We danced all night long!
Sam was amazing! He kept the dance floor busy ALL. NIGHT. LONG. I had so many of my guests comment on how they have never experienced such an amazing DJ at a wedding! He knew how to get every part of our crowd onto the dance floor, and when the older crowd left, he knew how to cater to the younger age group! I literally cannot recommend Sam enough because he truly made my wedding a night I will never forget. Without him, my wedding would have been great, but having Sam bring the energy to the dance floor made the whole thing absolutely, incredibly beyond my wildest dreams. I will cherish the wedding itself the rest of my life, largely due to the fact I got to dance with guests all night long!
Sam is super easy to work with - I spoke with him a few times on the phone and his questionnaire pre-wedding is very thorough. He was very knowledgeable about the venue, and truly made everything seamless on the day. He really knows what he's doing! My biggest tip if you hire him - make sure you have a good number of songs that you request from him! He got the vibe of our crowd perfectly and I suspect that is, in part, due to the 20 ish songs we had included in a request list. Not all of them got played, but it was a great starting point and he played songs that fit into that list SO WELL. It seemed like he knew my music taste better than me by the end of the night!
15/10 please let Sam give you the wedding dance floor of your wildest dreams!

Great dj!
Destination DJ was a great vendor that we hired for the biggest day of our lives thus far. Sam was so easy to communicate with and made things so simple. Even without a run through prior (decided on our end it wasn't needed), everything flowed flawlessly. Would HIGHLY recommend hiring if you want a party going all night long! Photobooth was also a great addition - they provided a photo album with all the photos are guest took which was fun to see after the event.

Simply the Best!
Wowza! Simply the best! From our first communication to the last song of the night, Sam and Destination DJ were fabulous!! Sam kept the night moving by being an amazing MC. We were able to plan our music before our wedding which ensured we danced all night to our favorites. Sound quality during the ceremony and dancing was perfect. We added the Photo Booth and so glad we did. Our guests loved it and getting the printed pictures was amazing! Highly, highly recommend Destination DJ. You will not be disappointed!!

Sam is AMAZING! 100% Recommend
Sam was amazing! We booked him on recommendation from the venue and he made our wedding reception flow so easy! He brought the Photo Booth which was a hit! Those memories will be something we cherish. His son ran the Photo Booth and did a wonderful job. We got to pick the background and there were awesome props! Within 48 hours of the reception we had the digital link to our files. We had a mistake on the title of the photo booth cards (our error for not catching) and Sam had new files to us so quickly and offered to send new prints.
Sam kept the reception flowing smoothly and easily! He is great at his job. He kept the night moving with ease, and just rolled with whatever was happening. He kept the party alive and when we changed our private last dance to a public one he made it a super special moment!!! We could not have asked for more.

We can't stop talking about how much fun we had!
Sam did a phenomenal job at our wedding at Whitefish Mountain Resort last week! He was responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. Sam's experience doing weddings at WMR was super helpful, especially given the different set-ups needed for the ceremony at the summit and the reception at the base lodge. We had some eclectic song requests from our guests that Sam sprinkled in throughout his set and the dance floor was packed all night. It was the best party and so many of our guests commented on how awesome the DJ was. Thank you so, so much, Sam!!

Made my dance floor legendary!
If you want a memorable wedding with great music and an amazing vibe - Sam is your guy. When I consulted with Destination DJ for my wedding, I told him that he would have the hardest job at the wedding because I live to dance and I wanted my dance floor to be legendary- and he delivered! There wasn’t a single bad song played, and I am still getting compliments! The dance floor was my favorite part of my wedding.

Unparalleled experience for our wedding!!
We booked Sam almost a year and a half ago as one of our first vendors for a Whitefish wedding based off all the positive reviews. Those reviews, though all five stars, didn’t even come close to the experience we had with Sam for our wedding day.
We were so fortunate in a few surprises and last-minute additions to our ceremony (a bagpiper and my brother playing the guitar) which affected parts of Sam and my discussions on the music for our processional and recessional - without revealing the surprise, Sam dealt with all the changes, the endless rain affecting the outside setup, extending our party by an hour… I could go on. Sam is not only one of the most talented DJs, but one of the kindest individuals who made our day so fun and so special.
What people tend to forget is you’re not just getting a DJ, you’re also getting your MC for the night. Sam did an incredible job introducing all the speeches, making all the announcements, and keeping us to an amazing timeline that kept getting pushed back because of the rain (and an unexpected illness by me!). Sam just had a smile on his face and prioritized everyone else.
So many of our guests made comments on the absolute bangers and fun times on the dance floor. I wish I could relive my day again! Thank you so so so much, Sam!

