Engagement Ring Glow Up!
I was looking for inspiration for reset my engagement ring and came across Designs by Kamni on Instagram. I fell in LOVE with the DBK 2.0 setting which was exactly what I was looking for and reached out to her via email. Kamni responded quickly and even though I didn't live nearby a showroom or was able to meet her, I had a feeling my diamond would be in good hands. We worked remotely together and my new redesigned ring was ready in just about a month! It is SO beautiful and the process was a breeze. I would recommend her to anyone in the market for a gorgeous ring or everyday jewelry and hopefully we will get to meet in person one day!

Working with Kamni was a fantastic experience! My friend purchased all of her bridal jewelry from Kamni and recommended I work with her for my wedding bands. Kamni was extremely responsive from the first inquiry I made through her website. I had diamonds from a family heirloom setting that I wanted to turn into a wedding band. We met and reviewed all of the options. Once I decided on a design Kamni sent me amazing mock-ups that I was able to approve and kept me in the loop throughout the process. I found Kamni during an image search for the type of setting I wanted. Her classic setting really spoke to me – it’s classic, yes, but it’s also got a contemporary vibe. I kept coming back to it, looking at her website for different options, reading reviews, etc. I originally was going to only purchase the setting, but after some looking around locally, I was very disappointed with the service and selection of diamonds. For some reason I really balked at the idea of buying a diamond online. I really gotta connect with this stone I’m going to be wearing every day for the rest of my life, right? How do you do that with a virtual appointment? Friends I am here to tell you, you can TOTALLY do this online. (Although would I have taken a red eye out for an in-person appointment were it not for COVID? I sure would have!)
I may have come to the table with a little more knowledge than the average bear but I knew what I wanted in a diamond, and just for fun did a search of Kamni’s available inventory online. Of course, my perfect stone was there, and the pricing was more than competitive. There is always the ability to have a variety of options pulled, but this was the one. (Did I still have a lot of anxiety about doing this online? I sure did!) But every time I had a question, I received a response within hours. The customer service was truly outstanding start to finish.
And then I received my finished ring and hot dang, it is even a million times better in person and I love it. Like can’t keep my eyes off of it, not allowed to show my boss’s wife because then she’ll want something as nice, I need a new bag to go with this amazing ring because everything I own pales in comparison, love it.
Please don’t hesitate to work with Kamni. Also, it’s awesome to support a woman-owned business.

Kamni is the BEST
I used Kamni for my fiancée’s engagement ring and had such a good experience, we went back for the wedding rings. Both times she really took the time to make sure she understood exactly what we were looking for, explained the differences between all the options, and never tried to upsell anything- she always asked our budget and came in under it. It turns out I had the wrong size for the engagement ring, and she noticed it was loose on my fiancée’s finger when we went in for the wedding rings, so she resized it and cleaned/polished it for free and had it back to us in 2-3 days. We are both incredibly happy with the rings and I can’t thank Kamni enough for all of her help throughout the process. We had so many compliments at the wedding! Oh, and I should add that each piece has been appraised for more than what we were charged! Amazing customer service and a great value.

It was an amazing experience working with Kamni and her team! I wanted to change me engagement ring setting and she helped design something perfect! I also had 3 heirloom diamonds and she helped me make diamond studs with 2 and a bezel set diamond necklace with the 3rd. The entire process was smooth, transparent and easy. I met with her once and then we confirmed details over email and occasional text and met again when I came to pick up my pieces. They exceeded my expectations and all were done in the 3-5 week time frame she promised they would be done in. She and her team were very professional and I felt safe during these Covid times going to her Manhattan office. They had hand sanitizer and masks available for clients. I can't wait to work with her again, I already know it will be in a few months on our anniversary so I can upgrade my wedding band :D Thank you Kamni and team!

