Steve is your guy!!!

We had the BEST time with Steve as our DJ!!!!

We hosted a birthday extravaganza for my Mom, at Oakbrook Drury Lane, in the Crystal Room, and about 135 people attended!

From the very beginning, Steve was full of energy...he was so much fun, and he completely brought the party to life! He has the kind of personality that lights up a room...so lively and kind and he was 100% in sync with everything that we were doing!

Steve worked with us every step of the way! He was patient, upbeat, and honestly just a joy to have there! He kept the guests engaged, got people dancing, and was clearly loving what he does, and it showed in every move that he made!

And here's something I really appreciated... he actually told me, "If anyone gives you trouble, I'll take care of it!" Now THAT'S a DJ who's got your back!!! He was supportive, polite, and just the perfect presence throughout the event!

He brought in extra lighting to really make the room sparkle, and he gave me a hands-free microphone which was a lifesaver since I was giving the welcome speech and needed my hands free to hold onto the papers that I was reading from!

His assistant was also very sweet, and she was right there to help Steve from the beginning to the end of the evening!

We're so grateful to have had Steve as part of my Mom's birthday celebration and it wouldn't have been the same without him! I HIGHLY recommend Steve for your next event!

After all, music is EVERYTHING at your party! You need someone who's a pro... someone who can keep the energy going... someone who has a personality and who speaks well...someone who can make your event come alive!!! You need STEVE!!!

He'll give you confidence and one less BIG thing to worry about! And he is just a "hell of a...." nice guy!!!

A Wonderful Wedding and Plenty of Good Music

Johnny was amazing to work with! He was very accommodating to our last minute changes and played a wonderful variety of music. Everyone at the wedding complimented us on the variety of tunes they heard. :) We would highly recommend Dependable Wedding DJs for any event.

Awesome DJ!

DJ Steven was fantastic! We hired him for our backyard wedding and he had twp speaker set ups for different areas. He did a great job with our bridal party introductions and giving our girst info and direction. He had our guests and I dancing all night. The music was perfect and fun. Our dance floor was full of energy and he kept it going until midnight. You know our DJ is better than good when our guests ask for his contact info. I would hire DJ Steven again in a heartbeat.

Awesome DJ !!

Steven was fantastic! Our guests had an incredible time, and I was SO sad when the party had to come to an end. He was wonderful to work with and the online portal made it easy to customize our song requests. During the reception, he was so flexible with speeches, first dances, and doing a photo frenzy with our photographer. We loved having the uplights, too. We are so thankful we had Steven to keep our party dancing all night!

Party Was Hoppin!

Steven put together a playlist that matched what we wanted. Not joking, there was a moment during the wedding when 95% of the wedding was on the floor. He killed it.

Excellent all around!

Best Music We Could Ask For!

Johnny was amazing for our wedding! The online portal allowed us to choose a lot of our own music which we really appreciated. For the reception music that Johnny picked himself, everyone loved it. We've had several guests say it was the best wedding music they ever experienced. Couldn't recommend them more!

Hire Johnny!

Johnny did an excellent job, very flexible and was very open to last minute changes at the reception. My photographer/videographer even asked me where I found him bec they said they have been working for more than 30 years and he is the best thus far based on their experience, they even asked his info! That's how good he is! Everybody had fun and was up dancing all night! My husband and I could not even sit for a minute or 2 bec everyone is having a great time and music/DJ plays an important role on how your night goes. I highly recommend him if you want to have a fun night!

Awesome DJ!

Everything DJ related was a breeze! DJ Steven was great, super flexible and had my guests dancing all night. We met and chatted about what we wanted and what songs we had to pick to send to him before the wedding. We also had the photobooth which was so much fun for ALL our guests, young and old. We even realized at the last minute we didn't have uplighting and Steven was on it and said no problem! All our guests had a blast at our wedding and all music genres/requests were accommodated! Would definitely recommend DJ Steven for your wedding, if you want to have one less vendor to worry about!

Amazing and very professional!

