We cannot say enough incredible things about DJ and officiant Chris from Wildfire Entertainment! Our wedding at Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, ID was absolutely perfect, and Chris played such a huge role in making it unforgettable.
From the very beginning, Chris went above and beyond—not just as our DJ, but also as our officiant. He took the time to truly get to know us as a couple, which made our ceremony feel so personal, heartfelt, and meaningful. He seamlessly blended humor, warmth, and sincerity, creating a ceremony that felt uniquely us and left so many of our guests saying it was one of the best they had ever witnessed.
What truly set Chris apart were the thoughtful surprises and special touches he wove throughout the entire day. From perfectly timed music moments to sweet, unexpected elements that kept us smiling (and even a few happy tears), every detail felt intentional and magical. It felt like he was just as invested in our day as we were.
And when it came time to celebrate—WOW. Chris absolutely brought the party. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the very last. Every single guest—young, old, and everyone in between—was up dancing all night long. He read the room flawlessly and kept the energy high without missing a beat. We’ve never seen so many people stay on the dance floor for an entire wedding!
If you’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, incredibly talented, and genuinely passionate about making your day special, Chris is the one. He didn’t just DJ our wedding—he helped create memories we’ll cherish forever.

Our expectations for DJ Chris and Wildfire were very high--reading the incredible reviews almost made him seem too good to be true. But he completely blew our expectations out of the water!
We got married at Grand Targhee this August, and we began the process with Chris several months in advance with a zoom call for us to get to know each other, which turned into a therapy session recounting all of the joyous moments of our relationship. He was so welcoming, approachable, and fun to talk to from the very beginning, and ALWAYS made us feel so at ease and confident about our wedding. Chris both alleviated and prevented stress about the details and logistics because he is so knowledgeable and has a system of going through all of the details that works wonders.
On the wedding day itself, the work that Chris and his team put into making our day smooth and enjoyable cannot be overstated. We owe so much of the success of the event to Chris--from helping adjust to the incoming thunderstorms, to wiping off the ceremony chairs, to MC'ing the entire day from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the speeches and dances. He was a hilarious MC and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed him. It was a dream come true for us--our wedding exceeded every expectation we had for it--and so much of that is thanks to Chris. He was worth every penny and we would have honestly paid him way more looking back on it.
It's worth it to hire Chris just for his logistics management and MC'ing, but he is also honestly he was the best DJ I have ever heard purely from a music choice/mixing perspective, and that was a common opinion amongst our guests. The dance floor was PACKED from about 9:30 PM when his set started all the way to the end of the after party (which was in a different location that he generously moved to, I should add). Many of the guests commented that they couldn't take a break--they would try to go back to their table for their drink but then another banger would come on and they were pulled back to the dance floor. He played music that he knew we loved, but added his own flair and mixes that kept the energy so high from start to finish.
I am pretty sure he earned some new clients at our wedding as several of our friends said they are hoping to hire him for their own weddings. Not that I would have skipped these, but now I for sure I will not hesitate to go because I know that any wedding that Chris is DJ'ing will be a momentous occasion. We feel so incredibly lucky that the best DJ in the history of the world happens to live in the area we decided to have our wedding, but even if you are having your wedding in Australia it is probably worth flying Chris out there.

Best DJ Ever!
Chris was truly the best DJ you will ever book! We went to a wedding where he was the dj, we weren’t even engaged yet and we decided we were booking him! He truly set the whole atmosphere of our wedding, kept people entertained, helped with events throughout the reception, and so much more! Our wedding truly wouldn’t have been what it was without him!! -

Chris the DJ - The Master of Vandal Vibes!
I cannot express how much of a blast we had at our wedding, all thanks to the incredible DJ Chris! From start to finish, it was a vandal wedding extravaganza, and we asked Chris to transport us back to my husband's fraternity days. Well, let me tell you, he not only met our expectations but blew them out of the water!
I'm pretty sure I didn't leave the dance floor the entire night, and neither did most of our guests. Chris has this magical ability to keep the energy high and the party going. It was like being in a time machine back to the best frat parties, and everyone loved it!
Chris brought this special moment to our wedding called the Love Story. It was an absolute hit! We're still getting compliments about that unique touch to our day. Chris somehow managed to make our love story even more special, and it added such a personal and unforgettable touch to the event.
Chris didn't just bring the beats; he brought the entire party package. The event ran like a well-oiled machine, and he was an absolute hoot throughout. Seriously, if you want your wedding to be the talk of the town, you need to hire Chris.
Chris is not just a DJ; he's a maestro of memories. Our wedding was a riot, and we owe a huge part of that to him. So, take my advice - HIRE HIM. You won't regret it! Thanks a million, Chris, for making our day as epic as it was! -

you NEED DJ Chris at your wedding!
I cannot recommend DJ Chris enough! We had a smaller wedding than planned but Chris was still able to bring people out on the dance floor! The planning process/app Chris uses is extremely helpful and made the process a lot simpler. He listened to all of our must-play and do-not-play requests!
Chris helps make the ceremony and reception very personal. Chris gave us a reading of our love story and it was great for the guests who may not have known how my husband and I have met. There are so many surprises he threw in as well such as reaching out to friends and families who could not attend the wedding and getting special messages from them.
If you are ever in need of a DJ I could not recommend Chris enough! -

