The best cake and cupcakes - they were delicious!!! On top of the fact that Wendy waited hours for us as we were stuck in traffic then broke down - truly went above and beyond for us! Thanks so much, you helped make our wedding amazing!!!! -

Our wedding cake was perfection! a few months before the wedding we did a cake tasting with Wendy. We got to try 10 different cakes, they were all amazing which made it so hard to choose!! We went with Oreo cookie because it was so creamy and tasty! Wendy showed up on time, set up the cake and we had no problems! The cake was beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted! She really does know how to take an image of what you want and make it look stunning while still tasting so good and fresh! -

Wendy did an amazing job on our cake! It was beautiful and quite the centerpiece. Wendy is responsive and willing to work with your design. I showed her the picture at our tasting and a few changes to add throughout the time before the wedding. She had no problems making the changes and got back to me right away. The best part was showing up at the venue and having the cake delivered, no problems and was all taken care of. So nice to have a vendor that is reliable and self sufficient. I will highly recommend Wendy and look forward to working with her again in the future! -

Absolutely delicious and beautiful. I highly recommend Wendy's cakes to anyone looking for a special cake for a wedding or special occasion. This is the second time we used her (first birthday, and then our wedding cake) and were very pleased both times. The wedding cake looked even better in person!! :) -

We tasted so many cakes from so many different bakers in the greater Seattle area for our wedding and I have to say that non of them compare to Wendy's cakes! When we met her she provided us with TEN different flavors to try! Much more than the standard 4 or so that we were given at all the other places we tried. Her cakes were amazing, so flavorful and fluffy! We ended up picking a beautiful 4 tier cake and a separate sheet cake in three different flavors (black forest, red velvet, and lemon raspberry), all of which were perfect. Wendy was able to take my design vision and make it into a reality! The day of the wedding, she arrived on time and with our perfect cake! We could not have been more happy! Thanks for helping make our wedding day perfect, Wendy! -

Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts did a phenomenal job creating my wedding cake. They had a variety of cake flavors and designs to choose from. Wendy was very accommodating and easy to work with. She gave us a wide variety of cake flavors to sample so we could pick out what was just right for our wedding. Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted so delicious. My husband and I were thrilled with the results. Their prices were incredibly affordable as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding cake! -

Kingsley Dimensional Desserts made our three-tier wedding cake, groom’s cake and a gluten-free cake. I had some many people ask me where my cake was from. Not only were the cakes beautiful, but they actually tasted great. I was very impressed with Kingsley Dimensional Desserts; they allowed me to do two cake tastings because my husband was not able to go to the first cake tasting. They made a replica Starbucks Cup for my husband’s groom cake. She even personalized it by writing his name on the back of the cup. All of my guests were taking pictures of the cake because they couldn’t believe that someone could make such a beautiful cake and not to mention it tasted like a peanut butter cup. We decided to eat the top of our cake because we plan on ordering a replica of the groom’s cake for our one year anniversary.
Kingsley Dimensional Desserts are very easy to contact. My emails were answered within the same day, if not the same hour I wrote it email. You can either pay online with a credit card or you can send in a check. The prices are about half the prices of anywhere in town and you have the option for fun flavors like: cookies and cream, peanut butter cup, chocolate chip cookie, and pink champagne (with real champagne!!!!).
If you have an idea for a cake and are worried that no one can make it for you, call or email Wendy at Dimensional Desserts. She will be able to make anything you can dream up.