From the beginning DJ Johnny was very quick to respond to my questions and easy to work with. Even though our wedding was postponed from March 21,2020 to October 23, 2020 due to Covid, he made the switch very easily. The online portal was so easy to use as my fiancé and I picked many of our songs! Although our guest list was cut in half, everyone had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend DJ Johnny to anyone as he made the night run smoothly! Thank you so much for the best night ever!! 😊

Amazing and perfect experience!

Had a Blast!

I was worried our dj might leave people sitting in their seats but that was not the case! Our DJ kept everyone on the dance floor and having a good time. He also listened to what we said our style was and played the perfect songs and just the right time of the reception.

Amazing music

So i was super picky about my music for my wedding on 8/8/2020. I did not want ANY old people music and my wish was granted. johnny was my DJ and he was super kind and professional with helping me with the song lists. The online portal is awesome! I was happy with everything that turned out! We also had photobooth and the gentleman who helped was absolutely awesome and fun! I was extremely satisfied with the music and the entertainment, especially for the price!! I am thankful for Johnny and this company

Dependable Wedding DJs were great

My wife and I hired Steven from Dependable Wedding DJs to be our DJ and he did a terrific job. Leading up to the event, he was very easy to work with, responding quickly to either a text or phone call. He is warm and friendly and most importantly, did a great job as the DJ/MC. People danced the night away, and many of our guests commented to us on how great the music was. Would definitely recommend!

Made everything run smoothly!

Johnny was nice and easy to work with. Our ceremony setup location was not ideal, but he worked with it and nailed the musical transitions. He also provided the announcements that were needed to direct our guests and kept the dance floor going, too! Several guests commented that we had a great DJ, and we agree!

DJ service and photobooth

At this current point I have been creating our perfect play list for our special day with this company, they have a very user friendly website where you can choose all your songs, a do not play list, a play list during dinner/cocktails, a play list for dancing and even an additional section for songs they do not have. They have separate sections to plan out your ceremony and reception music in such an easy matter. Also the DJ that I have been working with has been fantastic and easy to get a hold of and is very responsive. I am also so excited that this company does a photobooth as well. All weddings I have gone to with photobooths are always so much fun and a great way to look back at the night.

Danced all night!

I was recommended Dependable DJs by my now sister-in-law, and she was so right!
Johnny did a great job, helped us move the night along from speeches, cake and tosses; it was so perfect. He kept everyone on the dance floor and we asked him for a few special announcements and he had no problem making them for us. He was super flexible and accommodating to us and managed to keep the party going all night!

Hire Steven from Dependable Wedding DJs

Steven was an amazing, professional and attentive DJ. He really made my husband and I be the ones to make the decisions at our wedding - and for those just in the planning stages, you know how important that feeling is!

The planning was a breeze, but perhaps best of all was the flexibility and responsiveness on the day of our wedding. The bridal party was late to the reception (our fault, lots of fun on the party bus), and Steven cautioned against doing a DJ-coordinated event we planned due to time constraints. The only people who knew this was skipped were me, my husband and Steven. Everything went so seamlessly.

I had guests who wanted to perform a surprise song as their wedding gift to use. Steven cleared this with my Maid of Honor before moving forward on it so it could remain a surprise but one my husband and I would be happy with.

And at our request, Steven filtered song requests based on the music we said we did and did not want to hear at the wedding. And if your OK with playing whatever your guests want - he'll do that too! I just appreciated having him make decisions based on numerous conversations we had prior to the wedding.

In the father of the bride speech, my dad had Steven walk around the reception hall with a blown up picture he made that related to his story. Steven glady walked from table to table with this picture while my dad continued to speak. This was not something my dad arranged before the day of the wedding, which demonstrates Steven's ability to adjust his plans on a moment's notice.

And speaking of quick thinking, Steven broke out the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hotdog Dance song as I ate my late-night snack of hotdogs on the dance floor. It was hilarious. He did this because he listened to all the speeches talk about how much I love hotdogs. He pays attention and makes the night amazing based on YOUR style.

