I first heard Logan play at my cousin’s wedding, and by the time we left that night, we knew we had to have him at ours. Having attended several weddings recently, we’ve seen firsthand how much a DJ can make—or completely break—the reception. Choosing Logan was one of the best decisions we made.
From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible. His music selection was spot on, but what really stood out was his ability to read the room. He knew exactly when to switch things up to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed.
Beyond the music, his professionalism and attentiveness were awesome! His announcements were smooth and perfectly timed, helping everything flow. On a personal note, when I was overheating (due to some airflow issues at our venue) he brought me a fan!
If you’re looking for someone who will not only keep your guests dancing all night but also truly care about your experience, Logan is your DJ. I can’t recommend him highly enough—you will be so glad you chose him! -

Winter Wedding / Apres
Logan was hands down the BEST wedding DJ we could have asked for! From start to finish, he matched our energy perfectly and kept the party alive every single second of the day — and well into the night. The dance floor was never empty — not once! He read the room flawlessly and knew exactly how to keep the momentum going as our daytime celebration turned into a full-on evening party.
What truly set him apart was his flexibility and dedication. He seamlessly moved locations throughout the event — from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception — and everything flowed effortlessly. On top of that, he even relocated to a separate ski après spot for us and brought the exact same high-energy vibe there, too! No awkward pauses, no downtime — just nonstop fun and incredible music wherever we went.

Logan was absolutely excellent as our DJ at the Chalet View Lodge! He met with us a few times prior to our wedding date to plan out the evening, and he followed this plan flawlessly. He did a fantastic job announcing instructions to our guests throughout the night and was a true professional. On the dance floor, he seamlessly mixed songs with a killer sound system that rocked for hours. Our dance floor was full the entire night, and his work was a big reason why. Logan was the most incredible DJ a couple could ask for! He was fun, kind, and a total professional. He nailed everything we asked for and more. He set up a disco ball, cold sparklers, and these insane subwoofers that you could feel in your chest. He even made our dream of late-night karaoke come true, which is our favorite. Logan genuinely went above and beyond to make sure it was the best day of our lives. I couldn’t recommend him more for your big day. He’s an absolute legend! -

We loved DJ Steele! Logan was super easy and fun to work with; it was like planning the ultimate party with an old friend. We started with very rough guidelines and have a wide variety of music tastes, but Logan was able to take this and fill in the gaps and make everything flow perfectly. He was a great MC and kept everything moving and on time; and was a fantastic DJ that kept the party going all night long. He was one of the first vendors to arrive and the last to leave and made sure everything was perfect throughout the day. We cannot thank him or recommend him enough!
He uses a very convenient app to help plan and put together the vibe for each portion of the day and we met with him multiple times to make sure everything was squared away. All of his equipment is off-the-grid friendly (multiple batteries, back up-systems, water-proof) and his music library stored locally, making him the perfect choice for a remote wedding. Because he has multiple systems, he was also able to set up at various locations and ensure there was also music going as the guests transitioned between different areas of the venue. We had a very windy day, so Logan helped us quickly pivot from lapel mics to back up handheld mics for the ceremony. Logan made the whole process extremely simple so we could let loose and party the night away! -

Fun & Professional DJ that can handle it all
Justin Gist with DJ Brock & Steele was an excellent DJ for our September 2024 wedding of 100 guests. He handled all the lighting and audio for our day, navigating a challenging venue setup with ease. This included managing sound for live performances, wedding readings, and music on a beach with no electricity, setting up lighting and audio for the reception area and dinner speeches, and an incredible DJ experience for dancing in the great room.
From the ceremony to dancing late into the evening, everything ran seamlessly. I had heard from so many others about wedding DJs who ask for input during the planning process but then show up on the day and play the same cliché songs everyone has heard a million times. That wasn’t the case with him at all. He respected the playlists we had planned together, ensuring every song matched the vibe we wanted, and his tools made organizing and communicating our music choices a breeze. I wanted our guests to be able to make audience requests and he made sure to cater to them while curating them fit the atmosphere.
He also recorded my brother’s ceremony music, the speeches, and the entire ceremony, giving us keepsakes we’ll treasure forever. His professionalism, style, and ability to adapt to the unique demands of our venue left a lasting impression on us and our guests.