Wow, we couldn’t be more grateful that our wedding planner told us about Chris! His attention to detail and care leading up to and during our wedding day was unmatched. You can tell he really loves his job and the level of effort he puts into everything made us so happy. I care a lot about music and was so grateful that Chris prioritized what was important to me throughout the day. He had lots of fun surprises for us, and our party was unmatched in energy and joy. Chris even helped me DJ a set and had everyone convinced I was so good and did it myself. He spent a lot of time helping me prepare and I wasn’t nervous at all. He also was very agile when we had a catering issue and needed to fill an extra hour of time before dinner was ready. Can’t say it enough — hire Chris!! -

You will not find not a better person to DJ at your wedding. Chris created a great balance between creating a party where people wanted to dance at the reception while also adding special moments in to keep the focus on the reason everyone is there together, because two people fell in love. The touches he added into our wedding are the moments people continue to talk. We are grateful we had Chris by our side on our wedding day! -

We came across Wildfire Entertainment and looked into their services. We read great reviews and ratings and decided to go with them for our wedding. We had a phone call with Chris and he was very professional and friendly, and personable as well. On the day of our wedding, Chris was enthusiastic and excited to celebrate our big day with us. His part in our wedding day was so significant to us and everybody who attended. His equipment was modern and clean, he was punctual and friendly as well. We had so many comments from our guests throughout the day as well as after the wedding about how great of a job everybody thought that he had done. There were also some very nice surprises and touches that he included for us which really had a great impact on our wedding day that will last in our memories as well. We couldn’t recommend Wildfire Entertainment enough for a wedding event. -

I cannot express enough my gratitude, appreciation, and amazement for Chris, Josh, and the Wildfire Team. Our DJ pulled out of our wedding last minute and Chris not only saved us, he completely transformed our wedding. So much more than a guy playing some music - they developed a specialized wedding program, orchestrated the ceremony and the reception (including wedding games, garter/ bouquet toss, etc), kept the mood high despite the triple degree weather, and even created mash-ups of my husband and I telling our love story and a surprise musical mash up of our girls talking to my husband in the song of the daddy-daughter dance. These gentlemen melted the stress of our day away. Josh was so professional and fun as our DJ - we couldn't have asked for anything more. These pictures show just a snapshot of how amazing our day was - these moments would absolutely not have been possible without them.
Wildlife isn't a "DJ Service" - they are a Wedding Planning and Entertainment Service and they completely made our wedding! -

YOU NEED TO HIRE DJ CHRIS! This is why...
My husband and I are active duty military officers and our service obligation(s) + COVID completely altered our wedding plans (three times!). Having a wedding that was intimate, meaningful, and FUN was so important to us and our family. I genuinely believe that DJ Chris set the tone for our entire event!
To start, Chris is INSANELY knowledgable, hands on, involved, and thoughtful! He truly cares about little touches to make your day as memorable as possible, and no ask is too big for him! He drove to our venue three times to check out the space for us (we did a destination wedding and are based out of Savannah, GA) and sent dozens of pictures and videos to help us as we planned everything from afar. Chris is sincerely a pleasure to talk to, and our initial consultation last over an hour as we chatted about vision, family, and shared musical taste. He really did make the planning stage a breeze for us and our coordinator!
Next, the PARTY! Chris kicked the party off at 100 and never stopped! Everything was absolutely perfect from our surprise first dance mash-up (you'll have to hire him to find out what it was!) to seamlessly mixing song transitions and even a little break dancing! Chris kept the party going by feeling the mood of the guests and playing DINGER after DINGER. Literally.
Finally, DJ Chris was the one thing our guests (and vendors) could not and would not stop talking about. He did not immediately pack up and leave at the stroke of midnight, and he actually kept the music going for the bridal party! Our photographers were especially impressed. They have photographed hundreds of weddings in the US and abroad and they both said he is the BEST DJ they have ever worked with.
In short, HIRE DJ CHRIS. He will put your memories and intimate moments at the forefront of everything he does, and I promise you will be so happy he did! -

Chris was an INCREDIBLE MC & DJ! I have worked as an assistant wedding dj and seen quit a few different djs and Chris BY FAR is the best one! He gave my husband and I along with all our guests the most fun wedding reception they have ever experienced. In fact, they told us that! Chris Davis was absolutely amazing at our reception. I’ve done a little production and he has it all put together so well. He worked with the bride and groom in making sure what they envisioned really happened that night. He works hard to get the perfect music and has a warm manner that really puts you at ease during the reception. He went the extra mile to make sure parents, grandparents and friends felt included.