And finally, we had a blast hanging out with him after the reception, eating hotdogs and talking about how great the night was. It was an amazing day, and Steven played a major role in making it everything we wanted.

Absolutely one of my best vendors! First they are very affordable! And you might be worried, "you get what you pay for" but this is definitely not the case with Dependable Wedding DJs! They were a great price and provided amazing service both leading up to and on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Johnny enough. He was so fun to work with from our first meeting and made our reception an absolute blast. The dance floor was full all night!

Amazing DJ

Amazing job!

We hired Dependable Wedding DJs and were very impressed. Johnny was the one who met with us and DJ'ed our wedding, and he was great - super responsive, incredibly helpful, and very fun. Outside of a few must-plays, neither my husband nor I were very picky about the music for the reception, but Johnny had no problem getting everyone on the dancefloor and having a good time. Highlight of the Reception

My husband and I didn't have a huge budget for our DJ because we didn't have a lot of people we believed would dance at our wedding. We originally checked out Dependable DJ because it was within our price range and it had good reviews, that was it. However, Steven came and was able to get everyone on the dance floor at some point. He had such a wide variety of music, even including music from my husband's home of Trinidad and Tobago. I had so many people asking me about the DJ and telling me how great he was. Not only that, he also was great at communicating and allowed us to do most of our planning with him online since we didn't always have cell phone reception (like I said, my husband is international). Steven went above and beyond and I'd recommend him as the best DJ at any wedding I've been too!

We just got married 2 weeks ago and I am still getting compliments on Johnny!! He truly was an amazing DJ. As soon as the dance floor was open to everyone for dancing, we had a huge group of people dancing all night until the last song! It was an amazing night! If you need a DJ Johnny is amazing! He answered any questions I had we did a final run through of the night right before the wedding. He has an easy to use online form to fill out for songs. And it's reasonably priced. Not only did we like him, but so did our guests! Great DJ!

I HIGHLY recommend using Dependable Wedding DJs. Johnny Partida was the DJ for our wedding on 4/22/17 and he was AMAZING! He was highly responsive, answered any and all questions we had and kept us free of any worries for our wedding day. By the time our wedding day came, we felt like he was one of the family! The absolute best part of all is that he kept that dance floor full! He even worked with my sister for a surprise she had for her Maid of Honor speech. She had a special song that had to be worked into the speech at just the right time and WOW did he deliver! My sister was so happy she gave Johnny a huge hug! Another plus is that he had no problem traveling to Merrillville, Indiana all the way from Melrose Park. That's not a short drive! He definitely exceeded our expectations and if we could do our wedding all over again we'd make sure to get Johnny Partida of Dependable Wedding DJs again!

We had an AMAZING experience with Dependable Wedding DJs, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking. Steven was our DJ that night and he was so hands on and made sure that everything was running smoothly. He was amazing with our guests and kept them dancing and hyped up. We opted to book our DJ services with a Photobooth, and we are so glad that we did! Our guests loved it and we were able to get copies of each photo strip for our memories! To be completely honest, after our wedding, we have compared ours to those of others and we have yet to see another DJ as fun or as dedicated as Steven! Our DJ was Johnny Partida! I don't know where to start! The man surpassed my expectations! He was ON POINT with EVERY song! The people in attendance were a diverse crowd and Johnny was so good that at no one time was the dance floor empty and at the end, no one wanted to leave. I wish I had 10 stars!

When we first met with Johnny, we felt that this would be a great fit right away. I had a lot of questions and worries since we had our wedding in the south suburbs and they are located in the north suburbs. He answered all my questions and reassured me that they had plenty of fail-safes in place in case of any issues that may arise. We also had some non-traditional music choices for several of the events and he was able to work with all of them, on top of playing some traditional Jewish music for my family. He kept everybody up and dancing and I got several compliments on how good the music choices were. Everybody had fun and he kept us on task for the events through the night perfectly. Johnny wan a fantastic DJ!

