Dewittforlove is the sweetest couple that can take some killer shots! Shannon is like a friend you really trust and her husband Brandon is very fun! They make you feel right at home. They have a true eye and experience for making you look good, and for making those memories you want captured. I chose them because I really wanted a clean editorial feel for my engagement session and wedding day and they definitely delivered! 10 out of 10!!!! -

We are from out of state and they even made time to meet up with us and do a mini photo shoot when we were in town before the wedding! Shannon and Brandon are, without a doubt, the absolute best at what they do and the kindest souls. Right from our initial conversation, it was clear that Dewitt for Love was the perfect fit for us – their candid style photographs were simply stunning, and Shannon and Brandon's infectious energy and warm personalities sealed the deal. Our engagement shoot was so much fun, leaving us beaming for weeks. After meeting them (and getting back the engagement gallery of our dreams!) we were confident that they would not only deliver breathtaking images but also bring fantastic energy to our wedding day. And they absolutely delivered! We were blown away with our wedding album with over a thousand pictures, it allowed us to relive every single moment of the day. They captured the emotions, the details, everything PERFECTLY. Our guests couldn't stop raving about them either. Having the Dewitts at our wedding on 11/18/23 was the best decision we made. We can't recommend them enough!! -

I could write a novel about the ways that Shannon and Brandon enhanced our wedding experience. Not only is their work stunning, thoughtful, and truly unique—these are just two phenomenal people in a class of their own. From my first interaction with Shannon I felt I found a confidant and true support system, the likes of which are rare in a vendor relationship. She and Brandon consistently went out of their way to extend support, and loving energy far beyond the hours of our wedding day. On some of my most stressful days, Shannon reached out with genuine care, concern, comfort and encouragement, which was NOT in the description of their services and felt like a virtual handhold on days when no photos were being taken at all. There were many days a text from Shannon brought a tear to my eye and a sigh of relief that everything was going a-okay.
And the wedding day—my goodness! If you’re looking for a photography team that is so talented and symbiotic you’ll hardly notice them, but so warm and genuine that when you do you’ll be met with warmth, smiles, and quiet support, don’t look any further. Shannon and Brandon have the talent of finding a beautiful moment between the two of you that you didn’t even realize took place.
I’ve never had a more positive experience with a vendor or service team in my adult life. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been what it was without the two of them. Genuinely incredible people. You won’t regret it. -

I don’t even know where to begin with this review because the Dewitts are THAT talented and I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking at the reviews, I trust you can already tell how skilled they are and how stunning their work is, but what you need to also know is how much value they will add to your wedding experience as a whole!
For starters, Shannon is a details QUEEN. When we first reached out, she talked to us and went over the whole process, answered every question expertly - not only about photography but anything and everything wedding related. She put together a nearly finished photography timeline a year and a half before the wedding based on this initial call, which ended up being a life saver down the road.
As for Brandon, his energy is contagious in the best way. If you want someone who will bring the party, make everyone feel comfortable and bring out those natural smiles, he’s your guy! Together they’re the perfect team.
Two of my favorite days with my husband were spent with the Dewitts - the day we took engagement photos and our wedding day - and honestly they have such a special place in our hearts. Hire them ASAP. Not only will you have AMAZING photos (their portfolio speaks for itself) but they’ll enhance your whole experience is which they also happen to document perfectly. -

I can’t stop raving about Dewitt for Love!!! They are so talented and so professional; I am so grateful we got to work with them! My husband and I have never taken photos together before our engagement – so we started with an engagement shoot. The hour FLEW BY and felt so easy and natural – the energy that Shannon and Brandon bring is so easy-going and so fun, yet, very professional and they knew EXACTLY what to do and how to get it done quick! On our wedding day, they were PHENOMENAL! Everyone loved them and we got so many compliments on the photographers! Highly recommend and seriously couldn’t imagine working with anyone else! We booked Brandon and Shannon for our Feb. 2021 wedding more than a year in advance. We knew planning a wedding could be stressful and chaotic, but never did we envision we would have to do so during a global pandemic. Thankfully we had Brandon and Shannon on our side. From our initial meetup to our engagement photos to the actual big day, the Dewitts were extremely professional, communicative, and just a ton of fun to work with, even when many details were up in the air due to COVID. When they are behind the lens it's very obvious they are in their element, a talent that is further amplified by their off-the-charts chemistry. Several guests commented to us how impressed they were by not only our final photos, but how well Brandon and Shannon directed "traffic" and the energy they brought to the day. While we don't recommend getting married during a pandemic, we can't recommend booking Brandon and Shannon enough for your wedding. -

