He even created a unique and fun wedding reception ice breaker during his set.
Chuck and Nikki are very organized and professional but most importantly great people with talent. The entertainment packages are fairly priced and they are so detailed in their execution from your initial quotes to your event they keep the lines of communication open.

DJ Chuck was absolutely incredible, hands down the best DJ on the planet! He did a phenomenal job from start to finish! The crowd engagement was unmatched, the games were fun and interactive, and even dinner was elevated with the song-guessing game, which was a huge hit!
The add-ons were next level: the clouds perfectly matched our John Legend theme, making us feel like we were floating on cloud nine. The smoke during dancing and the fireworks were the perfect complements, and the timing of everything was flawless.
I truly wish I could give a million stars. Chuck, Nikki, and the entire Detroit Entertainment Team were amazing throughout the entire process! From the live studio simulations showing us exactly how everything would look and sound, to the flawless execution on our wedding day. It was absolutely unforgettable!

Amazing Entertainment for a unforgettable wedding
I had the pleasure of having Nikki and DJ Chuck at my wedding on 9.20 and they are amazing at what they do! DJ Chuck had everybody on the dance floor, kept the flow of the day with ease, had our guests interacting with games and was just all around a great and easy person to work with.
Nikki is my girl now LOL but she was over the photobooth which our guests LOVED! She was great and prompt with communication over the course of our wedding planning experience and she created such a wonderful post card design for our photobooth that matched our colors. It was great working with both of them and I highly recommend them for any event!

The best DJ ever! Blessed to have met them!
Chuck and Nikki were professional and kind. They were prompt in responding to my many questions and concerns. They were knowledgeable beyond any expectations! I cannot say enough amazing things as I feel that most people with wedding planning Focus on the dinner or the venue, but honestly, the person announcing your loved ones and celebrating with you is truly the most important part. Chuck announced the Bride and Groom and wedding party and knew the order of speeches. He had all the songs in perfect order as if he had known our family for years. There was no worry or question whatsoever. This company treated us like family. I felt like I’ve known them for years instead of just a few short months to put a wedding on.

Perfection!
My wife and I were married in a remote location, a couple hours away from Detroit and we came all the way from New York. Our DJ was skilled, accommodating, and knowledgable. Coming from working weddings myself, I am hard to please but they did a great job and left me with nothing to critique. All in all, a top-tier entertainment company and my wife and I are happy as can be.

My wedding was a VIBE!
Dj Chuck and staff are professional and helped to make my wedding day so special. They are very detail oriented. He had everything handled from the ceremony to reception. The best dj ever!
Chuck was the greatest DJ we had ever experienced! He kept a very nice flow to the reception. He engaged with the guests and lead them into dances that made the atmosphere super fun and inviting. DJ chuck played all types of genres of music which appealed to every person in the room and made the dance floor the place to be! Our guests are still raving from such a great experience and atmosphere! My husband and I booked the dancing on clouds (fog machine) for our first dance. Finding dry ice was hard in our area, so Chuck had another employee bring a spark machine instead. Chuck and his staff went above and beyond to make sure our first dance was memorable and that ended up being our favorite part of the night! It was movie perfect! Our reception was a success thanks to his unmatched skill as a MC as well! We recommend Detroit DJ Entertainment to any and everyone who is looking to make their reception the most unforgettable experience. We had the pleasure to have Dj scoop as our Dj for our vow renewal and he went over and beyond our expectations. The music kept the party going and our guest loved it. Our experience with Detroit DJ Entertainment was PHENOMENAL from beginning to end; we highly recommend them.
DJ Chuck provided excellent service for our wedding ceremony and reception. For our guests they provided great entertainment; a few comments from guests: "best playlist, fun wedding, party was off the chain." For us they provided reassurance and peace of mind that comes from working with a professional business. DJ Chuck, leader and CEO of Detroit DJ Entertainment, is a great human with awesome people skills.
Communicating with Nik and DJ Chuck was easy, efficient, and their responses were timely. Especially; helpful were the due date reminder emails about meetings, conference calls, event forms (timeline and day of event worksheet.) During our conference call to review the forms DJ Chuck listened to our ideas, answered questions, made suggestions and provided helpful feedback about the music we selected. On our wedding day the music and DJ comments were perfect!
We are thankful DJ Chuck and Detroit DJ Entertainment were part of our June 1st wedding ceremony and reception. DJ Chuck's amazing skills and magic DEFINITELY made our wedding celebration a night to remember!