Best wedding Dj
The best dj! Very professional, he helped us with everything, the audio was perfect, the lights he set up were beautiful, even our wedding was half an hour late and he adapted very fast to the changes. We had a playlist decided before but we asked him to change some songs and he was open to listen to the changes. I would definitely recommend him. -

Amazing dj! Best in reno/tahoe
Logan is who you need to book for your next event! He was so amazing to work with. We even met up a few weeks before the wedding and talked through our vision & the vibe and he blew it out of the park. We had some strong winds during the ceremony but the sound never went out, he has a great system and was prepared for everything. He even provided a photo booth pod for our guests to enjoy during the reception. We loved the app that he provides during the planning process where we were able to add our favorite songs as well as have guests request songs pre wedding day. Thank you Logan for everything!

Our DJ was truly the best! We received so many compliments about our music selection, and it made our wedding really stand out. I especially liked that our DJ shared an app with me where I could add my music selections for both dinner and dancing. This allowed me to add my own personal flair to the mix, and really resonate with all the songs that were played! I've been to many weddings, and felt like ours had the best DJ/music by far. Logan is truly top tier. We feel so fortunate we found him because he did the most incredible job DJ'ing our wedding! My wife and I are both huge music lovers so when we started planning our wedding we knew getting the right DJ was our #1 priority. I'm happy to report there is no one better than Logan for your big day. Everything was flawless from working with him before the wedding to his MC'ing to his energy to his mixing skills and song selection to his lighting setup (get the sparklers, they are AMAZING and our guests couldn't stop raving about them). Seriously, every guest we've spoken to afterwards told us the reception was easily the best wedding dance party they've ever been to. The dance floor was packed for over 3 hours straight. Logan was so awesome to work with! Everything from the responsiveness of our questions and aesthetic of the room was wonderful from him and his team. We had a wide variety of songs and cultures and he nailed keeping our party going with bringing in the right mix of Pakistani, Irish and American songs. You will not regret one bit if you have DJ Brock & Steele Weddings DJ and MC for your big day. Logan was very communicative leading up to the wedding and had a video call with us a couple weeks out to make sure we were all on the same page. He made us feel really assured that he had many backups for the tech side, but also emphasized he wanted to make sure songs he played reflected us as a couple (instead of a carbon copy wedding).
And he did not disappoint! Throughout the day we heard songs we recommended to him which made it really special since certain songs tie back to certain memories. And noticed he chose songs similar to our taste that made it seamless. The ceremony went so smoothly where our officiant didn't have to worry about microphone logistics. He took the extra step to make sure there was music playing at the top of a ski lift where we were having a cocktail hour. MC was on point! He kept the flow of the reception going and had such a great energy with the dance floor - he read the crowd well on when to keep a song going or to transition to another song if it wasn't a banger + he was dancing along making everyone feel the hype!
Praises also came from all of our guests commenting Logan was one of the best DJs/MCs they have ever experienced. A quote from a friend, "Dang that guy was SO GOOD! Will be singing his praises for the rest of my life."

One of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Logan! Not only is he personable and fun, but he is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. After our first meeting with him, my husband and I were confident in him and his services…and he did NOT disappoint!
We told him what we liked and what we didn’t like and his music selections were spot on. Every song he played was perfect. The uplighting he provided was incredible and it made the dancing/ reception feel like a true party! Logan felt more like a friend that night than he did a vendor. And his helper, Justin, did too! Logan was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! He checked in with us weeks before and the week leading up asking us what we like and don't like at weddings and making sure he had all of the details down. We booked Logan for our (originally) July 2020 wedding which was postponed to November 2021 when COVID hit. I can not say enough good things about our experience working with Logan. First, he was so incredibly easy to work with. When I reached out about postponing a few months into the pandemic, he was responsive and quick to help us rebook. We ended up having to postpone multiple times, and when our final date was already booked on his calendar, he told us he could switch us over to his partner DJ at no additional cost. He ended up being available after all, and we were so glad we got to meet him (finally!) when our big day arrived. Postponing due to a pandemic was a pretty miserable experience, but Logan made it as easy and painless as it could possibly be. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about at a very stressful time. I have an extra level of respect and appreciation for any vendor who was willing to be accommodating and helpful at a time when I'm sure they were hurting too.
Next, the actual planning for the day of was made so easy. We had a church wedding so only needed to plan music for the reception. Logan provided us with a set of worksheets to fill out that outlined the whole reception timeline and made it easy to plan. So much of wedding planning involves people asking you questions you don't know how to answer (this was the only time I had ever planned a wedding after all!), but his worksheets really helped us plan the details of the reception and see the timeline come together. When I turned them in, I let him know that I wasn't very picky about music and just cared about everyone having a great time. He definitely delivered on that!
When our big day finally rolled around, we and all of our guests had the absolute BEST day ever. Our reception was at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, and working with a local vendor familiar with the venue meant Logan was set up and ready to go without any day-of coordination on our part. So many of our guests found us throughout the night to talk about how great the music was, and people were excited that he was taking requests they submitted too. Logan worked with our day-of coordinator to make sure everything went according to the timeline, so Tom and I never had to think about the order of events or whether things were flowing properly. He always made sure to find us and confirm we were ready for the next thing (dances, toasts, cake cutting, etc.), so we were never caught off guard and could really enjoy each moment. He was friendly, outgoing, and clearly a professional at what he does. In the end, multiple guests told us it was the best wedding they had been to, and the venue made everyone switch to plastic cups because some people we were having too much fun... (LOL). I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Logan. You can be confident that if you book him you will be in good hands! -