After looking into numerous DJ services, my husband and I chose Dependable DJs. We worked with DJ Johnny, who would not have been any easier to work with. From our initial meeting, we knew his outgoing personality would be great for our wedding. He was helpful in work with us to play the songs we requested (including some difficult to find Italian and Puerto Rican songs). He kept all of out guests on the dance floor all night, and even accepted the crowds encore request of Free Bird. the Photo Booth we chose was great, and Dependable DJ provided all props for our guests. I would highly recommend this DJ service!

Jacob was beyond exceptional. He was incredibly responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, and when it came to the big day, everything was perfect. He kept our guests happy and dancing- and he still respected our wishes to not play certain songs (which, my husband and I totally caved on and let him know it was OK to play). He made sure we did important things (like the first dance... and cutting the cake... lol), which we were so busy enjoying ourselves we probably would've forgotten about. I would recommend Jacob and Dependable Wedding DJs to anyone. He was also fairly priced - in fact, he could probably get away with charging more because he was that good.

The photobooth was great - they had tons of props, and to the best of my knowledge there were no hiccups with the equipment. The photobooth attendant was great, too. My only disappointment was that we didn't realize that we wouldn't get a photo album with a copy of the guests' photobooth pictures (we had just assumed that would be part of it just because of other weddings we had gone to) - we could only access them online. That was kind of a bummer because we aren't going to end up printing any of them, and most of our guests didn't know what to do with the extra copy, so they ended up taking them home. This was a miscommunication on our part for not asking about this, so we're not faulting them or discrediting stars at all. If you get the photobooth with your wedding package (which I highly recommend - there were tons of pictures to laugh at, and the guests really enjoyed it), I'd just ask them about the album if you want one.

All in all, Dependable Wedding DJs was a great choice. Thanks, Jacob!

Hiring a DJ is one of the most important decisions for your wedding, as a good DJ can really make the evening extra special. With that said, I am so, so happy we hired Jacob!

Jacob is incredibly organized with great attention to detail. He essentially acted as our wedding coordinator as well as our DJ. He made sure everyone was in the right place for events, such as entrances, cake cutting, bouquet toss and etc. He even brought his teammate with him to ensure everything went smoothly.

Additionally, his equipment is awesome! His speakers filled the room evenly with sound, but it never got too loud. His lighting also looked great, as well as the custom gobo light he helped us make for the dance floor.

We knew the DJ we would hire would have a tough job, as we had a diverse group of guests with very diverse music tastes at our wedding. We had my husband's family who is Indian and loves Indian music; then we had my family/family friends who loves classic wedding music/oldies (Ted Nugent was at the top of my dad's requests), and then we had our friends who like Top 40. Making this all flow together into one cohesive night was no easy task, but Jacob pulled it off! Our dance floor was full all night, and are guests are still talking about how fun our wedding was!

From the moment we booked with Jason till the last song on our wedding night he was amazing! His attention to detail and professionalism was great. My husband and I have different tastes in music and Jason did a great job getting to know both of us and what we wanted for our wedding. This was the first wedding I was at that once the dance floor was opened up to everyone that no one returned to their seats!! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. You always hear that what makes a wedding is the food and music and all I've been hearing from our guests is how great both were! We were so happy we hired Johnny as our wedding dj! He took care of so many things to help the night go smoothly so we could just enjoy the party!

He was great coordinating all of us as we were walking in and making sure he knew where all the important people were seated. (Grandma, parents, godparents, etc.)

He was great adapting to a few changes that came up throughout the night, the person giving the blessing had to leave early, an extra parent ended up wanting to give a toast, and our cousins surprised us with a personalized cover song. My husband and I both had mild panics when we realized something unplanned was happening but Johnny took everything in stride which helped us calm down. He even played an encore last song when our guests refused to leave at the end of the night.

Overall the song selection was perfect and Johnny has a great energy. Many of our guests came up to us throughout the night saying how much they loved our dj. We had previously told him one of our main concerns was keeping it family friendly as we had many kids at our reception (big families) and he did an awesome job while still keeping the music selection fun. We easily always had 50 plus people on the dance floor all night.