Dj Chuck was amazing ! He actually was the Dj at my girlfriend’s wedding a few years ago and I knew he had to also be our Dj! Chuck was the best. Unfortunately due to us have photos and videos at our reception we were unable to communicate with everyone after our ceremony. Chuck met with my wife and I and told us we had nothing to worry about. He was able to control the crowd, follow our itinerary to the tee and keep everyone having engaged and having fun. Unforgettable First Dance
We hired Detroit DJ Entertainment for some uplighting and indoor fireworks for our wedding on 9/23/2023 at the Roostertail. They were so friendly and very easy to work with. The fireworks were for our first dance, and they made it unforgettable. Our guests could not stop talking about it, and I find myself reminiscing about it all the time. Chuck was the best DJ I could have ever asked for!!
First of all I could not tell you how excited was when I found out that chuck was going to be my DJ for my wedding. From the very beginning of speaking with him, to their website, everything was such a smooth process. Their website makes it so easy to relay all the information the DJ needs for the wedding to ensure everything runs exactly how you would like it to. They have a planning form for your wedding as well as a timeline in which you can make changes to as you progress with the wedding process.
Now to the day of the wedding. Chuck was prompt and on time. He had everything set up and ready to go as well as was willing to work on an alternative plan in case the weather did not cooperative for our outdoor ceremony. He made sure to check in multiple times throughout the night with the bride and groom to make sure he was doing everything he needed to and was on the same page with us which was very nice. Chuck was a phenomenal DJ. He interacted with the crowd, did a few ice breakers, and really made everyone feel very comfortable throughout the wedding. Our wedding venue was a little different being that we had and indoor venue that opened up via garage doors to a large outdoor patio. Later in the evening the doors were open and most of the guests were outside. Chuck did an amazing job playing music that everyone outside would enjoy. Later on in the night as everyone came back inside he transitioned to more upbeat dance music, which is was we wanted and everyone had a blast. I received so many compliments on chuck throughout the night for the music he played and just his overall character.
If you are looking for a DJ that isn’t just a “sit behind the booth and play music” kind of DJ then I definitely recommend chuck and Detroit DJ Entertainment. He will have your guests feeling involved all while making sure the wedding is going exactly how you want it to.

DJ Chuck and the various services that were provided by the Detroit Entertainment Company were TOP NOTCH and made our wedding day, according to our guests, "one of the best weddings of the decade!" Our reception was not just a simple party, but a production thanks to DJ Chuck. The music, indoor fireworks, uplighting, monogram, and dry ice (dancing on the cloud) made our day more special, fun, & memorable than we could have ever dreamed of. DJ Chuck and his wonderful wife were very professional, timely, friendly, personable, accommodating, flexible, and engaging. Plus they are April babies just like us which was the icing on the cake! Their website was extremely organized which made it helpful for creating a music set list for certain moments during our special day. Service was awesome. DJ Will did an amazing job. Was timely. The music for the ceremony was seamless.
He read the room well. We partied so hard and couldn’t have had a better experience.
We opted for fog, up lighting and enhanced dance lighting, and they did not disappoint !!

Detroit DJ Entertainment made my Wedding Reception absolutely amazing - beyond perfect! DJ Chuck was on top of it as soon as he entered and continued to check in on me and make sure we were ready for the next "special moment" before automatically jumping into it. The two people who did my Photo Booth were also wonderful! They all joined in on the fun and made my night incredible! I cannot recommend them enough!

I felt we were in good hands . Everything went smoothly & we received a lot of compliments on the music.
Detroit DJ was awesome! We had an outdoor ceremony with classical music then moved inside for cocktails with Sinatra music then a variety during dinner followed by dancing including a Conga & line dance. Chuck was professional acting as MC & a lot of fun! Great great job!