I cannot express how much I loved working with Shannon and Brandon. These two are the best friends you never knew you had, and they made our wedding day more perfect than it ever could have been. We first worked with them during our engagement shoot in January 2020 for a planned wedding two months later, but due to Covid, we rescheduled the big day until April 2021. My husband and I never had professional photos taken together before, and working with them during the engagement shoot was so easy and comfortable...and fun!
Fast forward to our big day a few weeks ago, and everything with our photography went PERFECTLY. Shannon is the biggest hype girl you could ever had, and she made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride to ever grace the planet. LOL, I laugh, but it is seriously true. Shannon & Brandon are the best!
I'm convinced these two are absolutely the best in the biz. Shannon & Brandon are SO fun to work with and their work is amazing. Our wedding was on 3/27/21 so we were planning and hosting it all during the covid-19 pandemic. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot and were constantly preparing for the worst-case scenario for our wedding day. Shannon & Brandon were so communicative, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. In fact, we almost had to reschedule our engagement shoot for a second time when we were unable to access our original location at the last minute. They immediately started researching and connecting with other photographers in their network to compile a list of possible alternate locations for us so that we could still take photos that day.
We had so much fun partying with them on our day - it was like they were two guests we had invited instead of our photographers! My brother-in-law and his fiance loved them so much that they hired them for their own wedding... we're super excited to get to "hang out" with Dewitt for Love again next year!

Maryland COVID bride here, planned the initial destination wedding for November 2020. Found Shannon Dewitt online and asked her if she had done any weddings at my venue of choice, Shepard's Beach Resort. She had done weddings there because and sent me samples of her work from there. All I can say is WOW, we fell in love. She was on the more expensive side but I truly feel that her work was worth it! Shannon and her husband Brandon work together as a team. They even went as far as to meet us for lunch the last time we were in Florida. Sooo friendly and cool and could def see us all being friends if we didn't live so far away!
We had to reschedule due to COVID for today, April 3rd, 2021. Shannon was understanding and allowed us to reschedule our wedding to this date.
Just over a couple months ago, my husband and I found out that we were expecting our first child. The anxiety of COVID along with our doctors recommendations unfortunately meant we had to cancel our rescheduled wedding all together. Shannon was understanding of this and for that we are so thankful!! She wished us well wishes for our future baby and told us to reach out in the future any time we come back to Florida. She was super helpful and communicative throughout the whole planning process and really made me feel comfortable about the whole planning process. I wish we got to use Shannon and her services in the end, but know we will be using her in a few years for our vow renewal ceremony in Clearwater!! -

I cannot recommend Shannon and her husband enough. My fiancé and I did engagement photos in St. Pete. She were very responsive from the get-go, was super flexible when we had to change dates and times at the last minute, and her and her husband were so fun to work with. They are professional but at the same time, are laid back, down to earth, and easy to work with - my fiancé is not a fan of posed photos and he actually enjoyed our photo shoot! It did not seem awkward or posed at all, which both my fiancé and I loved. We wanted our dog in some of our photos and they were amazing on working with her and knowing how to get good photos with a pup!!
The photos themselves? GORGEOUS. I am low key obsessed with every single photo they took. The angles, the lighting, everything is beautiful. She finished our album in a timely fashion as promised. She even helped me resize photos so I could put them on our wedding website.
TLDR - Professional, responsive, flexible, down to earth photographer with amazing photography skills. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Shannon and Brandon!!!! -

Wow… what can I say. Dewitt for Love has been an absolute delight to work with from day one. I stumbled upon this couple right after getting engaged. Shannon basically took us under her wing as we were a couple who had never had professional photos together before. She sat us down and got a clear understanding of what type of photos we wanted and created a fun & comfortable environment for us to thrive in! Since the engagement pictures ended up so fantastic, we quickly booked her & her husband for our March 2022 wedding. These two went beyond just the amazing photography - they told us where to go, where to look, and how to get our best pictures. In a day filled with chaos, it was exactly what we needed. The photos were exactly as expected - gorgeous and breath taking. We are now able to re-live the best day of our lives over & over. We can’t thank the Dewitts enough for their kindness and talent for capturing the most special moments that we will truly cherish forever. -

