Custom Catering Event of our Dreams
Julia and her team at District Events & Catering will blow you away from start to finish. There was truly no competition from their customer service to the final presentation. As soon as we inquired with Julia, she picked up the phone and talked to us for an hour asking all about what our dream day looked and tasted like. She immediately understood our unique aesthetic and got to work. She was the first vendor to submit a proposal and had unbeatable pricing. We would also like to add, she is the only vendor where our meals could be fully customizable and they were! Our tasting was well orchestrated and we were able to try full portions of everything we were interested in. She took our critiques and executed 100% on our wedding day. All of our guests could not stop RAVING about the food. Everything tasted like it was made by your mother, who was also a five-star chef.
For reference our wedding was 170 people and included h'orderves (5 options), plated salad, plated meal (3 options), and a dessert table (3 options).
To really highlight how phenomenal Julia is, our Sunday brunch vendor canceled on us six weeks before our wedding and Julia immediately stepped in and saved the day. Again, guests could not stop raving about the food.
We cannot say enough about how thankful we are that we went with District Events. Julia is an absolute delight to work with and we hope that you choose her for your next event, I know we will!Julia and her team at District Events & Catering will blow you away from start to finish. Amazing bespoke catering experience for our wedding!
District was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding catering. Julia was incredible to work with, she's so easy to talk to and she was happy to work with us on our rather complicated menus. We wanted an all vegan menu for two days, one day focusing on South Asian and Indian cuisine and the next day implementing Spanish, Dutch, and German cuisine. When I say that the proposed menu was perfect, I mean they put together menu items that absolutely blew our minds, and the food was delicious to boot! All our guests raved about the vegan sausages, the portobello schnitzel, and the ratatouille from the second day. The butter tofu and the biryani were major highlights from the first day. We also had to balance cultural directions from our parents and Julia was gracious and made it easy to finetune the menu so that it made everyone happy!
In short, District is incredible. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend and I will absolutely be using them again the next time I have an event catered!District was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding catering. Delicious food and wonderful presentation
Absolutely love working District Events and Catering!! Rajan and Julia are always on point with all the clients and provide the best service. great experience with Julia from District Catering
Julia Hurwitz at District Catering did a great job for my daughter's wedding. From the initial call to our delightful tasting (my favorite part of the catering experience!) to her detailed and confident execution of our plan, Julia was a consummate professional. She worked with us tirelessly to develop our menu, made recommendations of other vendors when I was having problems finding the right partners, and was a valuable source of insights and suggestions down to the last detail. She went out of her way to help us coordinate with a third party dessert provider that my daughter wanted. She came to the venue herself on New Year's Eve to set up and to supervise. She was a real pleasure to work with in every way. Everything went seamlessly -- and the food was delicious!! Food and Customer Service is top notch
It was a pleasure working with District Events and Catering for our Sangeet/Welcome Dinner. Julia is nothing short of fantastic. She is prompt, professional and very organized. Dinner was fantastic and many of the guests complimented the food. Amazing!! Use them now
Nothing short of amazing. I loved the communication the entire time. The food was absolutely incredible and not the “common” food you see at every wedding. To top it off, the entire team during the wedding was incredible. We felt like we’d known them forever. They were great with our guests and overall insanely accomodating.Nothing short of amazing. Best catering service in south east
The District Events Catering team was nothing short of professional. This team was perfect to work with for our wedding. They catered multiple times throughout our three-day wedding weekend. From the beginning, the team has been helpful and attentive for all of our needs. They worked with us on any concerns and ensured we had everything approved before the big weekend. Our guests loved all of the food - no one was disappointed on the taste or presentation. The taste was curated per our family's style, which made each meal even more special for everyone. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of the food and the gracious staff. We had an internal error and didn't have a caterer booked for a really important event. Not only did Raj and his team help us with a menu, but they even worked with us when we changed our minds. All of this was done very last minute so we were just happy to have the food and were just hoping it was acceptable. Well, EVERYONE raved about the quality of the food. I had no less than 20 people ask me where they could go to eat at this restaurant. Every single person went back for seconds. Luckily the portions they give you are really generous. They were able to provide us with a full credit when we were ready to commence with our celebration again. The food was delicious and his staff member, Ritu was extremely helpful in setting up and collecting items the next day per our convenience. I will definitely recommend District Events to all my friends and family. They were outstanding! We received several compliments on the food and many American guests requested the recipe's.
