Most amazing wedding dress ever!!

I was definitely a bride that had no clue what type or style of dress I was looking for, which makes searching for the perfect dress that much harder. Destiny’s Bride was my first appointment. I walked in and told the consultant how I wanted to feel more than a specific look. She told me she had the perfect dress for me! She pulled the dress she had in mind while my mom and bridesmaids looked around and pulled others. The consultant had me try on her dress first, and I was sold. She absolutely nailed the look and the feeling I wanted!! I tried on the others my crew had picked out, but after about the 6th dress, I said I just couldn’t wait to get back in the first dress! I put it back on and it was absolutely perfect! While I was blessed to find the first dress I tried on to be the one, the store has so many amazing dresses! After that, Lisa was in contact with me the entire time, and I was never once worried about anything! It was picture perfect throughout the entire day, and I felt like a princess!

Amazing!!!

Lisa, the owner, was so caring and thoughtful!! I ordered designer Beading from out of the country (which they were so great in helping with) and they helped me customize my entire dress!! When I wanted to add extra to my train at a later time, they were there helping me along the way. I’m sad I won’t get to see Lisa anymore, but I will be back if I have a different formal event.

Wedding Dress

I got my wedding dress here- a Simone Carvalli gown. It was perfect for my romantic floral summer vibe wedding in Michigan this past July. Everyone I worked with was amazing and super knowledgeable. The alterations were perfect.

Works well with non-locals

I was a bride from Las Vegas with lots of family in Phoenix, so in order to get family involved in dress shopping, I decided to try boutiques in Scottsdale. Destiny's Bride did not disappoint. Cali was AMAZING to work with, helped talk me through the different dresses I was trying on. It was my first appointment, so the guidance was very helpful. Everyone that came with me to the appointment had an amazing time, and I found my dress! Once it came to alterations, I obviously didn't want to do to much back-and-forth since I was out of town. Destiny's Bride was able to get all my alterations done, for a VERY beaded/complicated Calla Blanche gown, in 3 days. I came into town on a Monday for my first appointment and left with it perfect by Wednesday. I couldn't recommend this boutique enough!

I found the perfect dress early on in the wedding planning process. But that did not matter to Lisa or the other girls at Destiny's Bride. They made it clear from the very beginning that they would be there every step of the way and that I could come to them with any concerns. They went above and beyond to help me, and proved to be an invaluable source. I found my makeup artist through them, our groomsmen rented their tuxedos through them, and they always had me laughing and at ease at my appointments. Since the first day I walked through their doors, I have felt comfortable, beautiful, and not stressed whatsoever. Destiny's has an absolutely incredible selection of beautiful gowns that I know for a fact the staff have carefully picked to be perfect. And they are willing to help you in any way to make your perfect dream dress a reality. I would recommend Destiny's Bride in a heartbeat to anyone and encourage you to make an appointment! You will not be sorry!

Lisa was amazing. She was so attentive and quick to respond with any questions or concerns I had. Her goal was to make sure I got the dress of my dreams and did everything to make sure that happened. Her team is amazing too, they helped me add customization to the gown that truely made it unforgettable and one of a kind. To this day (a year later) I still have people come up to me and say that it was the most beautiful gown they had ever seen. If you want the dress of your dreams, look no further. Lisa and her team are the best.

There are no words to express the love I have for Lisa, Morgan, Callie, Rose, and Neddie!!! From my first phone call to set up the appointment, I felt that this was the place where i make friends and fall in love with a dress. BOTH happened!! Morgan is my bride whisperer Not only did she choose the dress that i swear was designed for me , she stayed with me every step of the way to make sure I had every single thing I needed to feel special.
Not only is the personal level of service outstanding, the gown selection is beyond dreamu; the seamstresses are the most talented I have ever seen. I truely felt like a princess through the whole journey and on my wedding day. I recommend Destinys ..above all else.

