I felt like it was always about me and Azad made me feel that way . He fine tuned every aspect to make us feel important ... . He was on time had all the sound and lighting set up ahead of our schedule start time . I was so satisfied with he timeliness and response from this dj service . We gave him a top 10 list of stuff we know our friends dance to and he just turned it up by incorporating the list and other similar songs around it. My guests friends and family were all happy with the music . Finally I'd like to add that I never felt like a customer , I was always given priority in the schedule XOXOXO

He asked some very interesting questions during our initial meet & greet and also during our pre-wedding planning session. He was dressed professionally during the reception. Dj azad helped our entire reception flow smoothly. People were on the dance floor the ENTIRE TIME.

DJ Azad was a last minute decision and he was fabulous! He played all the songs we requested and made our party a huge success. My mom, who I have never seen dance before also was grooving to his tunes. Thanks!

became one of my favorites

We had a blast including the part of my family who don't normally dance. The whole team is great. azad keeps things on track and asks questions and listens . He played a great variety of hits and even stuck to the list I sent in. azad has become one of my favorite DJs!

our family only dances to a select few songs . Azad really surprized us . He played our list and then went into group activity dance . the entire guest list followed his directions. what we expected to be a dull party , became surprisingly a big dancefloor .

Best DJ you can ask for

DJ Azad has shown nothing but understanding and fantastic recommendations on how to make the night better than you had anticipated. He is outstanding in his field of work. In terms of coming early and setting up, to checking that the sound quality and lighting would be working without issue prior to the start of the event. Not only did DJ Azad play all the recommended songs that were suggested, but he also played songs that would match the mood of the event during any given moment throughout the night. I would highly recommend DJ Azad with his extensive years of experience for any future event and I would most certainly reach back out again to him for any of my or my family’s events.

We love DJ Azad

Professional, courteous, easy to work with, great music - we had a blast. We had to plan a wedding in less than 2 months. DJ Azad was the first DJ I called and was so impressed that we booked him. We are so happy we did. With DJ Azad you work with him directly and he is your DJ. He listened to all we had and the changes we had to make up until the day before. I know there are DJs around, but no one like DJ Azad. You won’t be disappointed!

My Maid of honor told me that since we all were going to be from out of town , I should make things as hassle free as possible . This is why I am so happy that my fiance (now husband) had booked djazad. Ali also recommended that use Azad for the Shadi day aswell . To my arrival into New York I had no time to run around nor deal with details . I was pleased to see that Azad was on top of things the whole time , he worked with my venue and family to keep things going good .
I reccomend Azad to any out of town bride-groom

At the end of the wedding we agreed to ask him to play again for our 1st anniversary. My husband and I would recommend Azad for any event you're having! He's a seasoned pro., easy to work with, and a nice, fun guy.

Our event was at Woodbury Country Club . and was amazing!! Azad was so helpful and easy to reach throughout all of the planning. There has never been a more fun wedding ! We had friends that have gone to so many wedding party’s over the last 10+ years that said that this was by far the best wedding they have ever been to. We have you to thank for that DJAzad !

This was a Tuesday wedding , we did not have much time to prep , A family member was only available on these dates so we were limited . I contacted Azad after he had done my sweet 16 many years ago . Our wedding was thought to be low key. dj Azad really made the night happen by giving us great music at every juncture... barraht, ceremony , and evening reception. :) I am happy to reccomend this guy again .

we use this DJ service for our wedding day I wanted to comment that azad he did a fantastic job he's fabulous and entertaining. with me and my husband's busy work schedule as doctors we had no time to really plan out a lot of the wedding .what made our wedding day successful was at DJ's azad was on top of everything that he needed to be, he constantly reminded us and kept in touch with us on what things we need to be doing by email and phone asking questions that I did not even consider thinking about for the planning phase of the wedding we use azad for the pre wedding sangeet party and then the wedding ceremony itself we were unable to book him for the wedding reception because he was already booked so my recommendation to everyone is it definitely use the service but to go and reserve your day early

he treated us so well

Every time we spoke he carried himself with energy, knowledge and experience. When we met in person for the first time (which was the day of the reception) he carried the same energy and it felt as if we had known each other for years. My brother gave Azad a lot of specific instructions , and he followed them all.