The absolute sweetest and most talented couple!
I cannot say enough great things about Shannon and Brandon. If I could give them 100 stars I absolutely would. After what had been a very hectic, unpredictable, and stressful last few months (and even after ultimately having to postpone our wedding 6 months) they were extremely accommodating, professional, and understanding through it all. When we were finally able to have our big day, they were just as excited to be shooting us as we were to finally be celebrating. They were an very important part of our day, and made not only my husband and I super comfortable, but also the bridal party, family members, and wedding guests as well. Everyone noticed just how hard working and great they are at what they do, and we recieved a ton of compliments as well. They not only take absolutely AMAZING photographs, but they essentially helped the entire day and night flow wonderfully. They absolutely made the day go smoother with their guidance and professionalism! I was genuinely sad when we had to say goodbye at the end of the evening! I can’t say enough about the two of them, and cannot reccomend them enough for anyone looking for a photographer. I feel so lucky that we picked them to capture our special day for so many reasons. If you want the absolute best of the best, look no further than this amazing couple! You will not go wrong in choosing Dewitt for Love Photography! -

Shannon and Brandon are the best in the biz!!! I have admired their work from the day I met them! Just received our gallery and I am in tears of how perfect they captured our day!!! The most gorgeous photos we will be able to look back on for the rest of our lives. Not only are the photos perfect, they worked me to make sure we get all the shots we wanted while also ensuring there was enough time for solo pics of my husband and I. Shannon and Brandon have the most genuine personalities and fit right in with our family and friends making everyone comfortable during picture time. Shannon and Brandon Dewitt are not just great photographers (because they 100% are) they're great people! They are fun and so easy to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process and the day of. We had so much fun with them during our wedding day! My husband wasn't able to meet them prior to our day, which I was a little nervous about, but Brandon and Shannon were so easy-going which made him feel so comfortable!
The biggest reason I would recommend them to anyone, is because they tailor their style to your venue, theme, and overall feeling of the day. Every time I look at my pictures, I'm transported back to the day, which is why we all want pictures right? One other recommendation I have is to have a engagement shoot with them, I didn't have one, which I'm okay with but I would recommend one because you are able to get to know Shannon and Brandon better and they're able to know you and your unique style and personality. :) If you made it this far into my review, basically choose Dewitt for Love, you will NOT regret it! :)) -

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of having Shannon and Brandon as our wedding day photographers. We would recommend them to anyone! First off, Shannon is so organized and made us a great timeline weeks prior to the wedding that left us feeling so prepared before and during our wedding. They are both so personable and fun to work with. They really know how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera even if you’re the most camera shy! And they have a great eye for what will make a fabulous photo. Just look at their work and it speaks for itself. They arrived on time on the wedding day, and were both so cheerful all day long even though it was a very long day!! If you're considering Shannon and Brandon as your photographers, do yourself the biggest favor and book them right now! They have amazing ratings and reviews for a reason, and anyone who spends just five minutes speaking with them can see that they have clearly found their true calling. My now husband and I were apprehensive about finding the right photographer since neither of us are super comfortable having our pictures taken (does the phrase "what do I do with my hands?!" sound familiar?) but we felt so at ease after just one conversation with Shannon and Brandon, and they made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. Our pictures were absolutely stunning and our families and guests also raved about how amazing and unobtrusive they were the entire time while getting all their shots. Seriously, we can't say enough great things about these two amazing people (yes they are incredible photographers, but they are also just all around awesome humans) and hiring them as your photographers will be one of the best decisions you make for such an important day! -

If you look up "beautiful bad-ass camera ninjas" online and the first thing that pops up isn't a picture of Brandon and Shannon of Dewitt for Love photography, then we should probably just cancel the internet. This incredible husband + wife duo were everything we could have possibly asked for and more when looking for someone to capture our big day in pictures. From the moment we met them at our engagement shoot, it felt like we were meeting up with old friends instead of freshly-picked wedding photographers. The entire day was catered to by them - including deftly compensating for a crutch-equipped groom with a broken leg. The entire evening was brilliant, and all expertly captured by the Dewitt duo. Several times we would look at pictures after the fact and legitimately wonder "how did they get that shot?!" They were personal, they were professional, they were perfect. 11/10. Would recommend. -