I found my dream dress here and had the best experience! It was like a fairytale- what every girl hopes for in a bridal shop! It is beautiful inside and everyone that works there is extremely helpful! I ended up getting quite a lot of alterations and it was exactly what i had envisioned- and not too expensive comparatively. I am so happy that one of bridesmaids recommended this store and I absolutely recommend it as well!!!

The wedding dress search can be emotional and taxing. The experience I received from Kira, Lisa (the amazing owner) and Robin was kind, personal and refreshing. Kira never pressured me (even after two visits and no dress) and reassured me that I would find "the one." Once my perfect dress came in, I received the best voicemail from Lisa in which she encouraged me to come by to "visit" my dress, if I wanted to. During fittings, Robin constantly complimented the style of my dress and remained extremely flexible with appointment dates and times (during my very busy work weeks). Destiny's Bride has the loveliest selection of gowns from a variety of designers, including Tulle and Hailey Page. I am so happy I purchased my gown from this local bridal boutique.

I cannot say enough positive things about Lisa, Rose & the alterations team at Destiny. I went in for an appointment completely discouraged by the dress selection process; I wanted something modern and most of the styles at other boutiques were too vintage or too "cookie cutter". Destiny's carried Hayley Paige, who is a very modern designer. Rose helped me to select a few dresses of hers and I immediate fell in love with the Leighton gown. My mom was not initially on-board, so Rose had me come back for a 2nd appointment and talked through the overall vision I had for my wedding and helped me realize that was in fact the dress for me.

I purchased my dress 17 months before my wedding, so knowing I was anxious to see it, they contacted me as soon as it came in so I could try it on. We set my alterations appointments for 14 days and 5 days prior to my wedding! This initially freaked me out because my final fitting was literally the day before I left for Las Vegas, but the team knew what they were doing! I'm very petite so there was A LOT of work they needed to do. Destiny's has an alterations cap, which I'm so thankful for because my alterations alone could have cost $600-800 elsewhere. My dress fit perfectly and even my mom was in awe of how stunning it was!

This is the best bridal shop in Scottsdale and I would recommend them to anyone!

It isn't easy finding the perfect wedding dress. But it may be even harder to find the perfect store. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and certainly knows her business! She is very familiar with styles, vendors, colors, and how to work with a bride. Our daughter's wedding was in Indianapolis, so Lisa arranged alterations to be done in 1 day. She made it very convenient for us. And they "packaged" the dress so we could travel with it on an airplane with minimal wrinkles. I would highly recommend Destiny's bride!

I got my wedding dress from Destinys Bridal in scottsdale and it was amazing! The girls were very helpful with picking out the dress and giving me suggestions about which belt to wear. They have a maximum on alterations which they tell you up front when you buy the dress. This ended up saving me hundreds of dollars and the alterations turned out perfectly!

From the moment I stepped foot into Destiny's Bride I felt special. I had been to 6 other stores in the same day to find the dress and at each store, it wasn't even that I didn't find a gown I liked, it was the people and the vibe I got that felt off. Rose was so attentive at my first appointment and not the pushy sales person type I had experienced at other places. She really helped the dress find me and asked all of the right questions so that I would come to the choice myself successfully and have that amazing bridal moment. I never felt rushed at any of my appointments. My fittings were all excellent with rose and netty and I really just have nothing but amazing things to say about this shop. It was such a special experience that was an absolute pleasure every step of the way.

I would highly recommend Destiny's Bride over many other stores in town.

Rose at Destiny's Bride was extremely helpful and couldn't have made my choice of wedding dress any easier. Destiny's Bride was the third place I went to try on dresses during a marathon day of errand running. We planned our Phoenix wedding from Texas, so I had one day to find "the dress". We almost didn't go to our appointment at Destiny's because I thought I'd found it earlier in the day, however I'm so glad we ended up going. Their shop is small and I was the only person there during my appointment. Once we chose the dress, Rose walked us through the ordering process and helped me choose my veil as well. Unlike most shops, Destiny's Bride only wants to do fittings a week before the wedding because - as Rose told us - two months or three months is a long time and bodies can change a lot in that time, and she's completely right. This made me slightly nervous - what if they didn't finish alterations on time? But all those fears were unnecessary. Their alterations are completed on site and they were done impeccably. Rose also gave me several helpful pointers for the day of, which I never would have thought of (it's a whole lot easier to just take your dress off to go to the bathroom, FYI, don't bother trying to hoist it above your head!) - it's clear she has been doing this for a long time and her expertise was very welcome!

