I had the best experience with the Devotion team for my hair and makeup for my wedding this September. I had a large group which included 7 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, 2 aunts, and my grandmother who all got both hair and makeup done. They prepared with 2 makeup artists, and 2 hair stylists to get the job done by 1:00pm. They were efficient, quick, while still making us all feel pampered all morning. They were professional, but also personable which I appreciate. Tamara and Nicole F. did our hair and everyone’s hair turned out amazing and held up all night during the wedding. Nicole P and Taylor did our makeup and my favorite thing about Devotion is how they create a natural glam look! I mean it when I say they were quick and without losing quality! I got the honor of having my hair done by Tamara. We had trialed my hair one way and then I wanted a few minor changes done before we started the morning of my wedding and she was so flexible and delivered my vision perfectly! Taylor did my makeup and I LOVED how it turned out. I felt beautiful but still like myself which was so important since I don’t wear a ton of makeup day to day. Taylor also was so patient and kind with me when I was starting to stress and feel nervous. I was thankful for that. I highly recommend Devotion Studio for all your hair and makeup needs!

Kirsten and Flore were amazing and helped make me feel like me (but just a little more enhanced) for the big day! I loved how Kirsten followed up and made sure that everything was right after our preview and I loved hearing her stories of growing up in the area. Everything was very clear and transparent in terms of pricing. Flore was very talented and took my feedback to create a look that truly felt like me. I don’t wear a ton of make-up and she helped beautiful and make sure It felt like me. I would recommend them to any brides looking for hair and make up. -

Perfect team for your wedding beauty!
Kirsten & her team were amazing to work with! And so accommodating too. I was looking last minute for a hair and makeup artist to book for my wedding and she was happily able to book myself, my MOH, bridesmaid, and my now, mother in law. My hair and makeup was exactly how I wanted it and everyone in our group were obsessed with theirs as well! Booking with Devotion eliminated so much stress and pressure from my day, it was perfect! Would absolutely recommend them to brides to be that are looking for their beauty needs. -

Thank you so much to Devotion Studio for making both the trial and wedding day so easy and stress-free! Kirsten (hair) and Sandy (makeup) were absolutely incredible. I don’t wear much makeup normally and really wanted to look like myself — and Sandy nailed the perfect, subtle, natural look that lasted all night. Kirsten gave me the most beautiful Hollywood waves that held up perfectly through dancing and happy tears! I got so many compliments, and my bridesmaids all loved their looks too. They were so wonderful! The artists were very friendly, open to feedback, and made myself and my bridal party feel very comfortable. Of course, they did a wonderful job on everyone and my hair and makeup lasted all day! During my trial, my hair actually lasted through a flight and through the next day. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. -

Devotion Studio did an amazing job with my bridal hair and makeup and my bridesmaids’ makeup! Their communication throughout the process (initial inquiry, booking, HMU preview, adding services close to the wedding, and of course the wedding day!) was exceptional. They were quick to respond, clear, and accommodating. After my HMU preview, they were very open and encouraging of feedback on the look. When I asked for some modifications, they happily made the changes and brought my wedding look into reality! Their general style also aligned perfectly with our wedding aesthetic: natural with a touch of elegance. It was such a pleasure working with them, I highly recommend! -

I reserved Devotion Studio for myself and my maid of honor on my wedding day. Additionally, my mother-in-law and her mother received hair and makeup services and looked absolutely stunning. My makeup was done by Jen, and my hair by Sara. They both are highly skilled professionals, super friendly, sweet and their attention to detail was excellent. As someone who is quite shy and indecisive when it comes to personal decisions, they both made me feel very comfortable and ensured that everything went smoothly. They listened carefully to my vision and took the time to confirm that I was satisfied with the results.
Communication with Kirsten, the owner, from the trial through to the wedding day was excellent. Throughout the months and weeks leading up to the event, I reached out with numerous questions, and Kirsten was consistently prompt and helpful in her responses. I am very grateful to everyone at Devotion Studio for being part of my special day. Thank you all for your time, attention, and care. I highly recommend Devotion Studio to anyone planning their wedding or special event. -

