  I felt like a whimsical fairy

  Audra and her team are truly amazing at what they do! I had known that I wanted to hire Desert Bridal, because I had seen two of my friends hire them for their weddings and I had taken part in their services as a bridesmaid. I have never felt as beautiful as I have on my wedding day. I told Audra that I wanted to look like myself but refined and she delivered that and beyond! My makeup was stunning and my hair was gorgeous, she knocked it out of the park! Audra's assistant, Kenzie, was also so wonderful and took her time with my girls and they looked beautiful. When hiring these ladies for your special day, you not only are hiring the best hair and makeup professionals, you are also getting to hang out and relax and it feels like you are just with your friends.

  Beautiful, flawless, long lasting looks

  Audra and her team of makeup and hair artists did such a beautiful job for mine and my large bridal parties hair and makeup. Total 15 of us got our hair and makeup done and each of the stylists took their time and had plenty of time to finish! I have never been a part of a wedding where everyone’s hair and makeup looked flawless, not to mention starting the day at 6 am with everyone still looking stunning at 11 pm. Audra was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and was so easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this team for a seamless, beautiful hair and makeup experience!   Great experience

  Communication with Audra made booking a smooth process, and Jasmine did a great job with makeup for my bridal party and was super kind to work with! She made sure to take notes during the trial of what we did so we could perfect a natural look on the big day.

  Looked like me but WAY BETTER

  I wanted to look and feel like a princess and this team did not disappoint! A team of 5 arrived on time to make sure 10 of us all looked our best on my wedding day. I had some extensions I wanted put in and styled, wasn't a problem for Amanda at all! I missed my trial appointment and the owner was very gracious and understanding. I wasn't emotional about my wedding until I saw how incredible I looked after hair and makeup. The moms, all my bridal party got the royal treatment. This plus size old woman looked like a Disney princess bride!!!! HIRE THEM NOW. DO IT.

  So many compliments

  Audra was amazing! When we did the bridal trial I immediately fell in love with the way my make up looked. It was full coverage but did not feel heavy at all. I received so many compliments. At the end of the night with dancing and running around my make up still looked flawless. I did not want to wash it off at the end of the night. She was very punctual and we did not feel rushed. Thank you so much Audra for making my special day perfect. I would recommend her for any special events.

  Audra fit me in last minute to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and I was seriously blown away! The airbrush makeup is 10000% worth the upgrade!

  Amazing, perfect, beautiful

  This team did such an amazing job on our hair and makeup! I was nervous about everyone’s looks holding up from 9am when we started getting ready until after the wedding ceremony at 5 and everyone looked perfect all day! Audra is fantastic and easy to talk with to answer all questions I had, and Loyss did such a great job working with me to tweak things with my bridal look from the trial to the wedding day, and Kenzie did great helping Audra get my girls ready. They were fast, efficient, and everyone looked amazing!

  Ultra professional and amazingly talented

  If you’re looking for someone who take your inspiration photos and bring them to life then you’ve found her. I was blown away with how precise my makeup was to the look I wanted, I didn’t even think that possible because the photo I gave Audra had been edited, but my gosh she did incredible! On the day of my wedding Audra and her team worked on 6 bridesmaids, two moms, and myself and was able to make everyone look absolutely amazing. Everyone was so pleased with their hair and makeup. She went above and beyond what I had even imagined.

  Hair&makeup team

  We absolutely loved our experience with Audra and her team! Booking was super easy and honestly the pricing was really great compared to the market! All the ladies made my wedding day a breeze. They were fun and allowed my girls to feel comfortable giving any feedback (which is not always the case!) We would definitely recommend Desert Bridal!

  Experienced, Friendly, Efficient

  Desert Bridal Company was one of the smoothest running parts of my wedding day. Audra and her team were on time, set up quickly, and worked with each other to accomplish H&MU for my bridal party of 6, my mom, and myself. We had many different skin tones and each of us felt confident with our finished looks!
  My bridal H&MU trial went smoothly as well. Desert Bridal spent the time to make sure I liked every shade of makeup for my special day. Their hair stylist is licensed and was able to trim my hair to achieve my desired wedding day look!
  Can't recommend these ladies enough!

  Awful communication

  Details below, but communications with the owner were awful.
  
  My assigned hair & makeup artist for my wedding trial and wedding day was Whitney and she was AMAZING! We absolutely loved her and her work was spectacular.
  
  The struggle I had with this company was with the business owner, Audra. She communicated very very quickly when I first inquired and she sent me my contract to sign immediately. After my deposit was paid, the communication was awful. I reached out to her via email regarding booking my trial for about a week straight with no response, and when I finally heard back she told me she would reach out to schedule my trial once it was closer (this was 8 weeks before the allotted trial window started which was fine). But I literally had to reach out again within the 3 months before my wedding to try and book my trial around all of the other vendor appointments I had going on. The day after my trial I emailed Audra photos of wear, what I wanted to change, and questions like - is skin prep included, do I get a touch up kit, etc. and NEVER got a response. I had to text my artist Whitney the week before my wedding to ask if I could buy my own setting spray because I was worried about the wear time on trial day. And Whitney promptly responded and helped me. Aside from that, I got a text ON my wedding day from Audra to make my final payment before the artist left otherwise I was getting charged late fees. Audra made me feel like a literal number and dollar sign. She’s lucky Whitney was so kind otherwise I definitely would’ve backed out of that contract due to all of the red flags and lack of communication. And she didn’t even sign/complete my contract until 11pm the night before my wedding. So honestly you may get a good experience if Audra herself is the artist, but if you’re a low budget bride scheduling the minimum number of services, be prepared to be ignored.

  Hey Tia, we are so very sorry to hear this was your experience with us, and that we fell short in communication. I did express to you we did have a flaw in communications with receiving your emails in scheduling due to the thread that it was being sent through, and we take accountability for that fully and sincerely apologize. I made sure after your trial with Whitney, to send over your feedback to her immediately and I'm happy she was able to help guide you in the questions you had. Contract was not completed until night before as there was changes that were made with your getting ready location and invoice, and we do send out reminder texts to all of our brides night before or day of to ensure things are completed so my assistants do not have to worry about reminding our brides about payment. Whitney had told us that your morning went smooth day of, you were all happy, and looked beautiful. We are SO happy to hear that and hope your wedding day was everything you dreamed of. We appreciate your feedback and experience and will be sure to do everything we can to learn from this and be better as a business with communications moving forward.