After I dishartening day of dress shopping, I popped into Destiny's Bride about 30 minutes before they closed (without an appointment) just to see if I could look around. Rose was very accommodating and didn't looked bothered in the least as I walked-in. She listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and brought out dresses for me to try. I found one that I loved but wanted to sleep on it (and not make them work late!) so I made an appointment for the next day to return with a decision - I bought the dress!

A few months later, my fiance and I had to move cross country for work. However - Rose and her team were very accommodating. They held the dress in the shop for me, and I flew back to AZ for a one and done fitting, which turned out flawlessly. Netty (seamstress) is amazing at what she does! The dress fit like a glove after only one fitting.

The only piece that confused me was that they advertise a $350 cap on alterations. I requested the strap on the dress be slightly modified; it did not require any extra lace or fabric, just repositioning it and scaling it back, which ended up costing extra, in addition to the $350. Now, I will still say - the alterations were a great deal and incredible value considering how expensive alterations can get - but I was confused with the way they originally presented it.... its more like a $350 cap for standard alterations (making the dress fit you as-is) but anything that changes the style of the dress costs extra. I would still highly recommend their alterations team, but just wanted to add this so people weren't confused like I was.

Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend Rose, Netty, and the rest of their team!

The most beautiful salon in all of Scottsdale. My dress was custom made and Destiny's Bride did such an incredible job! They are friendly and really know how to dress a bride! I wouldn't trust anyone else on my wedding day. Their selection is incredible and everyone is so friendly. The only thing that I was minority upset about was the fact that I paid $200 for alterations. My alterations did not meet $200 and yet they would not use the rest of that money for my custom work (sleeves). In the end I had to pay $680 for my custom work on top of the $2500 I paid for the dress and veil.

My bridal dress experience at Destiny's Bride was AMAZING, and I would without a doubt recommended this shop to every future bride!! They have a great selection of beautiful dresses to choose from, all within different price ranges, and they also have great bridal accessories! They are also conveniently located next to other bridal related shops so you can literally find your shoes, other dresses (bridesmaids MOB, flower girl, etc) men's tuxes, etc.
From the moment my mom and I first walked into the store, we were immediately taken care of and Lisa and her team made me feel so welcome and comfortable every time I visited. Everyone at the shop is extremely helpful and you can honestly tell they all genuinely care about you and your decision in picking the most important dress of your life! :)
I absolutely love my wedding dress!!! They did a gorgeous job on my it and they fit it perfectly to my body and it fit like a glove. I felt soo beautiful on my wedding day, and a huge part of that is because of how I felt in my wedding dress!! I could go on and on... there just are not enough words I can use to describe how wonderful my experience was at Destiny's Bride... Lisa and her team are truly amazing at what they do!!

Going into Destiny's bride, I was nervous because I had a couple negative experiences at other bridal stores, I was alone because my family and bridesmaids live out of state, and I had little knowledge of bridal dresses. But on a whim I walked into Destiny's and Lisa greeted me with such warmth and made me feel so comfortable! Completely different than the other places I had been so far. They happened to have an opening so she told me to come right on back and I tried to describe to her in my limited dress vocabulary what i thought I was looking for. She listened and went to pull a dress for me....it was PERECT! The very first one, I tried on multiple other dresses for good measure and just to make sure, but the first one was it. I told her she was my fairy godmother because she was so amazing and add it such a great experience. The alterations were also great. Lisa and everyone else at Destiny's were truly amazing and my dress was absolutely perfect!

