Those that came to our wedding can attest to the fact that the party was on the dance floor. Cory is AMAZING. There are no better words. From Day 1 he was incredibly easy to work with. Their client questionnaire is so thorough and gave us ample opportunity to express our desires for our event. Cory was able to completely translate all of our thoughts, scrambled sentences, and preferences into the most fun day of music. Everything ran so smoothly, and he did an incredible job keeping the event on schedule and moving. I would hire him again and again and again. Absolutely no complaints, he was phenomenal. -

My husband and I wanted to surprise our wedding guests and add a wow factor to our choreographed first dance and we thought why not have some fireworks?! We used Dj Cory for our Cold Sparklers! Unfortunately, due to rain, we had to move our reception inside and we were only able to have the cold sparklers go off outside the balcony instead of inside the room. Even though the sparklers went off outside, it still made our dance so memorable! Cory was so kind and give us a little more time with the sparklers outside so we could take some photos and videos! It was such a pleasure to work with Cory! He was so professional and responsive. If you are thinking about doing cold sparklers for your big day .. do it! Your photos and videos will look amazing! -

Most talented DJ in the game
DJ Cory Barron was the first person we hired for our wedding. When we met him at a wedding expo we instantly knew we had to have him. He was extremely personable and just had great energy. He was so helpful in so many steps of the wedding. He helped us figure out the timeline, he was ready to help answer questions about other potential vendors, he helped us finalize on our photographer and most importantly of all he made our wedding day totally unforgettable. He knew our vision and he fully brought that to life. Every single person that came to the wedding was raving about how fantastic he was. He just kept the wedding day flowing perfectly. When the reception started and everyone got on the dance floor--people DID NOT leave until the night was over. The music could not have been more on point. He is very good at feeling the crowed and playing the music that fits. He is also very attentive to details...on our wedding day some of the groomsmen kept humming/ singing "Unwritten Natasha Bedingfield" during the reception he played a remix of that song and everyone went CRAZY. There are not enough words to describe how great he is or to thank him for making our wedding the best day of our life. HE made our wedding day the best day of our life. -

We had Cory DJ our wedding in Sarasota FL in March 2021 and highly recommend him for any celebration or event you have! My husband and I live for music and had A LOT of ideas and requests for each part of our ceremony and into the reception. Cory was always down for every idea we had and ran with them. And his hard work definitely showed- our entire wedding was partying on the dance floor the whole night. Cory played the most amazing music and was constantly mixing songs, which is what we had really hoped for in a DJ. We had every genre of music playing, and he was able to do it in a tasteful (yet fun!) way. He was everything we could have hoped for and SO much more. He did a great job and MC'ed to keep control of the wedding without being on the mic the whole night. He was the perfect balance!
In addition, our wedding was during COVID, and we had to add a virtual component to our ceremony. Our venue had no wifi option and Cory helped work with us in weeks leading up to the wedding to figure out how to livestream the event. He was able to seamlessly deliver a livestream ceremony that could be viewed by family and friends around the country. Lastly, he added in cold sparklers and lighting for the dance floor at the end that made such a big difference! The cold sparklers were AMAZING and we totally recommend.
Overall, Cory was awesome. So fun to work with, responsive to feedback and always open to ideas, and amazing professionalism and performance at our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding or special event! Thanks Cory! -

DJ Cory Barron is the BEST. He delivered the party we dreamed about. We hired him for DJ services during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was professional, communicative, and fun! Our wedding party was a roudy bunch, and he managed to wrangle us all and get us into the party on time. 🤣 He played all of our requested songs and stuck to the genres we asked for. He was really good at feeling the crowd and choosing the best songs to keep the party going. His uplighting was perfect and dancing on a cloud added a magical touch to our first dance. I loved the designer booth options because it blended in with our decor perfectly. My guests are still complimenting our awesome choice in DJ. He is relevant and he understands how to entertain guests of all ages. You deserve to have him entertain your guests on your special day! -

Cory was incredibly professional and excellent at his craft. He did an amazing job keeping us on schedule and playing all the music we wanted to hear. He made sure the dance floor was always full and that everyone enjoyed themselves. He made it a point to check in with us on multiple occasions during the reception to make sure we had what we needed. He went above and beyond by adding a projection over our dessert table and providing beautiful sparklers for our first dance. We couldn't be happier! -

