Chau was the epitome of professionalism and was able to go with the flow even when there were some last minute scheduling mishaps during our reception. His language skills came in handy when introducing Vietnamese family as well. 10/10 would highly recommend. -

We cannot speak highly enough of DJ Chizzau! From our very first conversation through to the last dance of our wedding night, his professionalism was top-notch. He was incredibly organized—sending us a detailed questionnaire well in advance, following up regularly, and coordinating seamlessly with our other vendors so there were no surprises.
When it came to his DJ skills and MC work, he absolutely delivered. He has an uncanny ability to read the crowd, mixing genres from all of our requests quite seamlesly. His introductions for the bridal party and key events were smooth, energetic and never forced. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night.
On a personal level, DJ Chizzau is friendly and outgoing—he made our guests feel comfortable, worked the room naturally, and brought a joyful, inclusive vibe. He combines that warmth with a professional presence, which made our entire event feel effortless.
If you’re looking for a DJ who is organized, personable, musically gifted, and effective as both DJ and MC, DJ Chizzau is the choice. He helped make our celebration memorable. Highly recommended! -

My wife and I booked with Chau Nguyen and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From our first meeting to final wedding details, Chau was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
He took the time to understand the vibe we wanted, listened to our music preferences, and created playlists that kept all our guests humming during dinner and on the dance floor after. Chau was flexible and easy to work with throughout the planning process, always quick to respond and open to suggestions.
On the wedding day, he arrived early, coordinated nicely with our planner, and kept the energy going from start to finish. His attention to detail and ability to read the crowd was spot on. We appreciated how he guided us through key moments and gave us an awesome closing to wrap up the celebration.

From the time we reached out to Chau until the day of our wedding, he was incredibly thorough and responsive. He has a very straightforward method to iron out all the details, and he made things very simple for us.
On the day of the wedding, he did a great job working with our day-of coordinator, as well as other vendors. He was a great MC, and was very good at getting the crowd involved as well as keeping things moving smoothly with the rest of the vendors. Once the dancefloor opened up, he was amazing! His playlist was perfect, as he included all of our requests and even included songs we forgot that we wanted to hear. It was the perfect sound for our wedding! I cannot recommend him enough, great services and skills - and he has very cool DJ lights as well. -

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than DJ Chizzau! From the first interaction to the final song of the night, he was professional, responsive, and truly committed to making our big day unforgettable.
He handled everything — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — seamlessly. The ceremony audio was flawless, and he coordinated every key moment with perfect timing and music selection. He even provided a lapel mic for our officiant and a handheld mic for vows/readings, which made everything so easy.
What really set DJ Chizzau apart was his attention to detail and his ability to read the room. We loved that he took the time to send us a personalized Google Form and build a Dropbox folder so we could preview every song before the big day. He curated a dance floor experience that had EVERYONE dancingHis mix of Top 40, classics, and our personal favorites hit the perfect vibe all night.
His uplighting added an extra layer of magic to the venue, and the dance floor lights were on point. We loved how he kept the energy high. And best of all, every song was a clean, upbeat version — exactly what we wanted.

My wedding wasn't the first time I had heard him on the mic/behind the turntables. He actually covered my best friend's as well as my sister's wedding - each with the same thoughts "wow, this music is great!" Mixed in with our playlist requests were popular songs that got everyone on their feet to dance and party. I personally asked Chau if he would be able to assist in surprising my wife with a song and he was incredibly responsive and we were too coordinate something that absolutely no one expected. For every and all of your DJ needs, I would recommend him in a heartbeat. -

I'm a very critical reviewer, so when I give 5 stars for everything in this review, I truly mean it.
Chau was highly professional on the day, dressed nicely, and made adjustments to our last-minute timeline without any issues. He was very responsive to our questions, easy to converse with, and made our wedding day significantly less stressful. He's exceptionally organized, detailed precisely what he needed from us, and ensured all the bases were covered for our wedding.
Delving into the details, the night of the reception went off beautifully. The sound system was flawless with no audio problems, and the music was just as we had imagined it for dinner. His uplighting was, without exaggeration, magical and worked exceptionally well, especially toward the end of the night's dancing. He definitely hyped up the crowd and ensured our guests had an awesome time.

I could not have asked for a better experience. Wedding planning was a stressful time for me, but not when it came to the music. DJ Chizzau made the whole process easy for me by communicating with me so clearly and quickly. He also provided a Drop Box link of song suggestions which I am so thankful for. It was definitely a better selection than what I found by searching on Google. I used his mix for the processional and he helped me find my walking down the aisle song, which is so crucial. :') We found out that we had similar taste in music so I trusted him with all of the songs for the reception and my friends loved it. They asked me if I made the playlist and I said that it was all DJ Chizzau. He really helped lift some of the burden I felt like I had to carry as the bride/wedding planner. Not only was he professional, but he was also so friendly and down-to-earth, which is what I loved most about working with him. He was recommended to me by a friend and I will also be recommending him to all my other friends. -

Chau was our DJ for our wedding at the Willard InterContinental hotel. He was so organized and placed a lot of care in making sure he had all of our songs exactly right, especially for the first dance, father dance, etc. Chau is super friendly and easy to work with. He is very dedicated to his craft. He had easy google forms for us to fill out well before our wedding and he also had a folder of different suggestions for songs we hadn't thought about such as the 'final song' - I would've never thought to pick "Love On Top" by Beyonce for our last song and we still listen to it to this day and have Chau to thank. He also provided lighting for us and made a wonderful suggestion on the color - leave everything all up to him! Highly recommend. -

