Stunning wedding flowers and so lovely to work with!

Designs by Ahn did the florals for our wedding in September 2024 and we are SO happy we went with them! We worked with Riane throughout the process and she was always so lovely to work with. She was always friendly and quick with her responses! Never once in the process did we not feel like we were in good, confident, and capable hands. Neither my partner nor I had a super clear vision of what we wanted for our flowers and Riane helped us develop a vision that we fell in love with. We had two meetings in person and both times we went to the space, we felt so confident in our decision to work with them because their offices are bursting with absolutely gorgeous flower displays. The wedding day itself went extremely smooth and they created such a stunning, dreamy display. We’re so happy we went with Designs by Ahn - they make beautiful floral displays that feel interesting and not cookie cutter. Truly jaw dropping! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful flowers!!!

Designs By Ahn did the flowers for my wedding at The River Cafe and they were beautiful. Riane was my point of contact and she was amazing to work with. I wanted a mix of pinks and pastel colors and they delivered. The flowers appeared darker in person than I had envisioned but in the sun and in pictures they looked perfect and exactly what I wanted. I was also able to pick the vases I wanted for the reception table center pieces from a beautiful selection. The cherry on top was that we could take home the flowers and vases at the end of the event so our guests were able to pick a piece that they liked to bring home. I’d definitely recommend them again!

The Gomez Wedding - Best Florist Ever!

Being that I'm a type-A Aquarius, I was SUPER excited to create the romantic and moody fall wedding of my dreams. Without a doubt, Designs By Ahn brought the vision to life. Victoria was incredible to work with, and an enormous support not only in terms of vision, but also in regards to budget. She was honest and solutions oriented. The ceiling of our cocktail hour tent was absolutely stunning, and the table arrangements were breathtaking. I can't wait to get back the rest of our photos to enjoy the intentionality all over again!

SUCH beautiful flowers

I worked with Designs by Ahn through my ~2.5 year engagement and COVID postponement. They were absolutely wonderful to work with - Extremely organized, communicative, and so so talented. I'm not the most artistic person but also know what I like and don't like and Designs by Ahn was able to take my vague directions and execute beautifully. Brought my pinterest board to life!

The floral design of our wedding reception was something I was very excited and particular about so I can't express enough how grateful I am to have chosen Designs by Ahn. Victoria's creations are absolutely stunning and I teared up when I saw the final product on the day of. She brought my vision to life and really went out of her way to find my flower of choice for the arrangements despite them not being in season. All our guests were in awe and kept complimenting the floral decor! From the hanging ceiling vines to the blooming entryway, everything looked like an enchanted garden. She was also very transparent with the cost of any additions to the invoice and worked to stay within my budget while not sacrificing the vision. Highly recommend if you want to have beautiful romantic floral arrangements at your event!

From the early stages of planning til the day of, the team is attentive to your ideas and needs and is comforting throughout the whole process. We were recommended DbA by a friend who had chosen them for her wedding and were not disappointed by the results. It started with a straightforward quote, which was refined after an in-person consultation. Victoria and team were able to fit what we wanted within our budget, and best of all, had worked with our venue many times in the past and had the familiarity of what worked best in the space, especially since we were not very knowledgeable. Other than a minor issue locating a bouquet during the morning delivery, we would consider the experience with DbA flawless and were very impressed by the arrangements they produced. Patient and wonderful

I was not easy for them to work with! It took multiple visits for me to narrow down what I wanted and also communicate it but through it all this florist was patient and eager to help. In the end the flowers for the reception and the arch for the ceremony were GORGEOUS.

Dreamy perfection!

When my now husband and I were researching florals for our wedding, we didn't know quite what we were looking for, but I knew I loved Victoria's work and her aesthetic. I loved the organic, soft, and wild-but-elegant-and-romantic vibe. Once we met Victoria in-person for an initial discussion and proposal, we knew she was the one we could trust with taking a vision and bringing it to life in her own way.

Thank you to Victoria and the DBA team for leading us through the planning (from initial proposal to making countless edits over months leading up to the wedding and through to the day of!) and being true partners in the process. The team was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and when things were more easily discussed in-person, a face-to-face meeting would be arranged. We had 2 venues (cathedral for our ceremony and Essex House for our reception) and the coordination to make that it all happen -- and to transport some of the elements from cathedral to Essex House -- was perfection.

Our wedding florals were breathtakingly gorgeous and we are so grateful to Victoria and the DBA team for turning our vision into a reality so beautifully and gracefully. STUNNING!!!

Incredible florals & professionalism

Victoria Ahn from Designs by Ahn truly defines professionalism and artistic talent all wrapped up into one. She has an incredible eye for florals and colors, and produced jaw dropping arrangements that we and our guests could not get enough of. Her team responded quickly to my emails, worked with me in my budget, and provided seamless delivery and pickup. Excellent!!