Kept everyone on the dance floor!
From the very beginning, Sam was extremely easy to work with and responsive to all of our questions. On the day of our wedding, Sam was on time and ready to go, and go with the flow. We had a little hiccup that required us to change the order of things and Sam handled that with ease. He played both songs that we had requested ahead of time, day-of requests from guests, and some of his own. The dance floor was full of energy the whole evening!
I really appreciate Sam's positive attitude throughout the process and day-of. He truly looked like he was having a blast with us! I highly recommend Destination DJ to anyone getting married in his service area.

Pure Awesomeness!!!
First of all, I assumed it would be extremely hard working with a DJ from Texas to Montana. Well it was not. He made sure to email us way ahead of time for all of our information and type of music we would like, plus any other side traditions we follow. I ended up changing a few songs literally two days prior to the wedding and he went above and beyond by playing those changes. So a big thank you for making our night awesome! If you are hesitating trusting him from miles away then don't, he will make it a smooth process and an awesome wedding.

Sam was incredible! He showed up early, touched base on our checklist to ensure their weren’t any last minute changes and was ready to go when our wedding started. His sound system was super clear during our ceremony and sounded great during social hit and dancing. Though the process to book and schedule him was smooth, the thing I looked most about Sam was his ability to keep the crowd entertained and on the dance floor. Once he found out that he found out a good portion of our group was from Wisconsin, he broke out a polka song here and there. Truly an incredible experience and a hell of a DJ. 10/10 would recommend and book again!

The best wedding DJ we've ever experienced!
Sam from Destination DJ was absolutely incredible! We got so many compliments about him at our wedding. We've been to many weddings where the DJ was not great and it kind of ruined the vibes but Sam was the exact opposite. He adhered to all my requests (which was a lot) and made it so fun because he mixed the music together. He made sure to announce and explain certain things to our guests which helped everything go seamlessly. We also used them for our photobooth and loved it because they provide a guestbook and we can see all the photos our guests took! I cannot recommend Destination DJ enough!

I booked through Destination DJ for our big day. Damian was assigned as our DJ and did a TREMENDOUS job. I cannot say one negative thing about our experience with him. He got everyone and kept everyone on the dance floor and there were no hiccups in our song selections. I was less than decisive with my song choices and he was flexible and allowed for last-minute changes. We also got the photo booth and it was so fun. They made a book with all of the printouts. I would highly recommend booking with Destination DJ.

Amazing, wonderful, professional
I would highly HIGHLY recommend Sam to anyone getting married in Montana. We got married at Whitefish Mountain Resort in August of 2020 and he was so helpful, familiar with the venue, responsive, professional, friendly, and overall wonderful. He timed out my songs perfectly with no supervision by me (the bride) day of ceremony which is a very stressful time trying to remember last minute details, we only had one phone call prior to our wedding day where Sam and I discussed everything. Traveling from MN to MT for my wedding (not to mention during COVID!) was insanely chaotic and stressful but with Sam's help I felt some weight lifted from my shoulders which is what every bride wants and deserves. Sam brings a lot of value as a DJ as he possesses familiarity with Montana venues, years of experience judging timing of the music and song selections, and much needed knowledgeable feedback regarding any questions or ideas you have for your day. He even consulted me on which song to choose for walking down the aisle and I am SO glad I took his advice. I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day or check on him he just showed up and executed my ceremony and reception flawlessly. He is so reliable and a great listener he kept my small COVID dance floor lively and fun for my guests playing songs I had not requested but was very impressed by. My husband absolutely loved Sam and bonded with him over the course of the day making it feel like we had a friend DJing. Sam did not play any of the songs I asked him not to and did everything I requested of him. His song selections, experience, professionalism, and reliability all make him a no brainer choice for any occasion! I cannot speak highly enough of my experience using his services.

We highly recommend Destination DJ! We hired Destination DJ for our wedding in September and worked with Sam. Sam was professional, patient, very kind, and helpful. The questionnaire that he had us fill out was the perfect way for him to get to know our music wants/needs. Sam was quick to respond and available for questions whenever we needed.
Sam provided microphones and music for the ceremony and was an excellent emcee and DJ for the reception. He was fantastic at making announcements and keeping the night on track with our schedule. He was charismatic and fun! The music that he played was perfect and provided one hell of a dance party for us and our guests! We heard so many complements about how great our DJ was and how much fun they had on the dance floor.