Our special order wedding cheesecakes from Kingsley's were over the moon, melt in your mouth delicious. Communication was excellent. No problems with changing my mind a few weeks before when I chose to simplify. Very helpful in helping us create that perfect centerpiece for our unique backyard picnic wedding. Delivered perfectly and on time. Arrived looking professional and obviously is proud of their creations, as they should be! A+++ Highly recommend! -

Oh my goodness! If you are wanting something totally different or origianl this is the palce to get your wedding cake! They can do what ever you want,and oh my the taste of the dessert/cake is awesome! You can go to just a regular bakery and get a wedding cake made for about $400 or you can get the same totally customized to what you want/how you want it plus alot better tasting for either under normal bakery prices of about the same.We have been telling everyone about Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts! Never knew they where around untill we had been suggested to check her out through our wedding planner.She not only makes wedding cakes,but desserts/cakes for all different occasion.All we can say is AMAZING -

My husband and I (as well as all our guests) just LOVED Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts.
Our cake was beautiful and tasty.
And to top it off, they didn't rob us. If anything, they gifted us with a beautiful cake with an unbelievable price. I'd recommend them over the overpriced Celebrity Cake Studio. -

Wendy is great! We met once, checked out her prices and tasted her delicious flavors of cake and we were sold! We had a 5 tier cake with chocolate chip, raspberry cake with white chocolate, raspberry cake with champagne, OMG! We emailed her a picture of how we wanted the cake to look and it turned out so beautiful! Also, we bought boxes so we can pack up any left over cake and take it home, but her cake was so delicious to our guests that we were only able to take the EMPTY cake boxes home! All the cake was gone! Her cost was incredible! -

Wendy and her husband made a beautiful and truly delicious cake for my wedding in August of 2009. We could not have been happier with the cake and all of our guests loved it. Wendy originally suggested fondant because we were having an outdoor wedding, but she knew I preferred buttercream, so at the last minute when it was clear it wasn't going to be too hot of a day, she made it with buttercream instead. So appreciated! The value is incredible too--most cakes of this quality cost twice as much. Thank you, Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts, for providing such a wonderful service! HIGHLY recommended. -

Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts was everything I would want when choosing a vendor for my Wedding Cake. I brought a picture of a cake I wanted and the owner was excited at the prospect of a new design, and not ready to charge me $20 per layer that I'd have her copy the design for.
Even the tasting was perfect. They came to us. And brought plenty of flavors of cake to choose from. They were very professional.
The cake is beautiful. I will recommend Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts to anyone who needs a special cake. -

Our guests raved about how beautiful and what a cool idea the cupcake tower was! While there is some times stress during the planning of the wedding, at no point did we have any worries or concerns about the cupcakes. The tower was beautiful and tasted as good as it looked. I had a groomsmen's cake made for my son and I was thrilled with the results as were all of the guests at the wedding who were taking pictures with their cell phones as they walked by. Everything was fantastic and I am hoping to use Kingley's Dimensional Desserts again if and when one of my other sons get married. Wendy was amazing from start to finish. She was the first cake vendor I met with and though I had planned to comparison shop, once I met her and tasted her cakes I was ready to sign the contract! Wendy and Bob were one of the nicest vendors we worked with during our whole wedding planning process! We met with several others before that just didn't have the professionalism and willingness to work with our ideas, and most importantly, our budget! We got to try so many yummy samples of some of their most popular cakes, and even got to take them all home!
Whatever you want, they CAN and WILL work with you to make the yummiest and best desserts! We absolutely loved our cake! I had so many different ideas of what I wanted the cake to look like, and they were so supportive and accepting of all the different things I had in mind!
My favorite layer of our 4 tier cake was the Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake! Soo yummy! We will definitely be ordering from them again for just any occasion! I highly recommend Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts! -

I loved loved loved my cake. I sent Wendy a couple of pictures and it turned out beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Any time I emailed for updates or changes, she was fast in responding. The sugar orchids on the cake looked so real, BEYOND my expectations. The cake tasted good, it was moist and not too sweet. The fondant is made out of marshmallows and tasted better than any other fondant I've ever tasted. Although my guests were so confused as to what it was ( go figure, too many magazines made me want fondant. . . should have probably just stuck to buttercream). My only gripe was that my 4 tier cake was slightly lopsided. Other than that, Kingsley's is a AMAZING with a great price to boot. Thanks! -

