We got married on 12/30/22 and had Desserts by Design do our wedding cake. I wanted a cupcake tower with a small 6" cake on top. I wanted to save the cake on top for our one year anniversary. We discussed having a second 6" cake that would be a duplicate of our top tier cake so that we would have something to cut at our reception. At our cake tasting we selected chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and a marble poundcake for the 6" cakes. It was hard to make a selection as everything was great. I was extremely pleased with how everything turned out. Everything was delicious. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful. I can't wait for our one year anniversary to eat our top tier cake. -

We worked with Desserts by Design as a part of a package through MEI catering. The communication was super easy.
The cake was beautiful all day. It was moist and flavorful. We went with raspberry swirl and chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Everyone loved it. The photos show the raspberry juice running a little, but Desserts by Design is hardly responsible for the 90+ degree mid July weather and did warn me that this was a possibility by the end of the night.
I cannot recommend Desserts by Design enough. -

Josanna was the sweetest soul, and worked with us to make exactly the cake we wanted for our special day! We knew we could entrust her to make our vision come to life, and to communicate with our florist to get loose flowers and leaves onto our cake. The cake was also DELICOUS! -

Our wedding cake was everything we wanted and more. We took our inspiration photos to the cake tasting and she was able to recreate what we requested. Not only was the execution perfect but the taste was IMPECCABLE!!!! It was moist, fresh and delicious. This cake definitely exceeded our expectations. -

Josanna worked with us to make our dream wedding cake. It turned out exactly as we wanted. My husband and I got married at NVCC so the cake was included but we added upgrades which were very reasonable in price. We got the chocolate chip lb with cannoli filling & red velvet with cream cheese. Both were great and we got many compliments on how good it tasted! We also use them regularly for special occasions and have never had a bad experience. -

My goal was to have donuts incorporated into our wedding cake and Josanna did an amazing job turning my Pinterest dream cake into a reality! She was wonderful to work with, super flexible when we had to make changes to the guest count, and available when I had questions. I still can't get over how beautiful and delicious our cake was! Everyone loved the cake just as much as we did!! -

Desserts by Design did our wedding cake. They were the recommended vendor from our venue so we figured we’d try them. I am so incredibly happy with their work! Not only did they make the most delicious wedding cake ever (complete with two layers of cannoli cake and one layer of red velvet cake), but the cake was gorgeous! My favorite part of the cake, and the thing everyone commented on, was the two little paw prints that they added for our dogs. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. You also can’t beat their price point. I would highly recommend! -

Everyone loved our cake, it was delicious and beautiful. Josanna was so great and easy to work with. I didn’t have much time to focus on the cake so I went with my venues recommended bakery. I emailed her a few cake photos, we had a quick phone call, decided on a design and how many blueberries she’d need to make it happen. Josanna let us buy and drop off blueberries to save some cash. I still can’t believe how easy and affordable it was to have such a delicious and beautiful wedding cake. -

Our venue then partnered with Desserts by Design. Although some of our original choices were not available or included through Desserts by Design, Monika worked with us to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our cake. It was absolutely beautiful. -

I changed my mind at least twice and Doris accommodated every change with a pleasant attitude. The cupcake cake turned out amazing and taste delicious she even added in two parents cakes, which I didn't know that I wanted until I'd seen them :) I would totally recommend this bakery. -

Desserts by design came with my package at falls manor catering, And all I can say is vanilla or lemon with some razzle dazzle in the middle..When we went to cake tasting we tried some of everything but that vanilla and lemon cake with raspberry filling just set us off and we fell in love,we actually ordered another tier to have 2 vanilla and 2 lemon..dessert by design will not disappoint you..thank you so much -

Alyssa Sent on 09/28/2015Desserts by Design were great to work with. After sitting down in their bakery to go over our vision for the cake (which was quite simple), they nailed it. The only issues were some miscommunication about whether we would be providing the fake flowers for decorations or whether the bakery would be. Once we got it sorted out, everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend--the cake was super tasty! -

Ashley Sent on 10/14/2016We used Desserts by Design for our wedding cake only because the original bakery we were supposed to use closed down. Two weeks before the wedding we switched to Desserts by Design which is nerve wrecking to happen right before the big day. The staff was very nice when we met with them. They were open to all different ideas. We liked our original design but decided to use one of theirs and add our little bit of us into it. We really wanted the pound cake to be a strawberry swirl cake like our last bakery. They promised they would buy fresh strawberries and mix it into the cake with their already little bit of pureed strawberries at the bottom of the cake. The day of the wedding the cake was absolutely beautiful and everyone raved about the design. Unfortunately the actual cake I feel is dry and not very tasty and there was not ONE fresh strawberry mixed into our strawberry swirl cake. Only the pureed strawberries at the bottom like before. If you are looking for a beautifully designed cake then use Desserts by Design but the actual taste of cake needs improvement.