I am writing this review to share my very positive experience of working with Designs by Ahn - from my initial proposal to my wedding day and after! The consistency of how pleasant the whole experience has been still nearly brings to me to tears so here is my condensed note to help other brides like myself who are looking for a creative, sophisticated team that will be trustworthy partners for a very special day.

I knew some clear concepts that I wanted and had some notes when I first connected with Designs by Ahn (after another floral designer friend recommended her, which was already a good sign). We had clear and pleasant walk through of what should be included in her proposal and I walked away feeling heard. And I was right! The colors, styles, and my preferences that were important distinctions were all noted and accounted for in my proposal and I immediately felt at ease choosing someone who could listen to me, guide me with her expertise, AND be truly sincerely pleasant and friendly the entire time.

The team and I connected at some point briefly prior to the my design meeting to quickly revise some estimates on the amount of candles and tables. This was easy to manage and set us up for an easy decor meeting that was a relief amidst a number of other more stressful wedding tasks I had. For example, I had stressed the importance of greenery to me and this was reflected. I had given specific numbers for candles (many many) and it was tracked, noted ... I felt both heard and guided leading up to the big day.

And on my wedding day, Victoria earned all the reviews, recommendations, and future work I can offer due to a number of key items. Most importantly, the vision came alive as we had discussed! I felt like ALL the candles and ALL the flowers came together in the VERY BEST version of our plan. Second, she executed like an absolute pro - our venue had an extremely tight turnaround for the ceremony space and the team set up HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of candles and flowers!! Lastly, she went above and beyond. For my mid-October wedding, I had wanted Lily of the Valley for my bridal bouquet but understood from early conversations that it is a SPRING flower and may not be the best choice. On my wedding day, months later, despite no other follow up from me, I stared in disbelief that the Designs by Ahn team had successfully found the beautiful flower for my dream bouquet. I felt special and prepared for an amazing celebration!!

Major WOW Factor

Floral design was a very important aspect to us while we were planning our wedding. We met with several florists before meeting Victoria but once we stepped in to her showroom, we knew we had to work with her. Her designs are modern yet timeless at once and her use of color is incredible. Our venue, Tavern on the Green, already provides a lot of greenery as a backdrop and we really wanted the flowers to make a statement against that. We asked to have flowers hanging from our tent over the dance floor, but didn’t give much direction other than that. When we walked into our reception, we were totally blown away by what her and her team were able to create. On top of all this, their quote was very reasonable and worth every penny. Easily the best floral design team in NYC. Thank you for making our floral dreams come true!

Out-of-this-world gorgeous

The flowers Designs by Ahn provided for our wedding were simply unbelievable. The arch in particular took my breath away, and I couldn't possibly count the number of compliments we heard from our guests. I'm even having blooms from my bouquet preserved. Better than my Pinterest board

That’s seriously the first thing I said when I saw the flowers - it was better than I could have ever envisioned. I have Victoria a super detailed PowerPoint deck with pictures of exactly what we wanted and she totally ran with the vision and made it better than I would have thought! They totally know what they’re doing and do everything is a super reasonable budget. Just walking into their cute studio on 5th ave, I felt like I was at home. It’s adorable decorated and all the woman are so friendly and very responsive and accommodating. I did soooo much research and interviewed over 10 different florists too and I couldn’t recomendable them more!

Best Decision!

Victoria and her team completely exceeded my expectations! The reception space and the Church completely took my breath away. They were able to transform the industrial space at 26 Bridge into the most romantic indoor garden party I’ve ever seen. Every piece of floral was created with such care and detail. My day to day contact Emily was very responsive and did a great job helping us with any creative revisions we needed to make. Truly Stunning

Flowers were a last minute decision for us. We hadn't really thought about it, due to the fact that we were sort of eloping. When we started looking I wasn't sure what I wanted for my bouquet, until I found Designs by Ahn. Her work is simply stunning, and I couldn't have been happier with our flowers. We had a bouquet, and six matching bits for our guests (that's why it was only a sort of elopement). Everything was perfect, it was delivered to our hotel on the morning of our wedding, on time, and safely packaged. The flowers also came in a glass vase, which I kept the bouquet in for the rest of our trip. The designs and details were perfect, down to the thistles my now husband wanted, as we're Scottish. They were the perfect addition to the day, they looked beautiful even after being carried around New York for nearly 9 hours, and I now couldn't imagine the day without them. If you are looking for a florist, I highly recommend Designs By Ahn. They make the whole process very simple, they understand exactly what you want and are very accommodating. They are also very quick to respond, something I really appreciated with being so far away!

Spectacular and super creative florist

Working with Victoria and her team was wonderful! She is so talented and humble and she did an incredible job making our vision come to life on our special day. Exceeded all expectations!

We are immensely grateful to Designs by Ahn for fulfilling our vision for our wedding! We knew we wanted “formal wildflowers,” and Victoria worked with us every step of the way to create arrangements that were elegant but still captured our vibrant, colorful theme. Our arch was a simply stunning backdrop for our ceremony, and afterwards all our guests were excited to take pictures with it!