Shannon & Brandon are truly some of the most talented and AMAZING human beings. I did not even feel like they were a vendor - I honestly felt like they were guests at my wedding taking photos. So many of my friends and family told me how awesome the photographers were who didn't even know them! When Shannon and I first met, we had a glass of wine and chatted for 4 hours!!!!! (Not sure she's advertising that since there's probably not enough wine and time for everyone LOL) but the point is she really takes the time to get to know her brides and listen to what they're looking for from their photos. I told her detail shots were super important to me, and she got some really amazing and creative photos of all the details, especially the florals and our reception!! The day goes by so fast, so it's hard to take the time to appreciate all the work you've put into the planning. She made sure to capture all of those moments for me. Our wedding was at Armature Works while a few other weddings were going ON TOP OF Kentucky Derby events (I know, right?!). The venue was insanely packed, and it was a super hot day. She and Brandon handled the challenge with grace, and we could not be happier with our photos! Obviously, Shannon & Bandon's work speaks for itself, but they are so much more than just a vendor!! BOOK IMMEDIATELY! -

Wow! Where do I even begin? Shannon was an absolute pleasure to work with! I sent out information requests to various photography vendors and I knew from the first email response that she was the one (I didn’t even have to meet her in person)! She’s so bubbly and happy via email, I just had a feeling we would get along with her in person (and we did!). I can’t get over how easy she was to work with, and SO supportive the day of the wedding. She really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and our pictures turned out fabulous (I was pretty sure we would turn out looking like potatoes LOL – but boyyyy was I wrong!!!!!!). We worked out the timeline the week before, and she arrived earlier than expected and did not waste any time! She is truly amazing, talented, and a great person! Amazing, talented, professional
The photographers with Dewitt for Love are true artist. They truly know how to capture your vision and make it more than you even thought possible. I recently hired Dewitt for Love for my Halloween weekend wedding in Savannah, GA. My guest LOVED them and raved about them the entire weekend. They kept things fun and playful, all while being professional and courteous. The way they captured the day/night is one of a kind. Communication was quick, payment arrangements were convenient, and the finished outcome of our photos are flawless! Enough praise and kind words can not be said. Absolutely the best pictures I’ve ever seen, and I have a large family and we’ve had many weddings. Not only is she a talented photographer but she and her husband Brandon are the nicest people! They are so professional and personable. Another thing I loved is that we never noticed them during the ceremony or reception yet they got the most amazing shots. You can’t go wrong with Dewitt for Love Photography!

During our first conversation, I immediately sensed how truly excited Shannon was to be in her profession. She wanted to hear about our story and our ideas, and it seemed like she and I were a match made in heaven. After this call I knew I didn’t have to look any further, and we got down to the nitty-gritty to engage D4L to capture our matrimonial bliss.
Fast forward to our downtown St. Pete mural engagement session – Shannon had a detailed game plan for the evening, putting my type-A mind at ease. Even though we had never met before, it never felt like we were strangers walking from place to place to take photos on what was probably the hottest July evening… ever. Shannon was easy to talk to, gave amazing direction, and was hilarious – if you are uncomfortable in front of a camera (or think you’re not), she is the absolute BEST person to make sure you feel beautiful and guide you along to stay on task and have fun. The experience was the sundae of your dreams, but receiving our edited engagement photos was the cherry on top. They are stunning. The coloration, the perspective, the angles – everything.
Now we skip to our rehearsal (2/2/18) and wedding (2/3/18) coverage. Shannon was on the ball and informed me her tall husband, Brandon, would be joining her as a second-shooter, a bonus since he could get the right angles of my own tall husband, Cameron. We had a great pre-wedding call to discuss details, but, at this point, I trusted Shannon and knew she would do her thang… work magic. Our wedding day was more of the same calculated planning of Shannon and, now entering, Brandon. The end products are these amazing pieces of art, and Dewitt for Love has given us this gallery to look back on forever. Of all the wedding planning decisions to be made, this was the easiest… and by far the best. -

Ashley Sent on 12/06/2017Shannon has a great eye for detail and has a knack for capturing the best moments on film! I was so amazed by the final products from our dogmom/Christmas shoot. She was able to keep the puppies attention and made me laugh the entire time. She explained the different types of lighting she was using from the surrounding natural light. I also learned a thing or two! Now my problem is picking out which picture will go on the Christmas card, they're all so good... that's it, I'm making birthday cards!

We are beyond amaze of how gorgeous our pictures came out. My family and friends are absolutely in love with our sneak peek pictures. She captured every magical moment of the day and more. Shannon and her hubby Brandon made us feel so comfortable, we felt like we knew each other for years. We had great constant communication from day one and with this wedding being a destination wedding , that was a big plus!

She really has that eye you are looking for to get the perfect photo! She will catch all those amazing moments. I highly recommend her. We have used her for anniversary and family shoots but I wish I could get married again so she could shoot our wedding.