Destiny's Bride was the first shop I went to to try on wedding gowns and I couldn't have had a better experience. I brought several guests along with me and the shop was super accommodating to our group and to my indecisiveness. I had no idea what I was looking for and they helped me narrow it down and learn about all the different shapes and styles of the gowns. After visiting over 20 other salons (yes, 20!) in AZ and NYC, I ended up coming back to Destiny's Bride to purchase my gown. I had had such a wonderful experience there working with Lisa and her team and their selection was the best I found. I would recommend Destiny's Bride to anyone and everyone!

As an award winning wedding planner, I have seen a lot of wedding dresses and have heard from a lot of clients what their experiences have been like. When it was time for me to get married and go dress shopping, I knew I had to go to Destiny's Bride to have that one-of-a-kind dress shopping experience. When you go into a Bridal salon, you don't want to feel like you are one of 10 Brides in the shop getting sub-par service. You want to feel like you are a Bride - and you are picking out the dress that will wow your future husband! Destiny's Bride spends time with you looking at dress options that will work for you, then they pull dresses that will work for your body. You aren't in there trying on 100 dresses that won't work for you. When you find the one - they are there to support you through that process of measurements, receiving, and your alterations. The service is incredible, and the experience is like non-other. I continue to recommend Destiny's Bride to all of my clients as a go-to shop to get that one-of-a-kind experience - that is couture, fashion, and just plain fun!

Destiny's Bride was the perfect place to buy my dress! We walked in one day over a year before my wedding while I was in from out of town just to browse, and to our surprise, my dream dress was there (and was 50% off that day due to a sale if I bought the floor sample!) On top of that, I was able to customize the dress in a number of ways for a flat fee. Rose and her alterations staff were amazing at every fitting and my dress came out perfectly (and beautifully pressed) on our wedding day!

Rose saved my wedding dress! After dealing with AZ Bridal Warehouse (DISASTER) I called Destiny's Bride from a random google search. This was 2 days before my wedding w/ a dress that needed serious pressing. She was flexible & did everything she could to help me. She was my LIFESAVER! Destiny;s Bridal boutique was amazing. I bought a Lian Carlo dress through them only 3 months before my wedding. This is actually a vwery short amount of time to order a wedding dress luckily the shop owner had a Lian Carlo representative in the shop that day and they both assured me i would have my dress on time. And i did. They not only delivered my dress on time but they made the alterations on time as well and i was not charged a rush fee. I called the shop owner a few times and she would give me updates on the dress which was very reassuring since we were so short on time.

I had a wonderful experience at Destiny's Bride. I looked at other dress shops (where I also received good service) but Destiny's Bride had the dress I ultimately ended up buying. The lady who helped me with the initial purchase was very knowledgable and sweet (she no longer works there). She also helped me pick out all of my accessories. I bought both the gown and accessories at trunk shows, which helped me save quite a bit of money. The real experience with Destiny's Bride though was with their alterations department. Rose and Martha are absolutely wonderful! I have severe scoliosis, so alterations are always a nightmare. Not so here! Rose and Martha paid very close attention to my body's asymmetry, and made sure to account for it while making the changes. Also, between my first and last fitting, I lost some weight. The wedding was in two days, so I almost panicked when the top of the dress was too big. I should have known not to worry - Martha pinned the dress up and worked overtime to have it ready for me the next day. The dress fit like a glove!!! It was absolutely perfect! Everyone commented about how well it fit me, and even though it was strapless, I didn't fidget with it once at our wedding. In addition to the great job they did, they're also wonderful people. Rose is so kind - it really made the whole process very enjoyable. I highly recommend Destiny's Bride to future brides!

My whole wedding dress experience was made so special due to getting it at Destiny's! The tailoring experience was also great and my dress looked like it was made just for me. I love that they could tailor it the week of the wedding. The staff are all committed and so pleasant to work with as well.