In addition to our arrangements, we had several special requests for the team, and Victoria was completely accommodating of every one of them. My mother had made fabric flowers for me out of her own wedding dress, and Victoria was able to beautifully incorporate them into my bouquet. My husband wanted unique boutonnieres for himself and his groomsmen, and he was thrilled at the finished product! Victoria was also able to provide our guests with petals to throw during the recessional and to add taper and votive candles to all of the dining tables so that the reception glowed with light.

We cannot thank Victoria enough for her warmth, patience, and creativity. We knew as soon as we saw her work that she was the only florist we wanted to work with, and she not only fulfilled but exceeded all our expectations. We are also thankful for Jay, Emily, Taylor, and the rest of Victoria’s team for being so timely with their responses and so communicative throughout the planning process! They made what could have been a stressful process into something that was exciting and fun.

We will be recommending Designs by Ahn to all our friends who get engaged in the future!!!

Garden Party in the City

I met Victoria at a Wedding Expo before I started planning my wedding, and after seeing her work, I planned my whole wedding around the flowers! Saying she and her team exceeded every expectation would be an understatement. Her team was always so incredibly responsive, and she was able to help me create the most magical day while also staying pretty much on budget! (one too many additions on my part put me a little over, but everything was clearly discussed up front and along the way with any change I made, so I could adjust as necessary to make it work). She was always ready with an opinion or suggestion if I needed it, and had all the last minute items to help everything come together that I had forgotten. I'm beyond thrilled that I have detail photos of my wedding day to re-live the beauty she created. Beyond gorgeous!

Victoria, Emily, Jay and the DBA team are phenomenal!

Victoria was very flexible and patient when we are discussing options and budget, even offered a preview before we booked. Emily helped us revised and followed up with every details leading up to the big day. Jay not only delivered the result but went above and beyond to create our one-of-a-kind asymmetrical alter decoration, geometric center pieces and amazing pie table arrangements.

We had a a romantic fall Brooklyn wedding, thanks to DBA. If you are in the NYC area, look no further. This is the florist who does not have a minimal and will work with you until you are happy!

Ahn and Emily were wonderful during my planning process. Ahn, is an artist with flowers and candles!! Victoria and the entire Designs by Ahn team were absolutely WONDERFUL. First of all, I have to lead with the fact that their value is INCREDIBLE.

The service, professionalism and quality of what they do was all above and beyond what I expected and at such a great value. The team even added additional candles/flowers that they "knew we liked" that wasn't in our original budget/plan (and did this purely out of kindness as added value!)

Victoria was so intuitive and knew exactly what I wanted and grasped onto our style and aesthetic immediately. Our first meeting together was so productive and I never had to change or nit-pick at any of her selections--she TOTALLY nailed it.

The team on the day-of was early, efficient, set up everything exactly as we had asked for and did it all PERFECTLY. Per my last comment, they even added additional "touches" on the day of that we didn't even expect or pay for--just to make the room that much better. They were all so very kind, professional, and amazing to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I used Designs by Ahn as the Florists for my venue and they did a spectacular job. The flowers were beautiful and very classy and looked much more expensive than they were. They knew my venue, Tappan Hill Mansion very well and were able to transform the reception space into a really warm, inviting and beautiful space. Their prices were very reasonable compared to the other vendors I looked at and but their designs were extremely beautiful and tasteful. They have studio on 5th Ave in Manhattan and you would expect their prices to be way more expensive given the quality and care they take when designing your bouquet. They were able to provide a sample of my flowers after I signed the contract but there are great pictures of their work on yelp and Instagram that truly depict their style and design expertise.

They were really receptive to working within my budget and were still able to execute my vision under the constraints I gave them. A few days before the wedding, I had second thoughts and asked to remove the installation of lights from my contract and Designs By Ahn was kind enough to take it off my contract and give me a refund. It was truly a pleasure working with the team. They do really beautiful work and have a tasteful eye for design.

Designs by Ahn was an easy choice for my wedding florist! I loved their work from pictures I had seen on instagram so knew I wanted to go with them as long as they were in my budget, and luckily they were! They were extremely reasonable when it came to cost and worked with me on my budget. My flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. You didnt feel like you were getting cheated with volume either, the centerpieces and our bouquets were all filled with beautiful flowers and greens. Even the bud vases were much bigger than expected, so you really felt like you were getting value for your money which was so nice. They were so quick to respond to any email, and I had so many questions about candles, they were so sweet and flexible and worked with me until we figured out the best plan and it turned out exactly as I had envisioned. Everything was beautiful and they made my day so special. They were even so sweet and threw in flowers for my cake at no extra cost!

