Catherine in Framingham was an amazing consultant to work with. She made the process fun and simple, as it should be. I had some not-so-great experiences at other jewelers that weekend, but Descenza took all that stress away! She worked with us from out of state to choose a beautiful diamond and setting. My husband and I got our wedding bands from DeScenza in Peabody MA. They were so easy to work with! We had such a great experience from the moment we walked into the store. They helped us find our perfect rings. I also love that I can go in and get my rings cleaned. We definitely will be using DeScenza for all our future jewelry needs! -

My husband loved working with the Descenza team in Framingham. He loved the attention to detail and care the jewelers put into their work! My custom-made solitaire engagement ring is beautiful, along with my 2 wedding bands. They are very accommodating and kind! -

The saleswoman Asia was very nice and was able to find a colorful stone that met our criteria, after 2 other stores weren't able to. Our engagement ring price was under the estimated quote. A couple weeks after we ordered my wedding band Asia called me to tell me that it was tax free weekend and asked if I wanted to pay for the ring in full to save on tax. -

My husband chose to buy my engagement ring at DeScenza Diamonds in Peabody, MA based on reviews from friends. He spent a lot of time picking out the perfect setting and diamond. Chris was very patient and helpful. DeScenza’s was able to resize my ring, making it a full size smaller, without compromising the ring or removing any diamonds. My ring is perfect and exactly what I would have picked for myself. Because my husband had such a great experience at DeScenza Diamonds, we chose to buy our wedding bands there. Because my husband had purchased my engagement ring, we were able to get 10% off of our wedding bands. DeScenza’s has beautiful jewelry and an amazing selection. Michelle helped us to pick out wedding bands, and my wedding band matches my engagement ring perfectly. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend DeScenza Diamonds to anyone. -

Gail worked with my fiance to design the most beautiful (and perfect) engagement ring, so we contacted her immediately after to help us with the wedding bands. Gail was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful. The stores are lovely if you can stop in and browse around and the customer service was excellent. -

Great place to shop for wedding/engagement rings! All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the store isn't too intimidating (I mean, it is a high-end jewelry store downtown). Very satisfied with my engagement rings and both our wedding bands. -

Mike was a tremendous amount of help with choosing our wedding bands. He was patient, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We purchased our wedding bands at Descenza. We had shopped at a few other shops in the Jeweler's buildings in Boston (including where we purchased the engagement ring), but Descenza had the best ring and it was a reasonable price. The woman who helped us was quite knowledgeable and made it a quick and smooth process. The overall service was exceptional. I even paid a little less than what I was quoted when I came to pick up the ring that was sent out to be sized as the price (of gold) had dropped $40. -

Francesca at the Framingham store is an absolutely pleasure to work with! She has helped us tremendously through the wedding band processes as well as all of our other jewelry buying adventures within the last year and a half. Descenza's is fantastic! They have at least 4 locations and can really work with any budget. Don't judge by their website - it needs a little makeover, but their in-store selection is awesome. They helped my husband create a custom engagement ring for me before he proposed and then when we picked out our wedding banks Mike Molloy in Higham helped me create something amazing to match it. Definitely go check them out! -

The Framingham store has outstanding quality, selection and professionals who always help us - wedding rings, gifts for wedding party, and just ongoing special gifts. Check them out. There are two brothers and the manager who are really nice, very helpful and experts in jewlry. It's an uplifting experience to go in the store and know you are getting the best products possible. their prices are competitive. They made a huge difference in the wedding ring selection process for the bride and groom. -

My now husband met with Paul not knowing anything about diamonds. Paul educated him on the diamond process and he got me the PERFECT egagement ring. I could not have done better myself! I receive compliments all the time.
When it came time for the wedding bands, I was blown away with how professional and accomodating they made the process. From picking it out to picking it up. We could not have asked for more.