I have nothing but compliments for Johnny and would happily recommend him to any future brides and grooms.

Dependable Wedding DJs did an amazing job at our wedding on 5/13/16!! Jason, our DJ, helped to keep everything organized and flowing the entire night! The dance floor was full from the time the music started until the very end - our guests chanted for an encore after our time at the venue was up! DWD's website was extremely user friendly and it was easy to choose and organize the songs and genres we wanted to play (and also make a list of the ones we didn't want to play!!). For each event throughout the evening and night (introductions, first dances, etc), their website provided spots to insert each song we wanted to play during those moments. Again, their website is so easy to use and incredibly organized! Jacob ran the photo booth which was absolutely great and was enjoyed by all of our guests! They have so many different options for masks, hats, signs, etc. for the photo booth and it was incredibly fun!!! My husband and I highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area!

Jacob and Johnny are the best! My husband and I were nervous about the music because we had been to weddings where they played songs from the "do not play list" and the dance floor was empty- but Jacob and Johnny exceeded our expectations. The portal to choose songs was super easy to use, they responded very quickly to all our questions and more than happy to jump on a call whenever we needed. The day of our wedding they showed up early, played the music we requested and none of the "do not plays" and had the dance floor packed all night. I did not have to worry about a thing with them, they kept the reception moving along exactly according to plan. They are the best and we HIGHLY recommend them!!

I used Dependable DJ's for my wedding this Saturday, Johnny was our DJ and he was absolutely wonderful. He played every song that was requested and had a wonderful playlist. Jacob, his assistant and his wife were amazing to have at our wedding this summer. We met with them and knew right away that they truly cared about providing a great experience for us on our wedding day and they delivered nothing short of that. Jacob did an AMAZING job for my wedding which was at a brand new hotel. We were only the third wedding at the hotel, so there were a lot of unknowns to work with. Jacob handled everything like a true professional, and the entire day ran smoothly largely because of him. Because I had no clue what my wedding reception room even looked like, I was completely unsure at to what kind of lighting I would need. Jacob took much of the lighting situation into his own hands, was extremely generous, and made the place look beautiful. My father-in-law wanted to perform a song for us, so Jacob ensured that equipment was set up for him. When it came time for the speeches, Jacob scoped out the maid of honor and best man to let them know that their time was almost coming up. EVERYBODY had a great time, and after the last song was played, Jacob played two additional songs because nobody wanted to stop dancing. I would hire Jacob again in a heartbeat!

Jacob and his wife Holly were an excellent pair for our wedding. Jacob was the DJ and his wife ran the photo booth. They were both very prepared and professional. Jacob has done many weddings, so he knows how to organize a wedding schedule for the reception so that he will not need anything from you on the day of the event. He played all the music we requested, kept people dancing, and also kept the event on schedule, introducing everyone who was about to speak and every small event that needed to happen. Before the wedding, Jacob was always easy to reach. He responded within one day and was open to any question that we had to ask (and we had a lot of small questions). I would definitely recommend dependable DJ's for an affordable, personal, no stress, and high quality experience.

Jacob was our DJ for our wedding this May - he was wonderful! We met a couple of times to go over everything we wanted, and they have a great online planner where you can put in all your song choices, do-not-plays, etc. He did a great job throughout the cocktail hour and reception and we were glad to have him there! I would highly recommend Dependable Wedding DJs. We had both their DJ services and photo booth at our wedding. Jacob and his wife were fantastic to work with. They embraced our nerdy theme and played a perfect mix of all the interesting music we selected. We noticed that Jacob had an intuitively good sense of timing in terms of DJing and MC-ing. We also noticed that he was not one of those obnoxious MC's you want to strangle, which was a plus. During the wedding preps, they were responsive. Jacob was always available via phone or email and even made a special trip to our hotel a few days before the wedding to pick up a flash drive with some of our more obscure music selections so that it could all be incorporated. They were very flexible, to the point that they even gave up their reception seats while I tried to work out two last minute additions to the guest list. They were receptive to our input. They were very reliable and I did not worry about the DJ/photo booth at all during my wedding, which really says something. I found their prices to be very competitive. I can't say enough good things about them!

