Sherri is the absolute best! She and her team made the entire planning process more seamless than I ever could have imagined. Working with her for over a year leading up to our wedding was truly a joy — she made the process so much fun while also keeping everything organized and stress-free. Her knowledge of all things wedding-related is unmatched, and she connected us with incredible vendors who were perfectly aligned with our vision!
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt more at ease than I ever thought possible because I knew Sherri had absolutely everything covered. She planned both our welcome event on the beach in Rosemary Beach and our wedding on the Western Green in Rosemary Beach — all while the forecast predicted nothing but rain. She moved quickly to prepare backup plans and made sure we had Plans A, B, and C ready to go at all times. Thankfully, the weather cleared, and we were able to enjoy both events almost exactly as we had envisioned.
Both events were beyond our wildest dreams, and we will cherish our wedding weekend forever. We still love hearing from friends and family that it was the best wedding they had ever attended — and we owe so much of that to Sherri and her incredible team!! -

Sherri and her team were absolutely amazing! She kept everything organized, handled every detail flawlessly, and communicated so well throughout the planning process. Our wedding day ran perfectly—we had our ceremony at the Town Hall and our reception at the Eastern Green, which involved a lot of logistics and transportation, but her team handled everything seamlessly. The planning day/vendor day a few months before the wedding was also incredibly helpful. We were able to truly enjoy every moment, and we couldn’t have done it without her! -

Our wedding day was truly picture-perfect, and that’s entirely thanks to Sherri and her incredible team. Her deep knowledge of the industry and strong relationships with top-tier vendors in the Florida Panhandle were invaluable—especially for planning a destination wedding. It was clear from the start that she is highly respected and trusted within the wedding community.

I can’t recommend Sherri enough! From helping us pick our (amazing) vendors, to coordinating a ceremony location change 20 minutes beforehand due to an unexpected storm, to setting up the most beautiful event - she is a rockstar. I could not imagine having my wedding without her and her team. We came back to our room at 1am after the wedding to all of our things organized, clean, and with a fresh piece of cake ready to enjoy. If you’re getting married in Florida, my biggest piece of advice is to hire her! -

Beyond Amazing
Sherri is amazing! My wife and I decided to get married at the Henderson and doing some research I emailed a few planners and Sherri called shortly after and was great for the start. As soon as I spoke to her I knew we were going to go with her. Living out of state and the couple visits we had in Destin, we met up with Sherri and met the vendors she suggested and we were not disappointed. During the whole planning process my wife got in a bad car accident and Sherri went above and beyond to help with anything we needed from her. Sherri and The Henderson along with Hannah Putynkowski made our special day perfect! Sherri's assistant Christine was amazing as well. I cannot recommend Sherri enough for anyone looking for a great coordinator. -

My husband and I got married on 11/11/22 and our weekend could not have happened without Sherri. She was hands down the best decision we made.
Immediately upon getting engaged, I started researching planners in the Destin area. We live out of state, so we knew finding the right planner would be imperative to our planning process, and executing the wedding of our dreams. After researching quite thoroughly, I set up a call with Sherri- the first, and turns out only, planner I talked to. Immediately upon chatting, I knew Sherri was the one for us. Her kind, friendly and sweet demeanor immediately put me at ease, and we were laughing within the first few minutes together. Her calm, cool and collected approach to planning, combined with being extremely tactical and organized, was the exact right fit for us. On top of being an extremely knowledgeable and professional planner, she also just knows everyone there is to know in the Destin area. Not once during planning did I have to question whether our team was the best in the business- it was apparent since day one. She made sure every vendor we worked with was right for us and our vision, and had backups on backups of recommendations otherwise. Sherri is extremely responsive, action oriented, and always makes time for her Bride and Groom, regardless of the countless other couples she is working with. We always felt prioritized, which is important when planning a destination wedding. We got married at The Henderson, which Sherri recommended, and I can't say enough good things. It was one of our favorite places before, and now we have even more wonderful memories attached. Weekend of, Sherri was 100% present, dialed in, communicative, and calm. Because of this, I knew everything would go perfectly and it kept my bridal stress at a minimum.
Sherri has worked very hard to earn respect within the Destin wedding community, and is beyond deserving of the wonderful reputation she has built. We still keep in touch, and plan to get lunch next time we are in town. She has become a lifelong friend and I can't recommend her enough. -