As the mother of the bride.....I can not rave enough about the entire staff at Destiny's Bride. LISA the OWNER is a gem among gems. If I lived here...I would want to hang out and be friends. :) She treats you like you are her only client. They go above and beyond to make every detail perfect. I highly recommend Destiny's Bride!!! The sweet gal who did the alterations is also amazing....they had to take apart the dress and made it even more beautiful! When you walk into a Bridal shop you do not really get an inviting feeling. At Destiny's Bride I was treated like a princess and I even got to meet my New York designer Romona Keveza! I ordered my dress 5 months before and they had it here just in time! Rose was my consultant and she made everything possible and was always assuring and professional. They had to do my alterations in 24 hours, their seamstress got it done and it looked beautiful. If you want to have quality service and get treated like a Queen for one of the biggest days of your life. Get your wedding dress here!!!!

Destiny's Bride is the premier bridal salon in Scottsdale. Their new salon is BEAUTIFUL and their staff is so accomodating. They make you feel like you are their only customer and that your needs are the most important things in the world! Their selection of designers is THE BEST in the PHX/Scottsdale area.

I bought my dress over a year and a half before my wedding. When it came in, I went twice to the salon to try it on. They stored it there so my husband to be would not be able to sneak a peak :). When it came time to the fitting, I had to do it in a day because I had recently moved out of the PHX area. The seamstress was such a pro and Rose was there every step of the way to make sure the dress fit perfectly to my body.

I would say this is a must stop in your wedding gown/bridesmaid dress shopping. You will not be dissapointed!

I received so many compliments on my dress, it was my favorite detail of my wedding. Paloma Blanca style 4116. Zoe was my consultant at Destiny’s and she was awesome. So patient with me as I went back and forth. She even recognized my voice whenever I called in! I got my alterations done there as well by Rose and her assistant. Again, awesome. They were even pickier than I would have been, and made sure it fit like a glove. It was a pretty heavy strapless dress, and it felt comfortable all night long- I never wanted to take it off!

I loved Destiny's bride. I found my dream wedding dress, they showed me dresses that fit into my budget (not a few hundred dollars above like other places) They knew who I was when I called. They were so friendly, and so professional. The alterations on my dress were absolutely perfect. Everyone kept commenting that the dress looked like it was made for me! Thank you destiny's bride!

Where to start? My entire experience at Destiny Bride in Scottsdale was one I'll never forget. I worked with Rose who is an absolute doll. She's professional and yet warm and makes you feel right at home while shopping for (potentially) the most expensive article of clothing you'll ever pick out. The staff is patient and accommodating. I wouldn't change a thing. Although the wedding was in AZ, I don't live there so they actually completed my alterations two days before the big day. I had dropped some weight so it was no small job - my dress also had intricate designs and 7 layers to alter. The seamstress took her time and didn't finish until the dress was perfect. I appreciate their attention to detail and respect for marriage and what it means. I highly recommend Destiny to any bride. They recently moved and their new shop is fabulous! You search dresses on an iPad and then try them on atop gorgeous pedestals in a wide, well-lit space. Thanks Destiny!!

Amazing! I could use every wonderful word to describe my experience with Destiny's Bride and I feel that that may not be enough. When I first went shopping for my dress, I was at David's Bridal. They had some nice stuff, but nothing that made me feel a bride or that give me that "wow" feeling. I went to a few other places and nothing quite fit. I had a few I liked though. Then I was pointed to Destiny's by a good friend of mine, so I made an appointment. I went in a little hesitant, because it was a little more than I was looking to spend. But after trying on a few dresses and talking to Rose, I knew that I had made the right choice in coming here. After trying on a few dresses, I had a few favorites. Before I choose though, I asked Rose if she had any other dresses that she might suggest for me. I let her choose. The dress she brought me was it! It was my dress and perfect. After that moment, I felt a bride and had that "wow" moment that I didn't think was going to happen.
Every step of the way, Rose and the rest of the staff at Destiny's Bride were just amazing. It does take time for the dresses to come in as they are made to order. I received mine two and a half weeks before my wedding date and they had it ready to go and perfect in no time. Thanks so much to everyone at Destiny's!

