    Wedding October 2018

    Colleen was easy to work with, and the food was absolutely magnificent. People are still talking about it, emailing me and texting me. The event was wonderful and the food was memorable and the attention we had from Cityview and from Colleen was fantastic. I highly recommend!

    We cannot say enough about Colleen and her catering service Dish. Meeting with Colleen to begin with you could tell she was genuinely excited to be a part of our reception. She was extremely flexible, and absolutely amazing when it came to helping us put together a great reception.

    So we thought to ourselves, how can this get any better? Well it did! The day of the reception we did not plan on ever seeing an appetizer, knowing they would primarily be for our guests, as we would be showing up much later than the others due to more photos. Well when we arrived and were waiting to go in to the reception, Colleen planted two of her servers next to us with trays of all of our appetizers. Which was absolutely amazing as we were all starving and needed some food!

    Throughout the rest of the night neither of us had an empty glass, when it would appear we were getting low on liquid, there was a server or Colleen to fill us back up.

    You would think the service would be enough to sell someone on Colleen and Dish. . . but in the immortal words of Billy Mayze "But wait! There's more!". The food was astounding! The only thing bad I can say about Colleen and her food is that she does not also have a restaurant where I can go and get this food every week!

    Over all I would dare anyone to find better food and service with another catering company.

    Colleen was the best! Her and her staff made sure our night was one to remember! The menu was awesome, the staff was friendly, and we were very well taken care of! She didn't want your everyday wedding food and Colleen made sure we got what we wanted! She worked with us to create a menu our guest are still talking about months later!

    The food was amazing, there was a good variety and everyone loved it. Even days afterwards guests were still commenting on how delicious and unique the food was. Colleen is such a joy to work with!

    Colleen at Dish was a joy to work with and her food is incredible. We had an outdoor event and she went the extra mile to remove any worry about what was happening with food prep and service. Also, all of the food was SPECTACULAR. She worked with us to include some fall foods and also to incorporate our favorite flavors (buffalo for him, asian for me!). Dish gave my parents and I a great feeling of confidence leading up to the wedding and the guests are still raving about the food.

    Dish provided a wonderful meal, covered all the bases with comprehensive services even down to glasses and serve wear, clean up, and all with friendly professionalism. Whatever we needed Colleen came up with a way to make it work and our day was worry free and so enjoyable. Hope we have another opportunity to work with you again!

    Setting up a taste testing was so simple and easy. The people at Dish worked with us and were very flexible. And oh my goodness... the food. Absolutely incredible! So many of our guests still talk about how delicious it was to this day. Thank you for helping to make our reception so memorable in such a positive way.

    Colleen was great, but a little slow at getting back to us when we were trying to plan our meal. In one instance, I e-mailed, called, and texted her but didn't get a reply for about three weeks. When planning a wedding, this seems like forever! She did come through, though, and the food and service the day of our wedding was great!

    There isn't enough room here to share all that I would like. Here is the gist. While our reception was lovely and the food was good, it is not a complete reflection on the experience we had with Dish and especially Colleen. It’s hard to fathom how Dish can stay in business with such poor customer service and communication. We were ignored for three months after multiple phone calls, emails, Facebook messages, and even in person visits to City View to attempt to set up a meeting/contract with Colleen. Never once did we get an acknowledgement or anything more than an obligatory “sorry” about delays in responding and communication. While Dish’s prices and the end result were both very nice, if we had to do it again we would rather pay more in order to have a vendor that promptly answers emails and questions. We were contacted by a friend who knew we were working with Dish and was also having communication difficulties even before booking CityView. Future couples beware – no matter what Dish says up front to secure your business, you will have the same difficulties.

    Highly disappointed with the communication. Several meetings were canceled last minute and I even showed up to one that was scheduled several weeks in advance and Colleen was not there. I wasted time and energy while getting what I felt like was the run around. In the end the food was good and the place looked nice but I don't know that it was worth the stress. There were emails, facebook messages, and text messages all left un responded to. As a business in this day and age you have to make communication a top priority. I finally was compensated after letting it be known that something would have to change. Also there are no assistants or anyone else to talk with. My reception was in the fall and the answering machine message said that they were out of the office for 4th of July.

    Money stolen and bar scam! never let anything out of your sight, police and City View security were GREAT! But never should have needed them!