I decided to trust in this company for my not only the music for my ceremony and reception, but for my photo booth as well. I was very happy with the outcome and the photo booth was a hit! Jacob was not only professional, but personal as well which made me feel comfortable right away. I did not have the most "traditional" wedding, but he managed to mold all of my selections in for the night without a second thought. Johnny and Steve were great at my wedding. Johnny kept up good communication with me throughout the process. Jacob is Awesome! What a blast to work with! All I kept hearing all night long at our wedding was how much everyone loved our DJ! Jacob was on top of everything, so I had no worries(which is all a bride can ask for). Johnny from Dependable Wedding DJs was a pleasure to work with! The level of service we received for the price was absolutely fantastic.

We gave him our "must play" list and he blended these songs perfectly with the rest of the evening. He also gave us some advice to make sure that our unique live recording of our first dance song would work.

Most importantly, I didn't have to worry about anything the whole night. He would always give a warning when an important moment was coming up and would find my husband in the crowd so he knew as well. The dance floor was crowded the entire evening and we heard from many, many guests about how great the DJ was!

Jacob was our DJ and he was great! We had a Saturday evening wedding with 100 people. I think everyone has that fear no one will be dancing at their wedding or they'll have a DJ who thinks he's a talk show host and doesn't put the mic down. Well fear not! We were told about Dependable Wedding DJs by our photographer, and we must say, we are glad we went with them. DJ Johnny was amazing! We had so much fun picking out songs we wanted played at the reception, and everyone to this day is still talking about how our wedding & reception were the best they have ever been to! Johnny kept the music playing all night long, and it was the appropriate kind of music for every part of the reception itself, never too loud when it wasn't appropriate. Dance floor was packed all night long!
Johnny at Dependable DJ's did such an awesome job. He made sure to make the process as streamline and simple as possible. His professionalism was outstanding with the prep work ahead of time. Allowing for all the right music to be played and to omit the items we didn't want. Organizing the ceremony music, dinner music, and dancing music was made so easy with his planning forms. DJ Johnny was excellent. On point with everything & even went above & beyond to make the event special. He helped with a picture slideshow I was trying to put together but had issues at the last minute. Johnny helped me load the pictures & turned it into a beautiful slideshow & even had a good song picked out to listen to during the slideshow.

If I'm ever in need of a DJ .... DJ Johnny will be the only DJ I will aim to book.

We Had Jacob as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have been more happy with his services. For starters, Jacob ALWAYS replies to any messages you send him in lighting speed. My husband (yay me) and I have 7 children between the two of us and Jacob was very flexible about times and places when meeting with us. His prices are very, very reasonable and well worth it. Jacob was full of suggestions when we needed music ideas and kept our guests dancing and enjoying themselves all night. We highly recommend him and his company to anyone needing a DJ for ANY event.

We had Johnny as our DJ for our event, which wasn't a wedding. It was actually a birthday bash that my family threw for my aunt's 50th birthday.
Johnny was very courteous, knowledgeable and made the experience very pleasant by working with me on what music we wanted and didn't want played at the event prior to the event. Even helped out with the music for our slide show.
I would definitely recommend Dependable DJs and specifically Johnny for your upcoming event.

Jacob was our DJ and his wife ran the photo booth. They both did a great job. They were on time, help us rehearse and offered a bunch of help planning the night out. DJ services were top notch. Pictures turned out great from the photo booth! He also did a wonderful job keeping us on track throughout the night. Our guests had a blast!!!