There are no words to express how blown away I was with Designs by Ahn and the floral arrangements for my wedding. I fell in love with Victoria's bouquets in New York Magazine's wedding showcases, and though I didn't know anyone else that had hired her, I took a chance and was not disappointed. Every time I met with or spoke to Victoria or her team I felt a connection, like they implicitly understood the vision I had, even if I didn't know how to articulate that vision or even what I wanted. Victoria was incredibly patient and understanding with all of our changes and last-minute requests, and always made me feel like she was on my team even when I had disagreements with my parents about what I was looking for. Victoria transformed the country club that was my venue into a fairytale - it's been a few weeks now, and people are still talking about the flowers. I cried when I saw my chuppah. Victoria created a lush, warm, romantic feel with greenery, deep colors, and candlelight, and it was everything I could have ever wanted. Victoria was also very fair with the budget, and while our final invoice ended up being quite a bit more than what we started with, she always told us when something we asked for would cost extra and helped us decide where to cut down when we could. Not only did I love working with Victoria as a person, but she went above and beyond to create the most amazing setting for my wedding and I couldn't imagine anything having been more perfect.

Our venue recommended Victoria and we're so glad they did! She has a great eye for design and extremely reasonable prices. A few days before the wedding she was available for us to drop off some material from the bridesmaids dresses to wrap the bouquets, which were a lovely personal touch. She took our request to use sunflowers as the focal flower and built gorgeous centerpieces and a chuppah (marriage canopy) with that in mind. I had been hesitant about spending a lot on flowers but everything was tasteful and lovely, a perfect addition to a beautiful day!

I really can't say enough amazing things about Designs by Ahn, who provided the flowers and décor for my wedding this July. Starting with the first consultation, it was clear to me that Victoria and her team understood my vision (without me having to say much because I really don't know much about flowers and décor!). She also made sure to keep within our budget. Whenever I asked for something new, she would tell me right away whether it would impact it. She is creative when it comes to working within the budget - for example, she repurposed most if not all of our church flowers to be used at the cocktail hour and reception at no additional cost. Most importantly, the flowers and way she presented them were beyond my wildest dreams. I am not an emotional person and I cried when my venue gave me a private room reveal. Her taste is incredible and she works magic. Additionally, she and her team were easy to work with and very kind (non-intimidating, unlike other NYC florists). Also, her pricing is very fair. I met with other florists and they quoted me thousands of dollars more for the same thing. You will not regret choosing Designs by Ahn! I am already thinking of throwing other events just so I can work with them again - and I was never a flowers person before this!

It was the day after wedding day but I have to say, I (and everyone else) was so impressed with your artistry in the bouquet and boutonnière! Never have I seen such an amazing and beautiful compilation of flowers. I wish they would last forever, (although they did last for several days after even without a proper water vase!). Designs by Ahn did the flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception in Chelsea New York this April. They did an incredible job, from the planning stages to the event. The office staff, who coordinated with us ahead of the event, were wonderful to work with and top professionals. Victoria has a great aesthetic eye and is so easy to work with. Design sensibility is key when planning an event this grand and she does it with ease, style and grace! They were always quick to respond. And even though we made changes up until the last moment they never had a problem with it. On the wedding day, the blossoms in the church were perfect, in size, color and stature, and they put them in a perfect spot, where they created a beautiful archway for me to walk through. For the reception, the tables were more than exquisite. They helped me order and choose the tablecloths from a huge array of books that they had and they coordinated all of the details. I purchased some items for the table and rented others, and again they were flexible with it all. The florals were a muted tonality that matched my dress, which was a mocha cocoa blush color. They were perfect and talked about by all! They came in and set everything up during the day so by the time I walked in it was perfection! We used candelabras, candles, and votive candles, and these were magnificent and just as we had envisioned for the space. The professional way that Victoria’s team worked and got the job done was very much appreciated by all. They handled any last minute details and situations on the spot, were incredible to work with all the way from set up, moving the pieces from the chapel to the reception area, and the break down organization. We felt honored to work with Designs by Ahn and would highly recommend them to all. This team is amazing and the flowers are beyond gorgeous - went far and beyond our expectations! Be sure to bring pictures and inspiration as they can do ANYTHING. Working with Designs by Ahn for our wedding was a dream. I first met with Victoria to discuss our floral needs in her beautiful and minimal space in the floral district. She worked with me to provide something within our budget and I immediately trusted her implicitly. When I first met with Victoria, my primary goal was to find a florist willing to creatively tackle a frugal floral budget. I knew DBA was the right choice when I noticed that Victoria and her team never pushed more expensive floral designs on me (unless I specifically asked for them) while being excited about how to work around my budget. Over the course of the year, however, I developed a newfound appreciation for flowers and the impact they have on a wedding's atmosphere and experience, and as a result stopped by Victoria's studio numerous times to rework the contract to include more flowers and details. Victoria and her team (with a special shout out to Michelle) were so patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. In addition, DBA's prices are so reasonable, especially in New York City, and Victoria is very trustworthy. I knew that every extra dollar I spent would go toward a more lush centerpiece and not fatter margins. In a handful of instances, Victoria even stopped me from allocating more money to particular floral arrangements, warning me that it was not worth it.

