We had our wedding at the Tampa River Center and Delectables was one of the catering options that we could have chosen. From the moment we saw their menu, we knew that they were the right choice. The communication was impeccable and they were able to answer all of our questions and help us decide what would be the best fit. There was honesty in every conversation, and I was so happy for that. We went into our wedding blind, without a tasting prior and let's just say it was a success. All of our guest agreed that it was by far the best wedding food that they had ever had. Our guests including ourselves, stated that they could not decide what was better, the appetizers or the actual meal. The service was impeccable, everything came out perfectly. If you are looking for a caterer that works with you, and provides a gourmet meal for a very good price, this is the one you need. You will not regret it, and your guest are going to be thanking you later! Thank you so much Delectables for helping make our dream day come true. -

For our wedding day, Michael and I wanted to offer our guests multiple meal choices and ensure that everyone would enjoy their meal. We are so happy we chose Delectables to cater our wedding! Communication with Stephanie was stellar! She ensured that our concerns and wishes were communicated with the team and collaborated well with our other vendors. We were able to sample the food and finetune our meal choices during our tasting. They helped us choose glasses and tableware that matched our overall wedding vision. The servers were professional and personable. Our food was presented beautifully, served hot, and tasted delicious! We were even given a plate of the hors d'oeuvres passed during cocktail hour- which was also delicious! Their team also assisted our wedding planners with turning over the room from ceremony to reception. They also displayed our cake and midnight snacks for guests. Everything was simply perfect! Delectables catering catered our wedding in April and they were AMAZING!
Janice was very helpful from the very beginning. She helped create the perfect package for us for a great price! the food was absolutely delicious! We had seated dinner , dual plate (steak, chicken, 2 sides, and salad) Everyone loved it! We did 2 tastings before the wedding and that went great as well.
The servers and bartenders were super nice, friendly and professional!

Contracted with Delectables for our daughter and son-in-laws 11/26/2022 wedding. Can't recommend Delectables Catering enough! They were outstanding in both service and food quality. Our guests raved about the food from the seafood appetizers served pass around style through the beef and chicken buffet meal service for our 100 guests. They even went beyond expectations and handled special meals for our 3 young guests with severe egg allergies so the kids could enjoy a special dinner! LOVED the service by Delectables throughout the planning to wedding experience. You won't regret using them! -

The Best Wedding Caterers!
My partner and I couldn't have been more impressed with Delectables! Janice and Laurie were an absolute pleasure to work with. They walked us through each and every step, made recommendations, and answered any and all questions promptly. We had around 120 guests with hors d'oeurvres (beggar's purses, croustades, mushroom caps, asparagus crepes) and a plated dinner (eggplant rollatini, chicken boursin, filet mignon chasseur) with a salad (caprese salad) and starch side (duchess potatoes). They also took care of ALL linens which made the setup coordination a breeze. It's been over two months since our wedding and our family and friends are STILL bringing up how delicious the food was and how wonderful the service was! Everyone at Delectables had such a positive and professional attitude and it made the planning process seamless and exciting. I highly, highly, highly recommend them! My husband and I had the good fortune of having Delectables cater our wedding reception in May of 2022 at Nova 535 in St. Pete. I am so glad we did! Having yummy food was one of our top priorities for our party, and Delectables knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments on it! We went with the Tropical Nights menu, and found it was the perfect option to appeal to our guests (about a quarter of whom were Nigerian and the remainder American). We worked with Gabrielle throughout the planning phase. She was very professional and responsive, and made the whole process so easy. Delectables was one of the preferred vendors at Nova 535, so the venue and catering teams communicated and worked together seamlessly and required very little from us. They also worked closely with our cake baker (Cakes by Corey) and offered us free cake cutting which was awesome. I highly recommend Delectables! -

We worked with Janice to customize our dinner to work for our families. We were able to do 1/2 portions of chicken and steak for our meals that helped us in our wedding planning because we only had to ask our guests whether they had allergies/dietary restrictions instead of asking for meal choices from our 120 guests. The staff were the friendliest we've ever encountered at a wedding and they even saved us a couple of massive plates full of the hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail hour that we missed because of photos. My husband's family is Italian from Pittsburgh so we had a cookie table set up that the serving staff made sure was replenished throughout the night. Whatever ideas you have for your wedding menu and other treats, Delectables can make it happen! Guests kept coming up to us and complimenting the food all night. -

One of the very best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Delectables! We initially planned to be married in November 2020, but because of COVID, we had to reschedule to November 2021. Delectables was so accommodating and made sure that everything was just right for us!
Janice was a complete joy to work with and helped answer all of my million questions from rescheduling to menu choices to napkin placement. She is a gem! On the day of our celebration, the Delectables staff showed up early and got straight to work. Rick was our supervisor and he made sure that my husband and I got our plates of food first and that everything flowed seamlessly from the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert. The waitstaff and bartender were also completely wonderful to work with. And the food!!! Our guests still can't stop talking about how delicious everything was and asking me to find the recipes.
Without reservation, I would recommend Delectables to anyone who needs an event catered. 10/10 would hire again! -

