When planning a wedding — the process is stressful enough — we wanted a day-of coordination team that was not only experienced & professional but also personable, and we found that with Detailed Affairs!
This team is organized, efficient and so communicative! They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and secure on our day, stepped in to help with any unexpected hiccups, and celebrated with us so that we could enjoy our day as much as possible!

We are so glad to have had Arun and the Detailed Affairs team on board for planning and managing our wedding! We initially had this idea of a Bollywood x Broadway themed event, and Arun helped us refine this idea and recommended vendors who could perfectly bring our vision to life. In the lead up to the wedding, Arun was extremely responsive and kept us on target with what was needed, down to the little details of which family members are involved in which tasks. On the actual day of the wedding, the Detailed Affairs team made sure everything went so smoothly - we just sat back and had a fun time!! Honestly don't know how we would have pulled together such a wonderful event, we can't thank the team enough for all they did. Our family and guests were also impressed, and commented at how well managed the event was. We got the Detailed Affairs Team for day of coordination and it was the best decision we made. From the initial interview to all of the follow-up calls, Arun was kind and had a calming presence. He provided us with great suggestions prior to the wedding, and came up with a timeline that met our needs (any reminded us to hydrate!). And that was all before the real work began! The day of, Arun and Dhara were making sure everything was running on schedule, everyone was where they needed to be, coordinating with vendors, etc. My husband and I throughout the day kept saying that we don’t know how we would have gotten through the day without them. They even had snacks prepared for the ring bearer when he wouldn’t stop crying. His team, Anmol, Priya and Melissa, were just as wonderful and helpful throughout the day from making sure we were up, fed, and in the right places. Special shoutout to Anmol who was by my side getting ready for the wedding, holding my hand, lifting my heavy skirt, and providing a head massage after removing all the bobby pins from my hair! We felt so lost without them the day after. Because of them, we were able to be present with a lot of our guests and actually enjoy our wedding. They had so much foresight and it truly helped to ensure there were no issues at our wedding. Take this as your sign that you need to hire them - you will not regret it. -

From start to finish, Arun brought a calm, supportive energy that truly allowed us to enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend. Neil and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide us through every moment of our big day. Arun and his team is fantastic. From the get go, they were an integral part in planning this wedding. They sat down with us multiple times to go over wedding timelines, gave feedback and input regarding various things regarding wedding day and kept us on a strict timeline so that things could flow seamlessly the day of. They were extremely prompt about coordinating our vendors with the venue and ensured that everybody was on the same page.
What astounds me even more is the actual day of the wedding. Their team was so on it - the Indian Wedding can be a chaotic day and they did a phenomenal job making sure my wife and myself got food, water, refreshments and time to decompress between ceremonies. We had a vision for our wedding and without a doubt, Arun and his team helped carry this vision out beyond our wildest imaginations. I would absolutely trust him 10/10 times and would use their team again - we really would not have been able to make this work without them! -

Wonderful experience with DTA!
Arun and the rest of the Detailed Affairs Team were amazing to work for our Sangeet, Hindu wedding, and reception.
When looking for a wedding coordinator, we wanted to find someone who 1. We believed could make our events go by without adding any additional stress to us and 2. We felt comfortable and vibed well with– and that’s exactly what Arun and the DAT did for us. We could always count on Arun to answer any question we had and to help assuage any anxiety that we may have felt throughout the planning process. Although we hired DTA as our wedding coordinator, we quickly realized that they do so much more than just coordinate our events (which already is a huge task itself). Arun, Dhara, Priya, and Melissa were there for us at every moment ready with water, food, or anything we needed and made sure our families were taken care of.
Needless to say, these events would not at all have been possible without Arun and the Detailed Affairs Team. Your work not only enhanced our experience as the Bride and Groom, but also the guest experiences, as well.