A DJ can make or break your reception. I've been to several weddings where the dance floor was empty the majority of the night. I knew that I didn't want that to happen at my reception. From the moment I met Jacob I knew I was in good hands!! He's flexible with meeting times which was wonderful with my crazy work schedule. He is so polite, professional and respectful. By respectful I mean, he never tried to tell me how to run my own reception, which a lot of DJ's will do. He listened to all my questions and answered them with great detail then offered helpful suggestions. I had an AMAZING reception!! The dance floor was packed from start to finish because Jacob played the perfect variety of songs! There were so many people that stayed til the very end of the reception because everyone was having so much fun. People I never expected to stay for the whole reception, did. And they were out on the dance floor! Loved my reception but it wouldn't have been so successful with any other DJ and that's a fact!

We worked with Jacob Lawhead for our March 16th wedding this year. Jacob was fun, professional and all around easy to work with. He was mindful of our budget, great at offering suggestions, flexible regarding meeting times/locations and did a fantastic job on the big day. We could not have asked for more and we were 100% satisfied with his work. Would definitely recommend!

Dependable DJ Rocks!

Jacob is polite, approachable and professional. He was very easy to work with and was flexible enough to help plan our reception around our busy schedule.

During the event, he orchestrated the evening extremely well. Thanks to his organization, attention to detail and planning efforts, the evening went flawlessly. A great DJ can make the difference between chaos and the fantastic evening that we had.

We were extremely happy with the dj services Dependable Wedding Djs provided for us! Jacob provided ideas for songs we could use when we weren't sure on some of them. He also helped put together a mixed track so that my husband and I, along with the bridal party, could do a flashmob for our bridal party dance. He played music that kept our family and friends dancing all night! He answered any questions we had in a timely fashion. He was a great pleasure to work with! My husband and I would definitely recommend him to others!

Dependable Wedding DJs should be the only choice for your upcoming wedding! Not only are they reasonably priced, the DJ I worked with, Jacob, was very helpful and accommodating. Throughout the entire process whenever I needed a question answered or clarification on anything, he was always timely with his responses. Always professional, always upbeat, and always willing to go the extra mile! The company is very organized and an easy pick for anyone that wants to have a great time dancing the night away on their special day.

It was a easy decison when picking a dj for our wedding. We saw Jacob at two weddings before ours and we knew that he would do a great job!! We couldnt have been happier! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night, and there was something for everyone. Even when he noticed some people leaving the dance floor he would switch it up and everyone would be back out there!! He was very helpful when picking songs and really tried to make sure he knew everyone in the wedding party. We have reccommended him to MANY friends and im sure we will be seeing him again. My husband and I used Dependable wedding DJ because we thought Jacob was very polite and went above and beyond to meet with us to go over ceremony music along with cocktail/reception music. Jacob responded quickly to emails if I had questions. and he was very reasonable in the price. He was willing to drive to our location and stay longer than planned if we wanted to dance more.

We hired Jacob from Dependable Weddings to do our uplighting at our wedding. Dependable DJs is very reasonable and the uplighting was amazing! I love how they have so many color options and are so flexible. We really wanted uplighting at our wedding but other companies weren't as flexible, offered more what we were looking for, and were very expensive. Just when were were about to give up on uplighting, we found Dependable Wedding Djs and they are just that, dependable!

Dependable wedding DJ's get great marks from my husband and me. Through their website my family and friends were able to request songs before the wedding day (we were able to also). They were very helpful with uplighting and setting everything up right and on time. You can personalize your package as much as you want-they provided a screen and projector so I could play my pictures of my father and me while we were dancing. Did a great job with name pronunciations and made sure to double check names before the introductions into the reception. He also was able to find/download odd song requests very quickly and kept my guests dancing. Everything was smooth and professional and would (and already have) request this DJ to any of my friends or family-or any bride looking for a great DJ service for a great price! Also, ask DJ about photographer (he introduced me to the one that took my pictures and the deal I got was amazing-as was the quality).

