We were absolutely blown away by the floral arrangements for our wedding! From the very beginning, Dillon was incredibly responsive and open to our vision. He took the time to provide expert guidance while ensuring the final look felt uniquely ours.
The flowers themselves turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined. The quality, the colors, and the artistic touch in the arrangements were stunning. It’s been weeks, and we are still hearing from our guests about how beautiful the flowers were.

Dillon and his team were truly amazing for my wedding day! When I booked Dillon, he set up a consultation call with me to walk through my inspiration and ideas, while also helping me make decisions based on our budget. I LOVED that he was all about repurposing flowers from the ceremony to the reception. He also was beyond accommodating when I would change my mind 50 times as we got closer to the wedding and never made me feel bad for doing so! When it came to flowers, my mom and I knew that that was something we did not want to have to worry about on the wedding day and Dillon and his team truly handled EVERYTHING. His coordination with my wedding planner was amazing. I highly recommend finding vendors that you can fully trust to execute your vision and Dillon and his team did just that! I was able to give my general ideas and the floral arrangements they created were beyond any of my dreams. Everything about this part of my wedding just felt so easy. I am so grateful to the Designs by Dillon team for making my wedding SO beautiful and truly could not have asked for a better florist! -

Working with Dillon for our Sept. ‘25 wedding was such a great experience. He was warm, receptive, and incredibly easy to work with — the kind of vendor who instantly feels like you’re working with a trusted friend. Even when I had trouble explaining exactly what I wanted, Dillon asked thoughtful questions, checked in to be sure he understood, and ultimately brought my vision to life perfectly.
The flowers and decor were beautiful, fresh, and so well-coordinated. We received so many compliments from guests. His team worked efficiently and seamlessly behind the scenes, handling everything from florals to candles to table design, and making both our ceremony and reception spaces look elegant and cohesive. Everything was set up quickly, professionally, and without a single issue. We were even able to repurpose arrangements the next day because they held up so well.

We are still in awe of the absolutely stunning florals created by Designs by Dillon for our wedding! From the very first conversation, they truly listened to our vision — bold, bright colors with a fun and funky twist — and somehow brought it to life even more beautifully than we imagined. The addition of disco balls mixed in with the florals? Pure magic. It was the perfect balance of playful, modern, and totally us.

Dillon designed the most beautiful florals for my son's wedding in August 2024. He did the florals for rehearsal dinner at Embassy Suites, the ceremony at Airlie Botanical Gardens, and the reception at the Elia, all in Wilmington NC. Throughout the planning process Dillon was easy to work with, capturing the bride's vision and aesthetic flawlessly. He handled last minute tweaks to quantities seamlessly. The florals were breathtaking, we received so many compliments throughout the weekend! Highly recommend him and his team for your wedding. -

August 26, 2023 - Our Dream Wedding
I do not not even know where to start with thanking and raving over the beyond talented Dillon and his team!!! Dillon and his team created a masterpiece weekend for us. Our wedding day was August 26, 2023 at the Beaufort Hotel, and they also designed our welcome party the night before at Crystal Coast Country Club. From our very first meeting with Dillon, I knew that I needed him as our florist. His personality and designs fit everything I was looking for. I would suggest what I was looking for and Dillon would take it to a whole other level. Dillon always thought outside of the box with his designs, which I loved! One of my favorite meetings was our mock up at the hotel 4 months before our wedding. I am a very visual person and this meeting really helped visualize our day. Dillon and Kyle brought beautiful mock ups and we got to mess around with different visions. So helpful! I looked forward to all of our design meetings, they were my favorite. Dillon and his team started their set up and installations early in the week of our wedding. Dillon and his team of 15+ worked many hours, sleepless hours and in the sweaty heat of August to make our dream come true!!! They truly went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations! They are pure magic and are a rockstar team. All of our wedding floral dreams came true thanks to Dillon and his team! I also cannot forget to thank my favorite team member, Max as he made it to all of our meetings and was a fan favorite. -