We hired the Detailed Affairs team to be our wedding coordinators, and of the hundreds of decisions we made during the planning process, choosing them was by far the best one.
From the very beginning, Arun impressed us with his professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of both North and South Indian customs. In our preliminary meetings, he took the time to truly understand our vision, asked thoughtful questions we hadn’t even considered, and laid out clear, concrete plans to ensure every single detail was covered. We immediately knew we were in expert hands.
In the week leading up to the wedding, the team went above and beyond by providing detailed timelines and spreadsheets for each day. Arun and Gia were recommended to us and we highly Recommend them. My husband and I got married June 2024 and they were the biggest help! We hired them as day of wedding and reception coordinators. My husbands’ family is from India but my family is from El Salvador so they made it easier to navigate through the ceremonies I am not accustomed to. They also gave us insight on the venues we had already booked. What I wanted the most on my wedding was to just be present and enjoy the day and they executed and organized everything perfectly. We had a great experience working with Detailed Affairs Team (DAT). Our lead planner, Arun Bhambri, was kind, diligent, and very professional. Arun was incredibly responsive and communicative with us via e-mail, Whatsapp, cell. He always made himself available to us and would give us hours of his time for certain calls. Arun provided us with all of the detailed information we needed, and recommended great vendors while working within our budget. I found that DAT was one of the more affordable wedding planners as well, especially for big South Asian weddings. Arun and his team kept us organized and on track throughout the entire planning process. Arun had great working relationships with our DJ (Gaurav Sood) and Max (the manager at our venue, Crystal Plaza), which made the planning go more smoothly. Through DAT, we received a discount on all of our stationery purchased on www.minted.com, which was really nice. My personal attendant on our wedding day, Dhara, was so thoughtful and helpful. She anticipated my needs and waited on me like I was royalty. My husband’s personal attendant, Drishti, was great as well. The DAT team always made sure we had enough to eat and drink at all times. We highly recommend them as they helped make our magical weekend wedding dreams come true! -

Detailed Affairs was THE best decision we made for our wedding day. Our wedding was complex, multicultural, and we had a lot of voices and opinions from family members. Arun and Gia were able to help us really focus on what WE truly desired as a couple and they ALWAYS pushed us to get the best of the best for us. Our ceremony started very early and we had a jam packed day - leading up to our wedding day Gia and Arun were on top of every single detail. They made sure they had contact details (phone number and email) for every family member, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and even our dog sitter!! They made sure that they had all the tools we needed to be successful and minimize the stress for us on our wedding day. On the day of, I actually never knew what time it was, I simply followed the instructions of their team and knew they would handle it - this helped my husband and I have an amazing time.
Arun and Gia always guided us in the right direction, even if we didn’t see it at the time. For example, since our morning ceremony was very early, we were debating on if we wanted certain photos in the morning. They advised us not to skip out on those photos because they would be great memories to keep. Looking back, we are SO happy we listened to them.
Gia also heavily leaned in with helping manage opinions and voices of family members. Our family was a lot at times, but she was calm and managed everyone with respect and grace. It takes a lot of patience and tolerance to be able to keep your cool amidst chaos, and for that I truly appreciate Gia.
On the day of, Amnol was a sweetheart, I (the bride) was overly nervous about all the details of my wedding coming together and she was there to calm me down, bring me anything I needed, help me with my dress, you name it. I spent most of my “behind the scenes” time with her my whole wedding day and it was great!
Detailed affairs even helped me with last minute clothing decisions, they facetimed me at 9pm at night on a week day just to help me pick out jewelry. They truly went above and beyond to meet our every need. We were able to truly see how much passion and care they put into their work, there were times they talked/helped us even though they really didn’t need to - but they did because they cared about us a lot. We felt so supported and guided throughout the entire process. We are so grateful that Detailed affairs was able to help us plan and execute this special day with for. From the bottom of our hearts, I could not thank them enough. -