Working with Kamni is an absolute delight! The name, “Your Diamond Girl” fits her to a T. She has been patient, honest, and supportive in my search for the perfect diamond ring. My fiancée scheduled a meeting with Kamni to get ideas for my own ring. Prior to the meeting, I picked out a few designs off Instagram and went in with a preconceived concept of my ideal ring. Upon meeting her, she asked what my preferences were and was so understanding of my needs. To my sweet surprise, she ended up introducing me to so many beautiful designs I had no idea I would ever even consider! Her collection is so vast, unique, and exquisite and she is so detail-oriented when it comes to her craft. She always reassured that customization was a readily-available option as I tried on many styles. Friendly, Professional - the Best
We're so happy we went to see Kamni to sort out an engagement ring and both of our wedding bands! She was very helpful, super nice and extremely professional.
She took the time to meet with me twice before we proceeded with the ring purchases, once with a friend and once with my future fiance. Both times I met with her, she was very patient in explaining her process and capabilities. She was very up front on pricing and timing (it took 29 days for 3 custom rings, less than initially indicated). She made us feel very comfortable!
I picked up the rings yesterday and they're beautiful! While the engagement ring is a very simple solitaire, it's obvious that a lot of time went into making it perfect. The diamond is set beautifully in white gold prongs in a yellow gold ring. Her wedding band is also gorgeous (5 pointers all the way around) and is perfect! I looked at both under a microscope (I'm a nerd) and they're perfect. I got a simple, traditional band (though she did have a number of modern and unique men's band designs) and I'm very happy with it, too. It was nice to go to one place and get everything.
Designs by Kamni also made the insurance process very easy by submitting their appraisal to a recommended jewelry insurance company. By the time I got back to my office from picking up the rings, an insurance quote was sitting in my inbox! (they don't get a kickback, I asked)
I would 100% recommend Designs by Kamni!

I have consistently loved Kamni's work. My partner had my engagement ring designed with her and the ring, in my opinion, is nothing short of amazing. The quality of the diamond appears to be gorgeous, the band is unique and throughout the process she was patient, informative, professional, and never once tried to force, haggle or over sell. I've received so many compliments on my ring. As a result, I went to Kamni to design my partners wedding band.

Got my fiancée her engagement ring here. Prior to my first appointment I had zero knowledge about diamonds or their attributes. Kamni walked me through the process of finding a design that my fiancée would love. Once we had the design I wanted she then started looking for diamonds that would fit into my price range so that I was able to get the best possible stone for the engagement ring. She found me an amazing diamond at a great price and she was able to get the ring made very quickly. Amazing experience with Kamni
I have been meaning to replace my wife's lost engagement ring for many years but always find reasons to wait till tomorrow. As we approached our 10 year anniversary, I promised her I'd do something special. In her mind, she thought it was some grand Hawaii trip, however I was planning to replace her lost engagement ring, which wasn't her fault but because I used a friend of a friend who knew a guy who dealt with diamonds (poor craftsmanship). For a guy, purchasing a ring is a make or break situation. With so many options, and choices, you fear of making the wrong decision. This time around I was going to things the right way by going to Designs by Kamni. I've seen her Instagram stories but had a few friends who went to her and raved about the experience. Since I travel a great deal, I told Kamni what I was looking for in a round about manner without many details (as most guys might do). She asked me several questions about style, and sent me a good, better, best type of mock-up. I appreciate Kamni being an advisor as opposed a sales person. She took the time to get to know me, my wife's style to make the best possible recommendation I felt comfortable with. Great experience!
I found Kamni by chance, which ended up being the best possible thing that could’ve happened. After multiple uncomfortable meetings with jewelers that didn’t come off as trustworthy, I saw one of Kamni’s designs online and knew that she was the right person to make an engagement ring for me. At this point I had already purchased a diamond, but had I met with Kamni earlier, I would’ve gone through the entire process with her.
Working with her is definitely a unique experience when compared to your typical jeweler on 47th street. She’s located in a beautiful building and takes the time to sit with you one-on-one to answer any and all questions you may have. I found it to be an extremely enjoyable experience.
Additionally, Kamni was able to take my diamond and set it in a ring in a very short amount of time. I was trying to have it made prior to Thanksgiving and she was able to deliver, which was absolutely fantastic.
Thanks again for the enjoyable experience! We’ll absolutely be back for our wedding bands.

Kamni herself helped me pick out and design the perfect engagement ring for my now wife. Kamni also sat down with Ariana and I, and designed our custom wedding bands in detail. Looking for a trustworthy jeweler in NYC is a very difficult and nerve wrecking process, especially while making one of the biggest purchases in your life. My husband and I worked with Kamni for both my engagement ring and wedding band. He had a preliminary meeting with her in the city before we both met with her on Long Island. Kamni was responsive, patient and helped us navigate what can be a daunting process. When it came time for a wedding band, I knew exactly what I wanted, but could not find it anywhere. I reached out to Kamni, sent over some pictures, met with her once to talk about the design and handed over the reigns with complete faith that she understood my vision. She customized the ring and it is perfect (and she did it for way less money than I was expecting)! When it came to getting a ring for my husband, she was extremely honest and fair, and made recommendations we are both very grateful for.