Look like the most beautiful version of yourself
When it comes to hair & makeup services for your wedding day, I cannot recommend Devotion Studio enough! From the very first point of contact, their kindness & attention to detail put me at ease. Kirsten provides so many valuable resources to help you prepare for your trial and to help your wedding party have the information they need to get ready day of as well.
My trial was wonderful; Kirsten & Sandy who would be responsible for my hair & makeup day of were both there and took the time to look at the pictures I brought, listen to my ideas and help me answer any questions I had. They made me feel completely comfortable, and my trial went so smoothly. Kirsten took video and photos afterwards to remember every detail of what we had done, and gave me instructions for the rest of the day so I could truly see what it would be like to live in that hair & makeup for 8+ hours. Communication leading up to the day was fantastic, which was so reassuring during a stressful planning period.
On the wedding day itself, they were a calming and fun presence for the whole party, including both moms and girls who don’t often do hair & makeup. Everyone raved about their final looks. Kirsten & Sandy also took my notes from after our trial and made the small adjustments to ensure everything was absolutely perfect. The final result was better than I could have ever imagined. My hair and makeup were beyond gorgeous and lasted all day & night. Most importantly, they made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself! It was truly a magical experience, and set the tone for the rest of my wedding day. Thank you, Devotion Studio! -

Devotion Studio did my bridal hair and makeup for my outdoor summer wedding on Sonoma Mountain. I wanted something that felt glowing and natural and not heavily made-up, and they hit the nail on the head. My hair, in particular, was one of the most beautiful parts of the day—a lush fishtail braid with maidenhair ferns and flowers woven into it. It looked like a hanging garden. And it held up through lots of dancing and twirling! -

Tamra did hair and Natale did makeup for me, my sisters, niece, mom, and mother-in-law for our micro-wedding on the Sonoma Coast. Tamra listened carefully to what each of us wanted for our hair and completely delivered. After my preview makeup appointment I decided I wanted a more “natural” look and Natale did an incredible job making my vision a reality. In addition, both Tamara and Natale were such a pleasure to chat with on the wedding morning – they brought a fun, relaxed energy that perfectly suited our small family wedding. Working with Kirsten and the team at devotion was great! On the day of, we had 3 artists and everyone showed up on time and kept to schedule. We were able to make some adjustments based on the preview and everything looked amazing on the day of! Even with a 108 degree heat wave, everyone's hair and makeup looked amazing!! A special shout out to Taylor who stayed longer than we originally planned and was interrupted so many times doing makeup by us and our photographer so that we could take some getting ready photos! She was such a trouper and really the MVP of the day!! -