Hiring Detailed Affairs Team was the best decision we ever made!
Everyone is hesitant about booking a wedding planner for their big day, but choosing Detailed Affairs Team (DAT) was one of the best decision we made by-far for our wedding. Having a work from home job, I felt that I was going to be able to handle all of our wedding planning on my own. However, with the stress building up day by day, with all the smaller details of a wedding piling up, it was time to make some phone calls. With our first conversation with Arun over the phone, we knew that him and his team (Gia, Dhara, Anmol, and Tripti) were the ones that we could trust to make our vision become a reality. He went over all the smallest of details and obstacles that could ever come up before and during our wedding, and made us realize that we couldn’t do this without him and his team. From the first phone call to the day of the event, they made sure to provide us with all the details possible for our wedding. Arun and his team were available any time of the day to answer any of our calls and help with some of their own inputs to make our special day just that much more memorable. On the day of, Arun and his team put in all their efforts for us to make sure every little wish of ours was fulfilled. They ensured and double checked that there were no mishaps with the numerous dietary restrictions we had; they assisted us in adding our own personal champagne tags to all our welcome drinks; they helped in coordinating a first look, not with only the family, but also with the bridal party; they took care of us by making sure we were always fed and hydrated on our big day (of course, using straws so that my lipstick wouldn’t get messed up!), and made sure we got enough sleep before our big day. All of this would not have been possible for a bride and groom to control on the day of. With all the minor things we wanted to incorporate into our big day, DAT was there to make sure everything was just how we envisioned it and more! They truly made the whole day flow so smoothly; to this day, we still hear some of our guests tell us how impressed they were with the planning and felt as though it was very well managed. Clearly, DAT not only made us feel relieved and stress-free on the day of, but also made this wedding such a memorable one for so many of our guests. Throughout the whole process, they truly made us feel special and hyped us up all the way through the end of our reception night. We feel so honored to be able to work with them for our wedding. If the thought of hiring a wedding planner ever crosses your mind, I would recommend Arun and his team to clear all your doubts! DAT dotted all the i's and crossed all the t’s for us! -

Amazing Wedding Planners!
We hired Detailed Affairs for their ‘day of coordination services.’ Arun and Gia started helping us plan few months before the wedding and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. As the bride, I was very particular about every detail of the day, from the songs to the type of pictures I wanted, and Arun and Gia were very patient the entire time. They were always available to answer any questions we had, no matter the time of day. They provided great insight and advice and helped us create the perfect timeline for the wedding. The day of our wedding, Gia and the team were extremely thoughtful, helpful, and executed the timeline seamlessly. They carried emergency items for whenever we needed something and there were many times when we needed safety pins, Q-tips, napkins, etc. Dhara assisted me throughout the event and was absolutely wonderful. She carried my lipgloss with her, assisted me by lifting my ridiculously heavy lahenga and helped me change as well. The DAT was so much fun to work with--they got along with all our friends and family and took part in some of the wedding shenanigans as well. What I really appreciated is even though Arun had another event the same night, he still made the time to stop by our event to say ‘hi’ and to make sure everything went smoothly. Bottom line is Arun and his team are absolutely amazing! I can’t thank DAT enough for making our wedding so special and stress-free. -

From the start of working with Arun, we knew our events would be in great hands. Arun recommended excellent vendors (who spoke very highly of the Detailed Affairs team), offered his professional opinion on how to appropriately structure our events, and made extremely detailed timelines that kept us (and our friends and family participating in our events) on track for the day of. We did not worry about a single thing on our wedding day because Arun’s team was by our side making sure we were feeling excited, calm, and hydrated throughout! We really appreciated the small details Arun’s team focused on - like keeping extra supplies (straws, medicine, safety pins, scissors) to fix any snags we came across in our day. 10/10 we would not only recommend everyone get a weekend coordinator if it fits in their budget for their wedding, but 1000% we would recommend the Detailed Affairs Team! Right from our very first call we knew they were the team we wanted to work with because we could tell how attentive to detail they were. I as the bride am extremely OCD so I wanted to make sure we were giving up control to the right hands, and we totally did! Leading up to the wedding they would constantly answer our many questions, give us tips, and get us pumped up for our special weekend. During the weekend itself they took care of everything ranging from big things- like when one of our shuttles didn't show up they called the vendor dispatch to sort it out, to the little things like making sure in between photos we had water (with straws to not mess up makeup). We honestly could go on and on about everything the team did for us but overall in the end, they were one of the largest if not THE REASON our wedding weekend went off without a hitch. We and our family could actually enjoy our wedding because we didn't have to take care of anything. Thank you so much to Arun who was our wedding lead and whom I would trust my life with, as well as our on-site coordinators who never left our sides, Tripti, Dhara, Roshni, Melissa. We owe the whole team a huge thanks from the bottom of our hearts. -

