    Jim did a fantastic job at our wedding! Before the day, he went over the timeline and confirmed all of our song choices. He was very detailed and definitely got the party started and kept it going. Couldn't recommend more!

    Jim did such an amazing job! He knew exactly what he doing! Played all requests! Kept me updated on the schedule for the evening! Everything went smoothly I couldn't have asked for more! Thank you so much! I highly recommend this DJ!

    Tom & JT did an awesome job. They played all the right kind of music, the dance floor was constantly packed. We had an outside tent wedding (60 by 80) we should of had a bigger dance floor! Ha! But it turned out just perfect! Everyone had a great time! We would definitely recommend Diverse Sounds to others!

    Jim and diverse sounds was incredible. Amazing experience from start to finish. Never once was I worried about the music and how things would go because he is that good. Would highly recommend anyone choosing diverse sounds. Also, the photo booth managed by Courtney and Brandon was superb and a huge fan favorite.     Jim from Diverse Sounds did such a fantastic job at our reception. We booked him after he provided the DJ service for a friend's wedding and were so impressed with his ability to keep things moving without taking over the entire event. He fit the style and feel of our reception perfectly and was extremely accommodating with every request.

    Did such a great job. Too bad our DJ said he was retiring this year, he was great and so nice to all of our guest. Highly recommend.

    Jim was amazing. Played everything we asked for and more! Kept everyone dancing all night and always answers the emails back and forth.

    The price is well worth it!!

    I have no regrets booking Jim Batchelder from Diverse Sounds! He was an awesome DJ and kept everyone out on the floor. He isn't just a great DJ, he really is a good person, too. He makes sure the bride (one of the most important people :D) is satisfied. He even reminded me that I should get to the photobooth before it closed. I was so preoccupied with mingling that I forgot to enjoy my photobooth! Thanks again Jim!

    Would highly recommend Jim and his team! Jim was amazing. He did everything we asked for and was there to help with everything we needed. We used the photobooth as well and all of our guests had a blast. Would highly recommend this! They were all very easy to work with and he played a great selection of music that kept the crowd on the dance floor all night. Definitely worth the price!

    Thank you for making our wedding so special! Everyone said how great and fun all the music was, Joe Heyboer orchestrated things perfectly! People were dancing all night long, I would highly recommend Joe to many others getting married! What a blast!

    Thank you to Andrew & Jackson for dj-ing our wedding! There music was up to date and everyone danced the night away!!!! We highly highly reccomend them! They blended right into the wedding which was something we greatly appreciated! They are amazing and we will definately use them again! Heck we may through a random party just so they can dj it was that good!!!!! Thank you both! You made our wedding night perfect!!!!!!

    Jim did a great job! The dance floor was full all night and people had a ton of fun. He was very easy to work with and helped make the night go smoothly. I personally liked that he focused on playing fun music and only interjected over the microphone when necessary. Thanks for making our wedding great!

    Jim rocked. He bent over backward to work with our crazy schedules, and did a great great job the day of the wedding, especially in ensuring that the crowd had a great time.

    Jim and his staff were great! From our first meeting I knew that we had chosen the right DJ company for our wedding. They even did a set up at our outdoor ceremony location (so that we could have music and a microphone) for a really reasonable price, and took care of our reception perfectly. Jim is so caring and makes you feel comfortable right from the start. They took care of our reception perfectly, kept the dance floor full the entire night, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. It was perfect!

    Diverse Sounds was amazing! We had Jim Batchelder do our wedding reception and he did a spectacular job. We had an 80s themed reception in which we requested mostly 80s music and he did the research and provided fantastic music. When I was picking services for our reception the DJ was the one that I cared about the most. And let me tell you, Jim was the perfect choice. He kept everything very well organized and kept everything flowing smoothly. The dance floor was nearly full the entire time and everyone had nothing but positive feedback! It was the best night of our lives and want to do it again! lol Thank you Jim!

