We absolutely loved working with Cynthia for our wedding florals! From the very beginning, she made the entire floral process so easy and enjoyable. All I sent her was our wedding colors and she came up with something even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Every detail, from the bouquets to the ceremony arrangements and reception centerpieces, was breathtaking and tied our whole day together perfectly.
She was incredibly quick and efficient with communication, always answering my questions and offering helpful suggestions along the way. I truly felt like she cared about putting together beautiful florals and went above and beyond in every aspect. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flowers, and I still look back at the photos with such happiness! She truly helped make our wedding day the best day ever.
If you’re looking for someone talented, professional, and passionate about what they do, I can’t recommend Cynthia enough! -

Stunning floral arrangements, warm professional
Cynthia was incredibly warm and professional throughout the planning and many changes of our 2020 wedding. She was so patient and helpful in guiding me through the flower and arrangement selection (I knew what colors I wanted but was otherwise clueless). She is definitely worth more than what she charges! On the day of the wedding she arrived early and had everything ready to go well in advance. She was so kind and genuinely excited for our big day - she made me feel like we had been friends a long time. Do yourself a favor and hire Designs in Bloom for your special event - you will not regret it! -

Amazing designs!!
Cynthia designed the most beautiful floral arrangements for our October wedding. I sent her plenty of inspiration photos beforehand and she exceeded all of my expectations. We had many guests comment how beautiful her work was. Thank you, Cynthia!! -

I have been a little late to the hiring florist game. However, I did get a response from couple florists and Cynthia was the only one responding quickly and having suggestions/input from the e-mail one. She did an amazing job. We were a scientist and an engineer, so I wanted my flowers in chemistry beakers. She researched them with me, suggested which to choose and had useful tips for the table number. EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the wedding complimented the flowers and everyone wanted to take some home. I did cry when I saw them, because they were everything I imagined. -

Beautiful Arrangements with a Variety of Florals within Budget
I cannot recommend Cynthia more. She is absolutely amazing. She did the flowers for my bridal shower and my wedding. Everyone has commented on how beautiful her arrangements are and also on the diverse flower and greenery choices she selects. We gave her color ideas and I shared a pinterest board with her, and she did the rest. She truly is an artist who absolutely loves her profession and is so easy to work with. -

Cynthia is an amazing artist and visionary. She took the time to learn about my vision and wishes and made them come alive! She grows a lot of her own blooms herself, which I loved because I wanted to incorporate local flowers as a part of my special day. Cynthia and her team personalized my ideas and made the most beautiful bridal bouquet and set up the reception space perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better florist for my special day. -

I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was working with Cynthia, who is such a kind, delightful person. She worked well within our budget without straying or pressuring us to go more elaborate, and her designs are beautiful. When our original plans were thwarted by COVID, she was still able to put together a beautiful bouquet for my daughter’s micro wedding, and even delivered it to the venue — even though it was some distance away. Can’t wait to work with her again next year for the rescheduled big affair! -

Cynthia did an amazing job taking my ideas and creating a beautiful bouquet with the colors I had in mind. She was super responsive to emails and was great with sticking to our budget. Due to nervousness unfortunately the groom and groomsmen forgot to put on the boutonnieres but they were beautiful too. I would recommend Cynthia and her talents 100%. -

Amazing florist!
Cynthia was so wonderful to work with on top of being amazing at what she does. Without much direction from us, just a few pictures of what we were looking for, she was able to make the arrangements exactly what we were looking for. From the bouquets to the center pieces to the ceremony designs everything she made was truly stunning! -

We worked with Cynthia at Design in Bloom after finding her at our Venue's Open House. Her work was beautiful and after speaking with her a few times we decided to hire her as our wedding florist. She sent me a proposal with examples of the types of flowers I'd have in my bouquet along with some ribbon samples that I got to choose from. When I saw my flowers on my wedding day I was so impressed. She delivered the most beautiful floral arrangements all within our budget! I'd highly recommend using Design in Bloom! -

I unfortunately did not get to meet Cynthia personally but worked with her via email for my bridal party flowers. She was responsive and super helpful the entire time. When I saw the flowers, corsages, and boutonnières I was beyond pleased! The flowers and colors were exactly as envisioned!! Loved all of her work! -