I booked the elopement package for my summer 2024 wedding in Sonoma County. Kirsten quickly responded to my inquiry and got on a phone call with me to help me decide on services and advice on when to book. In that initial conversation, I knew that she was personable, kind, honest, and looked out for her team, all things I valued. I knew then I would go with Devotion Studio. I opted for the elopement package because I didn’t have a bridal party. Despite not having a formal bridal party, Kirsten and Addy made me feel like a total queen. I note this because I was initially anxious about our wedding in booking vendors (e.g., ‘would they think less of me because I’m not having my wedding at a vineyard/don’t have a bridal party/etc’), and those worries never crossed my mind when working with Kirsten and Addy. I had already booked a makeup preview and closer to my wedding date, I asked if there was space to have a hair preview too. Kirsten and Addy were able to make it work and I was able to have both a hair and makeup preview. My preview was two days prior to the wedding because my partner and I traveled to his hometown to get married. The day before my preview I added a ‘plan b hair option’ to my inspiration photos in case my hair wasn’t long enough to do what I wanted. When I met Addy, she said, “Let’s try plan A first. There are lots of ways to make this work.” And she did! When I saw my hair and makeup at my preview, I said “I can’t believe I look like this!” Not that I didn’t look like me, but I felt like Addy made me look the best version of me. She truly nailed the sophisticated yet whimsical and not stuffy vibe I wanted. Throughout the preview, she would check in with me to see what I liked/didn’t. Addy was a true gem to work with. She was professional and kind, and unbelievably patient wedding day (our wedding was less structured than most). My hair and make up lasted all day and past the after party! I have zero regrets booking with Devotion Studio and feel like I got everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend them for on-site beauty squad! Devotion studio styled my bridesmaid’s hair and makeup for my wedding and they did an amazing job. Chyrel and Heather are incredible artists and stylists and a joy to work with. They were very professional and did a great job with the range of hair types and skin tones in my bridal party. They were also incredible and patient with managing my party starting late due to a member of the party breaking her leg the night before. They helped us keep a positive attitude and still finished in time.
I also want to add that while I didn’t work with Kirsten directly, she was super organized and one of the easiest and most joyful vendors to coordinate with leading up to the wedding.
If I ever have a need to hire hair and makeup artists again in the future I would look no further than hiring Devotion studio again and again! Thank you for everything 🙏❤️ -

Amazing Make up and Hair with Devotion Studio
I can't say enough good things about working with Devotion Studio! We had a belated wedding celebration with our friends in October and I couldn't imagine our special day without Kirsten/Devotion Studio. Not only was she super flexible and professional when it came to scheduling and communicating, she also felt like having another friend there that day getting ready with us. We had about 20 or so ladies in a room as we were getting ready - playing games, being rowdy, etc. and Kirsten didn't miss a beat. She was part of the group and through all the craziness, she made me feel like a princess. I absolutely adored my hair and make up. She perfectly captured the look I was going for and I honestly have never felt prettier. What's even more impressive is that she did this without preview – she's just that good!
Kirsten also has a remarkable talent for achieving a glamorous yet natural makeup look. I wanted to look and feel like the best version of myself on my special day, and she exceeded all my expectations. Beyond her exceptional talent, Kirsten's personal touch made my wedding day even more special. When I got a little upset about the flower arrangements, she went above and beyond, assuming it was related to her hair and makeup work. She immediately checked in with me, ensuring that I was feeling okay and offering her support. Her genuine care and thoughtfulness helped me regain my serenity on a day that meant so much to me. Kirsten is not only an incredibly talented artist but also a wonderful human being.

Adeline's dedication was truly remarkable. She was pregnant, but that didn't stop her from working her magic. My mom had never had an updo before, and Adeline patiently and skillfully transformed her hair into something absolutely beautiful. She was incredibly creative, using a hairpiece to create a style that was not only comfortable and secure but also exquisitely chic. This team`s professionalism, kindness, and extraordinary talent left a lasting impression on all of us. They truly made our day even more special, and we are immensely grateful for their hard work and dedication. Makeup lasted all night and could not have been happier with the service and attention to detail!
Kirsten did a fabulous job creating a wedding look that I absolutely loved! I am not someone that typically wears much makeup and I never style my hair, so I was really relying on her to help me out with my choices and she did not disappoint. Kirsten created a look that didn't feel like it was too heavy on the makeup but still lasted all night. TMI but I typically sweat a lot and after dancing for a couple of hours the makeup still looked close to flawless. I was very happy with my hair as well, I was between going half up half down or all the way up, when we met for a preview appointment Kirsten was patient with me and open to styling both ways. She also made some final adjustments on the day of that made the look come together even better than I thought it would. I would say the value that you get from Kirsten or any of Devotions Studios stylist is well worth the price and would highly recommend their services to anyone getting married or having a big event! -

