  Perfect Hotel for Our Wedding!

  We had our wedding at the Delamar West Hartford on Saturday June 24th and the entire weekend was just incredible. The entire team at the Delamar went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend the best time ever, for us and for all of our family and friends. They are all so thoughtful, detail-oriented, professional, respectful, and caring people here. There are so many people we would like to personally thank, including Erin, Diana, Debbie, Dom, Charlie, Lourdes and so many more. Everyone on the team was just so hard-working and accommodating and flexible. We were initially super upset about having to cancel our outdoor wedding plans due to getting rained out, but they made our ballroom ceremony gorgeous and intimate and magical, and we wouldn't have had it any other way. The food was also incredible, and everyone was raving out it. Our family and friends also really enjoyed their stays and were raving about how immaculate and comfortable this hotel is! The Delamar West Hartford is without a doubt the best place in all of CT to have an event, and we would do it all over again if we could!!!

  Amazing Experience!

  We were so thrilled with our wedding at the Delamar this summer! From our first meeting with Erin to our wedding day, I always felt like she had thought through all of the details. The ballroom and dance floor were the perfect size for our 165-person wedding. We loved the combination of indoor and outdoor spaces for cocktail hour and beautiful décor of the hotel. Our tasting was incredibly delicious and it gave us peace of mind to walk through the wedding day with Erin and Debbie. It felt like we were their only priority and we never felt like a burden checking in on the smallest of details. They were able to customize the menu design for us to resemble our invitation and the signature drinks were a big hit. Erin and Debbie really went above and beyond to make our day stress-free, from greeting us with our signature drinks as we arrived for the reception to setting us up with a private plate of delicious hor devours at the start of cocktail hour. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and friendly. It was incredibly helpful that they set up and took down all of our décor and brought our gifts to our room at the end of the night. We ended the night with an afterparty at the tavern, and Debbie walked around handing out slippers to anyone with sore feet! Overall, we could not have been happier with our choice of the Delamar!!

  Delightful Delamar

  The majority of our guests were visiting from out-of-state and stayed in the hotel; we received so many comments about how lovely of an experience it was for them start to finish . It was personalized, unique and beautiful, which one may not necessarily expect from a hotel as a wedding venue. We received tons of compliments about the food, citing “the best wedding food they have ever had.”
  
  As hosts, the experience was even more enjoyable. My parents are in Chicago and were apprehensive about how feasible it would be for them to be involved in the planning and execution. Erin Neagle was our primary point of contact and was, hands down, incredible to work with— so professional, kind, and enthusiastic. My parents felt heard and valued throughout the process.
  
  They flew out for the meal tasting and joined us, along with my mother-in-law, and it was such an unexpected highlight that we were not expecting (I’m not a foodie by any standard)— being able to taste the dishes, and talk to the chef, try the wines was such an elevated experience, making us all the more excited for the event itself.
  
  We also used the florist based in the hotel (I should note, an entirely separate business entity), who did a beautiful job with the centerpieces and florals. I didn’t feel the service and collaboration was nearly as client-oriented as the rest of the Delamar (which sets a very high standard) but ultimately were happy with the product.

  An exceptional all around experience

  More than a month later, my friends are still raving about our daughter's wedding reception that was held at the West Hartford Delamar. It was unanimous among our guests that it was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding. What's more, the Delamar takes your guests entree orders at the table, no choosing your entree a month in advance, very unique. The dessert, which is included, was absolutely lovely. A trio which included chocolate, creme brulee and a fruit sorbet; wonderfully delicious. What makes the Delamar so delightful, is that it is a beautiful hotel with staff that go above and beyond to make your experience at the hotel memorable, and dare I say perfect. Our wedding was in December, so the hotel was beautifully appointed for the Christmas holiday. Erin and Debbie made the process of planning the reception pleasurable and seamless. The tasting that is offered for the wedding menu selection is fabulous, an event in itself. While the bride and groom lived in Connecticut, 90% of our guests traveled to Connecticut for the wedding, most from Chicago. Consequently, we had a significant room block, which Diana was instrumental in helping us navigate. Everyone who stayed at the hotel said it was one of the nicest, if not the nicest hotel they have ever stayed in. Such an elegant venue, offering personal services and wonderful amenities. We were just so pleased with our experience. You simply can't go wrong in choosing the West Hartford Delamar.

  Delamar is perfection!!

  We had our wedding reception, after party, and brunch at the Delamar, and we couldn’t be happier with everything. From our very first meeting a year out, everything was seamless, easy, well-communicated, cohesive, and organized. The food at all events was phenomenal, the service was impeccable, and everyone spoke so highly of the extremely courteous and professional staff.
  
  I wish we could have another wedding just to party again at the Delamar! Thank you for everything! And special shout outs to Erin and Debbie for making our day so wonderful!!

  Everyone was so kind and responded to my many questions promptly. We had an amazing wedding day. Everything was so beautiful and classy. Our guests raved about the hotel and the food! Would definitely recommend this venue.