DJ Cory Baron was an amazing company to work with! They made the entire DJ process so simple and were extremely easy to work with. DJ Rob (Araya) was fantastic and super accommodating. We were impressed with how well he adapted to the crowd and made sure to include music for all age groups in attendance. Even with our smaller-sized wedding of about 45 people, he made it feel like a party of 150+. We would highly recommend him to anyone getting married in the Tampa area! -

We had heard amazing things about DJ Cory but having never planned an event before, we didn’t fully understand how a DJ could really be such an integral part of our day. We were reluctant to invest so much in something that we thought was easy to DIY ourselves. Maybe some DJ’s just press play on a playlist but Cory delivered above and beyond. He truly captured the energy of the night and engaged our guests, kept us on track, and influenced the entire vibe from start to finish of our intimate reception. He added lighting to set the mood, checked in with us on timelines, provided mics for speeches, caught our dog who was running off during our exit, helped turn the heaters on… I mean, really, he’s so much more than a DJ. My only regret is not trusting his process sooner. Your wedding vendors will make or break your day, and our day was absolutely perfect in large part to Cory’s professionalism, preparedness, and commitment to throw a great party. If you want to leave your wedding shocked at how amazing it was; hire Cory. -

Corey absolutely outdid himself for our wedding. We had hired a string quartet to play at our outdoor ceremony, but it unexpectedly rained on our wedding day and the quartet wouldn’t go out to protect their instruments. At the very, very last minute, Corey moved his set up from the venue and wired it out to the ceremony and SAT ON THE FLOOR IN THE WOODS so that we could have ceremony music. He even got the song list from the quartet so he could try to match as much as he could. He went above and beyond and our ceremony wouldn’t have been the same without him. And our reception was SO fun. Literally every person was on the dance floor and danced all night, which is exactly what our goal was when we were looking for a DJ. And he’s so wonderful and personable and a pleasure to work with. -

Having Cory at our wedding was one of the best aspects of our day. He asked all the right questions and worked with our planner to make sure things flowed perfectly, and our reception was the party of a lifetime. His company provided super helpful playlists for us to choose from so that we could really customize the experience for our guests. And of course anything we asked him to play he kindly did! Choosing the right DJ and music for your wedding day can make or break the mood at your reception especially, and both my husband and I agree you won't go wrong working with Cory. We are so grateful to have worked with such a professional who also knows how to keep the party going all night long. -

First and foremost, Cory is a ROCKSTAR. He is so pleasant, kind, and super responsive. He is very open to however the couple wants their music to be and is extremely flexible. He made time to meet up with us twice before the big day to go over music and day of details. I know it never happens, but EVERYTHING was on time! The entire day Cory worked diligently with the Kapok staff, the photographer, catering company, and videographer to ensure everything went smooth, and it did! We got so many compliments on the music and how fun he was. It was our best decision to hire Cory Barron. He will not disappoint! -

From the first time we talked to Cory, we couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else to be the DJ for our wedding reception. He was so easy to talk to and always willing to answer my millions of questions. From the beginning, we were confident that we made the right choice in our entertainment hire for our special day.
On our wedding day, Cory helped us create playlists for our reception (dinner, first dances, cake cutting, dancing, etc). After giving him only a few recommendations on our style of music, he put together playlists that were spot on with our taste in music while giving enough variety that every guest would enjoy themselves.
Besides being an amazing DJ, Cory is also a wonderful MC and does a great job of keeping things on schedule while keeping the party going all night. Our guests loved the variety of music he played and the uplighting he did made our space look beautiful. We can not recommend Cory enough to make the wedding of your dreams come true! -

We had Cory as our DJ for our cocktail hour and reception. We cannot say enough good things about him!
From the first time we talked to him, we couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else. Cory is wonderful to talk to and we even found some of our other vendors because of his recommendations. Even though we know he does hundreds of events each year, he always made us feel like our wedding was important to him and that our music and lighting was customized specifically for us.
On our wedding day, Cory helped us create a custom mix for our first dance, was the perfect MC, and kept the party going all night. Our guests loved the variety of music he played and the uplighting he did made our space look beautiful. For us, having a great party where our guests would really enjoy themselves was our top priority; Cory made that happen.