Most importantly, the flowers on wedding day were UNBELIEVABLE. They were stunning in every way imaginable. From the beautiful, delicate Silk & Willow dusty blue ribbons that Victoria used on our bouquets to the lush high centerpieces, everything looked like a dream. Victoria executed my floral vision for the wedding flawlessly, and her team did not miss a single detail (and the floral details list was long...) Victoria also helped me pick the most beautiful dusty blue and gold linens for my reception tables that were a real game changer.

Victoria's team also worked incredibly efficiently on wedding day. I am so, so thankful to Victoria and her team at DBA, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with them again in the future. Thank you Victoria!!!

If you need a wedding florist in NYC, look no further.. Designs by Ahn was flawless! I wish I could give them 20 stars they did such an incredible job.

Everything came out absolutely perfect!!! We loved it all! My bride bouquet was gorgeous, my beloved father passed away a few months prior to my wedding and they did an amazing job tying in a piece of my dad's tie and his picture with the grey canvas wrap of my bridal bouquet. They also did our cake flowers, which we got SOOO many compliments on. The corsages, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, church flowers, everything - it was literally ALL perfect!!!!!

Everything came in a timely manner, to the correct locations (and we had various locations throughout NYC) and it all looked absolutely beautiful. We honestly can't thank them enough for doing such a wonderful job. We will continue to recommend this florist to our friends and we are going to use them again for future occasions!

We used Designs by Ahn for our wedding flowers, at the Wythe Hotel on 8/28.

The whole team there was extremely professional, and we loved the end result. The table flowers, votives, trellis and aisle arrangements were fantastic - and even better than we could've hoped for! Many of the guests commented on how beautiful they were, and were even able to take some of the table arrangements home with them at the end of the night.

We met with them a couple of times prior to the wedding, first to discuss designs, budgets and ideas - then again to refine some of the specifics and see a mock up of a table arrangement. The process was great, and they were extremely helpful and accommodating.

I used Designs by Ahn for my wedding in Manhattan on August 20th, 2016 and they were phenomenal to work with! Victoria was not pushy about budget and she worked with what we had. She and her team were always very responsive when I reached out to them. We met with them initially to go over what we were looking for and to go over the details and we actually went back a few months before the wedding to see a mock up of what the centerpieces could look like -- I am very detail oriented so when I saw the mock up, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't exactly what I envisioned but realized I just needed to have faith in them and gave them feedback and rolled with it. Since I was a little nervous still (and I'm also a pain in the ass and wanted to be happy with my flowers!!), they sent photos of my bouquet and a centerpiece the day before the wedding and I absolutely LOVED it. They really listened to what I envisioned and hit the nail on the head. The arch they made was so beautiful and vibrant and the entire reception looked amazing. I was so sad when my bouquet finally kicked the bucket a few days later. I would highly recommend them-they definitely know what they are doing!

I selected them because I loved their previous work and loved every suggestion. We went over ideas in detail beforehand, so I had a good idea of what the flowers would look like, but showing up at the reception I was still completely blown away by how gorgeous everything looked. I found Designs By Ahn online when I was looking for florists. The best thing was they were so close to the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and Hotel Wolcott (where I got ready) so the flowers arrived fresh. I am giving them an overall rating of 5 stars because not only were they flexible but they were able to work around the budget I gave them! I let Victoria (designer) have full control of the bouquets and corsages (with the exception of the groomsmen buttoniere - I requested a white orchid). I am so glad that I did because I couldn't have picked a better set of flowers! I ended up using the bouquets as a decor for the bride and groom's table at the reception. She is also so close to my work so getting to her location was a breeze!

Victoria is incredible. When I saw her work on Instagram, etc., I knew I loved her arrangements, but I had a really specific look in mind for our arch, bouquets and garlands, so I wanted to be sure we would agree on our overall look. Victoria is extremely accommodating (we had meetings over the phone and in person on late weekdays and even holidays because of my work schedule), so easy to talk to (we frequently e-mailed with her office in between), an excellent listener and consummate professional. She absolutely blew our socks off on the day of. I actually gasped when I walked into the reception - we absolutely could not have been happier. I cannot speak highly enough of Victoria and her team, and I truly believe you can end your search for a florist here. The florist selection was the most difficult part of the wedding process for me. I felt that I had a mid-range budget, but in NYC it appears that most florists won't even speak with you unless you have >$10K to spend. Frustrated, I contacted DBA and I could not be more happy. She was willing to work within my budget and put together a proposal that was reasonable and detailed. We met a few times, only briefly, but she took my minimal directions and absolutely ran with it to create the most stunning reception I could have imagined.