We bought our wedding bands at Descenza in Framingham after looking at about 5 other jewelers and being completely disappointed. My husband bought my engagement ring at the same store and loved it there and we went in 2 times to look at wedding bands before we made any decisions; we never felt pressured, everything was always fully explained, and everyone was very helpful. We went to the Hingham location to get our wedding bands and could not have been happier. Not surprisingly, we left things til the last moment but Karen managed to move heaven and earth and get us our bands in time for the wedding. The amazing speed with which she was able to get our rings should not, however, overshadow how stunning they were. My husband and I have never been "ring" people - our college rings sit untouched in drawers. But our wedding bands are so beautiful we can't stop looking at them! Karen knew just what we wanted, managed to get them in record time, and the price was fabulous. After this amazing experience, now we only wish we'd gotten the engagement ring there!! -

We bought our bands from Descenza in Hingham and I was thrilled with their selection, service and price. We worked with Brett who sepnt time with us and showed us a variety of bands that would work with my setting. In addition, he gave us several options for different metals and priced my ring out with different amounts of diamond 7, 9, and 11. He also introduced us to a new metal called Paladium which we ended up purchasing for my husbands band. This store is truly a reflection of a family owned/operated business. -

My engagement ring was custom made by a jeweler in NY so we wanted to try to find a band that matched my ring in a store. The saleperson at Descenza accepted the challenge and was so helpful in finding the perfect band for me as well as my husband. The day we went shopping we hadn't planned on getting anything but we were so satisfied with our rings that we bought them right there! Our engraving was also done there and is perfect! -

My mother's engagement ring broke during her honeymoon (37 years ago) and her insurance company recommended that she get her replacement at Descenza Diamonds in Boston. For graduation from college my father bought each of his daughters a diamond pendant from Descenza Diamonds. It was only natural that when it came time to find "the ring" for my engagement, that we contacted Paul McIsaac at Descenza. He carries Scott Kay pieces as well as other designer pieces and his prices are well below retail. Our particular setting was over $1000 less at Descenza than it was at a local DC jeweler. He offered us valuable opinions on what stones would be our best value. We returned to Descenza to choose our wedding bands. Although Paul is not always available, he is very responsive and always returns phone calls within a day. We were in a rush when we ordered our wedding bands and he ensured prompt arrival. Both my new husband and I are very pleased with the quality of service and the products we have recieved from Descenza. For us it is a family tradition. -

I LOVE Descenza. My grandfather passed away when I was younger. He lived in downtown Boston, and we used to spend out summers there with him. One of my favorite memories was always when we took trips to Descenza. He got all of his girls jewelry from there, so it held a very special place in my heart. Being that I lived in the South, my now husband did not know what Descenza was, but knew how sentimental it was to me, and that when we were someday engaged, I'd love for my ring to come from there. He traveled secretly from Texas to Boston to get my ring. Descenza worked with him over the phone and via email, and made the whole process very easy for him. He told me how wonderful the staff was to work with, and was very impressed by the amazing quality at such a reasonable price (I, of course, knew that of Descenza)! We are now married, and will soon travel back to Boston to get another diamond band :) We will forever be Descenza customers, no matter how far we have to travel! -

We got my engagement ring and both our wedding bands at DeScenza. From the very beginning they were helpful with educating us about diamonds and helping me find the perfect band for my engagement ring. I found one that I absolutely fell in love with and hadn't seen anywhere else. After I left, our salesperson called my husband to let him know that he didn't want to say this in front of me, but that band has been known to have issues with keeping the diamond intact. Since I loved it so much though, they would make it for me themselves. They also made my wedding band so it matched the engagement ring perfectly.
Every time I go there, everyone is nothing but pleasant and always offer great customer support. -

Two weeks before Thanksgiving I bent the band of my engagement ring on both sides (cue an increase in my stress level and some tears). I brought the ring into DeScenza and a friendly member of the staff examined the ring, gave me a preliminary assessment of damage and then brought the ring to the jewelry repair department for a prompt estimate. After that the staff member sent me on my way with a smile and reassurance that they would do everything that was possible to fix my ring. The ring was done in less than 5 business days (estimated at 10 days). When I went to pick up my ring I was nervous, I wasn't sure to what extent the band could be bent back in place and how the repair would impact the original shape of the ring.
Well, when I opened the ring box, I was almost brought to tears. My perfect and beautiful engagement ring looked spectacular! The shape and sparkle were just as beautiful as the day my fiance got down on one knee. The attention, care, and craftsmanship that was given to my ring was undeniable. In my opinion the jewelry repair person went above and beyond to not just repair my ring, but buff it, clean it, and make it look like a piece of art. I've had multiple incredible experiences with the DeScenza location in Hingham, this was my first time at the Boston location. If you are looking for an engagement ring or need a ring repaired, both of these locations are staffed by caring professionals. -