The Devotion Studio was great to work with. I decided last minute that I wanted to get my hair and makeup done and they were super flexible and fit me in. Kirsten responded quickly and answered all of my questions. Shalice did my makeup, and Sara did my hair. Both were professional, fun, and made sure they were doing exactly what I had pictured throughout the whole process. Both my hair and makeup lasted ALL day (12+ hours) with zero touchups. Kirsten and Sara are amazing!
I only have amazing things to say about Devotion Studio. I was in a pinch and had requested bridal party hair appointments with only two weeks notice. Kirsten and Sara did everything in their power to squeeze us in, and I believe they even had bridal hair appointments before and after mine. Kirsten gave clear instructions on what to do to prepare to ensure the best possible results (i.e., clean and dry hair). We shared our inspiration photos and ideas and they quickly made magic happen. I highly recommend their services! -

Elevated Beauty.
Kirsten and Jenny made my wedding beautiful. They are both so kind, nice, and thoughtful in the work they provide for the Bride and other beauty ladies. I met Kirsten and Jenny at my trail a few months before my wedding. I wanted an elevated version of myself in terms of make up, and Jenny knew exactly what to do. My hair has a history of never holding a curl, Kirsten provided some hair product suggestions which I immediately began using and noticed a difference. She also suggested hair extensions to help my already long hair hold a curl. The extensions were a perfect match to my natural hair color. My hair which has never held a curl in its life was curled the entire evening! Pure magic. The braid work in addition to the curls held up all evening and into the next morning. My makeup was also excellent. I felt beautiful. The lip color lasted all evening as well and I felt like the elevated beauty that I wanted.
I will recommend Devotion Studio to everyone forever. The pricing is fair for both a trial and day of services. They arrive on time, add to the getting ready atmosphere, and were a great addition to the wedding morning. I also strongly recommend checking out their Instagram account. Some really inspiring transformations where every single person looks stunning.

I am so, so happy I found Devotion Studio on WeddingWire! Kirsten was so great at communication, both in terms of being quick with responses and making sure that she knew exactly what I wanted. She was also awesome about being flexible and making sure we found a way to make the trial run work after I got sick and had to reschedule with less than three weeks before the wedding. Adeline was the artist who took care of me and my party, and she was amazing! I had a very specific vision for how I wanted my hair (somewhere between a bouffant and a beehive), and she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I was not wearing a veil or any sort of headpiece, so my hairstyle was important because it would be fully exposed, and Adeline completely nailed it. Multiple guests told me I looked like a 1960's movie star, which is precisely the vibe I was going for, and I cannot thank Adeline enough for making it happen! She also did an awesome job with my make-up, for which I had a less specific vision - I basically told her that I wanted to look like a more glamorous version of my regular self, and she perfectly highlighted my features without rendering me unrecognizable. My bridesmaids were also all extremely pleased with how well Adeline listened to them and helped them decide exactly what they wanted, before she proceeded to execute their looks flawlessly. We all felt fabulous and it comes through in the photos! Adeline is a true artist and simply a delight to work with. My big tip, if you are on the fence about doing a trial: it is definitely worth it! Everything came together so easily during the trial that I started thinking it may have been a waste of time and money, but my updo started coming undone on the car ride home, and then I was so grateful that we had practiced, so that I could let Adeline know that we needed to pin it in tighter for the real thing. She did pin it tighter on the actual wedding day, and it held together so well that I was able to keep wearing the updo for the next three days! Thank you, Adeline and Devotion Studio! -

Kind and talented Devotion Studios
Kirsten, Cheryl, and Addy worked on my wedding in August. They are all incredibly talented and kind, an absolute pleasure to work with! Cheryl works wonders with makeup and completely nailed mine and my bridesmaids “natural and glowy” look. We loved how she kept our freckles on display! Kirsten was incredibly flexible and quick to respond throughout the entire booking process. Her and Addy did a wide variety of hairstyles on my bridal party and everyone looked gorgeous. Kirsten and Cheryl were absolutely amazing!! They did my hair and make up for my wedding. I have a short pixie cut that I never really do much with. I was having a hard time imagining what a stylist could even do to it, but Kirsten helped me find a look that was so elegant. Never did it feel like my hair was wearing me. I have seriously never felt so pretty! Cheryl did my make up and she was just so wonderful. I also did not have any real vision on my make up and don’t wear much of it. She gave me such a timeless natural look! I didn’t end up wearing any foundation and was just so happy with the results. They also did make up and hair for 5 other women in my bridal party, who all looked fabulous. Kirsten even ended up having enough time to squeeze in two more hair bookings the day of the wedding. All I have to say is book these ladies!! -