  Exceptional

  Choosing the Delamar as our venue was the best decision! The level of service at every level was exceptional from the initial inquiries to the day of and brunch the following day. Guests are still raving about the food, which was delicious. I can't recommend The Delamar enough as a perfect wedding venue.

  Wonderful place to have wedding reception!

  We were so pleased with our experience at the Delamar West Hartford for our wedding reception!! The staff truly went above and beyond, especially since we had our wedding during the pandemic. It was a pleasure working with Erin (Director of Catering). She is very responsive and professional. She helped us figure out how we could safely have our reception at the Delamar West Hartford. The food was outstanding, and our guests are still raving about how the meal was so delicious and unique. The hotel's decor is stunning and has great spots to take pictures. We highly recommend this venue!

  We had the wedding of our dreams at the Delamar! The entire team was a pleasure to work with. The hotel is stunning, the cocktail hour space was perfect, the food was phenomenal, and the ballroom was a dream. The room itself is beautiful, but can be transformed into whatever your desired wedding aesthetic may be. Highly, highly recommend considering the Delamar as your wedding venue.

  Exceeded Expecations!

  We recently got married at the Delamar in December and there's not one thing we would change. We live right in West Hartford but knew we would have a lot of out of town guests, so it was really important to us to make sure that we picked a venue that our guests would like since they would be spending a weekend there.
  
  From the moment we first contacted the Delamar about our wedding date until the day of, everything went extremely smooth. At our first meeting with Erin to look at the venue, I had about 50 questions, which she answered right away and we gave a deposit at the end of that initial meeting - that's how much we loved it!
  
  Not only is the Delamar right in the center of Hartford, which is ideal for many reasons (rehearsal dinner, having out of town guests stay that can make use of the downtown, etc), but it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. We considered going to Elizabeth Park for pictures but ended up staying at the Delamar and doing all of our pictures outside the ceremony room and in the garden and they came out stunning. It is also extremely convenient that they have a retail shop for a Florist right in the lobby because we ended up going with that florist (Lane and Lenge) so all wedding planning ended up being very easy and convenient as everything was in one spot.
  
  Throughout the process, the entire team was beyond friendly and helpful - we had a ton of questions between wedding day decor, extending the room block, etc, and all of our interactions were very pleasant. We never had a meeting or email that left us frustrated or like we weren't getting exactly what we wanted.
  
  The tasting was a pleasant surprise - I was fully expecting it to be something with another group of couples, but our tasting was just us two with our wedding coordinator. We asked to make some small changes to a couple of the items we chose and it was no issue. And my husband asked for his meal to be different from the meals we chose to be on the menu that night and they had no problem accomodating that! He also asked for specific beers to be brought in and they were also able to accomodate that request - our guests even commented on the great drink selections after the wedding!
  
  I am sure that I am missing many other examples of how the entire staff at the Delamar went above and beyond from the first time we went to see the venue to the day of our actual wedding - but we really cannot say enough good things. I HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue - from management & the staff, to the location, to how picturesque it is - it is a perfect place for your wedding day!

  Beyond our expectations!

  My daughter & son in law were married at The Delamar West Hartford last Saturday. It was absolutely everything we had hoped for and more! You will NOT be disappointed if you have your wedding here.
  
  We researched a few other shoreline locations but nothing compared to The Delamar - both in appearance and value.
  
  We worked with Cieara primarily throughout 13 months of planning and she is FANTASTIC. She responded to our many emails promptly and always was helpful and cheerful. Anything we needed the Delamar was able to provide. The service is amazing.
  
  The room block went smoothly and all our guests were in awe of the beautiful hotel and amenities. Everyone commented on how nice and accommodating the staff was. Amanda, Gabby & Arzeena were all helpful iin keeping us abreast of our room block count and guest lists.
  
  The day of we were lucky to have Angie as our point person. She is very professional and everything worked like clockwork. We never once had to worry about anything. She handled all the coordination of vendors, food, decor, etc. It was so nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy the day!! Angie and the staff were so attentive to the bride/groom making their day extra special.
  
  The service was top notch. The food was excellent. The bartenders and wait staff were so professional. There were never lines (we did add an extra bar) and the food service was on schedule all night.
  
  Every single person who worked at the Delamar was so nice. They all seemed genuinely happy for the bride/groom and families.
  
  We had a suite for my daughter to get ready the morning of the wedding. Alberto was so helpful the night before and the day of, helping unload the cars and bring the many things we brought up to the rooms. Anything we needed he made sure we had.
  
  Having the reception at the Delamar where guests could stay over was the best decision- it was a weekend long event. We had an after party at World of Beer and everyone was able to easily walk to and from. The morning after the groom's parents graciously hosted a brunch at the Delamar that was equally as delicious and professionally staffed.
  