    We worked with Jim and overall were very happy with Diverse Sounds. Our reception was very relaxed and Jim did a great job keeping it that way. We found out a week before the wedding that we couldn't play music after 11 pm and Jim was willing to come in an hour earlier (since we had already paid for 5 hours) and we were able to use his microphone/sound system for the ceremony which really helped us out! We gave Jim a song list and there were only a few songs we were hoping to have played during the reception and unfortunately none of them were played...we did have a few friends comment on how they would like to hear something a little newer which was the only issue we had with the dj services. But overall, we were very happy with Diverse Sounds and would highly recommend them!

    We were so happy with our reception and a huge part of it was thanks to the guys at Diverse Sounds. They did a great job helping everything to run smoothly and covered everything that we wanted our reception to be. I can't even count the number of guests that told us how awesome the DJ's were and what great music they played. I'd recommend them to anyone!

    We were very pleased with Diverse Sounds overall! Great price, and they were willing to work with our budget and even offer us extra services that we asked for. Everyone at our wedding loved how much energy they had, and the reception ran very smoothly. They were very accommodating on the day of the wedding. Our ceremony got rained out, meaning their schedule changed as we moved our ceremony into our reception venue!

    Our only trouble was getting in contact with them beforehand to iron out details. We had trouble connecting to our actual DJ until three days before the wedding, which was a bit stressful. It all came together in the end, though, and we were very pleased with them!

    We hired diverse sounds to DJ our wedding in September. I met with the owner, who was a very nice guy. I was a little wary at first, because he seemed a little outdated in his taste, but proceeded anyway. We were assigned Tom as our DJ. We were able to meet with Tom, but he seemed reluctant to do so, saying that he doesn't normally meet with the client before.... I thought that was strange. When we met, we discussed our style and taste. It became very clear that Tom (although a very nice guy) was also very dated in the style of music he preferred to play. When we asked about the age of the songs he generally plays, he said he tries to stick to "8 months to a year old" so that everyone knows the song..... I thought this was very strange, given that people like to dance to classics and new songs they like. He also said he liked to play "techno jazz" during dinner. I had to REALLY stress to him that techno jazz was not an option for us, although he repeatedly insisted that he knew what he was doing, and to trust him. We did, but were sure to send a list of songs to dinner time.
    During the reception, Tom (and his son) did a very nice job moving things along and making the announcements without being too frequent. When it came time to dance, however, his songs were very dated, and I felt like we were at a middle school dance.... myself and my guests had to ask him to play new songs more than a few times. Once he got the hint, however, he rolled with it and kept the dance floor packed.

    Overall, I am pleased with their service, but not blown away. The price was good, and they did a decent job, but struggled a little in their taste.

    Diverse Sounds did a decent job DJing our wedding. We worked with Jim throughout the planning process and he was very responsive. Their prices are also very good and their lighting/set up was great. My only complaint is that we had a list of several songs that we really wanted played and had asked before booking if they would be willing to work with our song list, which we were told yes. But Tom, the DJ that was assigned to our wedding seemed to believe he knew best what songs to play based on his years of experience DJing weddings and didn't play several of the songs we had requested, and also played way too many "safe for older guests" type songs. We had a large party and a very young crowd, and had specifically pointed out that we liked a lot of current dance music (i.e. Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, etc. -- None of the songs we had requested had explicit lyrics or were inappropriate for weddings), but a lot of what I heard being played was less current. I actually sent one of our groomsmen over a couple times to ask the DJ to play less slow songs since the majority of people were hanging out in the cocktail lounge area and not out on the dance floor. By the end of the night of course everyone was out there having a great time. Tom was very nice and complimented us saying our wedding was one of the most fun he had been to. He was pleasant to work with, however overall I would have liked more current dance music played and would have liked to have had a few more of our specifically requested songs played.

    We play as many songs off our Brides list as we can and like to discuss some of your selections and when they would like to these songs played. Many times our DJ's will play to who is on the dance floor and of course will play the songs at the appropriate time. Sometimes our younger guests do like to visit the bar early on and of course that's why they are all on the dance floor threw the night. We play for all age groups and love to keep the dance floor going all night. We need to know your requests for music. Sometimes it's just takes a little patience. A lot of people don't dance at 8:30 - 9:00 in the middle of the summer.