Kamni did a fantastic job from the very first consultation. She is extremely professional and completely committed to meeting your needs and requirements while offering helpful advice to make better informed choices, which is so critical when you are dealing with something you don't have any experience in.
Unlike some other jewelers her primary concern is finding out what you want and how best to make it happen, rather than trying to upsell or push anything on you.
She was able to incorporate my mother's diamond in the design of a new custom ring I had made for my girlfriend in a way that looked great; my girlfriend loves the ring and gets tons of compliments.
I can't recommend her highly enough!

I decided to begin ring shopping in February of this year. But the more I saw the more confused I became. Like any other person who decides to make a big or even small purchase, I wanted to make sure I got what I was paying for. So along with visiting Kamni, I went to many many many other jewelers in the city. But like every other DBK client, I kept gravitating towards Kamni and her work. Some jewelers would just lay out a lane of diamonds and ask me to choose, others would not be thrilled if I took the time to think, and there were a few who didn’t take the initiative to throughly explain.
Walking in to Kamni’s office, spending countless hours, I never once felt like I was settling. Because Kamni did everything in her favor to make sure I understood the ring I wanted to create. Every time I was in her office, there would be people waiting for her, but she never once rushed me. She was calm, professional and her love for her work shined through.
I’m happy I chose DBK. I recommend anyone out there who is looking to work with an experienced, educated and proud jeweler, to definitely consider Kamni. Absolutely wonderful experience starting at Day 1.
For me it started when my now Fiancé, Allison, starting sending me screenshots of these beautiful rings from an Instagram page. When the time came that I was ready to truly pressure with the ring buying, and marriage idea, my first email was sent to Kamni directly. I had no idea what I was getting into. I had no idea how to buy, design, or choose a ring. It started with my showing kamni the pictures that initially drew Allison and myself to her designs. Kamni was very responsive, and ready to start helping immediately! Kamni kept everything inside the budget I set, actually going well under when the job was all done. We used the pictures I sent as a starting point, and added a few extra designs pieces to make it a one of a kind that Allison would cherish for life. Being a guy, going into the ring designing process was very scary. Kamni was with me the entire time, ensuring I was doing everything the right way! Allison and I live in Chicago, and have never been to Kamni’s actually store. The videos and photos that Kamni sent to me throughout the process made me feel as if I was in New York seeing these options in person. I would highly recommend Designs By Kamni to anyone looking to design a piece of jewelry, and especially to any person looking to surprise a special someone with a one of a kind masterpiece. I’ve known about DBK for a while now, because I have friends who bought rings from her, for their engagement.
So when my Best Friend's boyfriend asked me to help him propose, two things came to mind: Pinterest and DBK!
I told him to get in touch with DBK , and so he submitted a consult form. He also reached out to a few other jewelers in the City, yet Kamni got back to him in less than 24 hours which was refreshing to see, because other vendors took at least 2 or 3 days.
The first meeting, she talked Ryan through the whole process. She knows her stuff- diamond cuts, stone placement etc. Ryan was pretty nervous throughout the whole thing because he wanted everything to be perfect. Ryan also gave Kamni his budget and guessed Tina’s ring size. Kamni was super helpful and told us to take one of Tina’s rings (costume jewelry) and bring it back to Kamni to get the accurate size.
Kamni ensured that everything she does with the ring will meet all his expectations and more.
Once that was done, we were shown several stones for the ring. I feel like we saw 100 stones, but I honestly stopped counting after. Eventually, we narrowed it down to 10 stones that we thought would go best with a rose gold ring. Tina has always admired Ryan’s co-workers rose gold engagement ring. We mentioned it to Kamni, and she advised us to get a cushion cut, and so that eliminated a few stones.
When we met the second time, she talked about the final 6 stones Ryan had in mind, and went into depth about them. Ryan picked cushion cut rose gold engagement ring, with a halo and diamonds all over the band.
DBK doesn’t only sell rings, she sells a service. Her time, effort and patience are the reasons that all my friends went to her, and Ryan could not thank me enough.
And Tina? LOVED her ring!! Thanks again Kamni!