This place is wonderful. We made an appointment and were there with just a mom and another bride so the place was practically to ourselves. Rose helped us and I found the most beautiful dress- literally had my eyes set on a certain one but tried this one Jim Hjelm on "for fun" to see how it would look and it ended up being the one! The dress had just come in the week before so we bought the sample at a discount even though it had barely been tried on and was a brand new design. The alterations were perfect, the dress was dry cleaned and hand pressed (silk taffeta= 3 hour pressing!) I came back to try it on for one of my sisters who had been out of town when I got it and it was all ready for me. We picked it up finally the day before the wedding (we had them keep it for safekeeping!) I received so many compliments and am still in love with this dress! I would absolutely recommend Destiny's Bride- especially after going to places like David's Bridal where you feel like you are in the middle of a crowded, noisy, messy dept store- Destiny's Bride made me feel like a real bride!

I did a lot of research about where to go shopping for my wedding dress, I read SO many reviews and Destiny's Bride had the best reviews so I called and made an appointment, as suggested in some of the reviews that I read. My appointment was early Saturday morning and I had the whole store to myself, I started off by showing my consultant what type of dress I was thinking about, we went upstairs and she started pulling dresses, I think she pulled eight different dresses. I tried on the dress that my consultant thought I would like the best first and she was right, I LOVED the first dress but I had to try on other dresses. While trying on the other dresses I kept going back first dress, I thought the first dress was it but my consultant wanted me to try on one more dress based on my likes and dislikes of all the dresses I tried on. She brought the dress out and I thought "No way,this is not me," but then I tried it on and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for, it was perfect, it was THE dress! She knew exactly what I was looking for by piecing together my likes and dislikes on the other dresses. I would HIGHLY recommend Destiny's Bride, they listen and are not pushy, plus they have beautiful dresses and accessories! It was probably one of the easiest and most pleasent decisions I have made so far! Thank you Destiny's Bride!!! My wedding dress is my DREAM dress!

I absolutely loved every minute I spent in this shop. Linda helped me immensely and I felt like I made a friend, rather than had a sales person assisting me. Destiny's Bride was hands-down the best decision that I made. Sarah, Rose and Martha (the world's best seamstress) made my life so much easier, from start to finish. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted, and handed Sarah a picture. She looked at it, asked me what it was that I liked, and handed me a completely different dress. She then reconstructed the dress, added a few things, and although it was nothing like what I wanted, was perfect. I have no idea how she knew what I wanted when even I didn't know what was really what I wanted, but she did. The customer service was impeccable, and Martha made the dress fit like a glove. I told her I plan on bringing my entire wardrobe back to her to be tailored. She looked nervous, but if I could, I would!

After having a terrible experience with my first choice of wedding dress, I was a little skeptical of bridal shops. Linda knew what had happened previously and really took good care of me. She even tried to get me the original wedding dress that I wanted. It was unavailable but I fell even more in love with a dress at Destiny's. The new dress was 1000 times better than the first one! We visited a number of bridal stores...Destiny's Bridal not only has a fabulous selection of gowns, but they truly care about the bride and her special day. Linda was helpful from our first appointment to the final fitting. A huge plus is that Destiny's Bridal caps their alterations, so you don't get stuck with extra charges for alerations on your dress before your big day. Also if you are looking for beautiful accessories, Destiny's Bridal has a great selection. I loved my wedding gown and felt like the most beautiful bride.

Very helpful staff. Loved a dress here but it was out of my price range. Returned to purchase some jewelry but was not my style. I would love to have purchased things from them, but it just did not work out. I ended up purchasing a one of a kind lightly used Monique Lhullier dress for less than 1/5 of the price (at a bridal consignment shop) and was very happy. If I had the money though, I would probably have gotten the dress I fell in love with at Destiny's. And they are pleasant and great to work with.

I ordered my dress from I Do, I Do Bridal and it of course closed down before my dress arrived. I called Destiny's in a panic after a recommendation from my Maid of Honor and another bridesmaid who both got their dresses there. They were able to squeeze me in and promised me that we would find a sample size within my budget and not to worry.
Destiny's is a beautiful shop, and the dresses are definitely pricey. The dress I ended up falling in love with was more beautiful than my original dress, and also a Monique Lhuillier Bliss (what girl doesn't love a designer find?). The sample was in great shape and Destiny's helped me out with the price due to my prior experience.
I also completed my alterations at Destiny's. My dress fit like a glove and I felt absolutely amazing. I did get my veil and sash at another store, as these accessories at Destiny's, although beautiful, were out of my price range. They did steam the veil for me even though it wasn't from their store.
I am so happy I ended up getting my dress here.

