It really does not get better than Destination Weddings in Portugal. Rita and her team are amazingly talented, detail oriented, empathetic, and do absolutely anything they can to make your dreams come true. Trying to coordinate a wedding from the other side of the world (Washington DC) is hard, some might call it a gamble. But I say this honestly, they put together a wedding that we would not have been able to dream up! It was something straight out of a fairytale. From the start, they are incredibly engaging and really put the time and effort into getting to know you. They consulted us on every decision, but gave us the best of the best to choose from. We chose to trust them with direction and choices, and we have no regrets. All of their recommendations were of the highest quality and taste. They were able to take the smallest expression of likes/wants and give them life. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Everything from the catering (fantastic food and even better service), to the music (we adore Tiago), to the flowers (oh my goodness the flowers!), to the line up of events, to the photographer (Lily is an artist), to hair and makeup (can't say enough about Jordan and Dorota) and more, was perfection. If you are considering having your wedding in Portugal, there is no one better to trust than this team. I don't think you'll be able to match this level of professionalism, dedication and organization. From their beautiful work, it is very apparent that they love what they do and really put their heart into creating magical moments for their customers. We are so thankful to them for memories neither us nor our guests will forget. -

Nous avons choisi de confier l'organisation de notre mariage à Destination Wedding in Portugal après avoir rencontré Rita à Cascais et ce fut la meilleure décision que nous ayons prise. Tout a été merveilleusement organisé. Je recommanderai maintenant toujours à mes proches d'avoir recours à une wedding planneuse, quel confort pour les mariés ! Rita a littéralement sauvé notre mariage cet été 2021 en nous trouvant, huit jours avant le mariage (heureusement qu'on se mariait en semaine), un autre lieu que celui initialement choisi, où ne nous pouvions plus l'organiser à cause d'un renforcement des règles sanitaires liées au Covid pour les événements en intérieur. Le nouveau lieu était magique. Rita a en outre un carnet d'adresses de formidables prestataires : mention spéciale pour Lily et Sergio de Lisbon Wedding photographers qui nous ont fait des photos et une vidéo sublimes ainsi que pour la fleuriste qui a fait une magnifique décoration florale suivant nos orientations. Rita a géré les imprévus de dernière minute avec efficacité et calme, elle nous a par exemple trouvé des chauffages extérieurs et des plaids au dernier moment, car la météo était plus fraiche que prévue. Mille mercis à Rita, nous avons eu le mariage de nos rêves grâce à elle et tous nos invités ont été enchantés. -

Em outubro de 2019 celebrámos o nosso casamento no Penha Longa Resort com Destination Weddings in Portugal, e devo confessar que toda a equipa foi incansável, com uma dedicação e organização que nos deixou muito contentes. A Wedding Planer , Marine, foi sempre muito atenciosa e sempre disponível para nos ajudar, e atenta a todos os detalhes de forma muito dedicada e profissional.
A localização, e toda a decoração do casamento estava lindíssima, com pormenores de muito bom gosto.
Obrigado à Destination Weddings in Portugal por tornarem o nosso sonho uma realidade. Sem duvida o melhor dia das nossas vidas.

Mon mariage de Rêve
Nous nous sommes marié à l’hôtel Senhora Da Guia à Cascais au Portugal. Ce jour là n’aurais pas été aussi merveilleux, splendide et magique sans Rita Fidalgo !!!! Et bien évidement toutes sont équipe de Destination Weddings In Portugal ♥️
Grace à eux l’un des plus beaux jours de ma vie c’est réalisé.
Rita m’a conseillée, a réussi à être à la hauteur de mes exigences.
Ne parlant pas le portugais elle m’a été d’une aide précieuse, et tout était plus facile.
Mes invités ont été époustoufler par ce mariage.
Pour moi le plus important était que tout se passe correctement mais surtout que mes invités s’amusent !! Et ça n’a pas manqué.
Alors j’aimerai encore remercier Rita et son équipe, m’a superbe photographe aussi Lily de lisbonweddingphotographer et le merveilleux Hugo Sousa pour cet incroyable film de mariage.

