Go with Diane!

Diane captured my proposal to my [now :)] fiancée and then completed an engagement session directly after. I cannot say enough about the communication leading up to the surprise, the quality of the pictures, the professionalism, and the quick turnaround to get them posted (7 posted within 24 hours; the whole gallery posted within 2 1/2 days). Diane made this experience as stress-free as possible so that I could focus on appreciating the moment. I would recommend her a million times over to anyone who who would like proposal/engagement pictures taken, or any pictures for that matter. Thank you, Diane!

You cant go wrong!

Diane did the photography for my wedding this fall. She did excellent work and made sure we were happy. She was very patient with my testing family and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Also shes affordable! Would highly recommend!!!

Savannah's gem!!

We are so pleased with Diane's passion for her profession. She truly goes above and beyond. After our session was over, Diane came back to take more photos because she thought of some good ideas she wanted to try out. That was a truly nice touch to making our day feel so special. Her heart is the key to amazing photos that we received in just one week!!

I would highly recommend Diane. She showed up early and made an effort to get all of my requested photos, even with 4 children under the age of 4! We took pedicabs around the city after our ceremony and she was able to direct the drivers on the best places to go for the prettiest photos! Best part - we had our gorgeous photos back in a week!

Diane is truly an amazing photographer! My husband and I had a small wedding with close family and friends in Savannah, GA. Diane was sure to capture all of those special and meaningful photos of both us and our guests. She was so fun and easy to be around and really made having our photos taken super enjoyable. We are so in love with our photos!

If you're thinking about hiring Diane, just do it! I searched high and low for a wedding photographer; comparing portfolios, pricing, personality, etc.

Diane is professional, sweet, extremely easy to communicate with, and so amazingly talented!!

Our family and friends can't stop going on and on about how breathtaking our photos are. She gave us the greatest gift in capturing our day so that we can cherish the memories forever.

I am extremely pleased with Diane's work! She is one of the more affordable options in the area, and the quality of her work was amazing. She had previous experience photographing the venue where we were married (Mackey House in Savannah, GA). We spoke on the phone prior to the wedding and she provided very organized methods of ensuring we got every shot I wanted. I showed her photos I had seen online of other weddings that I liked and she did her best to get those same shots. She was very understanding of my desire to keep the photography at a minimum between the ceremony and reception. I was not expecting to get the edited photos until about 6 weeks after our wedding. It was a nice surprise to receive them 2 weeks earlier than expected. She provided us with a flash drive of all of the photos. I am in love with the results. She did a great job of capturing the spirit of the day in creative ways I could not have planned for. I highly recommend Diane!

Diane is the one to go with! She was so easy to work with and the photos are absolutely beautiful! I am so glad we went with her. We had a wedding of 160 guests and she was able to take such great photos. She let us create a shot list and had great suggestions as well. I recommend having a second shooter for some of the event. The rates were very reasonable as well. We cannot complain!

She was really great and her photos have wonderful quality. She also is open to your suggestions too during the photo taking process and I found that to be very nice and we got a lot of great shots because of her willingness to work with us as well as us working with her!

For an introvert such as myself, the idea of having wedding photos was a little daunting. Diane was a perfect choice ! Not only was she friendly and professional but she made the experience worth it. I came away with a gallery of beautiful photos that I will cherish for a long time to come.

Diane does a fantastic job of finding the beauty in all of us. She even made a middle aged woman look like it was the wedding that she had hoped for her whole life! .....But that wasn't something that needed Photoshop!

Jason and I got married September 2015 on Daufuskie Island and Diane Dodd was our photographer. She was amazing!! She took amazing pictures and was also very helpful with some of the stressful events that happened through the day! We had only met her that day, but she gave the advice we needed like a long time friend. I love looking at our photos, the pictures provide a photo journal of the day and are truly stunning. And when we finally start our family, I will definitely be using her services again for family photos. You should definitely check out her portfolio, you won't be disappointed!

I was looking for a flexible and affordable photographer who could capture my fun, romantic Savannah elopement. Diane knocked it out of the park! Her photographs were beautiful and she really listened to our wants and needs. She works quickly and has a natural eye for a great shot. She allowed us to be ourselves while capturing the magic of our secret, exciting day! I am absolutely in love with my photographs. I can't say thanks enough to Diane!