I've had my heart set on Kamni's "DBK Classic" for what feels like years now, so when it was time for my then boyfriend to propose, he knew who to contact. It is seriously even better than I thought it would be and I am SO glad he went directly through Kamni even though he was apprehensive at first since we live in Houston. I want to start this review by saying that I am a tremendously picky, not easily impressed, and can be a difficult client. Because of that, I designed my own ring and went to many designers before choosing Kamni. I told her exactly what I wanted and exactly the reaction that I wanted friends and family to have to it. She got it down more perfectly than the image in my head. I am telling you, she is the best of the best. My ring is ridiculous and has been the talk of the town since I got it. It shines like crazy and the setting is so unbelievably done that people just stare at it. Today, someone came from another office because they heard about my ring. Kamni is not a regular jeweler. She is absolutely the top of her game, absolutely. I couldnt give a stronger recommendation.

When my wife proposed, she gave me a beautiful ring. Since it wasn’t a traditional wedding ring, we had a difficult time finding a band to match. It was great working with Kamni. I had an initial meeting with Kamni approximately 7 months prior to purchasing my fiancee's ring. During the initial meeting, she went through the 4Cs, we discussed budget and ring types, her process, and she suggested the time frame that I return if I remained interested in working with her. At no point did she pressure me or try to convince me to go above my budget.
I continued to follow her on social media (Instagram) and remained impressed with her work. As a result, I reached out to her in April 2017 to schedule an appointment. I went with my friend and she was very thorough and patient with me. Again, she did not pressure me to buy anything immediately or raise my budget. Instead, we worked within my budget.
My fiancee was blown away with her ring and she often receives compliments on her ring. We're definitely returning to Kamni for our bands. Thanks so much, Kamni!

Kamni was a dream to work with. My partner proposed to me while on our overseas trip so while we were in the area I researched some jewellers and found Kamni. I arranged a meeting with her for when we were in New York and I am so glad we did! She was so helpful, honest and knowledgeable. She helped me to realise the style I was after and what I could get within my budget. It wasn't until we returned home to Australia about 6 months later that we decided to take the next step and order my ring. Kamni was an absolute pleasure to work with. We initially found her through Instagram and were impressed with 1. All the positive reviews and 2. How frequently she updates her social media (to us, it showed how much pride she takes in her work as well as giving us great examples of what we wanted!) My fiancée and I worked with her to design our wedding bands and words do not begin to explain how thrilled we are with the outcome. The rings are stunning and exactly what we envisioned. From the moment we walked through her office doors, we felt welcomed as Kamni really listened to what we wanted and presented us with multiple options in person and via email follow up (which was great to have as a reference when juggling multiple wedding checklists/decisions!). She is extremely knowledgeable and never made us feel like “just another sale”. Aside from her obvious expertise, another reason we chose DBK is because we both agreed that we felt comfortable with her as a person, to work on the most meaningful jewelry purchase we will ever make. Other jewelers we met with criticized the setting of my engagement ring and explained that what I wanted in a wedding band wouldn’t work due to the setting of my engagement ring. Kamni listened to what we wanted and delivered on exactly that (proving all the others wrong!). We also loved that she actually responds to emails in a timely manner. I got engaged in 2013 and married in 2014. I loved wearing my engagement ring every day, but as a Registered Nurse I had to be extra careful with not losing my diamond (while removing my gloves!). Finding a good and trustworthy appraiser on Long Island seemed impossible! Thru Instagram and personally meeting Kamini, my search was finally over! I knew I had found the right person with the right personally, who's trustworthy and most of all THIS WOMAN KNOWS HER DIAMONDS! Kamini made this process so easy and fast. I had my appraisal and within few days! She even got me a quote from Jewelers Mutual. This woman knows what her clients wants and needs are. Now I can wear my ring without any worries! Thank you DBK!

When it finally came time to shop for an engagement ring I knew just where to send my now fiancé. We worked with Kamni to design the ring, and then they finalized the process so that I would be surprised! Kamni helped my fiancé pick out the perfect diamond and create the exact setting that I had envisioned. The process was personal and easy. We will be going back for our wedding bands and hopefully other pieces down the road!