Three days before our wedding, when I learned it was going to rain, I panicked believing that my beautiful, Spring wedding was now going to look dreary. I contacted DBA and with TWO days notice and no guidance from me, she put together the most stunning floral arch for the ceremony. My bouquet was a beautiful size and lasted throughout the day. I received endless compliments on the florals during our reception and I know the bridesmaids loved their bouquets. I can highly recommend DBA and I'm so thankful that I chose them.

After seeing my dress and my bridesmaids dresses, the flowers were very purposefully arranged and at Victoria's suggestion, the bouquets were tied with ribbons leaving a long strand. Loved the outcome.

I think the best part was Victoria and her team's flexibility to work with our budget and ability to change up our contract as needed. A few weeks before our wedding day I wanted to add a couple of altar pieces and a few taller centerpieces (without blowing up my budget). It all came out perfectly. Their team was able to flip our ceremony to 26 reception tables (in the same room) within 1 hour. All communications were professional and prompt.

I cannot speak highly enough of this team. I am from Pittsburgh and did not have the opportunity to meet with them in person prior to my wedding. They were professional, provided prompt responses to all of my emails, and worked with me to design my perfect bouquet. I ended up picking Designs By Ahn based on Yelp! I had reached out to a couple of vendors that were recommended by my venue and the estimates were unbelievably high which made me nervous. When I spoke with Designs By Ahn, they asked me my budget and created a proposal that corresponded which made me feel at ease from the start. I admit I know nothing about flowers and went in to meetings with a very general idea of what I wanted the wedding to look like. I have to say, going in to their studio alone is an experience, the warm and welcome atmosphere and amazing smell of gorgeous flowers makes you not want to leave!! Even though I booked them well in advance, I did make a couple changes very close to the date and they were extremely flexible with everything. They had no issues delivering bouquets and boutinnieres to the hotel before bringing everything else to the venue. I got so many compliments, especially on the chuppah which was so stunning and elegant. Everything was even better than I pictured and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved working with Victoria and her team!! First of all, loved her and the ambiance at her studio that convinced me i could rely on her to create the decor i wanted at my wedding. She is so sweet, but also clearly has a specific aesthetic, and is so hard working. She was open to my frequent changes, and accommodating my ideas to my budget! Her company seems like a well oiled machine. On the day of my wedding, the set up was so quick and easy, that i didn't even notice they were there. I was so glad I was able to find DBA after contacting and meeting with a few florists serving the Mnhttn area.. The quotes I got from most sounded very inflated while another told me my vision couldn't be achieved under a certain budget.. However, Victoria's tone was more open and approachable..

Given that brides are notoriously the hardest type of clients to please, her persistant pleasantness left a lasting impression.. I had pretty specific ideas and she was able to create my vision according to my desriptions in a series of emails that they somehow managed to keep a very good track of.. I had never seen photos of hers with the type of garland runners I had in mind so I was very nervous about how she would interpret all my ideas but it was the best feeling when we walked into our venue tranformed with all their beautiful touches just as I had dreamt of! She even sourced a particular type of candelabra for our tables and was able to get my favorite type of flowers for my bouquet.. Thank you!

Even left w/o specific descriptions, she would create a more beautiful look better than what you would expect.. I would recommend her for any type of wedding big or small as she seems flexible -coincidently I discovered 3 mutual friends are using her as well..

Her flowers were so so important in creating a romantic and dreamy ambience to our wedding!

Designs by Ahn created the most beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets and floral ceremony arch for my wedding this past weekend. Everything was amazing. The space looked exactly how I had envisioned it in my head and my guests were completely in awe.

Hands down the florals at our wedding had to have been the most beautiful I have ever seen. From the moment we first met with Victoria, I knew she would be able to capture my vision perfectly. Every time we visited her beautiful loft/workspace, I didn't want to leave! Being the "particular " bride that I am, Victoria was so patient with me and was extremely accomodating tailoring things based on the millions of photos I sent for inspiration. She has such an eye for unique and beautiful arrangements and was so extremely willing to make sure everything was just right for us.