We could not be happier with our experience with Diane Dodd Photography. My Fiance and I planned our destination wedding in St Simons Island, Ga. Diane we extremely responsive throughout the planning process. She asked me a lot of questions about the shots I wanted taken, timeline, locations etc (things that I had not even thought of). Her planning & organizational skills were greatly appreciated the day of the wedding as my brain was a bit all over the place! I also loved Diane's laid back approach with me on my wedding day. I am the type who doesn't necessarily "love" having her picture taken. She made me feel so relaxed and at ease the whole day. We decided to do a "first look" at the lighthouse and the quality of the pictures look like they are straight out of a magazine. Diane was soft in her approach while taking posed shots of us (and our guests). We appreciated how quick she was able to capture the right shot so that we truly were able to enjoy our cocktail hour & reception. Never ever was she intrusive to us our our guests. Diane was able to capture so many special moments that day. She is really in-tune with her audience and the photos she took are so full of love. We would certainly recommend Diane to anyone getting married in the Savannah/Golden Isles area. We know we got a great value and our photos simply blew us away!!

Diane was AMAZING! She showed up early, was very easy to work with, and instantly made us feel comfortable... she also got really great shots and was not intrusive -- half the time we'd forget she was there. Diane took our engagement pictures and our wedding photos. She was very patient with me when I had questions. She has you check off a list of must have pictures you want which was very helpful. There was not one picture "I wished" we would have got. She captured everything! I would highly recommend Diane, she is a pleasure to work with. I love, love our engagement and wedding pictures!

Diane is absolutely amazing! From our very first meeting with her she knew that she was going to do an awesome job but she totally exceeded all expectations I had! She catches all the candid moments perfectly and does an awesome job of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, sometimes you hardly even notice she is taking pictures at all! We used Diane for our destination wedding in Savannah. She was absolutely amazing. Diane was very easy to work with, very organized and had a wonderful personality. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. Planning a wedding from Chicago was stressful enough, but Diane ensured our photography needs would not be an added stress. Diane helped make our wedding day special and provided us with beautiful pictures. During the ceremony she was very discreet but still moved around and got great shots from a lot of different angles. After the ceremony she took many more great pictures both in poses and well as random shots. She even asked us what "we" wanted to do which allowed us to get a little silly and some of those pictures are some of our favorites.

Diane was so great. She encouraged me (THE BRIDE) weeks before during a photography meltdown. She helped me coordinate the events during the ceremony. She took the most beautiful pictures. Delivery was fast! - faster than all my other bride friends ;). Overall, I would recommend her 1,000 time.

After having worked for a photography company for over 20 years, I can recognize an outstanding talent when I see one. Diane was quite the professional during the entire process of our Tybee Island wedding. It was a very windy day which made getting the best lighting while trying to work with the wind extremely important. She did a fantastic job! I would recommend Diane for all photography needs.

Diane did SUCH a great job with our wedding photos! She was so nice to work with – a perfect mix of professional and personable. Our venue was a bit unique (Old Fort Jackson, a cool historic site), and Diane had never shot there, so she went by to check it out and get a feel for the place even before our very first meeting (before we’d officially hired her!) – that impressed us. Between that and seeing her beautiful portfolio, we were sold at that first meeting. Despite a somewhat gloomy, partly rainy wedding day (outdoors, of course), she managed to get some gorgeous pictures, both posed and casual. She captured all the great moments and got plenty of fantastic candid photos just as we’d hoped. On top of all that, her prices are more than reasonable for the quality of photos and service you get. We’ll definitely get in touch with her for any other photos we need in the future, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding or family photographer.

I contacted Diane when I decided to elope with my fiance. It was short notice and she was very accomodating to me for my schedule. I was so excited after seeing her photos online that she was available to do my pictures! Diane was very professional, but casual enough to make my fiance and I feel at ease during our special day. She created an online photo album for me to view and share very quickly and I love the results! Thank you, Diane!

Diane was wonderful to work with from the booking process through receiving our pictures. She arrived on the big day early, and while she took many photos, it never felt that she was in the way. She had both suggestions of photos to take, and also allowed us the flexibility to get pictures that were important to us. I was thrilled to get both color and black and white shots, but what I think sets Diane apart is her ability to capture candid moments and natural shots that really showed the emotions of the day. I would highly recommend Diane to capture your special day or event.

Wow! What a great photographer. We went to savannah for our elopement and contracted Diane to take pictures for us. She did just that for two days at multiple venues and outfits. We couldn't be more happy. She was excellent!

We had a planned elopement so we'd never met her before, but she suggested we follow each other on Pinterest so she can see the types of shots I was interested in, which I think is a great idea! Diane helped saved our wedding. Due to the previous photographer - and officiant - forgetting and mis-communicating about the time to meet for our wedding ceremony, my fiancé and I were stuck dressed up and alone in a park with no wedding. However, Diane along with a team of professionals came to our rescue last minute and not only saved the ceremony for us but preserved the memories with wonderful photographs. We could NOT have asked for a better and more sentimental wedding day, and had such fun together with Diane and Rev. Schulte. We had a destination wedding in Savannah, and Diane and our officiant - Reverend Schulte - made it feel as if we were among family.