  The Delamar may be new to the Hartford area but it will quickly become a favorite spot for weddings. Book it while you still can - you will have nothing but positive memories!!

  Best Day Ever

  We recently had our wedding at The Delamar in June, and we had an amazing experience. From the beginning, the planning process was seamless, so we knew we were in good hands. On the day of, the food, service, etc. were above and beyond our expectations. Our guests came up to us afterwards saying it was the best beef they've ever had at a wedding. We could not be more pleased with our venue choice. A special shoutout to Cieara, Angie, Gabrielle, and the entire staff at Artisan for being so fantastic throughout the entire planning process and on the day of. We are still dreaming of our magical day!

  Absolutely wonderful!

  My wedding at the Delamar West Hartford was absolutely perfect. The venue is not only beautiful but the whole wedding planning was easy and wonderful. It was a pleasure working with the staff at the hotel and I highly recommend them and the venue to anyone looking to get married! The food was delicious as well and my day was just perfect. Ciara and Angie are the best! It was easy and relaxing because they were so accommodating.

  I cannot say enough good things about the Delamar. My husband and I were lucky enough to find the Delamar through wedding wire and thank God we did. From the moment we entered the hotel for the tour we knew. Every second of our experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were so inviting and helpful. The staff made every step memorable. We still talk about what a fun time we had at our tasting. The days and weeks leading up to the wedding are understandably stressful. We were lucky to have a venue with such knowledgable and compassionate staff. They eased our minds and nerves. Every detail of our wedding day was perfect. The aesthetic beauty of the venue is truly only the beginning of the experience. The food, the event staff, the hotel staff, even the valets were amazing. Our guests have not stopped complimenting the venue. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our wedding amazing.

  Outstanding hotel with incredible staff! After looking at numerous locations for our wedding, we found the Delamar West Hartford. Throughout the entire planning process, the Delamar staff made everything easy. Not once did we have a concern about the wedding. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, food was outstanding, the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous - an outstanding experience all around! Special recognition goes out to Cieara and Angie who help us plan the wedding, Alex M. for running the bar, Arzeena and the entire front desk staff for handling the rooms, and the bellboys/valets who took care of our guests. Alex made sure we always had a drink, and Angie made sure everything went smoothly the night of the event (including making sure we took time to eat).   World-Class Experience.

  You cannot even begin to imagine how amazing both your wedding and the whole planning period leading up to it will be if you choose The Delamar West Hartford.
  Before getting to the Delamar West Hartford during our wedding planning, we had visited and toured more than 20 venues. None were quite right for what we wanted, so we had decided to just have an outdoor ceremony and reception in a park and rent everything. We were only visiting the Delamar West Hartford at that point because we wanted to have a cocktail hour for people to meet up at before the ceremony, not knowing they did weddings, but as soon as we get there, everything changed. Admittedly, it was really the food menu in the packet that got us. We knew how beautiful it was from past visits to The Artisan :-).
  When we got to the tasting, it only confirmed that we made a great decision in switching. It was a beautiful experience for us, and our parents, with everything prepared as beautifully as it was on the day of our wedding. For months after the wedding, guests have continued telling us how spectacular the food was at every course, and how amazing the service was from all staff.
  What was really most memorable for us, however, was how wonderful Angie was all throughout our wedding. We had a great team leading us through all the details and logistics of the wedding day, but when it comes down to it, there's always one more thing you need. I never had to struggle to find Angie when we had a question, and she was there to support us with everything we didn't even think about needing (e.g. an appetizer plate while we were greeting everyone!).
  If you choose the Delamar West Hartford and the Artisan Catering, you will love every last detail of your wedding. From valet parking, to the hotel rooms, to the menus and gardens, there's absolutely nothing that could be more perfect.

  Although we did not use the Ballroom for our wedding, I highly recommend you check it out. It is absolutely beautiful!

  An incredible venue inside and out

  The Delamar West Hartford was an incredible venue for our wedding. The amenities were great and our guests loved staying at the hotel - the rooms are truly stunning. They even upgraded our room for the night of the wedding which was such a nice surprise. We really enjoyed working with the Delamar team. April and Diana were extremely helpful for the room block and Marisa was helpful throughout planning and day of. The food and cocktails were delicious and we will continue to frequent the Artisan. The tavern was a great spot for drinks after the reception. Would recommend the Delamar to anyone looking for a beautiful venue in the Hartford area!

  Excellent Service, beautiful venue

  The Delamar was very easy to work with. The staff was always kind and helpful and responded very quickly. They offer amazing add on services to ensure your event is exactly how you picture it!   The most exceptional wedding day!

  Our Delamar wedding was absolutely perfect! The ease, beauty and elegance of the venue was like no other. The food was incredible and nothing like a traditional wedding meal. All of our guests had an amazing time and we are so happy we get to go back to the place we got married every year and celebrate with dinner at the Artisan. No other venue would have been able to give us exactly what we wanted for our most perfect day!