They put the detailed in Detailed Affairs Team
We started planning our wedding in Feb 2021 for a June 2021 date. After lots of uncertainty with venues, vaccinations, and wedding details, what we tried to accomplish in a few short months was quite an undertaking. We decided on an NYC rooftop wedding ceremony, followed by lunch, and cocktail style reception all in one day with a different set of guests at each event to keep our overall headcount down. Knowing we needed serious help to make it happen, we brought the Detailed Affairs team in about 6 weeks before the wedding after our first failed attempt with a different wedding planner. If you take one thing away from this review it’s this: the team had their work cut out for them and delivered exceptionally.
We cannot say enough good things about Arun and his team. From the very beginning, they helped ensure we would get the wedding we wanted and frankly the wedding that was feasible given the conditions we laid out. As a project manager, I pride myself in my organization and ability to execute and my only wish was that we brought them in sooner. The team’s responsibilities were as follows: help us create a detailed schedule of the day, coordinate with he vendors to ensure they had the info they needed, and to think through the potential mishaps and overlooked details. From scheduling arrival times, to sending text reminders to the bridal party, to ensuring everything ran smoothly day off, the team lived up to their names.
When it came to creating the final timeline for the day, the team was able to identify numerous areas in which my initial draft had overlooked or had not thought to plan out. They also knew which areas I needed to schedule more or buffer time for events and where to cut time, which was important considering how much we were packing into the day.
Though it was organized last minute, Arun made it a point to make it to come to the walkthrough and help figure out how to ensure the caterers had all they needed to serve two events in one day, how the layout should look for all the events, how to flip the space from ceremony to lunch to reception, and was able to foresee all the potential ways we might run into issues and proactively worked to alleviate them.
A few weeks later, the morning of the wedding came, and in came the team bright and excited to make the day special with their matching, shirts, masks, and walkie talkies. From escorting the bridal party to and from the main room, to ensuring the DJs had a way to get their equipment up the stairs when the venue elevator broke, to personally bringing us our iced coffee and bagels, they made sure the day went off without a hitch (and when there were issues, they were taken care of quickly and seamlessly).
Ultimately, I am so grateful to Arun and the whole Detailed Affairs Team for their patience and commitment to making our day so special for us. Through the hurdles that planning a COVID wedding threw at us, they had exceptional thought, service, and kindness throughout the whole process. I recommend them to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the near future. You would be in the best of hands.

Amazing Team!!
Can’t stress enough how helpful Arun and his team were during our wedding planning process. Our wedding was during the pandemic but the team made every moment feel like it wasn’t. Arun would be on daily calls with us and answer our texts and emails in a timely manner. Dhara was also the best bridal assistant, someone who didn’t leave my side on the wedding day! The Detailed Affairs team was extremely organized leading up to the big day, ensuring the wedding and reception ran smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing because Arun and his team took care of anything we asked for. We would highly recommend Detailed Affairs!! -

Hands down best decision ever
What can I say about Arun and the entire Detailed Affairs team. We decided to go with Arun after he planned my SIL’s wedding.It was PERFECT so without a second doubt we wanted him to be our planner and it was the best decision we could have made. Our wedding was in middle of pandemic and we had issues with vendors regarding guest counts and tiny details. Arun would step in and helped us with everything . He listened and delivered! The day of the wedding was flawless! Arun and his team took care of every little detail…Dhara was so sweet and just AMAZING. She was by my side the whole time and made sure my duputta was just right, my necklace was not in the wrong direction, etc. I could feel I was such a happy bride and was not stressed at all.That is all thanks to Arun and his team who took care of every little detail from our morning coffee to vendor payments to making sure we had food waiting for us when we got back to our room after the reception especially lots of desserts :) I highly recommend Arun and his team for future couples. If you don’t want to be stress HIRE them.

Where do I even begin? Planning a wedding is already so stressful, but adding COVID to the mix makes it even more complicated. Arun was so good at handling all the details and made sure we didn't drop the ball on anything. We had to change our venue about 10 days before the wedding, but I was not stressed at all because I knew Arun would be there for us. There was a point where I was completely over this wedding, but he made sure to stay positive and continuously reminded me that love is not cancelled. I know it sounds so cliche, but you really start to believe it because it's true.
The day of the wedding, the entire team came in with so much energy! I was so excited to get the day started. The team made sure Sagar and I were comfortable, had snacks and water available and were constantly checking in with us. We were actually way ahead of schedule, which was amazing because when does that ever happen at a guju wedding! All the onsite coordinators did a great job at making sure everything was perfect. All the small details, like the reserve signs and the sanitizing stations were perfect.
The entire team is so professional and thoughtful. They truly care about every detail as if it is their own event. Having Detailed Affairs be a part of my wedding was probably one of the best decisions I could have made. I honestly don't think I would have gone through having this wedding if it was not for Arun. Thank you for being part of our special day.

