We had our wedding at The Delafield Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about it! The event staff was incredibly organized and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Gina, the event manager was quick to respond to every email and question throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, she made sure everything was taken care of so I didn’t have to stress about a thing. The entire hotel staff was kind and accommodating, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our special day and highly recommend The Delafield Hotel to any couple planning their wedding! -

We could not have imagined a better place to have our wedding than at The Delafield Hotel! It was so wonderful working with Gina throughout the process. Her and the team at the hotel made everything as least stressful as it could be. She was so detailed with how we wanted the whole day to flow and the timing of everything. All we heard from guests was that the food was simply amazing and the overall atmosphere was really great!
We loved being able to stay Friday and Saturday night and get ready at the hotel Saturday morning in our suite. It was so nice being able to take pictures in multiple different unique locations, ID Bar, the wine room, various lobby areas, the top part of the hotel overlooking the city, and multiple places outside around the hotel. It made taking pictures and not having to worry about transportation a breeze.
I could not recommend more getting married or having a special event at the Delafield Hotel! You will have an amazing time and all your guests will go home having amazing food and drinks! -

Everything about our experience with the Delafield Hotel was fantastic. Gina was extremely responsive while planning and attentive on the day; she really helped make our day perfect! All of the staff were extremely kind and set everything up with care. The food was wonderful, and their packages, included decor, and on site pastry chef, made it easy to work within our budget without sacrificing style. We were so happy to not require a bunch of outside vendors; it was so simple to have (almost) everything in-house! The fish hatchery down the road was a great place to take photos, and getting up to the bell tower at sunset was beautiful. -

Best experience and catered to our unique plans and needs
We had the best experience, from the early detailed decisions to making it all come to life on the day of. Gina, the venue coordinator, was so lovely to work with - she was organized, had thorough communication, and was patient walking us through all the details. We heard so many kind words from our guests (and we feel the same!) about the ballroom, the food and dessert, and the hotel rooms all being so special. Everyone had an amazing weekend, us included. -

Gina Shaw and the rest of the staff at The Delafield Hotel were an absolute dream to work with. We got married on May 3, 2025 and cannot stop smiling. From the minute we stepped foot inside the lobby we felt seen, heard and were wowed beyond belief. On our initial tour, every single question I didn’t know I had was answered and that was what sealed the deal for us. The venue itself is so charming and elegant that every other piece of decor is just a bonus. Gina was informative, quick to respond and was there for us every step of the way. Her, Kameron and every other staff member set up all of our decor and did so flawlessly. The whole day was perfect thanks to their hard work and attention to all of my detailed ideas! The food was the best wedding food I have ever had, our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour apps, drinks and great dinner service. Gina and Kameron even left us a plate of each flavor of our wedding cupcakes and a bottle of champagne in our honeymoon suite the night of the wedding! We even got to take photos in the bell tower! These small touches and details really swept us off our feet and my husband and I can’t stop talking about our perfect day. You will not be disappointed choosing The Delafield Hotel for your wedding day or event! -

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Delafield Hotel on 11/2 and we truly could not have asked for a better venue. We were able to fully enjoy our day because the staff took care of everything for us! The ballroom was beautiful and setup exactly how we pictured it and we could not be more thankful. Kameron and the whole banquet team were truly incredible to work with. She was very responsive and professional and she answered every question I had in a timely manner. We had 200+ guests, and she did a great job helping us utilize the space to ensure everyone was comfortable. The drinks and food were AMAZING and we got so many compliments from guests on how delicious their meals were. We cannot recommend The Delafield Hotel enough! -

We got married 9/14 at Delafield and had such a beautiful event. A huge selling point for booking this venue was the availability of the staff on site to make sure the day went smooth. Being able to drop off our decorations early and have them all set up for us the morning of relieved so much stress off of us over the week of the wedding. The food is divine, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. Kameron was very communicative with us throughout the process if we had any questions and was able to help us run through our rehearsal the day before our wedding. Being able to take photos up in the bell tower is also a plus. Overall, my husband and I could not have expected a better day. -

My husband and I are obsessed with The Delafield Hotel’s aesthetic. It fit perfectly with the moody and cozy vibe that we wanted for our wedding, with a touch of vintage. The ballroom was perfect for our wedding size of about 140 and Hannah was amazing to work with. She was super organized and we felt supported the whole way through! Plus the food was unbelievably amazing. So delicious! We had such a wonderful day & enjoyed the gorgeous and sprawling bridal suite, too. -