Designs by Dillon was the obvious choice for the day of our dreams. Dillon and his team went above and beyond with our day providing the most beautiful arrangements, table decor, and even helping set up my neon sign for me at our venue. I really had no idea what I was looking for in our floral decor and I left it pretty much up to him, and it was amazing. The team was great with responding to my emails and making (many) changes along the way to bend with my (ever changing) budget! I even had to change my large floral mantle piece to just a greenery piece to save some money at the end, and it got so many complements! Nothing felt low quality whatsoever. I am even getting my bouquet preserved because of how much I loved it! -

Dillon made all of our flower & design dreams come true with his beautiful arrangements and details throughout my ceremony & reception area. I gave him a few Pinterest photos of the vision I had for our day and he absolutely blew us away with what he came up with. We also built our own seating chart wall that we had a specific vision for and he nailed it! The flowers were so gorgeous and fresh and the colors he chose and put together were so dreamy. He was a pleasure to work with and was always very responsive and accommodating with any question or request we had for him. From start to finish, our experience with DBD was flawless! -

Dillon & his team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. During the initial booking process, they were timely in their communication which made the process easy. After my initial consult, we came in over budget. When I discussed my concern with him, he helped me adjust my proposal to fit my needs without any pressure to keep items that I simply couldn't afford. He reassured me that things would still be beautiful & he was absolutely right! The ceremony & reception spaces looked even better than I could have imagined & the wedding bouquets completely blew me away. Everyone complimented the florals all night & for many days after. Dillon and his team did the most wonderful job executing my Garden Party meets Palm Beach wedding in Wilmington, NC at the Cape Fear Country Club! I sent over inspiration and he replicated it perfectly! Dillon is professional and such a sweet person to know! I couldn't be happier with all of the magic he created! Also, if you can believe it, 2 days before our wedding there was a high percent chance of thunderstorms, so we had to pivot to our rain plan. Dillon worked some serious magic to make the ballroom turn into a fabulous Garden Party. He truly brought the outdoors in and I couldn't be happier with his work! I highly recommend Dillon to anyone who wants to work with a talented and creative team! They will move mountains to make your dream wedding florals come alive! Thank you so much Dillon + team!! -

Absolute magic
I could go on and on about the magic that is the work of the Designs by Dillon team. Dillon is truly a master of his craft and he has an amazing team behind him. They took my vision for my wedding and brought it to absolute life and then some. Our wedding guests (and myself!) were truly enamored by the florals at our wedding. I couldn’t have dreamed up what this team delivered even if I tried. Truly worth every penny. I am so grateful to our planner (A. Noble Events) for recommending them for our wedding florals. And don’t get me started on the disco balls… truly a work of art. Absolutely 100% recommend working with them if you can! -

