Our reception at the Diamond Jo was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing (and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding day). The room looked beautiful, the staff was amazing, and it went off without a hitch thanks to the work of the people there.
From our first meeting with Olivia, the event coordinator there, all the way to the day after, we were taken care of. She was genuinely invested in running our event smoothly, getting us everything we wanted, and most importantly in our overall happiness. This was not another job for her; she truly cared about us. The venue itself was flexible, helpful, and very reasonably priced! They work with you to specify bar/food needs, scheduling; really anything you need. We offered guests a choice between pork or chicken, and I heard raving reviews on both. Truly do not have a bad thing to say; everyone in the Dubuque area needs to host an event here! -

The Diamond Jo was absolutely amazing! It decided to not only rain but pour the morning of our wedding day. Our ceremony was outside at a different location. We called and they set up the ceremony inside and it was everything we could imagine! The venue was exactly was I had imagined. The staff were excellent. I would recommend the Diamond Jo to anyone getting married in the future!! -

Great reception venue!
We couldn't be happier with the Diamond Jo! There were several comments about how delicious the food was. All of the staff was very professional, helpful, friendly and flexible.
Olivia is great to work with! Last minute someone booked the room on Friday night so we could no longer decorate on Friday. That night after that event, Olivia stayed late and helped decorate to help make our day easier and less stressful on Saturday morning. She truly goes above and beyond to make you day special!
I would highly recommend the Diamond Jo! -
