    Creative, Professional - Highly Recommend

    DFW provided the lighting design for our wedding - and it was so cool! Kaite coordinated with our planner to bring the vision to life. The lighting added a romantic feel to the whole night. It was so beautiful. Her team is so thorough - highly recommend!

    Simply Incredible to Work With!

    I was lucky enough to work with Katie and the DFW Team for my wedding on May 14, 2022. Katie did a massive install in our tent along with lighting, privacy screen, some draping for a ceremony rain plan, etc.. My family referred to Katie as our saving grace because the DFW team literally saved our wedding day vision.

    The location where we got married has very strict rules, many of which centered on the use of equipment on the lawn where the tent would be going. When we realized this after already designing the whole concept for the tent, it was instant panic on how in the world any vendor would be able to install without the forklifts, we really thought we had to scratch the idea. Then came DFW, saving the day. We called Katie, met with her at the venue for a walk through and she drew up a plan and made it happen. I still to this day have absolutely no idea how they installed the piece without the use of the heavy-duty lifts, but somehow they pulled off a miracle. The install was INCREDIBLE!! It was massive, it was jaw-dropping and it was the star of the tent.

    My dad worked closely with Katie during the planning process and every single time we called Katie for something we needed last minute, she was right on top of it. It was always, yes, absolutely, not a problem. Flexible and Accommodating does not encompass how wonderful Katie was throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, never for a second leaving us to feel like DFW couldn't conquer anything that was thrown at them with absolute grace and professionalism.

    Katie, we'll never be able to thank you enough for all that you did for us to bring our wedding day vision full circle. My entire family is forever grateful for your hard work and kindness in working with us. You are truly one of a kind.

    My dream flowers!

    Katie and Marlee are amazing to work with! They did the flowers for our wedding and we could not have been happier. Katie said the flowers I wanted were out of season, but she made it work anyway, she added some flowers that were perfect! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs design, planning, decor, custom anything! They are so creative and accommodating. They made everything perfect!

    DFW provided the flowers, lighting, and overall design for our wedding. Their work was beautiful! Marlee was professional and easy to work with. We appreciated her flexibility and willingness to make adjustments. DFW’s designs perfectly matched the theme and overall feel we were going for at our wedding. We recommend DFW without hesitation.

    I can't even begin to describe how LUCKY I was to work with DFW event design. I would recommend them to ANYONE for the best, care free, wedding planning experience. I used DFW for both full planning and design and it was WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. A friend recommended Katie Robinson and her team and I submitted a inquiry and heard very quickly from Marlee. I worked with Marlee for many months with managing my budget, finding a venue, hiring all my vendors, and she literally took care of every single detail. DFW made it so easy -- they have impeccable style and taste, and produced the most amazing weekend for all our family and friends. Because we had the full planning, they were there from start to finish and my wedding day was an absolute dream. If anything went wrong, I don't know about it!

    After my wedding, all I could do was gush about how incredibly amazing they were. I had a friend who was having well, not the best luck with designers/decorators and her wedding was FAST approaching. I mean, FAST. I quickly gave her their information and I am in awe of what an INCREDIBLE job they did for her wedding and how beautiful and unique their decor was. I paid it forward and they were SO HAPPY.

    DFW truly understands what you want and elevates it to the NEXT LEVEL.

    The team at DFW Event Design was fantastic. We had a non traditional wedding with some pretty unique requests and Katie and Marlee accommodated every single one of them with a great attitude. It was apparent that they did A LOT of work behind the scenes and helped to shield us from the stress involved with planning a wedding. There are simply are too many things they did well to list them all, so we will simply say: if you are considering hiring a wedding planner, do it. And if you’re going to do it, hire Katie.

    Perfection professional and very pleasant to work with. When my husband and I were stressing about all my he details of our wedding we decided it was time to hire a planner. DFW planning was the perfect fit at the right price. Katie and her staff were very detailed oriented, they knew what we needed and executed everything to our standards. We can not thank them enough.     Katie and her team nailed it! I had very little left in my budget and very little time left for our wedding and decided at the last minute to look into hanging decor for our dance floor. We chose to do a mix of hanging lanterns and tissue flowers. While on location getting ready I decided to sneak a peak at the space and was thrilled. And it looked absolutely stunning when the whole space was finished with our tables and flowers. It just finished the space off perfectly! So so happy with how it turned out. And, also incredibly happy with Katie and how easy it was to work with her. DFW is great. If you are on the fence about booking them, do it!

