  We ordered our wedding cake (red velvet with buttercream frosting) from Delicieuse Princesse Bakery, and we could not have been happier. Our cake looked exactly like the picture we showed them, was moist and delicious, and literally less than 1/2 the price of other wedding cake quotes we received.

  Our wedding cake was perfect! Asian cakes are typically cheaper, but you always compromise the service. Not with Victor. He was easy to work with and is experienced with wedding cakes. He even called me the day before the wedding to double-check on a few details. Delivery was prompt. I could eat my wedding cake everyday because it was so tasty. Not as sweet and heavy as all those expensive wedding cakes you encounter at those wedding fairs. I am so happy to have found Delicieuce through Yelp.

  Best money (besides my coordinators) I ever spent! I was expecting that since this is a Chinese bakery that I'd be dealing with someone who didn't speak english and who was going to push me to buy more or be otherwise inflexible. Instead, I dealt with Victor (the cake baker) directly through email and he followed up with me about every change I wanted to make and was incredibly flexible. My three-tier cake which served more than our 120 guests + a tier to bring home + lots of cake left over for folks was only $300 (WITH an $80 delivery charge to Millbrae) and was incredibly beautiful. I showed Victor a picture of what I wanted and it came out even more beautiful than I imagined. We chose a white sponge cake with strawberry filling, which isn't as heavy as traditional American cakes but perfect for our families and we were really happy with it.

  I used them for my wedding cake in September of 2010...one of the best vendors I used. The cake was beautiful and delicious! We got so many compliments on the look and the taste.   We chose Delicieuse Princesse because their prices for wedding cakes are really, really affordable compared to a lot of other professional cake catering companies. If you're looking for a tiered wedding-esque cake, we couldn't find a more affordable option. On the other hand, if you just want cake and you don't care if it's tiered or if it's just several individual cakes, their prices are wayyy too high.
  
  Their store is quite small and dingy and honestly rather dirty, and their flavors are just okay for the most part, but we liked their fruit cake, so we ordered a three-tier from them. Delivery of the cake also cost extra, and the owner is pretty firm on the price. She's really bossy and not that easygoing, honestly, but is basically like- 'do you want a cake from us or not?'
  
  Also, if you want to decorate your cake, they make you buy your own flowers and/or ribbon and you have to drop these off the day before your big day. This felt pretty sucky to have to do, but flowers/ribbon aren't that pricey so it's actually okay.
  
  Come if you must have a tiered cake that won't break the bank. Otherwise, if you just want cake, go elsewhere! There are SO many cake places in the Bay Area that are more affordable and make BETTER single cakes.