Working with Cory was a wonderful experience, from meeting with him for the first time to discuss our wedding over pizza and drinks, to the ridiculous party of a wedding reception he pulled off. Cory was so flexible and completely available to me the week of the wedding, and helped take my stress-filled requests and bring them to life seamlessly. He handed all ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. In addition to the music, Cory was SO great about keeping our guests entertained while we took our time transitioning to our "grand entrance" into the reception. We never felt pressure to "stay on schedule"; he just rolled with it and let us take in every moment. We had added the Shoe Game into the plan for the reception for when the dance floor died down, but Cory kept the dance floor packed for literally the entire night and then some. He was also super helpful in adding in gorgeous lighting for us last minute with zero issue. Cory is professional, fun, NOT cheesy, and the best DJ we could have picked for our wedding. We are so thankful for all you did to make our day perfect! -

We recently had our wedding at Rooftop 220 next to Armature works and we had the pleasure of having DJ Cory Baron as our DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I have nothing but great things to say about Cory throughout our entire wedding process. My wife had originally heard DJ Cory at her workplace and was so impressed with his skills that we set up a meeting with him. From the start he was incredibly personable but also very professional and detail oriented. He did a great job at learning about us and all of our musical tastes and created a detailed spreadsheet of every aspect of the wedding. Everything from the song we played after we exchanged our first kiss to the reception music was perfectly designed to fit our specific needs. We were very picky with our music and specifically laid out exactly what we wanted and he was very accommodating to us and executed the music perfectly with his own flairs here and there. During the reception we picked one of his spotify playlists that contained acoustic EDM and it was awesome. My wife's family is latino so we were concerned about how much Spanish music would be played, but he found a perfect balance and got everyone dancing and doing merengue. He also has uplighting for the walls that we rented from him that turned out beautiful and I highly recommend them if they don't come with your venue because they really set the mood. Also, a couple of other really nice things we liked. DJ Cory is incredibly attentive to the bride and groom. He even made several efforts to check in with us at appropriate times and made sure we had everything we needed like drinks or food, etc. A note on our ceremony: we had some fun music choices like the Game of thrones intro and star wars, etc and he absolutely nailed it with timing and volume and everything. A note about our reception: we had a lot of unique characteristics to our wedding like trivia during dinner and a fog machine during the dancing and he managed all of that and did a superb job. So if you have unique things about your wedding that you need a DJ to accommodate, he does a great job. One thing I will say is that we were initially concerned because Cory will meet with you and get all of the pertinent information from you and then will touch base again a month before the wedding and that's really it. So we were concerned that he may not have enough information or he might not execute or whatever. But we could not have been more wrong. He was incredible throughout the entire process and despite us being super picky, he performed perfectly from start to finish. He is a meticulous guy who does not seem to miss any details so he can 100% be trusted to handle even the most complicated weddings. In conclusion, we cannot rave enough about DJ Cory Baron and I promise you if you trust him with your DJ needs, he will be a big part in making your wedding day special. 10/10, would recommend to everyone. -

Working with Cory was like a dream come true. We had been to so many weddings prior to ours where they played the same generic music and often times I would hear brides complaining that their DJ wasn’t playing from their song requests so that was something I did not want to happen at ours. Shauna Cooney, a photographer we knew, recommended Cory to us. Not only did Cory play what we requested, but he made the songs transition so smoothly and was able to accommodate some last minute changes. He also surprised us with a sparkler fountain which we had wanted to do, but hadn’t quite budgeted for and it was the sweetest gift! We would recommend Cory to anyone and hope to see him again in the future! We still have guests raving about how much fun they had and I know the music was a huge part of that. Thank you so much!! -

DJ Cory hands down was amazing! We got married on 03.15.19 and our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Cory! He was beyond helpful with song suggestions, making sure everything was perfect for our ceremony when we had a special acoustic song played by a family member, and went above and beyond when we asked him to help us surprise my parents with an anniversary dance where my husband and I voiced over a part in the song. The dance floor was packed all night thanks to his awesome music selection/remixes and everyone had a blast! Cory is so caring, professional and helpful. He goes above and beyond in all aspects of the night making sure we were taken care of, having fun and keeping the party alive! We definitely didn’t want it to end! Cory is amazing!
There was no other option for me for a DJ if I couldn't have Cory. I've known Cory for a long time as a fellow vendor and I knew every wedding he DJ'ed at was the BEST. He made a custom monogram for us to shine on our dance floor - it was beautiful! Cory made sure to play every single song I requested, along with some other awesome guest requested songs I'd overlooked. We included a special song for my parents, and he made sure everyone was having a great time on the dance floor! He's so personable, all my guests loved him! I can't thank Cory enough for making our day so special. -

Cory and his team were very professional and extremely detail oriented. They worked very hard to make sure every aspect of the music and audio presentation of the wedding events were perfect. They worked so well with everyone involved in the execution including the wedding party and the other vendors.