    DFW and their team were AMAZING! Nicole did an incredible job helping me plan, and was a great asset at all of our vendor meetings! Our wedding day couldnt have gone any better, i wasnt stressed or worried at all because i knew that whatever happened they could handle it!!

    This vendor is everything they advertise and more! I would (and do) recommend DFW to anyone and everyone. I really loved how they had a variety of packages that they are willing to customize to fit your individual needs. I never planned on having a weeding planner but now, I cannot imagine how I would have done without. I LOVE DFW!

    We used DFW Event Planning for our NYE wedding and they were nothing short of amazing. Through the whole process Katie & Nicole were so responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married! I was worried at first about the additional cost of hiring a Wedding Planner, however the money spent was well worth it. Having them to consult with helped us to save more in vendor costs/rentals/decorations than we spent on the cost of planning. Also, I could not RAVE about Nicole the day of more. Nicole was the first to show up and the last two leave - she was absolutely AMAZING! As a perfectionist, I can 100% say Nicole was the reason I was able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy our day - she had it all under control. DFW is amazing - don't think twice - use them!!

    The decision to hire DFW Event Design + Planning for decor, lighting, and draping was one of the best decisions we made. They are truly a one stop shop for everything decor! The venue looked beautiful. Katie and the team made our vision a reality, and we could not have asked for a better team : )

    If we could give DFW more than 5 stars, we would. Nicole was recommended by our venue, and came through in a big way. From our first meeting, she was organized, easy to contact, and had great suggestions for wedding planning amateurs. She took over all vendor coordination, and helped us develop an awesome day-of timeline that kept everything running smoothly. I truly believe that Nicole and the DFW team allowed us to enjoy our wedding and stay in the moment- we were confident that things would run smoothly in their very capable hands.

    We worked with Katie and Nicole and we are so thankful that we hired them! Initially, we did not anticipate hiring a wedding coordinator at all, but as our big day drew nearer, we started to worry about who would handle all of the details of our wedding on the big day. We brought on DFW one month prior to our wedding and it was one of the best decisions that we made throughout the wedding planning process. Both Katie and Nicole were a complete pleasure to work with and made sure that our wedding went smoothly and was a stress-free amazing experience. In particular, if you are getting married at the Franklin Institute, which was our venue, hiring DFW is a must. Katie is very experienced and really knows the staff and the logistics there, which was a huge help. DFW also helped with our lighting, as their sister company does beautiful event designs as well. Thank you Katie, Nicole and DFW for helping to make our wedding the best day ever!

    Katie and Luke are, in my humble and happily-wedded opinion, magicians! Connecting with us from our very first meeting, we were instantly confident that we wanted to work with them to plan our special day. Over the span of 3 months, Katie and her team diligently, patiently and creatively helped us realize the vision for a simple, elegant and fun wedding and reception. They worked with our vision and greatly improved it for a very traditional Indian ceremony followed by a gorgeously personalized reception at the Ben Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to fabulous decor, lighting, sound, centerpieces, etc. and organizing logistics for transportation of our guests and belongings back and forth between the hotel and the venue, Katie went above and beyond in making sure we were happy, comfortable and enjoyed every minute of the process and day. From making sure the water bottles for the welcome boxes had perfectly centered custom labels attached to mailing in our marriage license after the ceremony, we couldn't have asked for more. Anyone would be lucky to have the DFW Planning team involved in their wedding!

    We hired Katie for helping us keep on track during the planning of the wedding. Each month she would let us know what was needed for the upcoming months and gave us recommendations for various vendors . She was there for any questions we had during the planning, checked our contracts, kept in touch with vendors especially the last couple months before the big day. Was with us the entire day of the wedding with her assistant to take care of keeping everything organized. Katie has an upbeat personality and is very calming. She handles everything very professionally. Great to work with and highly recommended.