Diane was amazing in offering a reasonable price for wonderful photography. Her cheerful attitude and wonderful personality calmed our nerves tremendously. I've never used a service like this and I'm glad my first experience was with her. The process of booking the service was effortless. We LOVED working with Di, she made sure to listen to our needs our wants which resulted in great photos and memories of our special day! Di also went out of the way to help us create a package that fit within our budget and needs. We hosted a "weekend event" with a small group of family/friends - Di made herself available for our Friday night Happy Hour toast, so we were able to capture great images. Our pictures turned out amazing and Di blended in great with the crowd, she is super easy and fun to work with!

Diane did an awesome job at our wedding. We were new to the area, and had to select a Photographer based on online reviews. She had the best reviews, and very good prices. The day of the wedding was a rainy day, but she made the best of it with us! She was early and stayed late, and found a way to capture every second of the ceremony and reception. We love every picture and will cherish them for the rest of our lives. She not only did a great job as a Photographer, but she is a great person too. Very friendly and easy to work with! She kept us updated and asked the right questions to ensure that she knew the pictures that would be the most important to us. And she was a trooper in the rain!! Thank you so much, Diane. We are so thankful for you!

I contacted Diane about less than a month before my wedding. My husband and I shaved a whole year off of our wedding date at the last minute but I am a photo addict and I wasn't going to skim on that detail. Diane was the first photographer I contacted when I thought I was getting married 04/12/14 and she was so kind and prompt which was important to me as my own wedding planner. When we changed the date to 04/12/13 Diane was the first photographer I thought of and although she had another engagement that day she fit me and Tommie into her schedule! She was on site before we were but she didn't complain. She was so kind, professional and my pictures turned out amazing! She didn't put a cap on the amount of pictures she would take of us or our guest and she didn't miss a single detail of our day! The cost was the best out of any other photographer I contacted but you can't put a price on what Diane gave us...memories! *Love Her*

Diane Dodd was a fantastic photographer for our April 2012 wedding. She was recommended to me through a friend, who had also used her services for her wedding the year prior. She was great at getting back with me in a timely manner, scouted out photo shoot locations for us, and had no problem staying longer than we had originally booked her for (we paid extra for this). She was extremely personable and flexible, a real pleasure to work with. Her rates are really reasonable to others that I researched. You definitely will not be disappointed if you choose Diane for your wedding or special event!

We were married in a square in Savannah in July and Diane was booked to take the photos during and after the ceremony.

We were very happy with the photographs and Diane's service. We let her decide on most of the photographs and she was also open to any suggestions or particular photographs we wanted.

As we do not live in America, we did not any photos developed, and as arranged, we had a cd full of photographs delivered to our doorstep within a week!!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the pictures Diane took at our wedding. They were stunning. Seriously phenomenal! We had a casual wedding in Atlanta and she captured the fun and happiness we were looking for. Diane is very easy to work with and relaxing to be around.

My fiancé and I decided to elope on the gorgeous beaches of Tybee Island Ga. Having a photographer to capture every special moment was the single most important part of planning our big day, considering that none of our family and friends would be there, they would only have the pictures. I searched online and came across Diane Dodd's page and was wowed by her talents. Immediately I assumed that she must be extremely expensive considering the quality of her portfolio. After looking through what seemed like thousands of photography websites i found myself back on Dianes page every time. I called and found out what her cost would be and thought I'd hit the jackpot. I was soo excited to have her for our special day and UNDER budget! She did a fantastic job on our pictures, was patient with me and all the posing ideas I had. Turns out my favorite pictures were the ones she took when I wasnt striking a pose. :)

We really enjoyed working with Diane. Planning our wedding from 300+ miles away, we communicated for a couple months before meeting in person to review our photo list and get to know each other. It was difficult finding vendors who were willing to travel to a bride less island for the wedding day, but not Diane. She has a can-do attitute was the most organized, responsive, and professional vendor I worked with throughout the planning process. She was very accommodating the day of the wedding, incorporating specific shots I requested, and flexible with last minute changes. Thanks Diane!

I had known Diane and seen her work for many years before I was married, and I always knew she would be my wedding photographer. I did not even look at anyone else! As expected, my experience with her was great, as was her work. We received a book of proofs that was ours to keep, as well as a disc of our photos to print at our leisure. She captured the feeling of the day perfectly, and (most importantly) made me look good in every shot!

Since then, she has also done two family sessions for us as our crew has grown. Even with a feisty little lady in our family, she has always turned out wonderful photos we will enjoy for years to come.

We really loved Diane Dodd Photography! She was very quick to respond to all of my emails and was very nice to work with. If you are looking for someone to capture all those special candid moments Diane is great. We really enjoyed looking at our gallery and seeing all the moments that we didn't even realize were captured. We are very happy with our pictures. My only suggestion is to make sure you have a very specific shot list and that you have made specific plans for your bridal pictures and with all family members you would like in the pictures.