The only 2 negative comments: 1. the attitude of one girl working there. She was quite rude to the point that I was ready to leave. She did not know the value of a paying customer and someone who is selecting an incription on a wedding ring wants it to come out just right.
2. - They didn't properly size one ring and then told me that it was my finger. They told me to come back in another day and see if it fit better. They finally siad they would fix it. I came back 3 days later and they had not done anything - it still did not fit on my finger. They agreed to do it and apologized. The same girl who was rude about the engraving was the one who told me the ring needed to be that tight, it literally would not fit over my knuckle without major pain.
The others in the shop were great and the price was competitive. -

My fiance worked with the Descenza's in Hingham for my engagement ring and raved about their customer service. We ended up purchasing both of our wedding bands at the Natick location. They were great to work with and we were really happy with the price. Although, it took longer than I expected to get price quotes. Other than that, everything was great. -

I had gone to the DeScenza's near my fiancés house to have his great grandmother's ring sized initially and when we went to pick it up and I tried it on, it nearly fell off my finger. I'm not sure if the man sizing it wrote down the wrong size, or if it was done incorrectly, but I couldn't even wear it. I had taken it back to the store in Hingham since it was closer to my house at the time. I explained the situation to the woman and although she was not the friendliest person she was willing to speak with the manager. The manager agreed that they would resize and polish it for no charge. Only a couple days later I picked it up and it was perfect. They did a wonderful job polishing it and I appreciate how they handled my situation which is why I gave the the score I did. I would recommend this store, just watch what size they write down on the envelope. -

Wrecked a watch repair, ruined a watch
I needed a new band for my nicest watch, the first watch I bought for myself not long after graduating college. They asked it I wanted the battery changed? I said yes. In over thirty years of owning this watch, I have never had to specify that the watch should have the waterproofing replaced, NEVER. Most jewelers are intelligent enough to realize that when you buy a waterproof watch, that you buy it for a reason. Yes, I went swimming with the watch, as I had for over thirty years, and it was ruined. They blamed me, and told me they were doing me a favor by fixing it for $400. Did they use authentic parts? They wouldn't even tell me. What really annoys me is that they refuse to believe that they can make mistakes. -

I’ve dealt with such nonsense from them. Completely ineffective over the phone (check out at Yelp reviews), and I’ve always had to be the one to call on any progress after radio silence for weeks. To add insult to injury, my engagement ring is missing a diamond before I even get married, and they could care less about fixing it.
The real kicker: it was just checked by DeScenzas, not more than two weeks ago! I’m not even wearing it. When your co-workers notice a diamond is missing in your fairly young engagement ring, it’s an embarrassment to you, and it’s an embarrassment to the schmuck who fell for buying it. Including the bands, we’ve sunk $5,700 into DeScenzas as a couple. My fiancé purchased the engagement ring in Boston, but the wedding bands are now in Framingham, and I’ve had terrible experiences at each store.
For my personal favorite, after my diamond disappeared, I called the Framingham location at 5:30 knowing they close at 6, asking if I should stay in traffic if I knew I would be a couple minutes past 6…Cathy from Framingham said “that’s fine.” I arrived at 6:10, and they refused to help me even after I showed them my engagement ring!! I made it clear that I was told it would be ok to be a few minutes late, and I received one of those “sorry” responses where you know the person thinks it’s your fault. Which it 100% would be if I hadn’t called, but that was the exact reason I had! I sat in traffic for an hour each way for nothing. And I have just 1 month until my wedding... which they also know and are unsympathetic to getting it done any faster.
This is supposed to be one of the most exciting parts about getting married, and it has been nothing but a headache mixed with frustration and disappointment.

Really bad experience with DeScenzas in Framingham. We purchased all weddings rings there. Years later, went back to have rings re-sized. Charged $220 to re-size rings. They made them All Too Big! Wanted an additional $75 to fix the sizing of 2 rings. Bad, unprofessional, cheap customer service. -