    "Wow", is about all I can say about DFW Event Planning. Planning a wedding from 3000 miles away was challenging and as we got closer to the event - we knew we needed to have someone help us. DFW to the rescue. 4 weeks before the wedding and our lighting vendor wanted to do everything verbal with no contract and wouldn't meet before the event. When you're spending almost $10,000 on lighting that simply doesn't work. DFW was able to secure a new lighting company who was happy to meet before the event and had fantastic ideas about how to achieve our desired results. DFW was there to handle everything we needed and we couldn't have done it without them. If you're reading this review, congratulations - you've just found the BEST Wedding Planner in the Philadelphia area. Hire them now!

    We cannot say enough about Katie and her staff. From the first day we met with her we knew we were in great hands. Not only did she plan the perfect night for us but she did it WITH us. She listened to what we wanted, and what we didn’t want. She was patient, understanding, and supportive. When we were looking for vendors, she found the right people for us to work with. When the big day came we knew that everything would run smooth and we were right. We were able to enjoy every minute of our big day with not a single worry. Having Katie and DFW plan our wedding was the best decision we ever made.

    I've put off writing this review because I can't even put into words how much Katie did for us throughout the wedding planning process. I met with several other wedding planners, but did not feel comfortable until we met Katie. We had fun from our very first meeting, and she continued to make planning fun through the last minute of our wedding.

    We had already booked our venue prior to hiring Katie, but she helped us select every other vendor from there on out. She knows almost every vendor in the area, and will help you find the best at a great price. If you're thinking you can't afford a wedding planner, you're wrong. Katie more than made up for her own fees by negotiating contracts with vendors for us and helping us find great vendors within our budget. She was incredibly patient as I had a very difficult time with each decision (I'm super indecisive).

    When you book with Katie, she doesn't charge by the phone call or meeting. She will be there to help you every step of the way. I called her at all random times, and with ridiculous questions and she was always there for me. And with every phone call, she made me laugh and I knew that everything would be fine with my wedding. She even dealt with my crazy mother, and her personality allows her to deal with even the most difficult people.

    Everybody said on the day of my wedding, I was the most relaxed bride. That's all thanks to Katie - I didn't have a single worry on the day of my wedding. I know little things went wrong, but she and her staff handled anything that came up and I didn't even have to know about it. If you're reading this review, you can stop hunting around. Just call Katie - you will be in good hands.

    One day I was talking to a random girl in the nail salon about my wedding and she told me the best thing she ever did for her wedding was hire a day of wedding planner. She was very convincing and her words stuck in my head throughout my planning process. When it came time to look for a wedding planner I searched on wedding wire and came across Katie. I did interview her and 3 other planners; my fiancé and I knew right away that Katie was the one. Well, like the girl at the nail salon said it was the best thing I ever did. Katie was amazing! She took care of so many details that I didn’t even know about until after the wedding and was there to go above and beyond for whatever I asked. I cannot speak anymore highly of her to friends and family. I never write reviews but she is worth writing a review for. Do yourself a favor and hire Katie; I know all my friends are going to after my experience… even if I have to pay for her myself for them!

    Everyone tells you that things will go wrong on your wedding day. I had Katie and her team and NOTHING went wrong and we had the most amazing wedding! I could not have done it without her! I highly recommend DFW planning for all the brides out there that want to ensure a perfect wedding day. Katie is the best!

    Katie, our planner and president of DFW, is more than a delight to work with and listens to exactly what you want. She is open minded to your suggestions, but is not afraid to tell you if it is a bad idea or she would not recommend doing it - after all she is the professional. We were living 4.5 hours away from Philadelphia, where our wedding was, and Katie made sure she was available for a long day of planning on Sundays. We would definitely recommend her services and would definitely use her again for any other event we are planning.

    DFW Event Planning (Katie Robinson) was a godsend!!

    We truly were a guest at our daughter's wedding and it was a pleasure to do business (although it hardly felt like we 'were doing business'!) with Katie. She added wonderful insight into a world where we absolutely had no experience and made it fun as well!! Our wedding went off without a hitch and our guests have not stopped raving about the wonderful time they had -- and we have Katie to thank for that!!