Not Just a DJ
DJ Chuck and is crew are a pleasure to work with. From our initial introductory meeting to my actual wedding almost 2 years later, he and his team responded to every text and email sent in a timely manner.
His online platform makes it easy to plan every detail of the day. I also trusted him to do his thing and pick some of the songs for the evening.
He kept the crowd engaged all night, dancing, interacting and being an amazing host. All of which takes more than just music. I would highly encourage you to invest in your DJ and go with Detroit DJ entertainment.

Chuck is the DJ you want at your wedding! I received so many compliments from our wedding about how great he was! We had a backyard wedding and even our neighbors told us they sat on their porch's just to listen to his music because it was so awesome. I highly recommend Chuck as a DJ, he knows how to get a feel for the room and get all ages to have a great time. There was never a time our dancefloor was empty, I found it hard myself to get off the dancefloor because it was great songs after great songs!

BOOK DETROIT DJ ENTERTAINMENT RIGHT NOW! DJ Chuck was absolutely amazing for our wedding! He was so flexible when we had to change our venue and worked with us the whole way! Ceremony was perfect from walking down the aisle to song filler during our vows that we didn’t expect but needed! We told Chuck that we wanted to keep ppl on the dance floor as much as possible and geez did he deliver!! I have never seen so many ppl dancing as a wedding before!! Our guest enjoyed it so much that our guests were asking to extended the end time!!! DJ Chuck made our reception and felt the room so well. He knew when the crowd wasn’t feeling a song and faded into another to keep ppl dancing! I honestly can’t say enough about DJ Chuck and how wonderful he was. Where do I even begin? My husband is all about dancing, music, and entertainment. Our wedding wasn't an ordinary wedding, we put on a show! From multiple mixes of songs to our many dance routines, Chuck and his team were able to handle it all! We had a lot of requests, a lot of specific details that we wanted to be absolutely perfect, to the point where our requests took two hours of a discussion with Chuck over the phone. The service was very ,very professional. They made our day just that much. special. The photo booth add a very nice touch, and every body was talking about how amazing the fireworks was during our dance. I love the way they interact between the wedding party and our guess. Many of our guess wanted their business card. I have been to many parties over the years, and I never seen a DJ that almost had us in tears because of their great work.

This crew is the best! They made everything smooth and easy for us from the very beginning. Even with a thousand last minute changes due to Covid, they were understanding and flexible. Detroit DJ was easily the BEST DJ I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. My husband is from Ghana, so we asked that he blend our cultures together from a playlist standpoint. And he did not disappoint! He set up a conference call with my husband and I to make sure that he understood what we were looking for. He incorporated hip hop, Afro-beats, oldies, pop, and more. The saddest moment in our wedding is when we had to shut down for the night because that meant no more music. In the weeks following the wedding, all of my guests commented on how great our DJ was. So HUGE shout out to DJ CHUCK! He is literally the best DJ on the planet. He is professional, while at the same time having a fun and positive energy that really lends itself to a wedding atmosphere. I highly recommend Detroit DJ Entertainment. The booking process was very easy and we were able to fill out the necessary documents and requests online. We requested English, Arabic, and African music and DJ Chuck was able to accommodate all our music requests and he mixed it all beautifully. He was also able to take requests from guests the day of the wedding (even international music). We also got uplights and they were placed perfectly in the room. The DJ table was also lit up with the same color we chose. We had a phone conversation with DJ Chuck a few days before the wedding and we went over all the necessary details and name pronunciations. He kept the reception flowing and on time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services.

There was a near immediate response to our initial inquiry for his services and from that moment forward we were given the time, respect, and his knowledge of how the event will play out. We were able to easily meet with him to discuss what we were looking for at our wedding and he nailed every aspect. An added bonus was he was familiar with our venue (The Atrium at the Inn at St. John's) and he was able to give us a near exact timeline from start to finish; which also went in-line with how we had planned out the night as well.
As the event got closer (within 30 days) he was in contact with us to ensure, for obvious reasons, payments were good to go and then we were also able to set up a call to do a final, detailed, check of the night and services required.
As far as how the wedding went, I can't tell you how many compliments we received. Cocktail hour was a nice mix of Motown and Sinatra-era music and then from the moment the first dances were complete, not a single person left the dance floor until we had to because the party was over. He incorporated slow songs to bring it down a notch to give everyone a break and played a fantastic mix of music from the 80's to today to keep everyone involved and engaged.
Honestly, we could not have asked for a better performance from Chuck and will be forever grateful for what he provided us on our wedding night!

