Ms. Lisa Franklin is a special sales person here! My sweet husband bought me a beautiful diamond & aquamarine pendant necklace, set in 14kt. white gold for Christmas. The chain was too delicate for me to feel comfortable wearing my necklace daily. We went back in today to exchange it. Ms. Franklin also helped us order my anniversary wedding band for April. Wonderful customer service all around!! -

THOUGHT I WOULD BE WITHOUT A RING FOR THE CEREMONY... BUT THEY MADE IT WORK! I can't say enough. I thought you might lose the service you get from a small shop, but I could not have been more wrong. Long story short, I had an accident and smashed my finger... ring finger on my left hand. The ring my fiance bought is beautiful and I am wearing it as engagement now, but it will be my wedding band. So beautiful, it doesnt need anything else. That said, it was damaged in the accident and I took it in the next day. "No worries" they said, we will get it to the manufacturer and repair to ensure it is perfect. Great, except it was going to be 4 to 6 weeks.... wedding is out of town in 3 weeks. And THIS IS MY WEDDING BAND TOO. They were so understanding and helpful. I could not have had better help from a best friend. They had an exact replacement for me and I left with a ring and a smile. I was lucky that my size is exactly what they had in the counter, but still.... the fact that they made it work. I am sure they would have helped solve the problem any way they could. Thank you so much DD. Im a customer forever! -

I love my rings!
I absolutely love my rings! My fiance designed my engagement ring with Diamonds Direct and it turned out beautifully. They not only helped him craft a stunning ring, but they also educated him throughout the process - creating an informed buyer. We bought our wedding rings there as well during their 20% off sale and we saved a ton of money and found rings we loved. -

Both my adult children made large purchases at DD ...in one case, there had been a small problem and the management/owner went the extra mile to compensate. They really do want to keep their customers and will do what it takes. Very good overall experience! -

My fiancé bought my engagement ring here, and he could not stop talking about how wonderful they are! Under some not so fortunate circumstances, I had to go visit Diamonds Direct because I bumped my hand and knocked the solitaire diamond off-center about a week after we had gotten engaged. I was extremely upset that I had messed up my ring, and because I thought I was going to be without my ring for some time while it was being repaired. The minute I walked into the store that Wednesday, the staff made me feel right at home. They were extremely welcoming and professional! I was prepared to leave my ring for at least a week, and the staff member helping me could tell I was upset. She assured me that the repairs needed were very common, and promised me it would be ready no later than Friday of the same week. I was extremely happy that the repairs wouldn’t take that long, so I left the store much happier than expected! I headed to run some errands, and 15 minutes later my phone rang, with Diamonds Direct telling me my ring was ready! Happy is an understatement!! Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are! I would recommend them to anyone!-

Diamond's Direct helped my fiance (now husband) pick out the PERFECT engagement ring for me! Came here looking for a wedding band for my future husband. After visiting two other stores, Diamonds Direct turned out to be exactly what I needed. They had the largest selection of quality brands and a wide price range for different budgets. Prices overall were considerably lower than at other stores such as the large mall chains. In store I noted two or three rings I liked, and later when I was ready to buy Emily Gray texted me pictures of those rings to help me refresh my memory and make a decision without having to make a two hour drive back to the store. She was so patient as I deviated over my decision, even when I made a slight last minute change to my order the day after I had placed it. I was able to buy it during one of their designer showcase sales (which Emily gave me a heads-up about while I was in the store), so even better! Less than two weeks later, my ring arrived, customized to my selections and exactly as I wanted it. I couldn't have had a better experience and will definitely go back to Diamonds Direct and Emily Gray for future jewelry shopping. -

Diamonds Direct has been a pleasure to work with. I had very particular tastes for our rings and they have been able to meet every requirement. Plus, all their diamonds are GIA certified with each certificate number on the diamond itself! They don't pull the wool over your eyes and are very clear cut and capable of meeting all our needs and most importantly budget!

I absolutely love this store! My fiance and I were referred there by a friend. We stopped in one day in the late afternoon and they were very busy. Despite the fact that they were busy, and we were dressed pretty sloppily (jeans and old tshirts), we were still greeted immediately and had a salesperson sent over to us. Our sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. We knew we wanted to look at a certain designer and we had a certain price point. She directed us to this designer and rings in our price range, but she also showed us some other options from similar brands. In the end, we were able to find the ring of my dreams. It turned out to be the designer I had come in to look at, but not the style ring I originally thought I wanted. With the purchase of my ring, the small stones in the band are insured and I also can get my ring cleaned and rhodium plated at no extra cost. The only problem I have doesn't actually have to do with the store itself. We live about an hour and a half away so it's just a little inconvenient for me to get there for repairs or to have it rhodium plated. But that's what I get for choosing a jeweler so far away. :) Another thing I love about the store is that I have been able to create a "wish list" of jewelry I want, and my husband can just come in and see what's on my "wish list" and purchase something without me even knowing. -

My engagement ring and both of our bands were purchased from Diamonds Direct. My engagement ring is absolutely beautiful, and our bands are top quality. Diamonds Direct is a store at which you can receive prompt service. They offer free ring cleanings when needed, which is a nice bonus. We had some problems sizing my engagement ring to the correct size because my fingers kept swelling, and Diamonds Direct was very willing to help. The even added on sizing beads to my for free. -

My engagement band is absolutely beautiful, and I love it! Each time we went to the store, the people who worked there were very professional and respectful; they do whatever they can to help you get what you want for a price that you can afford. They do a very good job of educating you on what to look for in a diamond and in a ring as well.
The only complaint would be a little hiccup during the shipping process. When my fiance ordered the ring, it was made and then never actually shipped. So he was in a bit of a panic as to where my ring was (because he already had a date in mind for when he was going to ask me)
This too was handled professionally and with flexibility, though. They were able to ship the ring directly to him last minute instead of him picking in up in the store.
Overall, very good experience with Diamonds Direct. -