Was a pleasure working with them! They were very professional, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Azad had wonderful ideas and truly made the process easy and enjoyable. Our wedding was a bit hit because of them! The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests could not stop raving about the music! Would highly recommend them as dj or even event planner. if you book them just remember to bring your dancing shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, We are sitting here at the airport thinking of all the great wedding fun that just happened . we couldn't be more pleased with our vendors that I hand selected.
I received a p[hone call from my best friend who is still raving about the great Music and atmosphere that the DJ and Lighting did.
Azad went above and beyond to accomodate some of my requests and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for fantastic entertainer

Because of my Puerto Rican background, we had a mix of music. We hired DJ Azad, who had fabulous reviews online. He is based in Long Island. DJ Azad was also so helpful to me during my planning process. He made so many wonderful suggestions as to the ceremony itself, scheduling, etc. We also went through him for the gobo lights, dhol player, and even an Indian wedding singer who was phenomenal. DJ Azad arrived super early to set up. He is very professional, kind, responsible, dependable, and just a wonderful soul. We had touches during the ceremony I had never seen elsewhere -- and I must say, DJ Azad made the suggestions. I must have kept him on the phone for hours at a time during the planning process, and he was just always eager to help. He provided wireless microphones, intelligent lighting, gobo lights (design and setup), and pictures are the evidence: NOT ONE SOUL SITTING DOWN, everyone dancing and having such a good time: from the 80-year-old grandmothers, to the kids. I have never seen my own mother dance so much.

We were able to combine an Indian wedding singer, a Cuban trio, and traditional banghra/bollywood music with Spanish Salsa and american music to create a memorable party. The Indian families were dancing salsa, and the non-Indian families were dancing banghra!! It was a hilarious and fun-filled celebration!!

wonderfull experience dealing with Azad . He took note of the details of both our cultures . He was helpfull in guiding us to plan the reception . the weddings itself were a breeze because Azad provided us 2 setups one for each ceremony on the same day . The reception was the next day and it was done with style and elegant announcements just as we wanted. What more could we ask for !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was attentive and helpful before the day. Added some nice touches the day of that I wasn\'t expecting and played a great set of music keeping everyone dancing. A list of our friends and family have said it was one of the best weddings they\'ve attended and I love the fact that we were able to contact our DJ directly without issue. we never had a doubt that the entire evening would play out just as we had discussed- we are incredibly satisfied and grateful to have had dj AZAD as such a critical part of our wedding. \r\nEven as a one man show he took a lot of stress out of the planning. this dj service came to us as a refernce from my brother . My brother is very hard to please but was impressed by dj Azad from his event 2 years ago . So we used him for my wedding . Going through the process first hand I have seen the dedication and expertise that azad offers to the conversation . He is not cheap , nor is he trying to make a quick buck . I too am very much impressed with how DJ Azad handled 600 on the dancefloor

I used DJ Azad for my 10th wedding anniversary. We gave him a diverse list of song selection. He found each one of them, even some really old songs, that are hard to find on iTunes and other media. DJ Azad also was very energetic and kept the crowd entertained all night. I used him again recently for a minor song mesh project, once again I found him to be very professional and he delivered in a very timely manner. I highly recommend him and would use him for any events that I have in the future.

This was a great experience for our family . we uysed the DJ Azad company and were thorougly impressed . Azad reccomended a custom pckage for the wedding . This is forr the ceremoney then prep hour , then the reception itself. Azad worked along as the DJ and as the Announcer.
there were so many things that he had to tell out lousd to the guests such as what room to go to , which side is dinner and to introduce all the family . Thee events of the day were continuous and coordination was good . Azad works hard to make sure the hotel and buffet and my family were al on the same page and ready .
I am very happy with this company . dj azad is not the cheapest of the pack , but he is well worth it .

I worked with Azad the whole time . I called him and spoke directly with him and was never lost in the shuffle of secretaries or messages . He assured us from the beginning that he would provide us everything that my family was asking for . He was really easy going and fun. My family is not the dancing type , but we still ended up having a great time . Azad interacted and ran several activities which were a big bonus. I am very satisfied

Azad and his team were incredibly responsive, flexible and professional throughout our entire multi day,multi cultural wedding . We worked with Azad leading up to the wedding, as a DJ and he was FANTASTIC. Kept the dance floor crowded the entire time and was incredibly receptive to what our guests wanted to hear. We provided a list of a few songs we wanted to hear from various genres , then he took over and did a great job gauging our tastes from that list.
As in a multi ceremony and 2 weeks of party fun , we knew to carefully plan the reception . But, We did not provide an agenda or timeline for the other events . This is where Azad as a master of his art SHINES. He arrived , early and met with our parents and family members and coordinators involved. He reassured them that he knew what was going to happen, and how it would flow. azad even took their ON THE SPOT input . Our families were truely satisfied with Azads personality. plus he delivered.
He really set the tone for a great party. I saw Azad coordinating with my other vendors who all approached him , as he took charge .
I am pleased to refer out this DJ to anyone.

Azad helpful and has a good attitude. he put on a one man show at our reception . I felt like he had it under control. Azad tool request and accommodated our requirements. Dj Azad performed my daughter’s bridal shower & wedding. He was a professional & the guests had a wonderful time. We had numerous children in attendance who were also kept entertained. He came highly recommended from performing at my friend’s daughter’s sweet 16 party.