The Delafield Hotel was a perfect venue for our wedding reception. The hotel is extremely classy both inside and out and the service was tremendous from the time we booked our reception to the end of our wedding day. We also had many compliments on the delicious food and drinks provided from the hand passed hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktail, dinner entrees and especially the late-night soft pretzels with cheese. Hannah the venue coordinator was extremely helpful all the way through the process and even went above and beyond on the reception day even taking us up to the bell tower for photos twice so we could enjoy the beautiful sunset over Delafield. This venue may look pricier upfront but with the package price laid out nicely at the start it is a lot more value and less hassle than others and is 100% worth it to avoid so many headaches that we have seen with friends and families’ weddings and the Delafield hotel allowed us to have the best day ever. The event staff also had a bottle of our champagne on ice and two pieces of our cakes showcased and prepared for us in our room. My wife and I loved the hotel and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue. -

We were so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception at the Delafield Hotel. The space is classic and sophisticated, and it requires minimal decor for an elegant event. Little touches such as the lobby screen displaying our pictures, having drinks set at the head table, and having hors d'oeuvres and signature drinks passed during cocktail hour made our wedding feel personal and luxurious, and I credit that completely to the hard work of the staff and their attention to detail.
The value of this venue is unmatched, and I appreciated the clarity of pricing and cost upfront. We worked in the Glamorous package, but were able to make customizations like hosting our signature drink at the bar all night long. We have seen that other venues charge extra for wine pours, champagne toasts, linens, cake cutting, etc., and the fact that this was all included and laid out in our package cost was so helpful and a better value than other places you could choose. While the initial sticker cost may be higher than other venues, what you get for that dollar amount cannot be beat. Plus, many of our guests have claimed this was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding!
Hannah, our event manager, was wonderful to work with, and she made sure that our vision came to life and kept things running smoothly. One of our favorite moments of our wedding day was taking photos and reading our private vows up in the bell tower. This is a truly special and unique moment you can only get here.
The Delafield Hotel makes planning your wedding as easy as possible, and the value of service is unmatched – we have absolutely no concerns or complaints. My husband and I have such great memories of our wedding day, and we would confidently recommend the Delafield Hotel to anyone looking for a reception venue. -

Flexible, delicious food and drinks
Very flexible to move the wedding multiple times during covid. Price was low compared to other vendors we looked at and what we got for the price was unmatched.
The food at both the wedding and ID were delicious. I have a culinary background and the flavors they created, the consistency in the cooking, and the presentation of food was unmatched. They made a blackberry sweet brandy old fashion for us that was a better version of a bar in town.
The whole hotel was rented by our friends and family. We were able to start the party on Thursday at the bar in ID, continue it into Friday at the rehearsal, then Saturday for the reception and late night bar drinking in ID. Our bartender, Dye, in ID was the best. Handle the goofy friends and family we had like a champ.
Highly recommend this group. Thanks for making our experience all we had hoped for. -

Accommodating and PERFECT Experience
We were a lucky couple to get married during COVID. Not only did the team at the Delafield allow us to push the wedding from 2020 to 2021, but allowed a second push to 2022 so we were able to have EVERYONE join us in our celebration.
We ended up renting the entire hotel for all of our wedding guests to stay and enjoy the late reception as well as the bar in ID. We held our rehearsal dinner at ID which has INCREDIBLE food. Even 6 months later my family is still commenting on the food we had.
I was silly enough to make almost all of my table pieces, place cards, etc. Hannah set everything up the day of the wedding exactly as we talked about. I cannot say enough things about the hotel staff. The wedding was perfect, honestly, I cannot think of anything I would change.
Well, one thing. I wish we could do it over and over as it was so special and out of this world.
Thank you to ALL of the Delafield Hotel staff. Shout out to Dye at the ID bar, she is the BEST bartender! -