They say the food is one of the things guests will remember most about your wedding….if that is true, then I had one of the most memorable weddings ever! Delectables is by far our favorite caterer for large events. Janice is the most patient person and so knowledgable! We really enjoyed the food (so did our guests!) at our wedding, the decor is excellent, timely, personable, food options are wonderful and Delectables was amazing in catering to our needs of several food intolerances, dietary needs and preferences of our guests. Delectables Fine Catering did an excellent job. The food was absolutely amazing. I had passed hors d'oeuvres, Latin nights buffet, and their dessert bar. Everything tasted absolutely amazing. It was so hard to narrow down our menu at their tasting since everything tasted so good. Janice was very professional and friendly. They made sure the bridal party got some hors 'doeuvres upon arrival to the reception venue. We were served immediately to make sure the bridal party ate dinner. We got so many compliments on the food. I absolutely recommend them for any event! -

Delectables was a preferred vendor at our venue for our wedding in Brooksville (just north of Tampa). Not only was the food amazing, they were super accommodating with serving plated at our venue that typically went with buffet style. The staff were amazing and they also provided our linens (included) and glassware rentals (add'l charge). Overall, I would highly recommend! -

Without a doubt, choosing Delectables as our wedding caterer was one of the best decisions we could have made. We tried several others in the Tampa Bay area and left disappointed. Finally we made it to one of Delectables tastings (Which are held each month). The food was outstanding and having the ability to go to several tastings helped us tremendously with putting together our menu. The price per person included hor d'oeuvres, dinner, the wedding cake, all the linens and dinnerware, and an ice sculpture! The value was unreal and the food even better.
Like so many others, our wedding day ended up being postponed due to COVID-19. Delectables was understanding and worked with us the entire way. Their flexibility really put us at ease.
Finally, our big day arrived and between all the smiles, tears and dancing, our guests raved about the food! Multiple friends and family members came up to us and raved that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Most importantly, the Delectables team was attentive, polite and helpful. They served all the guests with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to be there throughout the entire event.
I can't recommend Delectables highly enough! 10/10! Five Stars! -

My daughter's wedding was 6/13 and the food and service provided by Delectables were superb! Janice was so professional and understanding throughout the planning process and ensured every detail was addressed. Now, we knew it would be good, but the food and presentation exceeded our expectations! The hors d'oeuvres and buffett were just delicious, and plenty for seconds! The seafood shooters were so good, as were the braised short ribs and chicken marsala. Delectables arrived early and didn't break down until the event ended. They also were a great help with serving the wedding cake. Our guests also enjoyed the coffee bar. Highly recommend Delectables for any event! -

My daughter recently married and we used Delectables Catering. This is the third event that I have used them for and I have to say they never disappoint. The food was amazing as usual, the staff was helpful to me when I was setting up tables and very attentive to the bride and groom during dinner. Janice was very responsive to my many questions and last minute changes. Everything was perfect and I will be using them again for sure. -