Amazing Florist!
There are no words to fully express how phenomenal and creative Dillon and his team are! During my design meeting with my planner (Knot Too Shabby Events) she instantaneously suggested Designs by Dillon, without any hesitation. She knew their style would match what I envisioned and it was so much more! During my wedding day, I peeked out the door from my bridal suite so much and was just in awe everytime I saw more and more. Not only the florals were stunning but also the candles and votives they offer too. My guest all complimented how beautiful the florals and candles were during and days after the wedding. When I began planning my wedding I knew that the flowers were my main focus. I had in my mind what I wanted and I knew Dillon would get it. I had stalked Dillon’s Instagram for a while and was obsessed with his work. We had our consult and I was beyond excited because I knew he got the vision of what I wanted and it was going to be beyond what I hoped. He was professional and you could tell he truly loves what he does. All I can say is that on my wedding day when I saw my flowers I cried. It was everything I imagined. I had so many guests comment on the flowers and how gorgeous they were, even my oldest brother who is NOT the kind of guy to compliment flowers said they were the most beautiful flowers he’s ever seen. AMAZING TEAM! Dillon, Kyle, and team were absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. From early on in the planning, Dillon + Kyle played a key role in helping to inspire the vision for the big day! We met them during a Floral mock up of my bridal bouquet and a table center piece, where we discussed minor tweaks to implement for the big day. Dillon was incredibly communicative throughout the process, and the entire team went above and beyond to accommodate a change in date for our wedding due to a hurricane. They even helped make the original date special by designing and providing florals for a dinner party. I would recommend Designs by Dillon for any floral needs, but particularly for a wedding, without hesitation. I found Designs by Dillon through my venue and planner's recommended florists, and after a call with my planner (Design A Dream Events) about my wedding floral vision, wants, and needs, they thought Dillon would be the perfect match and WOW he made our wedding day perfection. While my planner handled a majority of the communication with Dillon, whenever I reached out he was always very responsive and helpful. He is also very knowledgeable and worked with us to find ways to trim costs (like using one type of candle vs. another, or utilizing bud vases in some areas) while keeping our day absolutely beautiful. The work that Dillon and Kyle do is insane! My bridesmaids were all in awe watching them build our large floral installation on the fireplace at Wrightsville Manor. His designs and eye for detail are also amazing - he helped us tie in the light blue color of the bridesmaids dresses into other details of our florals while still keeping it classic and stunning. I also love that my bridal bouquet was similar to my inspiration pictures, but had his own flare to make it unique and one of a kind. Lastly, my mother-in-law was needing some centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner and used Designs by Dillon to create a beautiful classy coastal vibe at Oceanic as well. All around, Dillon and Kyle are just amazing people to work with and you won't regret having them for your event! -

The Designs by Dillon team exceeded all my expectations, and I have been following him on Instagram forever… so that’s a huge compliment. His team transformed Brooklyn Arts Center with a gorgeous hanging altar and my dream aisle with candles, greenery, and rose petals. Not to mention my bridal bouquet was stunning, my bridesmaid’s bouquets were picture-perfect, and all of our tablescapes were exactly what I wanted. That’s not even the best part. They created the statement piece of our wedding, a “bouquet” of disco balls (~12 total) over the band on the BAC stage. It was perfect. Truly a master of his craft and I am so lucky that he was available to help make my dreams come true on my wedding day. He is in high demand because he is the BEST. Book him now. Gorgeous Floral Arrangements
Designs by Dillon was AMAZING. Working with Dillon to plan the flowers for my 2021 October wedding was so easy! We truly clicked from the first exploratory phone call, and I could tell he really knew his stuff, he was so helpful with suggesting flowers that would fit my desired look and mood, and he took my opinions into consideration when I went back to him after the original proposal mood board asking more some slight tweaks in feature colors. He was very professional, quick to respond to emails, and kept me posted throughout the process (especially when floral shipping costs and delays slightly affected our original plan). He handled the shift with great confidence and reassured me that it would still be incredible, which of course, it was! He arrived on time on wedding morning with my and my bridesmaids’ bouquets, which were STUNNING, set up the large altar urns at St. Mary’s, and decked out my welcome sign in greenery and blooms. The centerpieces, bud vases, and accent flowers throughout Bakery 105 for the reception were incredible, and EXACTLY what I had pictured and expressed to him that I wanted. He truly made it all come to life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! -

Fantastic Florals
Dillon and his team are absolute PERFECTION! I am a very visual person and had a difficult time deciding what my wedding vision was without actually seeing it.....Dillon and his team listened to everything I was looking for and made my wedding dream come alive!! He was so easy to work with during covid and having to postpone my wedding not once but twice. When the day finally came I was so relaxed because I knew he was going to take care of me and make everything beautiful. Dillon NEVER tried to up sale me on anything and was always open and honest which I truly appreciated. I wish I could get married over and over again just to have my florals done by him again. From our first conversation, Dillon was fully invested in helping all of my floral dreams come to life! He was very thorough in explaining different flowers and arrangements, especially to this bride who doesn't know her flower names :) I gave him a vision and was able to discuss how to make that possible within our budget. He was accommodating to changes and adjustments throughout my planning process and offered advice and suggestions on how to save costs while sticking to my ideas. On our big day, he executed flawlessly as we set-up an indoor and outdoor ceremony space in preparation for rain. When the decision came to have the ceremony outside, he flipped the room beautifully and efficiently in preparation for the reception. Every flower and arrangement was beautiful and just as I had pictured, if not better! 100/100 recommend Dillon! -