Without a doubt, you NEED to hire.
Arun and his team did a phenomenal job coordinating our wedding ceremony and reception. During the planning process Arun was so helpful and was there for us when we needed him. His attention to detail is spectacular and thanks to him and his team my husband and I were able to have a stress free wedding! Every moment, they were by our side and made sure everything I had spent months planning had been fully executed! From setting our program cards on the chairs, to bringing us Starbucks the morning of our wedding, they didn’t miss a beat. The most memorable moment was when my husband’s niece (8 months at that time) was crying during our family photos and Arun remembered my sister in law saying she loved the song “itsy bitsy spider”, so he started singing the song to distract her and it worked! It was the sweetest and most genuine gesture and one of the reasons we love the Detail Affairs team so much.
The morning of the ceremony, from getting ready in the hotel room all the way to the point we walked down the aisle, Dhara was with me and Anmol was with my husband making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed even before we knew we needed it. I remember being really nervous before my entrance and Dhara pulled out my favorite chocolate and said “have this, it’ll make you feel better”.
The reception night, Arun made sure all our belongings were packed up and in the bridal suite, along with some food for us because he knew we didn’t eat anything. There was a point in the night where a bunch of our family and friends were taking paan shots in the other room with the food, and Arun knew we wouldn’t want to miss that moment, so he pulled us over to take shots with our family and friends! It’s the little details that really stood out to us and we’re so happy we hired the Detail Affairs Team to help make our wedding magical. -

Where do we even begin. Planning an Indian wedding, especially in the states can be stressful, it begins more than a year prior to the wedding date, and even then, so many details are foreseen, even until the last second. With the Detailed Affairs Team by our side, this wasn’t the case for us. We’ve been to many weddings, even some of the most glamorous ones where we’ve seen situations get out of hang, people scurrying around for missing things, events not going according to time, guests getting restless, all fears we had as bride and groom. Sitting here today, looking back on our wedding a month later, none of those were the case for us. Not because our planning was perfect, but more because their team efforts and coordination was on point. After many raves from weddings guests about our wedding, I cant thank the Detailed Affairs Team enough. Not only are they amazing at what they do, they’re like family who actually care for you. Every single detail, whether it was in their contract or not, was looked after with so much care. One particular memory I have from the reception night, was sitting in the venue during speeches and seeing that our most important guests seated at the estate tables, were sitting with empty glasses, because they couldn’t move without being noticed. Arun immediately noticed the look on my face as I was glancing around and asked if there was anything he could do. I pointed our to concern, and in minutes I saw drinks being brought to them as per their orders. This may be a small detail in midst of many other crucial things they handled with such ease, but to me, it was imperative to know my family was comfortable and having fun. Everything that mattered to us, mattered as much to them. Whether within their job description or not, they made just we had our perfect wedding with minimal effort and stress on our end. I would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation. With the Detailed Affairs Team, nothing will go overlooked, and you’ll always have someone you can count on. -

I'm so happy that I had the Detailed Affairs Team to help us through our wedding. As you may know, Indian weddings are quite the affair and have a lot of things going on throughout the day. The Detailed Affairs Team took over the planning and coordination and went above and beyond in the help that they provided. I can't imagine my wedding without their help; whether it was to make sure all our small things (flower petals!) were there for guests or it was as big as ensuring that every bit of the day was on a tight schedule, the Detailed Affairs Team was incredibly helpful and easily became a crucial part of the wedding. We weren't initially thinking of having a planner but we are so glad that we worked with Arun for our wedding! He helped us plan multiple events in New York (we live in California). He has incredibly strong attention to detail, and offered many suggestions for things that we would have overlooked on our own. We had a multicultural wedding and he was instrumental in bridging both of our needs and wants. He was excellent at managing our other vendors across multiple events, freeing us up to enjoy the planning process and our weekend with our guests. Highly recommend!! -
