When shopping for a wedding venue, you find your opinions change throughout the process. We checked out beach hotels, luxury hotels, venue halls, & yet, from the minute we arrived at the Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club (DGTC), it was pure magic. The place is absolutely gorgeous, as you can easily see from the website. But truly, it is the staff that really makes the DGTC the perfect wedding ceremony & reception option. Planning a wedding is stressful, but Lauren provides such guidance & positive support, that it makes you feel like you really are planning your own fairy tale wedding. She always has a smile on her face & is an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us create our vision & guided us the entire way. And she is SUPER punctual & responsive. Any changes or questions I had, she got back to us right away. The day of, we had Wade working behind the scenes & Dejan was our personal assistant the entire day. I wish I could bring Dejan with me everywhere because he is the best wedding bestie a bride could ever ask for. Wade & Dejan clearly love what they do & they definitely know what they are doing! All of our outside vendors commented what a pleasure it was working with the DGTC team. The food was amazing & everything from the ceremony setup to the reception hall were set up beautifully. Their team runs everything so well, that I was able to enjoy my own wedding. There was never a line at the open bars, & they never ran out of food. You hear stories from almost every wedding about something that went wrong at the venue, but when you work with DGTC, NOTHING goes wrong. The Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club knows how do to weddings, & they do them flawlessly and exquisitely. I could not have asked for a better team, a better venue, a better setting or a better wedding. Not only do I highly recommend them, but I can’t thank them enough for giving me & my husband, a better wedding than we ever could have dreamed.

I've recently had my wedding at the diplomat and Lauren and the staff were awesome. From the initiation stage up until the wedding was completed. The services provided were 5 star! The venue is breath-taking. My guests were impressed !!!! I would recommend this venue to any couple that want to have a wonderful and luxury wedding.

We did an exhaustive search of wedding venues, and the Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club came out on top as one of the most beautiful, classy, and quintessential places in Florida. Our guests, many of whom came from around the world, were blown away by the incredible outdoor terrace ceremony set up, fantastic and delicious food and drink options, and romantic ballroom ambiance (the low-lit chandeliers and simple floral arrangement made the atmosphere simply magical).

The staff (we worked with Lauren, Dejan, Tandina, Deborah, and many more) were incredible from start to finish in terms of the months and days leading up to the wedding date, and especially the day-of. Thanks to all of them we were able to have as perfect wedding day as we could have hoped for and more!

From beginning to end, the Diplomat provided nothing short of an exceptional experience. On the day of, the staff was beyond accommodating and always a step ahead. We did not have to worry about one thing, and they made the entire day stress free. All of our guests raved about the food and drinks and how on point the staff was. We would highly recommend the Diplomat!

We did our wedding at the Diplomat Golf and tennis club on the 22nd of December 2016.
If you ask me what I could have done better this day I would answer: Nothing! It was just perfect: Beautiful, sweet, smooth, and with an amazing good vibe.

From the beginning it was like this. Helping with the organization, listening to and achieving our needs sincerely.

The day of the wedding was just magical! No stress at all for us ( the pretty suite helped also to get ready with peace), just the pleasure to be guided with love! We couldn’t ask for more!
Everybody working there is very charming, efficient and above all discreet! They are here for you, always one step ahead and you even don’t realize it!

The food was delicious and the place the most beautiful place where you can imagine say “I do”.

We were amazed and so so so happy for our beautiful day! It will really be one of our best day in life! It was so us and for this reason thanks a lot to the Diplomat golf and tennis club.

BOOK! The level is service absolutely incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. My husband and I were married there on November 11th and everything was absolutely perfect. I mean from the first time we went to casually visit the venue, to the point where we were leaving in our getaway car, everything was top notch. Lauren is the absolute best. She was so flexible with our schedules, worked with us to ensure we received everything we asked for and then some, and was truly invested in making the day perfect. If I sent an email, I knew I would get a response that day, if I called, either her or Megan would respond. These ladies are unbelievable. Then the day of the wedding, Lauren was waiting right there at the elevator with her warm smile to greet me and my bridal entourage. Then our get ready room...excuse me...get ready SUITE...was absolutely beautiful...I was blown away. I'm telling you, every step of the way Lauren was there. Then we have Tandina...my day of coordinator. Every time I turned there was Tandina ensuring I had everything I needed. I swear she was in the corner somewhere just watching me because every single time I turned needing something, she was there. I was truly blown away at the level of customer service. But the amazing thing is, you can tell they love what they do because it was all so genuine and real. Lauren and Tandina were there from the moment they fluffed my dress in the back so I could walk down the aisle, to the time Tandina literally made sure I was in the car and waved goodbye as we drove away. I can not thank them enough for taking away all of the stress. If I ever dreamed of the picture perfect wedding day, this was it and I thank the Diplomat, Lauren, Tandina and Chef (yes the quantity and quality of the food was bar none...you will not be disappointed), and all of the staff members for their warm hospitality for me and all my guest. Everyone kept saying what a gorgeous ceremony, reception and venue it was.