We had a great time working with DJ Chizzau. Chau made it super easy to select the songs we wanted for each part of our wedding and gave recommendations for cake cutting and other parts of the wedding. We wanted a fun dance party and Chau definitely delivered. -

Amazing DJ!
DJ Chizzau did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding! He is extremely organized and sends a Google form for you to fill out, which will include everything he needs for the day of (and everything you probably haven't had time to think of!). He was very flexible with us over 2 years of COVID wedding planning. The night of the wedding, he kept the dance floor packed and played the perfect mix of new and old tracks for our guests! He is very professional as well. You can tell he loves what he does & is really talented - he brought a great energy to our wedding! I highly recommend booking Chau for your wedding DJ! -

We can’t say enough good things about DJ Chizzau. He was the DJ for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely amazing. He was extremely flexible (a huge plus since we made lots of changes due to the pandemix) and responded very promptly to our questions/requests. He worked with us to create the perfect music for our wedding. All of our wedding guests were raving about the music selections, and remarked that all of DJ Chizzau's mixes/transitions were awesome. Chau was great to work with, he was super responsive, extremely personable, accomodating, lively, and caring. The entire process was an easy collaborative effort - he took all my concerns into consideration and addressed all aspects of the day. I am a VERY hands-on person and I felt comfortable enough to hand off all decisions to him. Chau set a great tone for the wedding and hyped up the crowd for key moments. At the end of the night, he even offered to play a few extra songs as the vendors were packing up (and the last guests were leaving) so the night could end on a good note (pun intended). He was very honest with pricing and even took off a charge when he didn't use an extra speaker, I really admire that level of transparency. He will truly make your event special, hire him immediately! -

It's been a month and we wanted to share our amazing experience with Chau. Fun and good music was part of our top 5 must haves. We did our due diligence, we spoke to and requested multiple recommendations. We also read through countless online reviews and found Chau to consistently be on top of our must haves! After booking Chau for our event, we found working with him to be completely stress-free! He was proactive, asked all the right questions (he wanted to ensure the ideal playlist, including our favorite entrance & last song, and how to properly pronounce our parents' names or the introductions) and a perfectionist throughout. It was clear he was experienced and walked us through many aspects we quite frankly didn’t think of (including timing, ambiance, etc.). Chau worked tirelessly in his preparation and our evening wouldn’t have been so perfect without his hard work and dedication. We were so confident that he spoke to the venue coordinator without us and discuss the sound system. Thanks Chau for making our wedding day so memorable. For those interested in a DJ for a wedding (or special event), not only will you (and your guests) enjoy a remarkable experience but you’ll also work alongside a very talented professional. DJ Chau was amazing at our wedding. He was so nice and easy to work with. Very prepared for all situations. Provided mics and sound for the ceremony, set playlist for cocktail hour and uplighting in addition to standard reception DJing. He worked closely with us to ensure all the songs and styles we wanted were effectively incorporated. Transitions between songs were wonderful. He helped make our wedding special! -

We were behind schedule with many things throughout the wedding planning phase and DJ Chizzau worked patiently with us and made sure everything went smoothly. Seriously we didn't know what we were doing because neither of us planned or involved in any kind of wedding before and having an experienced DJ who knew what to do helped us a lot. This was our first wedding so we weren't sure what to do or to expected. Selfishly we even requested if he can be our MC at the last minute and he was like "NO problem!" without a hesitation. Working with Chau was super easy. He guided us thoroughly on every songs for each event. He was our one and only DJ, MC, light Specialist and last but not least, he's our wonderful friend.

We didn't put many restrictions on what music to play, so he was able to really read the crowd and play nonstop awesome tunes that people never stopped dancing to. All the songs flowed into each other seamlessly - I barely sat at all once the dancing started! He always was very prompt in replying to emails, and made planning the reception music super easy. At least two of our guests are going to be reaching out to discuss hiring him for their upcoming events, which is really the best compliment of all! Hire him, you will NOT be disappointed. -

During the wedding planning process, he made it so easy for us that music was the last thing on our minds after we contracted him. We were so stressed out about all the other details, all we could do was send him a 'must play' list, wedding song, and gave him some general info about our wedding & guests. This, with some of his recommendations, was pretty much all he needed from us to create a perfect wedding day. The music from the ceremony, through cocktail hour, into the reception was seamless.
Chau is a very professional DJ who will make sure all the music is exactly what you want. Communication was very easy with him whether it was directly with me, the groom, or someone else.
I had a videographer who taped my entire wedding and wanted to connect with Chau to get clear sounds during our ceremony. He made it easy for her to hook up to his system and I never heard a word of it after I gave her Chau's email.
Overall, we and our guests were very happy with Chau's DJ services. Highly recommend!

Music was the very last thing on my mind while planning, and Chau was able to help make it easier on me by providing some suggestions for our special night. He played all the songs we selected and did a great job transitioning from one genre to another. Received quite a few compliments that evening from our guests. -

From the start, he asked me to put together a list of songs I liked and we shared a google doc in which I changds and altered songs up until the day prior to the wedding. I was worried I was changing it up so much but it wasn't a problem with DJ Chizzau at all! HE GOT EVERY SINGLE SONG I REQUESTED!! He was so sweet and made the process very smooth and relaxed.
He bought his own awesome music equipment to our venue day of. He set it up with no issues at all and everything I requested (with time frames...) was on the dot! The music was incredible and sounds were on point.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ CHIZZAU TO ANYONE THAT WANTS HIM FOR A WEDDING OR OTHER EVENT!!!!!