Lisa at Destiny's Bride is simply phenomenal. I can't say enough, and I will buy any future formal dresses there even if I'm just a guest at a wedding or cocktail party.

I am the maid of honor in a wedding, however I am recovering from a bad medical injury and surgery. Trying on dresses in crutches is no small task and can be incredibly overwhelming! Because of her wonderful reviews on Yelp I found Lisa. In all my years buying dresses (even my own wedding dress) I have never encountered someone so professional, responsive and exactly on target with what would fit me and also suit the wedding style of my dear friend (the bride, who is 2,000 miles away).

When the color selection of the exact dress we wanted was a bit different than what the bride was looking for, Lisa immediately worked with the manufacturer to get it ahead of schedule for the next seasons color palette. WOW! I am so pleased with the color fabric, quality, price, style selection, fit and total experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lisa...

The moral of the story is you often have to kiss a lot of toads before you find an amazing formal dress boutique. If you have a formal event on the horizon just make Destiny's Bride your first stop - it will save you a lot of time.

First and foremost, brides will not find a better seamstress than those employed by Destiny's. My dress was originally strapless but I wanted to add sleeves and the work Martha did cannot be compared to anything I have ever seen before. The sleeves flowed so seamlessly with the dress that people were so surprised when I told them they were added on. It took a dress I loved and made it into a dress that was all my own. It was perfect. They have an amazing selection of dresses and something for everyone's budget. This was the only boutique I went to and I'm glad it was.

I cannot say enough great things about Destiny's Bride. I was in a crunch from the day I got engaged to the wedding date we set. Being that I have history working in the wedding industry, I already knew the time frame you needed to comfortably order a dress and have time for alterations. That being said these ladies made it happen in 18 weeks for a dress that should have taken 22 weeks! Alterations were capped at a dollar amount which I REALLY appreciated because I don't think any other salon offers that. My experience from my first appointment was amazing. I was the only appointment there on a Sunday afternoon. It made it for a really relaxing appointment, one where it was quiet, and the focus was on me and MY day. The fact that I was able to have an experience like that, I knew almost right away I didn't want to go anywhere else to get a dress. My consultant was wonderful. Everything I thought I loved and wanted, well, let's just say I didn't like and looked awful on me. She went out on a limb and went against everything I said I didn't like initially and told me to just have an open mind because she knew what was made for my body type. Low and behold, the first dress of her pick, it was my dream dress. From the moment I put it on, I just knew. I have never felt more beautiful and more special in any piece of clothing I've ever worn, and I'm pretty sure that is exactly what your wedding dress is supposed to make you feel like. I'm so glad she got me to step out of my comfort zone. Every single comment and bit of feedback I've gotten about my wedding dress was that I was absolutely breath taking at my wedding. My now husband even told me, "I don't think you could have found something to compliment you and your body better. You picked something that you look absolutely stunning in". For me, that's all I needed to hear. **Only down side was not getting a return call for dress updates. I had to call once a week to check in, and they would update me.

Rose at Destiny's Bride was exceptional! She was professional, helpful, attentive and warm. I would definitely recommend Destiny's Bride to anyone that wants a quality wedding dress with experienced staff.

Destiny's bride provided excellent service. The dress was exactly what was ordered and in the right size. Dress arrived in time for wedding. Alterations were less than the maximum quoted and were top quality. The salon isn't cheap but quality and service were top notch.

Knew their stuff about dresses and what would look good on me. Did an excellent job with the fittings. My only complaint is that they told me my dress would be in about 3 weeks earlier than when it really arrived.