We called late at night on the evening before their monthly cake tasting, but they were still nice enough to accommodate us. I was out of town that day, but my husband went and brought back tons of leftover samples for me to try later. Kingsley's provides incredible value for cost, offering us an amazingly low price & free delivery. They were pretty much willing to let us design the cake as plain or fancy as we wanted, one flavor or a diff one for each layer, all for no additional cost.
The cakes themselves were decent, but not great. The only one I personally liked was the black forest, but my husband and I are foodies/home-cooks and so are very picky with our food. The cakes are very home-style & looked home-made, which they are, but in the end we ended up going with someplace a little more "elegant"-looking / with smoother frosting, etc.
We'd still highly recommend them, though, especially to anyone on a budget. -

The cake was so good. Wendy came in set up and made it look perfect. She was so efficient I think that only one person saw her come in and set it up. The flavor options, and her promptness was impeccable. We were able to find the style of cake that we wanted and sent her the picture and it looked exactly how we wanted it too. Fabulous! -

I must have sent them two dozen photos with a caption of what I liked from each picture and they were able to do exactly what I imagined. We had pink champagne cake with strawberry mouse... yum!!! I love wedding cake and they make great cake! It tastes traditional like a wedding cake should taste, but it doesn't give you a head or tummy ache afterwards. My mother in law used them for the rehearsal dinner also and both cakes turned out wonderful. They are a very pleasant couple to work with and genuinely care about your day and wanting to make what you invision perfect. I would recommend them to any family or friend. I would also use them again for any event that could use a yummy cake! -

Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts are awesome!!! At the tasting, they brought a whole array of cakes to try and every single one taste delicious! The hardest part was deciding what flavors to have in our cake. Our cake was moist and beautiful. I gave them a swatch of our wedding colors and they were able to make fondon in that color. Also, we did not have a picture to show how we wanted the cake to look, but were able to describe what we wanted and they produced a cake that was exactly what we pictured in our minds. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Prices were great, taste was to die for. -

Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts prepared birthday cakes for my twins birthday. My daughter requested a pink sparkly guitar and my son knew he wanted something Spiderman themed. From the start they were incredibly easy to work with helping me to come up with just the right design for my sons cake. Communicating entirely through email , responses from Kingsley's took no more than 24 hours and in most cases I got responses sooner. The day of they were incredibly professional showing up even before we did and the cakes looked incredible and tasted wonderful. Incredibly moist and flavorful.

I recommend them to everyone! I provided some ideas of the cakes we wanted and they were more beautiful then either of us imagined.
I always got my questions answered quickly. The cakes were very moist and very good -- almost all my guests were asking who had done the cakes. I also really liked the variety of cakes that was offered and that they make their own fondant - which was good and not tasteless as a lot of others is. -

I was so completely impressed with Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts from our first meeting. Wendy and Bob drove all the way up from Yelm to meet my husband and I in Woodinville. The tastings were amazing. She brought so many flavors. I wanted them all. You could tell that this couple put their heart and soul into making these cakes - the pride they take in to providing the best product for the bride and groom was out of this world. The cakes were fresh, home made tasting, melted in your mouth, weren't to sugary and the fillings were made from all fresh ingredients. To die for! They were dressed in their bakers uniforms both the day we met them and when they showed up for the wedding. They even made fresh cream puffs on a one days notice for my husband. I never got one but people that did were in heaven as they ate them. The day of the wedding when they arrived with the cake, I started to cry. It was gorgeous. The colors were perfect, and the cake was a masterpiece. Thank you so much to both of you! I would recommend you to any bride in a heart beat. These two go above and beyond for any bride 300%. -

Wendy did an amazing job on our cupcakes and wedding cake! She was able to recreate the exact cupcake design we wanted and it turned out super cute!! She is very easy to work with. Also the flavors of all the cupcakes were to die for! My favorite was the pineapple and coconut flavors! Tony and I couldn't have been more pleased with Kingsley's. The service was exceptional and the finished product brought a tear to my eye. We choose a vanilla cake with marionberry filling and cream cheese frosting. All of our guest continue to rave about the cake for its beauty and favor. They were able to recreate the exact cake I had in my head down to every last detail. -

Wendy is a amazingly nice person! The prices are unbeatable! I haven't yet seen my cake(my wedding is October 15th), however the cake tasting was so much fun. The cakes are delicious and so many flavors to chose from, it made it difficult for us to pick our favorite because we loved them all! When our start time for the ceremony changed she had no problem at all, she just said she understands and no problem! Wendy always responses to my emails very fast, and is always a pleasure to talk to. She made me a very happy bride and im so excited to see my cake!