A dream to work with!
I was so happy to find Kirsten at Devotion Studios. She was great!
Very professional, prompt, flexible, and accommodating, she even did an extra girl the day of! Everyone's hair looked beautiful, she killed it! My low up do was perfect I let all my girls do something different and everyone looked perfect! Thanks for being a part of our day and making our hair look it's best. :) -

Me and my (now)husband went from Germany to California to get married. I found Kirsten and her service by accident and it was the luckiest accident ever! She is such a gorgeous person and did an amazing job!! She was absolutely focused on my wishes and that I feel comfortable and that's what she did: She made me look AND feel beautiful and I'm so thankful for that!!! Every bride will know this high tension at that day and I was so extremely nervous (and far away from my friends and family) and she calmed me down with her friendly and patient attitude. A thousand hugs and kisses from Germany to you, Kirsten. Words are not enough for your Job! -

Kirsten and Adeline from Devotion Studio were an absolute pleasure to work with! They did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, along with my mom and sister. We were all really happy with the result and their professional work! Our makeup lasted all night!
Adeline did an amazing job creating a colorful and fun look for my sister that wasn't even planned, and she knocked it out of the park. Kirsten worked with me on my hair, giving me two looks: an updo for the ceremony and hair down for the reception. She was especially awesome in helping me with my unique veil request - my veil was especially heavy and long, and Kirsten handled it like a pro, even using a zip tie to secure it!
They were both kind, skilled, and I would highly recommend them! -

Great experience
Shalice did my bridal makeup and she is just about the sweetest person you'll ever meet- plus she's *incredibly* talented!! Kirsten did a beautiful job with my hair, was responsive when there was something that I wasn't loving, and the style stayed all night. Great experience overall :) -

I hired Devotion Studio to do my wedding hair and makeup plus my bridesmaids. They provided excellent service from start to finish. I had a trial with Addie and she truly took her time to practice and practice until she got my hair just right. Then when the wedding day came, it was no problem for her to make my hair exactly what I had hoped! She remembered all my requests! She's also just a joy to be around. At the makeup trial, Addie struggled to find the right makeup to match my complexion with what she was provided. So I went to Sephora and got matched to products. Then on my wedding day, my makeup was flawless. All my bridesmaids looked incredible too! I felt like my most beautiful self on my big day! I would definitely recommend Devotion Studio. -

Kirsten and Chyrel were SUPER flexible with my needs and made sure I felt like the most beautiful bride on my special day! I wanted a different look for my wedding day than what they provided at my consultation, and they were both willing to do whatever it took to get the look I wanted! Devotion Studio got us ready for my big day!
Devotion Studio did all the beauty services for me, my bridesmaids, and MOB/MOG for my wedding day. The artists at Devotion made us all feel beautiful and comfortable throughout the experience. Everyone looked great and loved their looks. I also did a trial prior to my wedding day to help lock in exactly what I wanted for my day. Adeline and Nicole did a wonderful job of gauging what I wanted and designing a look around that! -

Adeline created my dream hairstyle for my wedding. I asked for an 'Arwen' braid, and she delivered! I was amazing she was willing to drive all the way out to Philo for it too. Adeline is not only talented with hair, she has wonderful energy, and greatly added to my good mood, or rather helped soothe my pre wedding jitters. I also had to reschedule my wedding due to health reasons, and Devotion Studio was very accommodating. We had a bit of lapse in communication, again due to illness, but it all worked out in the end and I couldn't be happier with the experience!