Attentive and fun DJ!
Chuck Boone and his team did a great job at making sure our wedding was how we envisioned it. We were very impressed with how well DJ Dre Scoop timed our reception entry. We did not hear all of the songs we had requested, but the dance floor was full at all times, so we believe the DJ was able to read the crowd well. Our guests all said they had a lot of fun, and that the DJ and music were great.
We also received the photo booth service and were very happy with it. The photo booth set up and props were fun. Nikol is very fun and professional, and it was great to be able to trust her with making sure people took photos and that all the prints got to us. The photo booth is a bit big, but it worked perfectly in our space. We received a USB of all the prints with our package too, which is a nice touch.

Chuck and his wife are a great combo for DJ and photo booth. Everyone commented on how good the DJ was and the dance floor was packed the entire night. The venue we chose did not initiate calling tables for the buffet dinner as I requested. I told Chuck the order and he stepped up and called the tables for us. He got the crowd going right off the bat with an ice breaker. The DJ that was present for the duration of the night felt the crowd or perfectly and played music that catered to everyone’s likes. Perfect night all around.

We can not say enough about how great DJ Chuck and his crew were. Our friends and family are still talking about how fun the dance party was. He also added in a little flare to get the crowded hyped up and ready to party. We did a conference call to discuss the schedule of the wedding, how to pronounce names, and what music we wanted. He even offered some great schedule change suggestions that helped to make our reception flow better. I would definitely recommend!! He has a great knowledge of music and reading crowds!

We decided to hire Detroit DJ Entertainment because of how welcoming and friendly DJ Chuck was. He answered our millions of questions in a timely manner with no issues. We were sold when he took us into his studio to get a LIVE experience of what it was be like to have him. Very nice touch! Detroit DJ Entertainment played music for the wedding ceremony, during dinner, and for dancing. DJ Chuck provided 7 hours of different kinds of music for us. He was friendly, organized, and professional. Nikol, from the office, was wonderful, too. At the reception he played music from 6pm-1am--- when it had to officially end at the venue. Chuck and staff kept guests on their feet and the dance floor always full. He was very receptive to any questions we had beforehand. It was a great night!

Detroit DJ Entertainment was awesome! The staff is friendly, very responsive if I had any questions. The owner, Charles Boone, is the epitome of professionalism. He was the DJ for my event and everyone at my party loved the music that he played. I made a special request to have him do a Ballroom Casino and he did an outstanding job. The photobooth, uplighting, and DJ services were all phenomenal. I received many compliments. The dance floor was full all night long and I've never seen a room full of guests as hype as when the bride and groom walked into the reception. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Chuck and his team. Not only was his staff responsive, helpful, and professional- but they gave me complete trust that they would keep the dance floor packed, which was important to us. The team made the process low stress, and we met to discuss our playlist the week of the wedding, which was a nice follow up from our initial meeting.
DJ Chuck absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding! Multiple guests came up complimenting our DJ and saying this is the best reception that they had been to in years. The dance floor was crowded all night with guests of all ages. Chuck also was great at announcing important events during the reception and helping with the flow of the night... I just can't say enough good things. We also used their uplighting services and the hall looked great. Seriously, BOOK DETROIT DJ ENTERTAINMENT for your wedding- you will not regret it!!! One of the best vendor decisions we made- your DJ can make or break your night, and you can trust in DJ Chuck!!

Detroit DJ entertainment is the best for weddings!!! I've now seen DJ Chuck MC two weddings (including my own) and he is amazing! He makes the couple, wedding party, and all guests feel comfortable and have fun! In addition to excellent sounds and music selections, they also have many add-ons that can add to your event. I got lights from them and the dance on the clouds add-on and everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful!! They are very professional and accommodating. I used the company for another event also and although DJ Chuck didn't DJ, he has other DJs who are also really good. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

My clients thoroughly enjoyed their photo booth by DDJE! All the props, the ambiance, and not to mention the attendant Ms. Nik! She was such a sweetheart to all my guests! She was there on time, set up before the guest could arrive and was ready to go when the DJ announced that the booth was ready and open. I will definitely keep DDJE on tap for my photo booth needs.