My husband and I live in Delafield and we knew we wanted to share the charm of this town with our family and friends for our wedding. Working with Hannah and the team at the Delafield Hotel was a dream from start to finish. They were professional, kind, and incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. Kim and the booking team made sure that our family who spent the night had gorgeous accommodations and everyone raved about the size of the rooms -- and the rain showers! The food was amazing -- several people came up to our sweetheart dinner just to tell us that it was the best steak they've ever had. Overall we couldn't be happier with how seamless everything went. All of our guests had a great night and the little touches like passed champagne, the midcentury modern decor, and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made such an impact. The secret to what makes this venue so unique? Getting to go up on the tower for pictures at sunset. It was truly unforgettable. -

Stress relief!
My husband and I highly recommend selecting the Delafield hotel! Hannah, the coordinator, is extremely thorough and helpful. All of the details were planned well, and they worked with vendors (especially Magnolia Floral)!. Weddings are normally incredibly stressful, but I was able to relax a bit when it came to the venue and food because everyone was detailed-oriented and extremely competent. The building is also gorgeous, and photographed so well. The food is also incredible. The hotel is located in a really cute area as well. Out of town guests will have plenty to do. -

We had our wedding reception at the Delafield hotel and it was amazing! We wanted a “one stop” venue with in house catering, space, tables, chairs, linens, they even had table numbers and some decor pieces included in the package. The space is gorgeous and we got so many complements on the amazing food. The event staff was very organized and easy to communicate with. It made our day so easy and wonderful! Oh, and their pastry chef even made our cake which was also a guest favorite! If you’re looking for the convenience of a hotel but don’t want something quite so expected- highly recommend the Delafield hotel! -

We got married in November 2020 and all I can say is amazing things about this place! Hannah kept us on track the entire way on planning the wedding and even helped with suggestions with changing things up with Covid. Kim and the entire staff at Delafield made our dream wedding come true. I was an out of state bride and I had limited time to come back to Wisconsin to plan. I had looked at 6 venues when I was visiting, and Delafield Hotel was second on my list that day. After five minutes sitting with Kim I knew The Delafield Hotel was going to be my venue. Food and Bev on site, an amazing remodel that showcases an elegant and classy day, coat check, and valet parking, but at a price that is affordable. I was blown away. Communication with Kim was probably the easiest part of my wedding planning process. She returned my calls or my emails within the workday, she was always pleasant and funny, and I really felt like I had a bond with her during my 20 month engagement. When my wedding day came, Kim was there for all of it, assisting me, double checking everything, she even came to me during my reception and ordered me to eat dinner before i passed out. I truly loved working with Kim. She is an amazing wedding professional. I will recommend The Delafield Hotel to EVERYONE. -

The Delafield Hotel was spectacular in every way! Kim was outstanding to work with. She was organized, professional, and gave great feedback. She let us organize the wedding the way we wanted, but made helpful suggestions to make sure things stayed on track.
We used the grand ballroom for our ceremony and reception. We used the Cushing Room and foyer area for cocktail hour while the grand ballroom was being flipped from the ceremony to the reception. It worked out really well for our wedding and it was so nice to have everything in one place! Oh, and the food was INSANELY DELICIOUS!!
The hotel itself is GORGEOUS! The staff were polite and professional. We had our wedding around Christmas so everything in the hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The hotel rooms are stunning. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but it's worth the cost knowing you're getting a luxurious experience. I would highly recommend getting one of the Signature Suites or the Noble Suite for the wedding party. The rooms are huge so there's definitely enough space for a bigger bridal party. It's great for getting ready and having the photographers snap a few pictures before the ceremony.
My husband and I definitely made the right decision to have our wedding here. -

Bailey was amazing at ID - she fully accommodated our budget and made everything work. We even requested food that want on the menu for our rehearsal dinner and they made it work. There was so much food, and everything tasted so good.
Kim and her staff at the Delafield Hotel made our day so wonderful. She stayed in contact with me from the time we booked, until after the wedding as a follow up. Our dinners were amazing, and the cake was incredible! Our guests are still calling/texting us telling us how impressed they were. Kim made sure that our day was perfect, and not one thing went wrong.
I could not be more pleased with the way everything turned out for us. I would HIGHLY recommend The Delafield Hotel to anyone looking for a wedding venue. I'll never forget how perfect everything was, and I have Kim, Bailey, and everyone at The Delafield Hotel to thank for that!!! -

Amazing coordination and execution the entire day and leading up to our wedding!!! All my guests said how smooth the day went and it was all due to Gina and her staff.