With having a wedding abroad I was a little skeptical on how everything would work but Rita made all worries go away instantly. We are very thankful to Destination Weddings in Portugal for all of your hard work in making our wedding such an amazing and beautiful day for us and our guests. Rita and the team attended all our needs 100%. Thanks to their hard work and attention to details, we didn’t have to worry about anything at all! Everything was under control and looked after.
The venue looked gorgeous, with fairy-tale style and exactly how we wanted it to be on our special day! The food was delicious, and the service was simply outstanding.
I highly recommend DWP, if you want to spend your day within beauty and harmony. -

Everything was perfect! I didn't had to worry about a thing on my Wedding Day! Rita is always on top of everything, she is like a superwoman! I had a beach ceremony in Guincho beach and the reception was in Senhora Da Guia Boutique Hotel, every little detail was extraordinary! I owe it all to Destination Weddings in Portugal! -

We would like to say a big thank you to Rita and everybody at Destination Weddings. They made our dream day a reality. Rita really understood our vision. It felt completely natural to put 100% trust in her and she made all our wishes come true. Communicating with Rita from another country was never a problem, she was always available to answer any questions, big or small. Having last minute worries and not being in the country wasn’t a problem with Rita on hand.
All the suppliers were fantastic! Simplistic was our vision with the flowers and they couldn’t have been more beautiful. With little stress, they did everything perfectly. Tiago was a fantastic DJ, on hand for the whole day. With just a brief playlist to help guide his choices, he played fantastic music to suit all, from the afternoon into the early hours of the morning!
The food….unbelievable! Probably one of the most lasting memories for our guests. The food was an important factor for my husband and I, his mother is a chef after all! We were certainly not let down by the standard of the cuisine at Senhora da Guia.
Rita and the whole team made our day go smoothly. They were on hand from the morning, I didn’t need to think about anything! I don’t know how Rita does It, she is superwoman! I cannot say enough about her, she made me feel so valued and listened to every detail. I am very thankful to have had her plan our special day. We were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment.
Guests repeatedly tell us our wedding was the most relaxed, authentic wedding they have ever been to. Our only sadness is we can’t relive the day again! -

Lilia Sent on 10/18/2017My fairytale wedding, that’s how I tell everyone about my Big day! A simple ‘thank you’ can’t begin to express our gratitude for everything you and your staff did to make our day truly perfect! I think we are the luckiest couple to fall into the hands of Rita and the Destination Weddings in Portugal team! For us was very important to plan everything online, because we currently live in Dubai and didn’t have time to come to Portugal before wedding. Communication with Rita was very easy, she always replied straight away and was available at all time, imagine the time difference and etc. There were no worries at all during key moments, Rita brought all my phantasy into reality, even magically found the way to work out all the disagreements between me and my husband when it comes to choose the cake for example. Rita helped us to choose the right location for our venue depends on number of guests, the style of the venue and our other preferences, and it was incredible, my first time to be there was at my wedding and I felt myself as a real princess going to get married in the beautiful villa by the ocean! The decorations, flowers, illumination and the most important – dinner, deserve a special praise! My bride bouquet was very special… I just shared with Rita my favorite flowers and colors, but I could’t imagine that she will go beyond and make it so significant. Every type of flower had a very deep meaning for me through out my life. The dinner was a truly a incredible experience! Not only because a mouthwatering food but also because of the level of service. Such a small details like me and my husband was served simultaneously made a big impression! Destination Weddings in Portugal not only fulfilled my expectations, went beyond that but even managed to surprise us with an unexpected fireworks during cake cutting! I can’t find the right words to describe our feelings at that moment! Lastly I just have to mention our singer and the DJ, those guys broke my heart!