I was probably the most nervous about selecting a DJ for our wedding because a DJ can make or break the whole experience! However, from the moment we met Jacob from Dependable DJs, our worries were at ease. He was patient, kind, and listened exactly to what we wanted. He was willing to go above and beyond to see our wedding venue, download music selections that we wanted, and meet to go over our exact ceremony and reception plan. He was extremely prompt over email as well and answered all of our questions! Our reception was a blast - we preferred a DJ who would play the music we requested and make a few shoutouts to the crowd. Jacob did exactly that and was not overly aggressive with the microphone or crowd! Also, when shopping around, I felt that this price was very reasonable comparatively. If you are looking for a relaxed, laid back, DJ who will listen to your requests, it is without a doubt that I would give my highest recommendation for Jacob and Dependable DJs!

The DJ was great and provided excellent service. He responded to the crowd and to the requests of my guests. He made my night carefree and relaxed and at the same time fun by keeping his eye on the time and making sure that the night was everything we wanted.

These guys were absolutly amazing! My husband and I married 12/31/2010, New Years Eve, and it was the best NYE party I have ever been to! They made the reception hall look amazing with the blue LED lights all around the room and when it was time to party they picked the perfect songs for everyone, even my grandparents, to dance! Our reception went on until 1am and a party that was right next to us ended at 12am and they were able to see into our place and even commented on how great Dependable Wedding DJ's services were! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better time with all of our friends and family! Jacob at Dependable Wedding Djs was Outstanding. He went above and beyond our expectations. I can say if I had to do my wedding over again I would hire Dependable Wedding Djs again and would not consider anyone else. Jacob did a great job with our wedding. We put together and extensive music list which he followed. He didn't play the music too loud. He did mispronounce a few of the names, so that was the only downside but overall I would recommend him, and the price he charges is unbeatable compared to some of the other DJs I've interviewed.

I had been to several wedding expos and had accumulated more information on DJs than I knew what to do with. There were so many that seemed very personable and fun, but then after reviewing their prices, they were way outside our budget. My husband found Dependable Wedding DJs through a bunch of raving reviews. We met with Jacob soon after and thought he was great. He was so friendly and willing to work with whatever we wanted AND without breaking the bank. He was willing to personalize our DJ experience to our exact tastes rather than just using an already made playlist.
My husband and I had an outdoor wedding and asked if he could help with the sound for that as well. Since there had never been a wedding at that location before, Jacob wanted to make sure everything would be perfect (to make sure we could get power out that far away from a building and to make sure the sound was good). Weeks before the wedding, he drove two hours to our site just to make sure we wouldn't have any problems. He set up his equipment to do some sound checks and allowed us to walk through the ceremony to time out the processional songs like I wanted. He also came to check out the reception site to make sure to bring enough equipment. I don't believe most DJs would take time out of schedules to go above and beyond like Jacob did. It was so nice to have piece of mind on the day of the wedding that there would be no problems.

Dependable wedding DJs also has a great client portal set up on the website that allows you to add songs you want and don't want. I had every intention of using this to set up an entire playlist for the reception, however, it kept getting pushed down on my to do list and I never had time before the wedding. Even though I didn't use it, they couldn't make it any easier to get exactly what you want out of your DJ experience. Even without having all my "absolutely play" and "do not play" songs selected, Jacob did a great job and I would definitely hire him again.

Our dj was so nice and did an awesome job. He was very affordable and flexible with packages. He let us customize everything and our guests had a blast. Pretty lighting, we had a slideshow and he also played the ceremony music as well. Thank you!!

Loved our experience so far with Johnny Partida at Dependable Wedding DJs. He has been very accomodating, friendly, professional and responsive. I have absolute faith that he will be great on the day of our wedding!

Ended up switching to Jacob Lawhead (owner of company) for our day-of services and he did a GREAT job. He was fantastic to work with, so accommodating, professional and a sweet heart. Loved it and he made my day great :)

Dancing All Night!

Johnny from Dependable DJ was amazing! We were having a tradition wedding, when we decided we didn’t want a stuffy suit wedding and turned it into a Disco Wedding!
We picked all our music on the website for dancing, dinner and cocktail hour. Johnny had us dancing all night! Our venue didn’t allow decorations, so we ordered the up-lights they made the venue look like a discotheque! We also rented the photo booth which was a big hit! Thank you Johnny for a great ceremony all the music was perfect.