The day of the wedding she and her team showed up on time and worked so amazingly hard putting together the stunning table runner made of florals and hanging the 40 plus paper stars we were married under. I heard about Design's by Ahn through my friends, and I'm so glad I chose her to be my florist on my wedding day!
Victoria and her team put together spectacular flower arrangements. From the start she was very professional and responsive.
I told her a strict budget and she was able to stick within it and also made suggestions. She also put together a sample on my second visit. Can't even describe how beautiful my fall bouquet and crown were for my elopement in October. I sent them a few photos of what I was looking for and kind of just left it in their hands. When I received the delivery on the day of the wedding (even earlier than the delivery time) I was in awe, they created a masterpiece! I planned my small wedding in NYC from Texas and it was a real challenge not knowing any NYC vendors. I did a ton of looking and one day, just by chance, came across the Designs by Ahn website. I saw just what I was looking for. They provided bouquets for me and my daughter and a bout for my husband. They could not have been more beautiful or perfect. Working with DBA was a real treat because they are not only talented but friendly and easy to deal with. Designs by Ahn created all of the floral arrangements for our wedding at the Stonemill at the New York Botanical Garden, and we were so pleased with everything!! It was such a pleasure to work with Victoria and her team throughout the whole process from the first consultation up until the wedding day. We planned our wedding from London, so it was difficult to meet with vendors face to face, but the DBA team was always very responsive to our emails and would accommodate us when we were in town before the wedding to talk through everything. Just got married this past weekend and had the DBA team as our florist. We searched and met with a few florists/event designers before finding DBA and meeting with Victoria -- it was literally love at first sight. My husband and I felt completely comfortable entrusting Victoria and her team with our wedding florals. We’d seen her amazing work at our friends’ weddings, and she came highly recommended by couples we knew who had worked with her before. The entire Designs by Ahn team was very responsive to emails, easy to work with, and helpful throughout the process. During our initial consult, Victoria provided helpful input on flowers and arrangements that would best suit our venue, vision, and – most importantly – budget. (Because we got married in a large, modern loft space, Victoria recommended tall centerpieces that worked beautifully in our venue: lush seasonal branches with hanging candles. They were absolutely gorgeous, and we would have never thought of them on our own!)

Victoria put together a sample centerpiece for us after our initial consultation, which was super helpful for us to better envision how the flowers would look at our wedding. She was flexible with setting up additional consults, and we met with her about a week and a half before our wedding day to finalize all of the details. A few days in advance of the wedding, Victoria put together the bridal bouquet, which gave me the chance to see if it matched what I envisioned and to make any changes that I wanted.

On the day of the wedding, Victoria and her team were there on time and put everything together beautifully! We are very happy with our decision to work with Designs by Ahn and would happily recommend them to anyone planning their wedding today!

The Designs by Ahn team was so wonderful to work with! Victoria and her employees were always responsive with email, and our in-person meetings went well. I even decided to change the color of my flowers slightly, and Victoria met with me to go over my new ideas. Victoria also meets with you a few days before the wedding to show you actual samples of what the bridal bouquet and the centerpiece will look like, which really put me at ease.

The day of the wedding, Designs by Ahn delivered my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, and the boys' boutonnieres to the hotel before going to the wedding venue to set up. Our flowers were gorgeous, lush, perfect! She even found peonies in August! (They are my favorite.) My husband's boutonniere was really interesting and unique too. (I don't remember what kind of flower it was, but it had a cool texture.)

At the venue, they created an absolutely gorgeous arch for our ceremony backdrop! For the reception, they alternated floral centerpieces with taller, leafy centerpieces with hanging candles. I got a lot of compliments on the flowers and they pulled the whole wedding together! Thanks, DBA!

Victoria did an incredible job on the flowers for my wedding! From our initial meeting she was able to go through several photos and help me determine what type of flowers I liked and didn't like, and bring my vision to life. I am hardly a flower expert, I just knew I wanted the flowers to look fresh, modern and summery. She came up with a beautiful mix of peonies, rananculus, roses and several other accent flowers (which I don't know the name of, all I know is that they looked GORGEOUS!). Before the wedding she put together a sample bouquet for me to make sure that she had my vision correct, and make any changes to the look. I received so many compliments on the flowers and wish to this day that I could have my bouquet as a permanent fixture in my home to look at daily, it was that beautiful. I cannot sing Victoria's praises enough! I just got married last weekend, and I was so in love with how my flowers came out. I had always dreamed of a "Style Me Pretty" worthy wedding, which is how I found Victoria in the first place. I loved her from our first meeting- she got my vision instantly and helped me come up with additional ideas to execute it. The best part was she was able to do so within my budget. I have truly never seen more beautiful wedding flowers. And all of the little details she was able to add (candelabras, sequin tablecloths, etc.), pulled the look together perfectly. You know when people try to replicate pictures they find on Pinterest and it turns into a disaster? Victoria and her team are truly spectacular. They decorated my wedding in Long Island City on 5/23/15. If you are looking for a florist and stylist all in one, look no further. I can't even describe how positive my experience was with DBA. Victoria and the team are talented, tasteful, fair, organized, upbeat and provide an amazingly rich amount of flowers and decor for the cost. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

This shop had such great reviews on all of the wedding blogs, I knew I had to make an appointment. Victoria and her staff absolutely exceeded all of my expectations and created dream flowers for my wedding day on 2.15.2015!! I knew when I saw the sample arrangements on her website and reviews online, I had to have Designs By Ahn as my wedding florist.

Meeting with Victoria was a real treat. Her studio is all white and modern with gorgeous flowers everywhere. It felt like a mini vacation. It was evident that she really loves what she does. Together we looked at pictures from Pinterest and she was able to guide me through some ideas that accommodated my style, venue, color preferences and favorite flowers. Victoria created a quote based on exactly everything we wanted; she even explained the price ranges so that I had options to pick from so that she could accommodate my budget.

Victoria is kind, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She responded very quickly to emails and when I told her what our budget was, she was so flexible.