We loved Destination DJ!
Out of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, Sam was by far the best! Nothing but good things to say about Destination DJ, you won't be let down if you use him for you wedding. The sound quality for our ceremony was awesome and he really got the crowd up and dancing throughout the entire reception. I was so pre-occupied with dealing with other things the day of the wedding, and I didn't have to worry at all with Sam. He showed up on time, set up, and followed through with everything that we had talked about prior to the wedding. I also appreciated the about 3 weeks before the wedding he reached out to me to set-up a phone call to go over everything. Wow Sam exceeded our expectations at our destination wedding in West Glacier! My husband and I were torn b/w a DJ vs band. The shining reviews we read about Destination DJ made it an easy decision for us though! Sam is organized, responsive, professional, and overall just a nice, fun guy who wants everyone to have a great time. Not to mention, he is flexible and his packages are budget-friendly. He knows how to pick up on the crowd vibe and got our guests dancing all night long. It was amazing. We sent him a song list, and he followed it while being creative. His song remixes and transitions were really cool too! Our friends and family were so impressed and commented on how much fun it looked like Sam was having on stage! Party didn’t want to stop!
DJ Sam really worked with me to create the best atmosphere for my guests for our destination wedding. He made himself available to meet up with my husband and I even though we were only in town for a couple days when we first booked him.
From the ceremony prelude to the final song, Sam did a phenomenal job. He made sure to send me reminders about what music I wanted for every part of our wedding and that was so crucial! Sam also really made sure to feel the pulse of the crowd and what music they would like. The dance floor was far from empty! He was flexible while running our wedding and kept it light and fun. A number of our guests told me that they thought Sam did an amazing job and he looked to be having a blast!

Many people think that the DJ's job at a wedding is just to play music. This is not true. The DJ is there to control the flow of the entire event, keep the crowd moving and happy, and a GREAT DJ works hard behind the scenes during a wedding to coordinate with venues / vendors and the bride and groom to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch. Sam and Destination DJ are a prime example of what a great DJ should be. Sam didn't just show up to our wedding and play music. He showed up early, with a great, professional, positive attitude, coordinated with everyone, made sure everything was handled properly (we had some small issues with the venue, and Sam went out of his way to coordinate and resolve them before we were even made aware they existed!), and made our wedding as smooth and comfortable and easy for us as things could be. We would highly recommend Destination DJ for ANY sort of event! If you're looking for the best DJ in the Flathead, search no more. Destination DJ is the last call you'll need to make. Sam did such a great job at our wedding! As an emcee, he had the perfect personality for our crowd. Very fun and outgoing. He effectively called tables for the buffet, made announcements about the guest log, dessert, etc. He played the right music at the right time and we LOVED how he didn’t wait to play the dancing music until later in the night. He got the crowd up and dancing right away! When there was a lull, he would play the perfect song next to get people back on their feet. He accommodated song requests, stuck to our play/do not play list, even led our group in the Cupid Shuffle, and ended the night on a high note. Money well spent. I would highly recommend him!

Destination DJ from the booking to our wedding day was professional, kind, and willing to work with whatever we had planned. The day of our event we had less than ideal weather but they came prepared with an extra tent to make our ceremony extra special. It was such a luxury not to have to worry for one second at my event about the DJ - Sam did everything perfectly, nothing too loud, choice of music was always appropriate, and he was friendly and accommodating with all our needs. He was completely attentive to the activities of our event, and saw when someone was picking up the mic to talk or make announcement, and either stopped the music or lowered it to the perfect level. He is also a really nice person, and did not bring a big ego to the event, just great music and good timing. Cannot recommend enough!

Sam was absolutely amazing to work with. He was always very prompt when I had any questions that needed to be answered. He showed up early and made sure everything was set up perfectly. As soon as the dancing started the floor was packed for the rest of the night! Several guests commented on how awesome it was so have a DJ that wanted to keep the crowd entertained and dancing! Go with Destination DJ for your next event- you won't be disappointed.

Sam was hands-down the best DJ! He kept people dancing all night long. We have gotten feedback from numerous guests saying how great the music was and how they had the best time. We would highly recommend Destination DJ for any wedding reception or party requiring music. We planned our wedding from Wisconsin and Sam was readily available to answer any questions we had. We are so happy and impressed with our DJ choice. Thanks for a fantastic night, Sam!

Destination DJ was amazing.. They were available whenever I had questions, problems and helped with anything that I needed. They helped to make our day as memorable as it could possibly be. They are fun and energetic. They can really bring a crowd to thier feet.

We keep having this man back!!! Students request him. Sam is superb! Our Prom had 185 students out of 230 total students in the school show up for Prom. Destination DJ did some serious entertaining. The dance floor was full all the time until the prom was over. His rates are very reasonable for High school Prom budgets. EASY to work with. PROFESSIONAL. Sam has an easy to use website for contact info, contract information, invoice and communication for event.
