We used Denver Lighting and DJ Services and had Thomas as our DJ for our NYE wedding! I cannot say enough good things about them! The communication was excellent from the start to plan the vision for our big day. Kevin was able to align the perfect DJ for our event. Thomas had everyone on the dance floor for 4+ hours and did an awesome job in his mix of pre-requested songs, guest requests and other popular songs. I would highly recommend them for any wedding! -

Kevin Rauth of Denver Lighting and DJ Services did an excellent job handling all our DJ music for my daughter’s wedding at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, CO. We had four different music location needs: the outdoor ceremony, the cocktail hour, the dinner (which was in a different location) and back to the reception area. The music and Kevin’s ability to politely move 165 people from one location to the next were perfect! He even did all the announcing for the dinner toasts and of course the wedding dances. We added his lighting package and were very glad we did as it made the reception space more of a nightclub for the later hours.
Thank you, Kevin. You did such a professional job and I know Nicole and TJ enjoyed working with you.

Kevin from Denver Lighting & DJ Services was absolutely incredible! Like us he is a 90's kid with love for punk rock. We immediately felt a connection with Kevin while interviewing and knew we had to hire him for our wedding.
And Kevin did not disappoint!
He was knowledgeable about our venue and its challenges. He made great recommendations on how best to highlight the room with lighting and how best to mic up our officiant who was a woman. We also really appreciated that Kevin was flexible with how we chose music. For our cocktail hour we made a curated playlist of our songs, but then for dinner we only had a vague 'feeling' or 'vibe'. Kevin was incredible about adapting to both and the music all night was absolutely perfection.
As I mentioned, we are big fans of punk rock while man of our guests were not. Kevin did an amazing job during the dance party of giving us some of what we love while still keeping our guests happy and dancing.
I would absolutely recommend Denver Lighting & DJ to anyone. You won't regret it!

DJ Kevin was great from the day we booked him until the end of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for anything more! Of all the weddings I've been to DJ Kevin was definitely a step above the rest and if I had the opportunity I would book him again. After everything it felt more like a great friend was our DJ, if you book him you won't be disappointed! DJ Kevin takes the time to get to know you and personalize your playlist--he made sure the night flowed well and checked in with us on timing all throughout the evening. He played all our favorite tunes as well as guest requests! Kevin was exceptionally professional and fun at the same time and we cannot recommend him more! -

DJ Scott Perry totally rocked our son’s wedding in Kiowa, Colorado in September 2022. Scott & Kevin Rauth with Denver Lighting and DJ Services met with us at the venue before the wedding so that they could nail down last minute details with regard to the evening’s schedule. We live in San Diego, so trying to coordinate the wedding music & entertainment was a bit daunting. Kevin was excellent at communication throughout the entire process. Scott handled some last minute changes as well as some guests’ requests during the dance—and then he focused on keeping the lights blinking & music thumping until midnight when the venue closed down. We would 100% hire them again in a second. Keep the music playing, guys!!! -

Kevin MC’d AND DJ’d our wedding and made it so much fun! He’s a natural for this job and it shows. We even had a rainstorm during the wedding and Kevin made a smooth and quick transition of all mics and equipment to the tent. You could tell he knew exactly what to do. Kevin has exceptional communication and brings a special element of fun an authenticity to the party. The lights were flawless, the music was on point, and as the bride, I could relax knowing I was in good hands. Kevin is the best and you won’t regret choosing him to take care of things on your special day. Thanks Kevin! -

Do you want to have an amazing wedding? Then we suggest you hire Kevin! It's the truth - after serving as a wedding MC for more than one friend, I knew that I didn't want a guest to have to do that and I knew that I wanted wonderful music that really reflected us as a couple. Kevin was so professional and really took the time to get to know us, and as a same-sex female couple we did have some specific requests about the overall tone and type of music. It was very important to my wife that everyone knew what to expect and what was happening when, and he did a terrific job making sure our evening flowed perfectly. The lighting he brought also added to much to our whole evening. I've watched friends agonize over playlists, and I have to say it was so amazing to just outline genres and artists we liked for different sections of our evening and let Kevin run with it. Music was a big deal to me, and I have to say that we received the most compliments from guests about how awesome the music was! Everything from the cocktail hour songs that were fun but didn't overpower the conversation, to the classic romantic songs throughout dinner, to the super fun (mostly 80's) dance party. Every moment of our special night had the perfect soundtrack, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! -

Amazing! Kevin was the perfect choice choice.
Kevin was amazing! He’s incredibly thorough and considers every single detail of your big day. We had a remote wedding at our family ranch and Kevin travelled hours to provide dj and lighting services. We couldn’t have found a better DJ or lighting service for our wedding -

Kevin is SO highly organized and kind, and was a pleasure to work with. He made my now husband, Joe, and I feel at ease with his vast knowledge of music and seamless wedding planning process. I couldn't recommend him enough to any engaged couple needing a DJ, or anyone who needs a DJ for an event. He really helped encourage guests to get on the dance floor and was receptive to Joe and I's vision for our wedding. Thank you for everything, Kevin!! -

Fantastic All Around
Kevin is an amazing DJ! From the moment we met Kevin, we were sure we wanted him to be the DJ at our wedding and sure enough, he was fantastic! Professional and kind from the very beginning, Kevin was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process of planning a wedding. He even came and set up his equipment at a more convenient time for us and then returned later to begin DJing for no extra charge. He has a fantastic questionnaire that you go through and answer questions so he can be sure nothing gets missed at your event. I loved that and felt it was very thorough. At the wedding he made sure everything went so smoothly! We had a friend in a t-rex costume chase in our bridal party and Kevin really made the moment shine - he was hilarious and so well timed! He was fun and delightful on the microphone and when the dancing started, he definitely kept the party going! There wasn’t a single moment the dance floor was empty! Also the lighting looked fantastic! I wasn’t really sure what to expect with that (I’ve never really thought about lighting a wedding reception before) so we let Kevin pick the colors and he did such a fantastic job - the church looked even more stunning thanks to the lighting. I would highly, highly recommend Denver Lighting and DJ Services! Thank you so much Kevin for helping to make our wedding day one I'll always cherish! -

Our day was made so special in no small part by Kevin and the guys at DLDJ Services. They are the best, most professional guys around. They will go the extra mile for you always, not because it's their job, but because that's who they are as people. Kevin's planning, diligence, integrity and knowledge will make your special day, or any occasion for that matter so much better than it could have been. He helped us with our lighting, music, announcements, everything. These guys are incredible. If you don't hire them, you will regret it because there is no one in their profession that comes even close to the intimate experience that they deliver.