Working with Kamni was truly an amazing and easy experience. We showed her the design we were looking into for mine and my wife's wedding bands as well as my wife's engagement band. Her: I discovered Kamni’s Instagram page about a year ago and immediately fell in love with her designs. They were all beautiful and unique with just the right amount of bling without looking too over the top or gawdy. I immediately told my fiancé (then boyfriend of course) that if and when he was ready to propose he should definitely go to her to design my ring. I’m so happy he went to Kamni, the finished ring design far exceeded my expectations. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments and am absolutely in love with the detailing.
Him: Working with Kamni was an amazing experience. My fiancée found her ring designs on Instagram and fell in love with her unique style. One of the rings my fiancée liked in particular was a round stone but I knew she liked the cut of a princess stone. Kamni was easily able to show me a princess cut ring in the setting I desired. She was also very flexible, as I had to reschedule several times. She was very accommodating to my proposal timeline, I had a short few weeks to have the ring ready before the holidays and she delivered. Kamni also communicated with me discretely, so that my fiancée wasn’t tipped off to the surprise proposal. She was also able to adjust the ring size for us afterwards. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a unique, personable, and talented designer.

When my "boyfriend" and I were looking to purchase an engagement ring, we researched many local and online jewelers. This is a big step in our lives and we wanted to do it together. I was very disappointed with the local jewelers and we ended up turning to online. We were both very hesitant at first about working remotely on such an expensive purchase, but I am so glad we made the leap and went with Designs By Kamni!
I came across DBK on social media and instantly fell in love with her work. What really made us decide to work with her was her outstanding customer service (and her many positive reviews). Customer service is extremely important to us when purchasing online. She made it so easy and relaxed. She was always very responsive and answered all our crazy questions. She never made us feel pressured and she worked around our schedule. Kamni also has very competitive pricing and worked to stay in our budget. Kamni worked really fast and made it in time before the crazy engagement holiday season.
Now what everyone really wants to know...the ring. The ring is absolutely stunning! The craftsman ship is impeccable and it is my dream ring. Kamni listened to everything I liked and turned it into the perfect piece of jewelry to represent our love and devotion. Thank you Kamni!

Excellent service, high quality product that we didn't find somewhere else. We went to the jewelry stores with the highest rates on Yelp, still Kamni was so much better. You can tell the difference just by looking at the quality of her diamonds. So glad we have been there !!!

I'm usually quite critical on reviews but I can honestly say that this was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences I've ever had, especially while making such an important purchase. Not only was the product beyond my most optimistic expectations but the client service was impeccable.
I had reservations about selecting an engagement ring from an online source, however Kamni was able to put those fears at rest with exceptional customer service and superior product knowledge. As icing on the cake, the appraised value of my purchase came in approximately 25% higher than what I paid for her services. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Designs by Kamni and Kamni herself!!!! My now fiancé Joe (still can’t believe it!) and I went to go see Kamni in her NYC office in April 2016. We had been dating awhile and started seriously talking about marriage and engagement rings. The two of us didn’t really know too much about rings, about the specifics or even what we liked. We went to a few other places before finding Kamni and to be honest I was REALLY nervous at that point. We did the whole Diamond District visiting booths and booths of diamond sellers that do just that – sell you diamonds. Kamni was extremely different (I will get into that in a little bit). Joe and I walked into one of the booths and felt so overwhelmed, confused, and pressured… meanwhile we only had the chance to talk with a sales person for less than five minutes!! We hated the entire process of the typical Diamond District until we found Kamni. Although she is located in the Diamond District she has her own office in the GIA building and was EXTREMLY professional. Weirdly enough I first found Kamni on Instagram. I remember looking at her rings with actual tears in my eyes. I had no idea how much went into each ring, each couple, and each process, which in turn made us love her even more.
When we actually made an appointment with Kamni she didn’t mind the fact that we were coming from far (CT) and happened to be 30 minutes late trying to find parking at rush hour. I was instantly impressed with the security in the building, her office, and being greeted with champagne (who DOESN’T love champagne and diamonds?!). Anyway, she spoke with us for over an HOUR. Yes, we went into detail on rings, diamonds, shapes, sizes, the 4 c’s and everything. However, she also got to know us as a couple which really really impressed us. I was given Kamni's name by 3 friends who had all used her for their engagement rings, and I knew they had all been extremely pleased with the results. My experience with her was also superb - she was professional and friendly, and the process of picking out a specific diamond was straightforward and fun. She had a wide selection of stones within the parameters I had specified, and she expertly talked through each one until the right one popped out! The process of getting the stone set was also extremely easy and hassle-free, and when I picked up the final product, it was exactly what I was after. My fiance and I recently got engaged and Kamni did such an amazing job helping us to create the perfect engagement ring. Kamni was incredibly attentive and responsive from the beginning and throughout the entire process, more so than any other jeweler I spoke with when first scouting out a designer for our custom engagement ring. Her prices are also very competitive and the best out of all the other jewelers I got quotes from. The work that she does and her attention to detail is truly amazing. Kamni has renders of the jewelry she's created on her website, and then photos of the actual ring final product that look exactly like the renders. My ring looks exactly like the render photos she created for us -- the quality of the workmanship and side stone diamonds is incredible, and the ring is truly a masterpiece. It was so convenient also having two locations to go to -- we tried on a silver sample at her Manhattan office, and my fiance was able to pick up the ring from her on Long Island. If you are looking to create any type of custom jewelry piece, I highly highly recommend working with Kamni. She is fabulous!! :D