Logan did a great job, and we couldn't have asked for more. He was responsive, answered all of our questions (and asked all the right ones), talked to us over the phone and set us up with an easy-to-use app to import all our playlists and share info with him prior to the big day. On the wedding day, he arrived early to set up his equipment and was very independent and friendly with everyone. DJ Logan was such a great addition to our wedding vendor team, after moving forward with his services on a recommendation from our wedding planner. We had an originally scheduled date of August 2020 that was postponed to August 2021 with the pandemic, and DJ Logan was very helpful and accommodating our rescheduled date. The biggest hope we had for our wedding was to have a really fun dance party for our family and friends, and DJ Logan delivered. Everyone commented on how great he was! Logan also found some really specific instrumental music we wanted to be played before the ceremony, and it was so special. He definitely went above and beyond for us, and I'll recommend him to anyone considering hiring a DJ for their wedding. -

I booked Logan months in advance and he was super helpful and informative leading up to our Vow Renewal day. He sent out a form to fill out in advance which helped give me some ideas on how the reception would flow. I am a terrible planner so I was looking for a vendor that would be self-driven and would be able to read a crowd. The reception wasn't super traditional so I allowed him to bring anything and everything he thought he would need to make the experience fun (fog machine, lighting, etc.)
Our reception was intimate so it was important that the entire crowd be involved in the dancing/partying. I can tell you that I literally never left the dance floor. He even got me so hyped that I grabbed the microphone and basically put on a performance rapping during the reception. The feedback was so amazing from guests and the event venue. The Events Manager was so impressed with how polite and talented he is that she asked for his information so she could recommend him moving forward.

From the very first call I had with Logan, it was clear to me how much he truly cares about his clients and making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned it to be. Being a DJ myself, choosing the music and setting the vibe for the ceremony and reception was one of the most important parts of the wedding day for me. Logan was friendly, kind, and incredibly accommodating from the get go. He did an awesome job communicating with us to ensure he was clear on our expectations going into the wedding day. Prior to our big day, Logan provided us with detailed forms to fill out for both the ceremony and reception in which we could provide all of our desired genres, songs, and any other important things we wanted included in the wedding events. Logan also set up a call with us the week of the wedding to go over the forms and make sure we were aligned on everything and answered any questions we had for him.
While we were already confident Logan would do a great job, he absolutely exceeded our expectations from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception! Logan played ALL of our “must play” songs and set the perfect vibe for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Logan also did an incredible job at communicating with us and keeping us up to date with the timeline and when to expect the dances, toasts, etc. to start. This meant a lot to us since it’s easy to lose track of time on the big day! Another highlight was when Logan let me DJ for a couple tracks - it was epic getting to DJ for all of my family and friends on my big day and it’s something I’ll remember forever! Logan kept the energy up from beginning to end of the reception with amazing music and MC’ing - he had everyone of all ages on the dance floor! We have so many epic memories from that night dancing to some of our favorite songs alongside our closest friends and family - moments we will cherish for a lifetime.

We got married in June lake CA. Logan travelled to us without any issues and made our day absolutely amazing! The music was on point and he made sure the groom and I were around to hear all of our requested songs. He did uplighting in the venue that looked great. We recently hired Logan Steele as DJ for our daughter’s wedding at Chalet View Lodge. Logan came highly recommended by the venue and he definitely lived up to that recommendation. The one request of the bride and groom was, “get everyone dancing.” Logan did just that! He artfully read the room, played a few different songs and quickly new exactly what the vibe of the crowd was and kept the party moving all night long. He even set up a second smaller sound system that was used to continue music playing while he broke down his large equipment. As for the ceremony and start of the reception, we were super impressed with how smooth everything went. Logan was knowledgable and prepared. The officiant, who performs a lot of weddings, said, “this was the best DJ/sound tech I’ve worked with at a wedding.” We knew the DJ was a key component to the perfect celebration and we will be always grateful to Logan for his part in the wedding. -