My wedding flowers were to die for. She nailed the colors and textures to fit the historic venue, winter season as well as my dress. Victoria created beautiful bouquets, center pieces and boutonnières. My bouquet was a lovely mix of tulips,ranunculus,
anemone, brunia, amnesia rose, berries, dusty miller, hand-wrapped in a satin ribbon. The boutonnières were blue thistle with grey brunia wrapped in black and white striped ribbon. During our wedding reception, people kept raving about how unique the flowers and boutonnières were.

We got so many compliments on our flowers and the pictures are stunning. I have already referred someone to use her services. Book with Designs By Ahn, you won't be disappointed!!

Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Victoria and her team. From beginning to end she made our day. So professional, on our first meeting she listened attentively to my vision and added in her own good taste to make it fit our venue. On our second meeting before we signed the contracts with her she had set up an entire mock table (floating candles, mercury votives, arrangements in 2 different sizes in my colours). She even dimmed the lights so we could see what the room would look like. It was so impressive. And we knew we were in good hands. She never bombarded me with emails, just the necessary ones. And I think we adjusted our budget 3 times, as we got closer to the day and things changed. She never made me feel like a burden, always happy to respond to my questions and concerns within the same day!

Day of, she made our space what it was! She and her team are organized, aware of pricing, and truly have a great eye for colour and size within a space. Their level of taste and quality comes through in the arrangement themselves and in the small details within the chuppah and the additions like our lanterns throughout the space.

I would say 100% no question, go for Designs by Ahn. You will be so grateful on your wedding day that you did.

Victoria and her staff did an absolutely stunning job on my wedding flowers. She took my favorite flower - blush peonies - and created beautiful bouquets and centerpieces that used other complementary flowers so we didn't break the bank. The chuppah she described on paper was "birch with some floral accents." What I saw on my wedding day was incredible and almost brought me to tears. The flowers were full, the colors were bright. You won't go wrong with Designs by Ahn.

I'm am still over the moon about the stupendous job Victoria and her team did. They were such a pleasure to work with - true professionals - they were so incredibly flexible and kind as we changed our concept a few times. I'm also a super Type A individual and they entertained every obsessive detail I threw their way with grace!

The value for the cost is very good. By the way, they do sample arrangements free of charge, even before you sign on. There were a couple florists I heard of who charge the same cost as your final table and even if you hire them this is non-refundable. Victoria is very wise to understand that creating a gratis sample is just a cost of business if you want to win over your customer.

The guests cannot stop talking about the flowers, from ceremony to reception. It was everything we dreamed of and so much more. I can't speak highly enough of Victoria and the DBA team! They truly knocked it out of the park. Thank you Victoria and team!

Victoria is amazing! I had the idea that I wanted to do cherry blossoms for my centerpieces and she suggested beautiful arrangements with hanging candles. Quality of flowers were amazing. Also helpful that she was very responsive and made mock-ups of centerpieces before I signed a contract with her (at no cost).

Victoria's flowers were absolutely stunning! With something as unpredictable as flowers, I felt really comfortable working with Victoria and I really trusted her aesthetic judgment. She knew exactly what we wanted based on just a few pictures we provided, and I felt at ease knowing that our flowers were in her hands. She graciously checked the colors on a sample bridesmaid bouquet the day before, and made adjustments based on our feedback. What she eventually delivered on the big day was exactly what we had imagined and all the arrangements were lush, fresh, and gorgeous!

Victoria and her team created an absolutely breathtaking environment for my wedding. The team was able to achieve the exact look-and-feel which I had in my mind all along – the colors, placement, everything was just perfect.

The best part of working with Designs by Ahn was how flexible and responsive Victoria was. She was consultative and calm even when I requested last minute additions to the décor after I had my site visit. I was simply amazed by how everything came together (and so quickly)!

Victoria is truly a master of her craft and an incredible artist and person. All of my family and friends commented on how beautiful the wedding was and the wonderful ambiance created by all of the thoughtful details.

Her team created the most beautiful, perfect hanging floral centerpieces to emphasize the height in my tent wedding. I could not stop staring at my bouquet and found new details each time I looked at it. She also discovered these unique star lanterns which were just the right touch for the dance floor. My family was practically fighting over who would take home a set of the Moroccan lanterns on the tables, because they loved them so much. At least they all received the adorable party favors Victoria had recommended - mini succulents in personalized wedding tins.

I very much enjoyed working with Designs by Ahn and really could not have been happier about their work – I would jump at the opportunity to work with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a creative and gorgeous wedding environment.

I NEVER imagined my wedding would look as unbelievably beautiful as Victoria at Designs by Ahn made it! I loved working with Victoria, she was so pleasant and easy to work with. She was very accommodating and helpful. I never expected everything to look BETTER than I imagined but it certainly did. I could not be happier! The work that Designs by Ahn did was one of the best parts of our gorgeous wedding day!