I absolutely recommend Delectables Fine Catering for wedding events, as they made my February 2020 wedding memorable to every guest who attended. As the bride, I still ate during the reception because our surrogate taste testers (family in the area) said everything was so delicious they were positive our selections would be too; we didn’t coordinate with Delectables to have our selections available during the tasting session, so our testers only tried a couple items we selected. The feedback relieved me, as I am known for being picky about food; admittedly, there are more foods I don’t like than foods that I do. I don’t eat at chain restaurants or fast food, as I want food prepared a certain way and can barely stand the smell of most cooked food. I share these peculiarities only to emphasize the significance of Delectables exceeding my expectations.
Communication: A+.
I highly value responsiveness and clear communication, and Janice met these expectations with her response time and ability to articulately write and speak. She methodically and quickly answered questions via phone and email, especially while I was completing my venue’s contract that required information about the caterer. After providing advice and walking me through various options based on my preferences, Janice patiently prepared multiple proposals as our decisions fluctuated. We felt like she genuinely wanted to ensure everything was how we wanted before signing the final contract and submitting payment. Janice proactively informed me when our check arrived and who the team’s supervisor would be during the wedding. She also worked around our last minute change from round to long tables. I truly appreciate her professionalism.
Food: A+.
Cocktail hour: We selected four butler-passed hors d’oeuvres: seafood shooters, vegetarian spring rolls, chicken satay, and prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella. The seafood shooters were exquisite. The groom was initially reluctant to order them because he pictured seafood in a shooter glass, but after our tasters told us how amazing they tasted and that they weren’t in a glass, we ordered them. The seafood was neatly displayed in a large, clam-like shell and covered with a cheese blend; we used sticks from the satay to scoop the seafood into our mouths. These were by far my favorite. Next favorite was the chicken satay with peanut sauce. They were acceptable without the sauce but so much better with it; I ate it both ways as to not double dip; they’re too long for a single bite. They had a tempura-like coating which was different than how I’m used to satay but still good. The vegetarian spring rolls were typical spring rolls but came in third because I don’t like fried food. And the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella ended up last because I’m not that fond of meat or cheese but still wanted others to enjoy them, which they did. The prosciutto was thicker than what one typically buys at the store.
Dinner: We ordered the Stations Buffet package and added two extra stations so we could have a variety of food stations: sushi, pasta, Indian, and paella. The sushi and pasta stations had a chef, so those options each cost $100 extra. The package also included a carving station with herb-roasted Châteaubriand au Jus, caprese salad, exotic bread display, and gourmet coffee bar with enough condiments my dad could make himself an Irish coffee using whiskey from the bar. We received raving reviews on everything but the sushi, which guests found a little dry and plain compared to Wegmans sushi and the other stations. But it didn’t affect the experience at all because guests overwhelmingly enjoyed the other three stations and Châteaubriand; they could taste the difference in the higher quality cut of meat. The made-to-order pasta was fresh, delicious, and accommodated vegetarian and non-dairy guests. The Indian food exceeded the groom’s father’s expectations, as he assumed it would be too watery; he’s from Guyana and extra particular about his curry but surprised himself and enjoyed this version, which wasn’t watery. The food was tasty and a couple of the items had a delightful spicy kick to them. There was a good variety, so it accommodated vegetarian and non-spicy guests. I loved the paella for how beautiful it looked, how fresh and flavorful it tasted, and how its variety of seafood, meat, chicken, vegetables, and rice accommodated our “only land animals,” “only sea creatures,” “only chicken,” and vegetarian guests. Janice advised this was a lot of food for under 40 guests, but we knew it wouldn’t be wasted since the servers box it up for guests to take with them. My family enjoyed it for the next day’s lunch before their departure flights, and the groom’s local family is still loving it! It’s been almost a week and the food still tastes amazingly delectable. Now I know how the company got its name.
Service: A+.
During cocktail hour, one of the servers actually brought a tray of hors d’oeuvres to us; we had been taking pictures and she figured we must be hungry and may want to eat something before meeting back up with the guests. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and ability to try the food too. The supervisor, Randy, managed his team well while also helping them. He was professional, and he executed the event as I’d conveyed to Janice. It’s a positive experience to work with such a well-coordinated company. They made smart use of the space with a logical layout of the multiple stations to prevent crowding or lines. The food and even coffee were magnificently displayed, which did justice to the food — a true demonstration of art enhancing another form of art.
Many thanks to my wedding venue, Legacy Lane Weddings, for recommending them! They endorsed Delectables so wholeheartedly they even had them cater the farm owner’s daughter’s wedding — and now you know why I absolutely recommend them too!

I could not say enough great things about our caterer. We got fantastic reviews all night about how delicious our food was! Janice (the bridal coordinator) worked with us and she made sure we had everything we needed. She helped us stay within our budget but also have enough food and options for everyone. Even though it was buffet style, the servers were very attentive to our guests. Food was one of the most important factors for us and we are so happy we went with Delectables. They offer a free tasting event every month so we were able to try multiple options before making our final selections. -

Another party and another fabulous job by Delectables!!! This year we used Delectables for a celebration of our daughter’s wedding which was three weeks ago at The Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande, Florida. We hosted the celebration party at our home and invited 86 guests. The food, the service and the clean up was impeccable. Delectables did a fantastic job catering our beach wedding. The ordering process was super easy, Janice did a fantastic job making sure we had the perfect menu. During the tasting they even made one of our entrees made just for us since it wasn't on the tasting menu that time. Plus they let us come back for a second tasting. During the wedding staff was all super professional and accommodating. Everything was setup very quick and looked excellent. The food was by far the best I've had at any wedding I've been to. Delectables was GREAT start to finish! Janis was a pleasure to work with and was always super responsive and helpful. We went to a handful of tastings to try and figure out exactly what we wanted on our menu. Once we had an idea of what we wanted, Janice even made sure to include all our items in one of their monthly tastings for us so we can see how it all worked together. All of their food is delicious so it's very hard to choose an entree. Our wedding guests have all mentioned how yummy the food was. The buffet was set up perfectly and the staff was awesome. Everything was served hot and we didn't run out of anything. I wanted fun appetizers so we went with the passed mini grilled cheese shooters and mini flatbreads. They were a huge hit and the staff made sure to bring me and my husband some during our bridal party pictures. Would definitely recommend to any bride looking for great quality food that won't break the bank! -

We had to pay extra for travel because of distance, but it was well worth it. Janice, the coordinator was helpful and quick to respond to questions. Unha Sent on 11/20/2017Michele was so great at answering all of my questions and keeping in touch with me throughout my entire engagement. The wedding went smoothly and the food was great! We had the filet mignon and chicken boursin. What I thought was also special was that the supervisor also saved my husband and I appetizers -which was great because I really wanted to try them!!! I’m so glad I chose them!!!