I would recommend Wendy of Kingsley's Dimensional Desserts over & over again. She showed up to our cake tasting at Starbucks EARLY with FIFTEEN popular cake flavor samples--that were 1/4 of a cake. She brought a branded paper bag with them that they gave us the samples in and was organized and efficient with the booking process and keeping us on track with details she needed.
We choose a fairly simple cake design--5 tiers, 200 guests, rolled sugar texture, peonies between layers--and it came together flawlessly and also was the best cake we've ever tasted.
Favorite flavors: Pink Champagne, Pineapple, Apple Spice, White Chocolate Raspberry.

My wedding cake was exactly what I had envisioned. I had a basic pictured which I provided and Wendy was able to take my description and accomplish it. We wanted one of our fillings to be a combination of two of what she provided and she accomplished that as well -- which was well received by everyone. We received lots of compliments on the taste and look of the cake.
We were slightly concerned about the slowness of its arrival the day of the wedding, but it made it.
The only negative thing I have to say is that my MOH ordered a cake for my wedding shower and was unhappy with what was delivered. The description for the wedding shower and what was delivered did not quite coincide; but I can't speak to precisely all of the correspondence that transpired on that matter. -

The wedding cake was gorgeous although we had ordered buttercream icing and were surprised to find marshmallow fondant. The fondant was like rubber. The guests peeled it off of their cake which left little or no frosting to speak of. The cake and fillings were great. The groom's cake was dry and not the design concept we had agreed upon. I would recommend Kingley's because of their good prices, but with the warning to keep in close communication with them regarding what you really want. -

Wendy is such a talented baker and her cakes are delicious. However i had to give her a lower rating then i wanted to! Our cake tasting went as planned and the cakes were moist and had lots of flavor! However the day of the wedding I received a phone call from Wendy saying she had bad news about my cake! It tipped over! After reading fellow posts i realized that this wasn't a one time thing, and it is such a burden to their company with not having the proper equipment to deliver cakes or a safe driver. Our cake was scheduled to be delivered at 3pm and didn't get delivered till about 7pm which was past the 6pm deadline i told her to have the cake delivered and fixed. We had to postpone the cake cutting and rearrange most of our reception. The cake tasted really good, however the picture of the cake i wanted looked nothing like the cake i received. I wanted a flower design and instead it was a weird triangle shaped design. I assume the cake before they smashed it might have looked like the picture, but due to all the above i believe cake flavor alone should give them a high rating.

Upon review of Wendy's portfolio and after tasting her delicious cakes, it was apparent she would have no problem duplicating the simple design we provided for her. Unfortunately, our Wedding Cake dreams turned into a nightmare when the cake she delivered looked like it was constructed by a two year old. A wooden dowel was sticking up 1/2 inch from the top, the square layers were rounded, the entire cake leaned 15 degrees to the right, the fondant was sliding off the cake and puddling at the base, the bottom two layers were buckling under the weight of the upper two layers, and the third and fourth layers had separated by 1/2 inch in the bottom left corner. No apology was made, nor were there any attempts made to repair the cake's appearance. We were forced to cancel the traditional cake cutting as the cake was in no shape to be publicly presented. We were, however, able to serve the cake from the kitchen, and it tasted as delicious as we'd hoped. Three days after our wedding, when no effort had been made by Wendy to contact us, we emailed her photos of the cake and asked for fair compensation. Wendy states the damage to the cake occurred when the driver was forced to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting another car and offered only $100 off the $400 purchase price, stating the damage was due to "an act of God" rather than failure of the driver to maintain a safe distance between himself and the car in front of him. Negotiations continue to be pending, and Wendy has only gotten nastier, accusing me of wishing her husband (the delivery driver) had gotten into an accident "and then there would be no cake". In short, if you don't mind taking a gamble, don't care if your cake makes it to the venue in one piece, and don't mind vendors who have no problem making their problems your own, go for it. If not, do yourselves a favor and book a vendor with more experience and the chops to professionally deal with problems as they occur. -