Kamni is one of the jewelry industry’s very best. She embodies three of the most important qualities of any top-tier jeweler: she refuses to settle for quality that is anything less than perfect, she overdelivers to create a product that’s even better than what you imagined, and she is transparent and trustworthy along each step of the way.
After spending months researching nearly every single jeweler on both the East and West Coasts, I am so glad that my (now) fiancé and I finally decided to ask Kamni to help create my engagement ring. I had an extremely specific idea of what I wanted, had no idea how to correctly describe it, and was a nervous wreck that it would somehow end up missing the mark. After sending her random screenshots from my phone of what I was looking for, and having a reassuring in-person introductory meeting with her, I was confident that she “got me” and understood what I was looking for. To highlight how comfortable I felt (I’m not someone who likes any amount of risk, in any aspect of her life – much less with something so important), I chose Kamni over my family jeweler, who we have loyally purchased all of our family jewelry (and extended family’s jewelry) for the past twenty years. As we discussed the design for the ring, Kamni was clear about which of our ideas would come to life beautifully, and which ideas would not work together well or would compromise the integrity and structure of the ring. Within a few days, we received a digital rendering of what the ring would look like, and Kamni talked us through all the details and noted any details that would look different on the final product. We received updates along the way, and when it was time to back to NY to pick the ring up, Kamni was flexible in helping us schedule an appointment (and reschedule several times). When we picked up the ring, she explained how she performs a final quality inspection and shows the various details that are checked.

After a successful proposal and some learnings from start to finish, thought I should share my experience with others out there. I was ready to start looking for engagement rings and my girlfriend slid me a DM on Instagram of a ring designed by Kamni that she labeled "perfection". I thought it would be best to go to a few jewelers and see what my options were - most of which were not the experience I was looking for. I read up on Kamni and there was nothing but amazing reviews. I reached out to get info on the ring and received quite a speedy reply. I had a short deadline in the time frame that I wanted to propose and Kamni was so accommodating. We were able to set up a meeting within a day and it was a wonderful experience. I felt like Kamni took her time, it was very relaxed and I was able to see many different stones. I was well educated on the differences and felt confident about what I chose. Throughout the process I was constantly updated on the status of the ring and was able to pick it up just in time for the proposal. It came out even better than I thought it would and my fiancé and all our friends/family think it is the most gorgeous ring they have ever seen. She cannot stop staring at her finger and crying tears of happiness. I could not have pulled this off without Kamni and I am so happy! She even followed up to see how everything went. I will definitely be staying in touch for future pieces.