Simply amazing! I cannot give enough praises enough about Sherri, she truly was a God-send! From our very first conversation all the way up to the day after our wedding, she was responsive, professional and kind. She made us feel valued and as if no question was too small and made the entire experience seamless. Sherri is very well-connected with many vendors and venues throughout the area and is clearly well-respected. She has an incredible eye for detail and we were blown away by her support, calm demeanor and pure talent to think ten steps ahead of any problems that may arise. Its amazing to sit back after the wedding is all over and realize how much work she put in behind the scenes to make sure our day went perfectly! We were able to enjoy the day completely knowing Sherri had it handled. You will not be disappointed with Destin To Wed as your partner, look no further! -

Sherri made planning a destination wedding a breeze. She put me at ease through the whole planning process. She suggested amazing vendors to us and she always had great tips on how to save some money! From day one of planning she felt like a long lost friend- she was always there for us. The rehearsal and wedding day were so enjoyable and relaxing because I knew that Sherri and her team had every little detail under control. I cannot rave enough about Sherri. She was a God-send in so many ways. My husband, family, and even wedding guests continue to sing her praises. Comments I consistently heard from others during and after my wedding weekend included: "Wow, can I fly her up north for my wedding?!" "Who was your wedding planner? She was incredible!" "Oh, thank God Sherri is here!!! Everything will be better now!" "That woman is fantastic at her job." "Can we please be friends with her? I actually really want to be friends with her." "Gosh, she is incredible." and so many more!
Sherri knows the area and all of the vendors so well and is so well-connected. It made our experience seamless. She is incredibly gifted at being able to sniff out hiccups before they become hiccups. She does a lot of work behind the scenes (which we found out a lot about later!) and knows what is necessary to keep you in the loop about and what is unnecessary stress. She has an ability to read people very well and can adapt her approach based on that information. She is professional yet feels like your best friend. She is your cheerleader and your biggest supporter. You truly feel like you have a VIP MVP with her on your team. As bride who had COVID hit right in the middle of wedding planning, I still felt like everything would be okay with Sherri on my team (even if she felt just as lost on her end!). Her day-of timeline is incredibly thorough and she DOES. NOT. MISS. DETAILS. I, myself, am a very detail-oriented person, and I was blown away at Sherri's calming demeanor, attention to detail, and fierce support. She is also very well able to tastefully handle sensitive situations involving family members, finances, etc.
I remember just a month prior to my wedding, the stress with COVID, wedding planning, family, etc. was at its breaking point. I called Sherri late that night in tears, and she answered right away. She was able to calm me down almost immediately, and I had never felt as much relief as I did in that moment right after hanging up. Her genuine priority is to be there for her brides when they need her.
To make matters even better, we used her husband as our videographer. We have already wanted that video about 100 times. It is stunningly beautiful! My husband and I could not want to be friends with a couple more than we do Sherri and Michael. I wish I could have Sherri manage all events in my life! And have Michael to document them!
You will never be disappointed with Sherri. I can promise you that! :) She is the one to book. -

Sherri is beyond AMAZING! She is so positive and when we had to reschedule our wedding, she made it so much easier to move our date. She is super organized and has a great relationship with all of the vendors she works with. All of the vendors would brag how amazing she was to work with. She created an awesome timeline to keep everyone on the same track and contacted vendors where they needed to be and when. We could relax during the wedding process since Sherri was amazing and took care of everything! She understood the vision for our wedding and made our wedding dreams come true. Sherri is a 100/10 and you need to have her be part of your wedding planning process! -

Sherri Kuhn is an absolute amazing wedding planner. From the beginning she was always so professional. We had a great first meeting for wedding planning and then I can't even begin to express how thankful I was to have her planning my big day. A hurricane hit our area just 3 days before our wedding and Sherri held everything together. I can honestly say theres no way we would've pulled off this day without her. She kept the entire wedding party in line and made sure the night was perfect. Hiring Sherri was hands down the best decision we made and definitely money well spent!!! -

Sherri was assigned to us as our day of coordinator at an all inclusive venue in Destin, FL. While I did not like the venue by the time it was all said and done, Sherri was amazing. We had one of those weddings where nothing went according to plan. Despite all the issues with the venue and the many hiccups that came our way, Sherri made the day turn out great! She adapted to every issue and made my life so much easier. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just hired Sherri from the beginning! -