We contacted Wendy at KDD to bake our wedding cake based off of her impressive website and overall good reviews. In the end, I wish we would have paid more attention to the negative reviews.
Our wedding cake did turn out beautiful but it was impossible to cut into. We were unable to cut the bottom tier because the bottom and middle tier were so close in size. We decided to start at the top tier which caused the entire cake to collaspe. We had to force the cake knife into the marshmellow fondant, which we weren't aware that she was using. The marshmellow fondant was like cutting into rubber. It ruined our wedding photos and none of our guests wanted to try the cake after they saw how difficult it was for us to cut into. I decided to contact Wendy after the wedding to compliment the design of the cake but voice our disappointment. We were not expecting anything in return. We just wanted to prevent this from happening to another bride and groom later on down the road. Wendy responded to our e-mail with complete disrespect to our intelligence! She blamed us for not knowing how to cut the cake, claiming that we didn't use the right kind of cake knife and said that we should have asked her for suggestions/tips to cut a fondant cake. According to Wendy, it is only her responsibility to bake the cake and not to give us special instructions. She also said we could have removed the fondant to serve the cake. In my opinion, that is completely ridiculous and the last thing that a bride and groom should be worrying about on their wedding day.
We let Wendy know that we were going to file a complaint with the BBB for her horrid customer service skills. She immediately changed her tone and offered to bake us a complientary top tier for our one year anniversary. We thought everything was fine until a few days later when we received an even nastier e-mail from Wendy. I'm assuimg that the BBB contacted her. Wendy claims that she bent over backwards for us. I don't feel that us expecting her to bake our small 3 tier wedding cake, when she was paid in full prior to pick up, is bending over backwards for us. That is her job and what is always expected of her.
She ended her most recent e-mail stating that "After working with you, I can honestly say it is customer's like you who will make me think twice about helping out last minute brides in the future". We met with Wendy 6 weeks prior to our wedding for a cake tasting. We informed her of our wedding date at this time . In my opinion if that time frame was too short , Wendy should have informed us at that time, not a week after our wedding.
Dealing with Wendy has been an absolute nightmare. My husband and I would not recommend her services to anyone due to her complete lack of respect for her customers. -

Our tasting with Wendy went great. Very yummy cake and reasonably priced. She was very quick with her email communication. On the wedding day the cake looked just as we had discussed and was beautiful....however underneath it was the wrong flavors! That is the only reason I marked this vendor down on quality and professionalism was the mistaken flavors. The cake still tasted fine, but I was pretty disappointed it wasn't mine because I had really been looking forward to the flavors we had choosen. I contacted her after the wedding and she did apologize and made us a "make-up" cake with the correct flavors. It was delicious!! But, of course it can't make up for the fact that ultimately I did not get to enjoy those flavors on my wedding day with my friends and family. I do believe it was an honest mistake though.
Updated 6/17/10. After receiving the wrong cake on my wedding day, I still contacted Wendy recently to have her bake the top tier of our cake for the tradition of eating it on our upcoming one year anniversary. At the time of our cake tasting she said that she provided this service so that couples did not have to eat year old frozen cake on their anniversary. Well, she wrote back that it would cost $15 and did not include delivery. I wrote back to her about how upset I was that I was given the wrong wedding cake and now there was a miscommunication about the fees for the anniversary cake. She has not responded back to me. I just feel upset that I missed out on my wedding day cake and now my anniversary cake too.