We don’t even know where to start!!!! Dillon is the most talented florist and professional! Our flowers were absolutely BEAUTIFUL for our special day. I am not sure we can put into words how amazing Dillon is. He is not only incredibly talented but also amazing to work with. Our daughter was supposed to get married 3/21/2020. Like so many COVID couples their wedding was postponed. Our flowers were already in so Dillon made her a beautiful bouquet for her big wedding turned elopement. We rescheduled for December and COVID was still going strong. But we managed to pull off an intimate December Disco themed wedding. Dillon and his team were an absolute dreammmm to work with!!! From the very beginning, sitting down and getting to know our whole vision, to then postponing our wedding twice due to covid, I feel like we went through a lot together!! Dillon is the absolute BEST. I seriously look forward to every chance I get to speak with him, he manages to achieve the balance of being a complete professional while also making you feel like you're actually friends and not just a client. Beyond the fact that he's just a great human being, his work speaks for itself. The floral arrangements we received for our wedding were stunning. I absolutely loved them.
Lastly, and probably most importantly, Dillon was truly amazing when we had a change of plans and needed to not only dramatically scale back our order, but also change to a new location outside of Wilmington. Given the hit that wedding businesses have taken this year, I personally have seen quite a few vendors who have proven to be unfair or unyielding in their approach to working with brides trying to navigate COVID wedding planning. Dillon is not only one of the good ones - he is one of the best. In a time where everything is uncertain, Dillon could not have made me more comfortable or been more understanding about our change of plans and decision to downsize and relocate.
He did not try to push us to get anything beyond what he truly thought that we needed to make our space look fantastic (even if this meant that our floral budget was much smaller than the one we originally planned). He even figured out creative solutions to avoid us having to pay for extra delivery/set up fees since we were now going to be 2.5 hours away from his studio in Wilmington. AND after all of that, also went so far as to provide us with extra greenery at no cost in case we needed it (which I am SO glad he did because it was the absolute perfect touch).
I could go on for so much longer, but I'll spare you and just say - book Dillon. You will not regret it, he is 120% amazing and a delight to work with. -

Dillon is hands-down the best florist you can work with in Wilmington. I first came across Dillon's work at my local hair salon and started following him on Instagram.
When I found out he did weddings, I didn't look any further!
Aesthetically speaking, his arrangements will out-do anyone else's - he has an eye for design and whether you want something more traditional (which I went for) or outside of the box (which I considered switching to after seeing how beautiful his colorful arrangements were), he is the best there is.
My work with Dillon began with an hour and a half meeting at a coffee shop so we could meet each other, I could share my design ideas, and he could level with me about what was realistic for our theme, colors, time of year and price range. He promptly sent a proposal that included exact breakdowns of everything I wanted, their cost and any extras he thought we would need. We ended up using him for not only floral design work, but also some decorations, which made our lives much easier because he could match these small rentals (candle holders, lanterns, etc.) to our floral arrangements and then set them up and take them away.
Aside from the fact that he does great work, Dillon also appeared to offer the best pricing in town - his proposal far undercut any base packages other vendors offered, so I didn't even request formal proposals from other florists. This included the small rentals he included in our proposal.
Dillon has a great relationship with all of the coordinators, venues and rental vendors in town, taking one less to-do off your plate in making introductions among vendors.
The true testament to Dillon's professionalism is in the fact that when I tried to change my mind about the look of the arrangements 5 days before the wedding (after he already ordered all of my flowers), Dillon calmy and kindly invited me to his house to show me what the flowers looked like and reassured me I had made the right choice.
There is no one else like him, and if you are lucky enough to have him available during your wedding weekend, you should always, always try to work with him! -