Cynthia was a dream come true for my husband and I. I had gone to 4 other florist before meeting her and they all disregarded my budget and did nothing to help me build my bouquet and 'look'. When I met Cynthia I knew within minutes that she was the one! She is so passionate about her work and is so very creative. She wasn't just trying to raise my budget but was all about giving me the most bang for my buck and helping me look outside the box. I wish I had my professional photos back already to show just how beautiful everything was! -
Devin Sent on 09/26/2018Cynthia was such a pleasure to work with, very responsive, and stuck to our budget! I brought some pictures from Pinterest and pretty much the whole rainbow of colors. She helped me narrow down some color choices and picked beautiful (but afordable!) flowers. We even were able to add in some succulents. Highly recommend!

I didn't get to meet Cynthia in person till literally 3 weeks before my wedding. We have been going back and forth via email for months and I was amazed on how she was able to figure out the kind of design I was aiming for. I had a set budget in mind and she worked with me on trying to find the best way to make the most out of it. The end result was absolutely beautiful. All of the bouquets and centerpieces and boutonnieres came out awesome! I had so many complements on the flowers! We had pomegranates for centerpieces. Not only did they looked great they tasted delicious too! Guests loved it! It was all perfect the way I wanted it to be! Cynthia takes great pride on what she does and made me feel very confident on trusting her and her team.

Meghan Sent on 08/16/2015Cynthia and her team are truly incredible. When meeting with Cynthia to design our floral plan I did not know what to expect. I did bring a few photos of what I was imagining, and as soon as I showed her and described what I wanted, she knew just what to do! She gave me ribbon samples to take home which was VERY helpful during planning. We emailed often and I would send pictures to her, to which she was always very responsive. I was pretty indecisive and changed my mind a few times on what I wanted and she made me feel confident and comfortable with her and her team. She really knows what she’s doing! Day of, I had no idea what to expect and I did not get a chance to peek at the decorations before the ceremony/reception. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. Everything was absolutely breathtaking. The aisle decor was simple and elegant. They decorated the arch that we got married under with roses, hydrangeas, and vines. It was such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Our reception space, foyer, and centerpieces were so pretty. We did different arrangements on each table (all white roses and white hydrangeas) and they were gorgeous! We got so many compliments! Everything was absolutely stunning, so much better than I could have ever imagined! -

Susan Sent on 07/29/2013Cynthia was a joy to work with. She really took the time to understand my vision and worked with me to make it something real. She has confidence in what she does. I really saw the value in what she could do and didn't even meet with other florists. We had a lot of changes and she was so flexible about them. We used fruit which can be a challenge. We had a firm budget and we had creative ideas to meet it. She even met us at IKEA for a glassware shopping trip. The flowers were more than what I imagined. -

Megan Sent on 06/02/2011Cynthia from Design in Bloom couldn't have been more perfect to work with! I'm a bride that had a specific vision for the flowers & centerpieces on my wedding day. I wanted to do something totally different and Cynthia was all aboard. Because neither her nor I have seen anything like the centerpieces I wanted, we had to work together to create exactly what we were envisioning. She double checked on everything we discussed with follow up emails and pictures attached to show me the best visual she could find for the unique centerpieces we were aiming for.
On the wedding day, I couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. She really worked hard and it definitely showed with all the flowers we had for our wedding.

Karen Sent on 05/14/2010I join the other reviewers in extolling Cynthia's talents. I spoke to four different floral designers on the phone, but after I talked to Cynthia, I didn't even arrange to meet with the others. She asked a lot of questions on the phone which told me that she really wanted to learn what I wanted. We met two or three times to go over the flowers for the wedding and she had so many WONDERFUL suggestions. My bouquet was a work of art and perfectly complemented and flattered my dress. I had part of the train removed and took her the fabric and she wrapped the bridesmaids' bouquets in the fabric. The church flowers were gorgeous, the reception flowers were beautiful--AND she worked with me to stay within my budget.
I can't say enough good things about Cynthia and her business. She's creative, tasteful, responsive (always answered my e-mails promptly), and conveys a sense that she really cares about YOU and what YOU want. Her designs were gorgeous.