We used DJ Azad for the barat arrival and ceremony . He was very easy going and accommodating . We booked him on short notice because our DJ for the reception found a higher paying event and canceled us for the wedding ceremony . As it turns out, we had 3 DJs at my wedding . One at the sangeet , second was Azad at the barat. and third at the reception . The reception DJ had sent some one else, with out asking us , to the sangeet and I am writing this review after seeing all three perform. Now for the review: DJ Azad put on a really good show . He performs with great energy and talent . we had so much fun dancing to each and every hit song he played. Azad made everyone participate and get involved. Lastly , the barat was late and Azad did not hassle us with any extra charges.
I am so happy to use and recommend DJ azad's services

DJ Azad was the best choice anyone could made. He is good with responding on time. He incuded bridal henna design ,Limo, photo, video while he dj'd the entire wedding. He has a good knowledge of the music and knew what to play without me having to tell him. every one enjoyed....

DJ azad pleased us all with great communication . my husband is from new york and I am in the UK. we planned this wedding over many months . it was probable more involved than the usual wedding because of our schedules. Azad drove to husbands house in 1 hour away just to meet with his parents and skype with me . \r\n All the attention to planning our big day was taken with a smile. I know i overwhelmed my then Fiance but not Azad, he made me feel comforted ..... Our wedding and then reception was handled with enthusiasm and DJ Azad as a team player.

I am very happy to recommend Azad as a great vendor . I used his company for my wedding and my brides maids are still asking me for his phone # for their upcoming events. Azad provided us a full service package , from consultation to music and custom lighting. He does a great job at getting input from my guests and family , making sure they are all involved and that my day was smooth. GOOD JOB AZAD !

DJ Azad for our traditional wedding, and I can't say enough about how incredible he was! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable. Not only did he keep the energy high, he also didn’t hesitate to speak with both our parents so everyone could be comfortable before the ceremony when the rain started to pour. It was such a thoughtful, professional gesture that he had a plan to offer sound in our plan B secondary location

We had a quick phone call to check in roughly a week before, but that was all that we had to do.
Then, DJ Azad showed up and killed it! He accommodated all of our requests (music, toasts, entrances, etc.), my guests loved it . my family is so pleased .

I called Dj AZAD about a week before the wedding because it was a last minute event . I found him to be honest and professional . Pricing was about the same range as others . I booked him because I felt that he could handle the details on such short notice reception .
THEN, what I received was all that and more . On the day of the reception , He put on a great show. Azad was friendly with everyone that interacted with him . I booked him for 7:30 pm , and Azad showed up at 6:15. We wanted to do a prayer early and My uncle told him to hurry up and get a microphone on by 6:30. Azad graciously told him " Not a problem ". These are little things to note but they count a lot . The music was the best mix anyone can ask for . In fact my brother was so impressed that he booked him , on the spot , for his daughters sweet 16, because of the flow of music and interaction with the guests . .

He really delivered

I was hesitant about getting a dj from so far away . I chose all vendors that were local except for DJ. He turned out to be the most reliable . very responsive and always on top of things . I had no issues with music and wall lighting by him . I would use them again

Fantstic performance is an understatement. . DJ Azad went above and beyond to help make our wedding perfect. he is calm an collective and helpful in planning. Music, was played well , Azad took request and accomodated our must play list aswell as our do not play list. Our guests were having a fun time from the start. as for announcements, Azad msade sure evryone was involved and aware of what was going on .

We chose DJ Azad for our wedding because we needed a DJ that would be able to play Indian music as well as American music. DJ Azad was courteous, friendly, and professional from the very beginning. He really takes the time to research your venue and understand what you're looking for. On the day of the wedding, he DELIVERED. He had everyone dancing and there wasn't a song that wasn't good. A lot of my guests said they "shazamed" a lot of his music because they liked it so much. He also made all the announcements for our wedding such as first dance, speeches, etc and everything was smooth and perfect. He is really timely and his setup is clean and beautiful. We also took advantage of intelligent lighting, uplighting, and gobo lights, which was really a nice touch on the day of the wedding. His services are also very affordable. I'm so happy that we chose DJ Azad. He really took some of the stress out of the day because the DJ is so important. I would definitely recommend!

Our DJ for our wedding reception was DJ Azad who was spectacular. He was open to having music sent to him so he could incorporate special songs into the evening. Most importanty he kept everyone dancing all night long. Another BIG advantage we saw was Azad is : easygoing and flexible . friendly during last minute hectic changes.- Harp and I are so glad we choose vendors that are experienced in the business.

DJ Azad and DJ Bobby were fantastic. We had a traditional Indian wedding and they covered everything from the entrance of the baraat (groom's family) to the endof the reception. They cordinated well with our other music vendor and entertainment providers throughout the day. DJ Bobby MC'd the reception with charisma and finesse bringing the guests into the event throughout the night.