My husband got a really great deal on a gorgeous diamond- I still get compliments on how sparkly and beautiful my ring is....even when it's been so long since it's been cleaned! By the way, they love to have their customers drop in and get their jewelry cleaned....it only takes about 10 minutes and it looks just like it did the day my husband proposed! Love it. -

My fiance took over an hour to pick out his band and the girl just kept going through things with him. We decided to wait for their next sale and then went back and he spent 45 minutes picking out a new ring and the man was still patient. And every time we went in they offered to clean my ring. It sparkles and shines! They are a wonderful group of people! -

They were incredibly helpful while shopping for our engagement ring and wedding bands. We shopped many times (we're very indecisive) and they always were helpful and not pushy. We looked at multiple stores in Birmingham and just loved the huge selection of Diamonds Direct & the amazing value for the quality! On our first visit we had an amazing man, Yani helping us out. He showed us everything we wanted to see & answered all questions we had. My (now fiancé) didn't want to place an order for my ring with me there, so Yani saved all of our information, the ring, the size, my metal/nickel allergies etc in the computer. When my fiancé went back to order the ring, Yani was out of town, so he was given to another associate. The associate ordered my ring 2 sizes too small, so when we got engaged the ring did not fit at all!! We took it back to Diamonds Direct the next day only to find out there was no way to size this Henri Daussi ring that much & that they would have to order me an entirely new ring, which would take another 6-8 weeks!!! Of course I was crushed! Luckily for me the new ring came in in 6 weeks rather than 8 weeks. When it was time for us to purchase both of our wedding bands we went back to Diamonds Direct & were given the same sales associate (since we got my engagement ring from him). We ordered both bands that day, with slight customizations that were ok'd by the vendors. Well, both of our rings came in wrong!!! Luckily mine could be fixed in their in house repair shop, but my fiancés was the wrong ring all together! Then when they reordered his ring, it was ordered in the wrong size, but now it is too close to the wedding to get a new one in time! So now he has to wear a ring that is too big on our wedding day and through the honeymoon. They will reorder a new once he gives them that ring back after the honeymoon. I cant believe 4 out of 4 rings were ordered wrong! If it weren't for the great price & beautiful rings, I would not recommend DD. But they do fix all of their mistakes no problem. We'll still use them for future purchases, just not that associate! I think this was his issue more than Diamonds Direct issues. -

My fiance got my ring at DD. It is a beautiful 1.2 round solitaire in a gold Tiffany setting. The initial diamond they tried to sell him hard on was flawed but they told him it was nearly flawless. Before purchasing that first diamond, he requested a loop and when he looked at it, could easily see a giant crack in the diamond. He demanded to speak to another sales person and they brought out more diamonds. This time, he didn't listen to whatever they tried to push, and from what he told me, they didn't because he seemed to know what he was talking about (his grandpa was a diamond dealer in his day and had given him some pointers before he went shopping). Jon, found a diamond in his price range that was almost nearly flawless, F color, and excellent clarity and in my opinion, got a fair price. Jon said they try to make you tell them what you are looking to spend when you walk in the door. Don't give them a number because just like any person in sales, when you find the diamond you want, surprise surprise, that one is just $1 under your high limit!
Now, I went to DD myself to have my ring cleaned before engagement photos. I got absolutely no service and no attention. Not until I pretended to be interested in a ring under the glass did someone pay me any mind and then she seemed quite annoyed when I asked to have my ring cleaned. She said she would have to "find the paperwork" and never returned. I wandered around another 15 minutes trying to get help. Then finally a gentleman helped and put my ring in a little brown bag and carried it away out of my sight to have it cleaned. This is the first time I have ever had jewelry professionally cleaned and it scared the living daylights out of me that he just took it away and behind closed doors. He told me it would take 20 minutes and I told him I would wait. He disappeared. After 50 min I finally found someone else to retrieve my ring. Horrible customer service but fair prices if you shop smart. -

A ring isn’t a ring without its diamond ❤️ Which they can’t provide when Tabitha said they aren’t guaranteed to last. It told me the truth this is the only diamond store that had said this to me. Go to Kay’s or anywhere or get a fake! -

I broke my engagement and I am now trying to sell the diamond I bought from Diamonds Direct. I paid $8500 for the ring. I have had 3 offers for the ring from $1500-1800. Every place that has offered me money for the ring said the diamond grades at a lower Clarity and Color than listed on the EGL certification. DO NOT BUY from here. -

I would not recommend this jewler to anyone. They appraised my rings wrong and let my fiance's ring sit in their safe for a week. Not to mention we had to make 4 separate trips up there. -

I am livid! My boyfriend purchased a necklace for me from here for my birthday. I took the necklace in last week to have the chain extended and the clasp repaired. The people were nice enough but their computers were apparently down. I spoke with Christina G. at the repairs desk about what needed to be done and she assured me that it would be ready by today. I live pretty far from there so I decided to call ahead and make sure it was ready before wasting a trip out there. The receptionist asked for my information to see if she could check the status for me. She was unable to locate me or anything about the necklace in the computer system. When I mentioned that the computers were down the day I came in she said "oh that makes sense" and attempted to contact Christina who was at lunch. I was assured that the message would be forwarded to Christina and I would be called back. Several hours later I STILL hadn't heard anything and called back. The same receptionist told me that now She was with another customer and would call me back. Its now been another hour and no phone call. I don't know if they lost my necklace or just forgot to send it off and are avoiding telling me. I'm nervous and mad because this necklace means so much to be and I will be devastated if something happened to it. If I haven't received some sort of update TODAY I will go to corporate and leave this exact review on every online forum I can. -