I had my wedding reception here on 11/05/2016; this place is gorgeous and the customer service is beyond awesome; from the beginning of the venue searching/booking, all the way to the moment, that I left the venue. Lauren helped me with all my questions and responded within 24 hours or when she would return to the office (unless Megan responded; who was also great). Lauren was there on the day of the event, helping me with anything along with Tandina (my day of coordinator) who was awesome as well. Tandina was there every time I turned to help me with whatever I needed and was the sweetest.

Everyone is still saying how breathtaking the venue was from the entrance, to the ballroom and the fountain terrace. Also, the quality of the food was great; everyone wanted more! – My husband and I are very glad that we choose The Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club as our wedding reception venue.

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club. Lauren, Kim and Meagan are all nice to work with and extremely helpful! We are grateful that they were part of our wedding. Lauren assisted in all the details and made it easy to contact her whenever I needed. Meagan hosted our food tasting and Kim was the perfect day-of-coordinator. Food was delicious, the grounds were beautiful and the indoor ambiance was very elegant.

Absolutely stunning venue! My wedding seemed like that out of a fairy tale the scenery is amazing and my guests thought everything was beautiful. The wedding coordinator Lauren was also great she was always available to discuss details and kept us on track. The "hors d'oeuvres" were amazing guests raved about how good they were and had plenty to eat during the cocktail hours. The main course was also delicious especially the salmon.

See the venue in person, you will not be disappointed. Make a list of questions and concerns you make have before seeing the venue so that all your questions are addressed and answered.

My husband and I were married at the Diplomat on March 6,2016. The process from beginning to end was fantastic, problem-free, and a pleasure. Lauren and her amazing staff were wonderful to deal with, very helpful, and made the whole experience so pleasurable. I can't say enough about how great an experience it was. The day of our wedding was magnificent, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. Our guests and family are still raving about the delicious food and how beautiful everything was. The location is perfect and I can say nothing negative! Our special day was made even more special by all those at the Diplomat who worked so hard to make our wedding perfect.

My wedding on 12/12/15 was absolutely perfect and it was in large part thanks to the staff at the Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club. The food at weddings can often times be unremarkable to say the least. That was not the case at the Diplomat! Our guests raved about the taste and presentation of the food at our wedding. The staff was amazing to work with and made the process very stress free, especially Lauren and Kim. Lauren, the director of catering, was very attentive and quickly responded to all of my questions and concerns. The venue is beautiful and is a nice hybrid of a hotel and country club wedding. My husband and I were beyond delighted with how our wedding turned out. We would definitely recommend the Diplomat to anyone getting married! We would give this vendor 10 out of 5 stars if we could.

My wedding was on 09/27/2015 at this absolutely gorgeous venue! We were very pleased with the wedding, the service, the food, the attention, etc. Our guests are still taking about it and saying how attentive the staff was and how organized everything was We also received rave reviews on the food for both cocktail and party. Lauren was great and put up with all the questions that a bride could dream off. She was always happy to answer everything, thank you Lauren! On the day of the wedding, Kim was our captain and she was nothing short of spectacular! Kim did everything and was everywhere, she was really "all over it" plus she was so happy too! I recently saw the wedding pics and noticed that Kim herself was the one that placed the boutonniere on the groomsmen, father of groom, groom and corsage on mother of groom. As it turns out, Kim, can do anything! Thank you Kim! My husband says our wedding was like in the movies and it sure was! The place is gorgeous with all the lovely fountains, it's very nicely appointed and kept, all very clean. The getting ready rooms are a plus, too! The weather didn't hold for us to have the ceremony outside but I'd like to think that just gives me an excuse to go back for another event like a vows renewal or maybe some anniversary pics. Nonetheless, the staff was ready with the inside space and implemented the back-up plan seamlessly. The pricing was also reasonable when compared to other venues. The valet parking is a nice touch for the guests, too. Wayne (I think that was his name) was also extremely attentive! thank you Wayne. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club without hesitation. It's a swanky place for a classy wedding.

I honestly don't know how to thank you guys for giving me the perfect wedding. Not only did they work with my budget they accommodated me so much I did not have to worry on my wedding day one bit. Everything was perfect. The food was AMAZING our family is still talking about the food and coming from the islands that is a compliment very hard to achieve with us and you guys exceeded our expectations. Lauren you are a close to a saint I emailed you so much I was surprised you didn't get tired of me. Thank you again for everything.

We had an extraordinary wedding and thanks to the staff it went off without a glitch! The staff was very attentive and Deb and Lauren who managed our event treated us like family. I would highly recommend them and the venue. The grounds are amazing for photos!!
