  Perfect planner for my destination wedding

  My husband and I live in FLorida but I'm from San Pedro originally. This was a destination wedding for us and his side of family and without Desiree we would have been lost. She made our wedding planning and actual wedding a great experience. Professional, organized and thoughtful. She respected our budget and made such great suggestions on all the little details I would have missed. She was always available via email and phone. I showed her a picture and some brief comments of flowers and cake and she made my dream happen. I would highly recommend her if you are planning a big event, you won't be disappointed.

  Stunning designs, easy to work with, incredible value

  The best recommendation that I can give for Desiree is that a month after the wedding, our guests (including my mother and mother-in-law), are still speaking fondly about our flower arrangements!
  
  I found Desiree on Wedding Wire and immediately met with her at her home studio. She was nice, professional, and easily understood my vision. Of all our vendors, she was the easiest to work with--very straightforward with fantastic results. We communicated several times before the wedding about the arrangements, boutaineers with a personal touch, and bouquets. Desiree even assisted my mother-in-law with flower arrangements for our rehearsal dinner in Long Beach, and dropped them off at the restaurant. She even decorated our cake and stayed until we arrived back at the boat to witness our "first look" of the gorgeous ballroom.
  
  Desiree helped us achieve our glamorous Art Deco theme at the Queen Mary, and the church, cocktail hour, and reception arrangements were stunning. We tried to keep as many arrangements as we could after the wedding, and even brought them and my bouquet on our mini-moon. They lasted for 8 days!
  
  I'd love to have another big event just so we can work with Desiree again! Thank you for your style and enthusiasm.

  Desiree was a god-send.

  Working with Desiree was wonderful. She has outstanding experience in her field and knows the ins and outs of coordinating a wedding. I'm a bit of a control freak, but I never hesitated leaving any of the planning to Desiree because I knew that she was on top of it. I couldn't have asked for a better day-of coordinator.

  Event planner Angel

  This lady is an awesome amazing event planner. She was my angel. As mother of the bride living in a different state I would not of been able to have such a magical day without her guidance & expertise. Prior to the big event, Desiree was very responsive, professional & an excellent listener. Very organized & cooperative every step of the way. She coordinated all of the vendors. She provided a detailed timeline. The venue was magically turned into the perfect & classy wedding reception area. With her help I was able to relax & enjoy the experience of the wedding day. Highly recommend this company for any special occasion

  Knows What You Need

  Desiree is like the best friend that throws you a dream party, because she understands what you want. From someone who works in theater, I didn’t want to have to micro manage the vendors with every tiny detail. She takes everything in to account when putting together your party, and only gets the details she needs from you, rather than overwhelm you with every single thing. For example, we did buffet style, so rather than leave the table bare, she put down gold place settings. It’s actually what I wanted. She had ideas that matched my dream, and also relayed it to the vendors. So, it took a lot off my plate. Two weeks before the wedding, I just had to relax!

  Desiree is worth every penny....

  Des not only was our florist for our engagement party, our welcome party, the wedding and the reception, she was our wedding coordinator, and simolymthe best. We are not easy to please and had very specific expectations for every part of our wedding weekend. Des exceeded every one of our expectations. She is exceptional in her planning skills, a godsend with finding and negotiating with vendors, patient, creative and a wonderful, caring person. She found every vendor we needed, and everyone she found for us was fabulous. She negotiated with our venue (Lake Arrowhead) and busted the catering manager on every inflated charge she tried to pass by us. It hadn’t rained in nearly on year before, but of course the evening before and day of our wedding a fantastic storm moved in and drenched the place. As soon as the forecast changed, Des found and hired a company to tent the grounds, and dealt with the management of the resort to ensure: 1) the tenting vendor was given unfettered access to the grounds; and, 2) the resort did not nail us for an undisclosed “tent fee” (the resort never met a fee it didn’t like and didn’t try to stick us with - none of these fees ever got past Des, and if she didn’t get them removed she negotiated them down as low as the resort would go.) The floral arrangements Des created for our parties, the wedding and the reception were stunning. She attended to every little detail and was our rock from the minute we hired her until we bade farewell the day after the wedding. My wife and I married later in life, and thankfully were able to do it the right way - grand, beautiful, and big. Des is not a “budget” coordinator, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. We’re so happy we chose her over lower bids. She made our wedding beautiful and something neither we nor our friends and family will ever forget. We recommend her unequivocally. Thank you, Des, for everything!

I went into the meeting not knowing exactly how to articulate what I wanted, she asked all the right questions, took detailed notes, and by the end of the meeting, knew exactly what I wanted. She turned that dream into a reality on my wedding day! I was very impressed. I also attended a wedding where she was hired for all her services and I wish I has hired her to coordinate as well. I HIGHLY recommend her!

  Best Vendor out of all of them.

  Being the Mother of the Bride, I felt the Florist would be the most stressful vendor I would be dealing with. From our first meeting with Desiree, I knew we had picked the perfect florist for our "Rustic Chic" wedding. Desiree was well organized and went over everything we would need. She listened to our ideas and applied them perfectly. She was easy to get a hold of. Everything turned out beautifully, so much more than we expected. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was decorated. The only thing I regretted was not hiring Desiree as my Wedding Coordinator.

  One word to describe Desiree Carol is WOW! From the very beginning of planning my wedding down to coordinating the day of, Desiree is a rock star and she knows her stuff and she’s damn good at it.
  
  We encountered the biggest storm on the day of and she had her plan B set up and ready to go without me having to make a decision while I was getting ready. I could
  never thank her enough. She made this such a fun and memorable night that I wish I could relive.

  Tentative and organized

  Day of the wedding can be hectic and a little chaotic but with Desiree and her team it was a breeze. The other vendors knew where they needed to go, what time to be there, and the timeline was so smooth. I wouldn’t hire anyone else!