I found Kamni from all of her amazing posts on instagram, instantly I fell in love with one of her designs and would send it to my now Fiance everyday hoping he would get the hint. Well he got the hint and I now have a gorgeous ring that gets compliments daily. Kamni designs consist of quality diamonds and are well thoughtout. I love the way she pays attention to detail and adds a bit of sparkle where you wouldn't expect it. My ring not only has diamonds on the band but also on the underneath of the center stone setting. I mean what girl doesn't want a ring full of diamonds! Kamni was extremely professional and dealt with my fiance both on the phone and through emails. She was quick to respond to all of his questions especially when my ring got caught in the mail during a snow storm. Kamni knew about his plan to propose when we went on vacation with our family in February so they had planned in advance to have the ring with plenty of time before we left. Turns out mother nature had her own plan of a snow storm, which caused the ring to get stuck in the mail. My fiance is now in a panic because he had nothing to propose with and we were leaving that night. Kamni came to the rescue and told my fiance not to worry she sent her assistant down on the train from NY to CT with a temporary ring that was almost exactly like mine just so my fiance could have something to propose with. The proposal went off with out a hitch and when we returned from the trip my ring was ready to be picked up. I am really looking forward to working with her when picking out my wedding band! Shopping for an engagement ring is not an easy task, I had no idea about what goes into picking a diamond or a setting. I was referred to Designs by Kamni by a close friend and it was one of the best and smoothest experiences I ever had. Kamni spent so much time with me going over a wide selection of diamonds, educating me about the different cuts, clarities and settings. After looking through a selection of amazing diamonds I was able to find the one I felt was perfect for me and my fiancé. She then helped me with the ring design and went back and forth until I finally knew the exact setting I wanted. She was the perfect guide along the whole process and truly offered the best customer service. After I presented the ring to my fiancé she was more than happy with the ring and I couldn't have done that without Kamni's help. She was always available when I had a question or concern. When it came time for our wedding I knew I had to now get a wedding band, and I knew exactly who I was going to for it. Once again Kamni showed me a variety of beautiful designs and options and me and my fiancé were able to pick out the perfect wedding bad that we both fell in love with. My experience with Designs By Kamni significantly exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, Kamni was extremely attentive and took care of every single detail that I mentioned to her. One of the biggest challenges when shopping for an engagement ring is that you'll often find gemologists trying to sell you very generic and standard designs.
Kamni is the exact opposite of that. She oversees every step of the process which goes from creating computer-generated images of the ring, to printing the prototype in wax, then casting it in metal and finally setting the center stone. Her process is very meticulous and it's apparent that she cares very much about her business as she constantly made herself available to answer questions and to meet in person.
I highly recommend Designs By Kamni. Looking back I realize that working with her was the best decision I made in my search for an engagement ring.

Working with Kamni was an amazing experience. We met with 5 other jewelers in the diamond district and Kamni was by far the most professional, you could tell she wasn't just trying to make a sale. She designed an engagement ring that is exactly what I wanted and found stones that weren't in NYC to show us so we had several to choose from. She also kept me in the loop throughout the process, was very quick responding to emails and worked within our budget. I'm so obsessed with my ring, I can't stop staring at it! She designed my wedding band too and I absolutely love it, I can't wait until we're married so I can put it on! We found Kamni from her posts on Facebook/Instagram and instantly feel in love with her beautiful custom designs. Being out of state, we were hesitant to go through this process online at first, but Kamni was a thorough professional through all of it. She sent us videos and pictures of the diamond when we couldn't see it in person also allowed my close by family to come take a peek at it. Her prices were very very competitive with everything we found online and actually cheaper that what we were seeing on Bluenile.com which was a huge surprise. Ultimately we decided to go with Kamni's designs since she was always available and very enthusiastic in making this the most perfect ring. I would chose Kamni's work again any day for her quality of work and the personalized service she provides.
I was trying to make this process a surprise for my fiance and Kamni was extremely supportive and played along with that entire process. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAMNI.

Kamni was absolutely wonderful to work with from day one. She was very patient waiting for me to get my budget in order before I came to see her, and exchanged many informative emails along the way (many, many months before). Once I finally met with her, she spent an entire 2 1/2 hours educating me on the 4 C's and discussing design ideas for my soon to be fiance's ring. Once she had clear direction, it took her little time to send me two design ideas, and she nailed it! We only made a few small tweaks and then the ring went right into production. My fiance loves her ring, and Kamni made the process so easy. She was true to her original quote, stayed within my budget, and gave great direction along the way. I followed Kamni on Instagram for quite some time and always thought how amazing it would be to have her design my engagement ring. I decided to get in touch with her and schedule an appointment. After meeting with Kamni, my now fiance and I couldn't have been more pleased. She is very honest and lays it all out there so you feel comfortable and there's no need to worry or feel like she's getting one over on you. For our second meeting, she brought in several diamonds and all were absolutely stunning. You cannot beat Kamni's prices on her diamonds (seriously she has the best prices we've seen and we shopped around). Kamni has such quality stones and an amazing eye for design. It was so awesome that she does 3D renderings where you can see what your ring will look like before it is officially created! We will be going back to her for years to come. I found out about Kamni on Instagram, and I am so glad I did. There was one particular engagement ring I saw online and I just knew it was for me. She helped me tweak it and make it my own. Kamni was so involved and made the whole process feel really intimate and special.
I went to her Manhattan office several times and she always kept in contact with me about any bumps or hiccups along the way. She absolutely refused to give me something back that wasn't perfect by her standards or mines. Kamni walked me through the lesson of a lifetime on diamonds and settings and I felt very informed.
Now whenever someone asks I can't help telling them about my custom ring and all the work that went into it. I already have some ideas for some other custom pieces I want and can't wait to work on it with Kamni. Best decision ever!