Logan was simply the best. He made everything SO EASY. We had to change venues 4 weeks before the wedding and Logan didn’t bat an eye. Everything was perfect. The dance floor was packed all night long. We didn’t even hire a wedding coordinator, we just gave him our timeline and he kept everything on track. Don’t even think about hiring a different DJ. You won’t regret it :) -

Logan is an incredible DJ for your wedding, the best description is a true professional all around. We were fortunate to have our wedding close to where he was located and he came the night before for our reception and helped with some music and awesome lighting!
On the wedding day he was there early and setup with everything very early! He took the time to interview the important parties and make sure that any special requests were accommodated. Once the ceremony began everything went like clockwork and we hardly noticed he was there, he even has a special program to live stream the wedding which was perfect as many guests could not attend due to covid!
Once we moved to the reception the real party began and his intros and toasts were excellent. He had another wedding the next day and still stayed until the last guests stopped dancing!
We felt like we got every bit of value for what we spent and I would have even paid more for him to be there, I would 100% recommend Logan to anyone looking for a DJ in Northern California. But don't wait until the last minute because these guys are popular!

DJ Logan Steele was the absolute best DJ ever! My husband was a DJ in college and so was EXTREMELY particular about who we chose for our wedding. Logan was amazing from initial consult through to the night of and both my husband and I were beyond impressed. He was so friendly, organized, helpful, and on top of every detail. He went above and beyond customizing everything we wanted and even listening to playlists of our favorite music genres in advance to get an idea of what we like. On top of all this, he created an amazing laser show that our guests were blown away by AND he let us both guest DJ. Anyway, DJ Logan Steele is the BEST and you absolutely need him to make your wedding amazing! -

My mister and I could not be happier that we found Logan Steele to DJ for our wedding. When we first FaceTimed with him, we already knew we liked him. He was so personable and so easy to talk to, it felt natural and made it easy for us to book him right away! Throughout the process, he was so patient with us, especially leading up to our wedding week.
He also helped us mic our guitarist and officiant for the ceremony. So so so so awesome!
Our dinner music, reception music and afterparty music was amazing! We had a great variety and all our friends and family were dancing throughout the night.
We were so excited to meet him on our wedding day. We couldn't stop staring at his beautiful eyes! (You'll see what I'm talking about when you book him!)
People will say their vendors are the best in the business, and as a project manager myself, when you book Logan, you'll have absolutely no worries. I trusted him throughout the process and I never stressed over his abilities and professionalism. He is a dream!!!
Now I wish I can throw another wedding so I can hire him all over again! Logan - Alex and I cannot thank you enough for such an incredible night! -

We had Logan Steele DJ our wedding and reception on 10/12/19 at Haggin Oaks and he did an amazing job. He was great with the song selection: both songs we had specifically requested that had meaning for us and songs very similar, as well as a few crowd requests.
He did a great job mixing songs and picking up on cues from the crowd and from the toasts. He also made recordings for us to have of our vows during the ceremony and of the toasts during the reception. We had a great time working with him! -

Where do I start! We had Logan for our DJ for our wedding this weekend and he was AMAZING!! So many guests are still talking about our DJ and how awesome he was! Logan seriously made us feel so relaxed and confident it was all going to go smoothly. I didn't have a timeline planned out for him so he took control of the whole reception and he was amazing at it! He coordinated with my photographer very very well and made it all happen! There is absolutely no reason to feel hesitant to hire Logan! He will take your event to a whole new level! He was also scheduled to stop playing at 10pm and some of our guest went up and paid him to play even longer! He went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect!! -

Logan Steele Dj'd our wedding at Northstar in June, and we could not have asked for a more professional, fun, and courteous guy to handle the music for our big day!
The entire process was so smooth and thorough, we had total confidence everything would be perfect - and it was! Over the course of a couple planning phone calls, he worked with us to build out the music to fit our vision to a T. We had pretty specific ideas for the vibes we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dancing; he nailed what we were going for. He even edited our first dance song to a tempo that made it perfect to dance to!

Logan (DJ Steele) did a fantastic job DJ'ing my wedding this July. He was easy to work with, from start to finish and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ for their wedding or any other event. I am picky about music and Logan listened to all of my ideas and requests and turned it into a great party with a good flow and packed dance floor the whole night. He did a great job managing audio for a large event, a high volume of song requests and a wide spectrum of music (Classics to Modern). Again, I would recommend Logan to anyone in need of a DJ.