I purchased my dress 10 months in advance of my wedding and it did not arrive until 3 1/2 weeks before my wedding. They blamed the designer, but my belt (which was from a different designer) didn't arrive until the week of my wedding, so I'm really not sure what happened there. Besides that, after alterations the dress ended up fitting a lot differently than I was made aware of when I purchased it. I was looking for a modified A-line dress and when I first tried on my dress I wasn't that impressed as it looked a lot more mermaid/trumpet style on me, but then Lisa (the owner) said that they hem their dresses from the waist vs. the bottom and pinned it that way to show me. It completely changed the shape of the dress on me to be more like the modified A-line style that I was after and at that point I decided to purchase the dress. When I went to my alterations appointment and asked them about hemming from the waist they laughed and said that they NEVER hem from the waist and didn't understand why Lisa would say that. So they hemmed from the bottom and the dress ended up being more like the mermaid/trumpet shape that I was trying to avoid and didn't flatter my body at all. The dress also ended up being a lot more low cut than I anticipated and the seamstress had to take fabric from the bottom and sew it onto the top for more coverage. I was also told by Lisa not to wear a bra because they would add enough boning that I wouldn't need one and unfortunately that ended up being terrible advice. They did add boning to the top and my bust looked okay when I was first zipped in, but as soon as I started moving around the day of my wedding, my bust began to sag and in many pictures my chest area looks extremely unflattering. I'm so heartbroken because you wait your whole life to wear your wedding dress and want to feel nothing but confident and beautiful the day of your wedding, but instead I felt extremely self-conscious.

I rate Destiny's overall by the quality of service I received by the owner, Lisa. I initially bought the dress from another woman (can't remember her name) and she was very sweet, kind and knowledgeable. But when I went for my fitting, Lisa was a trainwreck. She was an hour late to open up the shop, and I had flown into AZ from NY specifically for this fitting. She spent the entire time talking about her own wedding, not to mention she reeked of cigarette smoke. She and the seamstress were touching my VERY delicate dress with their hands that ultimately left grease marks all over it. They allowed the beading to fall on the plain part of the dress, leaving small tears all over the dress. It was an absolute disaster. Ultimately, they had to order brand new fabric from NYC, overnight it to Scottsdale and completely REMAKE the bottom of my dress that they ruined 10 DAYS before my wedding in NY! Ultimately, I asked that Lisa not handle my dress any more, and that Tasha take it from there. She was a rockstar and made it happen. Tasha was in constant communication every day, multiple times a day via text until the dress made it to my house in DC. Ultimately, it was perfect and looked stunning. My suggestion: if you're going to shop at Destiny's (which I suggest you do because their dresses are outstanding), DO NOT deal with Lisa. She's an absolute joke. Tasha is the only one to work with! She's awesome and I wish her all the best.

They carry great dresses, and they're decent at ordering them for you. Once the dress comes in, though, they suggest all sorts of alterations that you don't actually need. I LOVED my dress pre-alterations, and $380 later, after being convinced I needed the whole dress taken in, and boning added (worst idea ever), I wanted to cry! Don't let them work with fabrics they're not used to, or they'll screw it up. If you find the dress of your dreams here, go ahead and buy it, but take it elsewhere for alterations! :(

Horrible, Humiliating Experience!

We have been texting back and forth about their trunk show. We made an appointment for 4 pm today. When I walked in the store, it took a A few minutes for the lady to come up front. She looked me up and down and rolled her eyes, and introduced herself (with an attitude). She asked my budget (after disclosing their dresses max at $20,000) and I said let’s start with $3,500. She pointed me to the closeout rack and another rack. When I asked for clarification she said “they’re all mixed in but have tags.”

I asked “how does this work if I want to try something on?” She said “if you’re able to get it down theb you just try it on, or you can call for me and I’ll see if I can get it down.” She took off to the back room.

My appointment was for the dressed that were arriving yesterday for the trunk show. I was so appalled I left. I have never been so humiliated or treated with such disrespect when visiting a retail store or a wedding dress shop. With so many stores to choose from, do not waste your time on this disrespectful store.