Let me start off by saying, I could not be more happy with the service Kamni provided. From the first encounter, she was warm, friendly, yet professional. My husband (then fiancé) and I were looking for something very specific and hard to find for out wedding bands. Kamni assured us that she could do it and she made good on that promise!
Our wedding bands came out EXACTLY the way we wanted, we could not have been more pleased. We often get compliments on how beautiful and unique they are.
Aside from delivering exactly what she promised, Kamni was a joy to work with. She kept us informed every step of the way, through emails, phone calls, and text messages. Any concerns or questions we had were addressed promptly. The wedding bands were also finished in a very timely fashion, and at a reasonable price. Th entire process was totally stress-free, thanks to Kamni. Not only is she extremely talented in what she does, but she provides unparalleled customer service, which is so important when making such a significant purchase.
I would highly recommend Kamni to anyone who is looking for any kind of jewelry...I believe this woman can make anything happen! Thank you Kamni!!!

I came across Kamni's website while researching jewelers. I reached out via the website and Kamni responded to me right away. Within minutes I had an appointment to meet with her. We met in her NYC office and right away I knew that she was the perfect person to design my engagement ring. I explained to her what my vision was and she took a lot of notes. She gave me a lot of information about diamonds and their quality. I left the meeting feeling super confident that I had made the right decision. My (now) fiance then met with Kamni in her LI location to go over details and get the ball rolling. He loved her just as much as I did. We got engaged last weekend and I can not describe how happy I am with my ring. It is gorgeous!! Kamni listened to every detail I wanted and made me my dream ring. I could not be happier!! I can't wait to have her design our wedding bands.

Kamni did an awesome job on my custom engagement ring! I love my ring!! She was very attentive to my fiancés' wants in my ring. Although we were not able to meet in person until after receiving the ring due to the distance, she was very available via email/text. Kamni sent my fiancé computer images of the ring where he got to see the diamond up close. We are in the process of getting custom wedding bands from Kamni and we are excited! Overall the ring process was amazing and Kamni did an awesome job designing a ring for us!

My boyfriend and I have been searching for months online through different jewelers. We encountered Kamni’s website and decided to reach out to her. She responded to me right away and I was so pleased to schedule a meeting with her. Together with my boyfriend we met her in her NYC office in 47th street, which was both convenient for both of us. As soon as we met her, she was very helpful in every way. She was able to create the perfect engagement ring that I always wanted. She gave me a lot of information about diamonds and their quality. She was honest and down to earth and made the process enjoyable for both my fiancé and I. My fiancé was able to communicate and contact her easily, which made him feel at ease with the process. I was extremely happy with how my ring turned out. My engagement ring is so beautiful and I cannot stop looking at it. An amazing person, amazing designer and a creative, ready to take on anything and everything jeweler!! Absolutely loved my experience at Designs by Kamini. When I first reached out to Kamini, I was basically clueless about what kind of wedding band I wanted for my fiance.
With barely any ideas in mind, I threw a few things at Kamini via email over one random saturday afternoon. Honestly, I didn't think I would hear from her until the following Monday, but within a few hours I not only got a response from her, but we were on our way to designing the wedding band and figuring out the engravings for it. She worked with me through all my crazy ideas, my limitations on the style and size that my fiance wanted, and my indecisiveness. She was always a message away, and quick to help.
When the final product was done and handed over to me, I was in awe of how amazing this wedding band looked and how perfectly she was able to bring my vision to life. In the shortest time period of 2 weeks, Kamini was able to design and deliver this master piece to me.
I would highly recommend Designs by Kamini to anyone out there who is looking for a jeweler they can trust and enjoy working with.
