Deja Vu Was incredible ! Monika was such a blessing to have! She kept the mood calm and light on my wedding day ! She made the whole process very enjoyable and was just overall excellent! Jorge, the videographer had a great vision and was great to work with. Dominic was so upbeat and very fun to work with ! Cannot recommend them enough !

Deja Vu Studios Review

Our Photographer Monika is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I can honestly say her and her team made our day. She is very fun to work with and was compassionate about making sure my husband and I were happy the entire night. She came to the house where me and my bridesmaids were getting ready, and from what I can already tell- she took some amazing/creative pictures. I love that fact that she can create beautiful ideas on the go as she's working, she has a true talent, Déjà vu Studios is very lucky to have her on their team! She is super friendly and easy to talk to (as always) and her assistant, Michael was super cool, funny and attentive. He was constantly fixing/prepping me and the lighting for the pictures, he definitely a vital part of the team!!
-The videographer- George, definitely got some amazing footage of everything that went on that entire day/night, we are so excited to see what he puts together. His instructions were clear and easy to follow and make he made us feel like celebrities for the day!
-Our second photographer: Marianna was great with the guys, she was patient and professional. My Husband said she was great when it came to taking pictures at the house where the groomsmen were getting ready. When I met her at the Church I knew she was great to work with right away!
-Throughout the night, working with such an amazing team made us feel relieved. Monika knew we were tight on time and she knew my Husband was annoyed as some points because he wanted to get to cocktail hour, she was able to talk him off the ledge lol and we were able to enjoy a little of cocktail hour. I originally thought we were never making it to cocktail hour because of little time, but she made it happen and got great pictures beforehand! Monika was flawless with her timing every step of the day/night- From the house to the church to the venue, we were always able to get plenty of pictures of everything and didn't have to be pulled away. She is soooo kind and fun to hang out with! We are super excited to see all of our photos/video, I can honestly say the Deja Vu Studios team made our night!

Amazing Experience

Deja Vu Photographers are amazing. We met with Alan after a recommendation from my sister. The pictures speak for themselves. Obviously we knew how great they were after my sister's wedding, so we didn't even look anywhere else. We had Brian take our engagement pictures and each and everyone was so beautiful! Not only that, he made us feel super comfortable during something that can be kind of awkward. On the day of the wedding, Brian and the entire crew worked SO HARD making sure that everyone was posed correctly, running around adjusting lighting and moving objects in and out of shots. They were literally working from 2pm until the end of the wedding- I don't think they had a moment to stop! Alan (the owner) even came to our wedding and shot some video!! I thought that was really cool. We splurged and got 2 photographers and 2 videographers and I am so glad we did because the day goes by in such a blur that the pictures and videos are the only things that help you hold on to the day! We picked up our album a few weeks ago and it was just incredible. Highly recommend Deja Vu to any bride and groom looking to capture their day!!

Fun & easy-going photographers!

We hired Deja Vu Studios for photography and videography during our September 2019 wedding in Manhattan. Alan's team made our wedding super fun and stress-free! Dominick (photographer), Maria (photographer), and Pete (videographer) were the best! They were so creative, kind, and funny -- I rarely had to pose a smile because I was laughing so much. The whole family loved them. They kept our group efficient and organized -- we finished photos and got to the church 30 minutes early! When does that ever happen??

They were also very flexible and accommodating, taking the ferry with us between the ceremony and reception. We got some great content thanks to their ideas! The final photos and video are just beautiful. We've shared the photos will all our family and friends, and the wedding video makes us laugh so hard. We really didn't want stuffy, too-formal photos and video, so they did a great job of keeping everything fun and light!

Nothing short of incredible

This team has been nothing short of incredible for our big day! We worked with an amazing photographer and lighting assistant who were more than willing to shoot any photos i was asking for! We loved their photos every time they were being displayed in a venue we visited. Booking with them was easy and delightful! Alan, Monika, Mike and the team there will make sure your dreams come true! They were an essential part to our wedding day that made sit that much more enjoyable. Booking them was the best decision we made ! Our photos are magical, timeless, and unique to us. They will be all over our home for the rest of our lives, and shown to everyone who enters our home! if I could do it all over again we would choose them again and again. I cant wait to have another special event to have them for the photography.

Exceeded Expectations

Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone at Deja Vu Studios. Alan made us feel so comfortable when we went in that we knew we had to work with him. The team at deja vu did not disappoint. Monika was there from the engagement photos, my bridal shower and the big day. Each step of the way she made us so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured so many wonderful moments leading up to the wedding and we cannot wait to see our wedding photos. We had an amazing team on the day of the wedding that paid attention to every detail, supported us and captured every detail. Amazing experience!!

Mike was our main Photographer who had done our engagement shoot and our wedding! He was a lot of fun to work with and had great ideas for our pictures. During the engagement shoot he made sure that we got all the photo opportunities possible regardless of the time that it took. He stayed with us through the sunset to get those pictures and we were so grateful!
During our wedding he worked well with the videographer to get the shots that were necessary. He was so creative and made us feel comfortable and have fun throughout the whole day. We were rushing to beat the rain after the ceremony and he organized the photos well to make sure we got them in before it rained. He was working all through cocktail hour – making sure he got the pictures we wanted and would check in with us throughout the night to make sure we got all the pictures with all the people that were needed. We did not do the reveal which made it tough on time but he made the best of it and made sure we got all the pictures (weather permitting) to allow us to make it to the end of cocktail hour. We did have an extended cocktail hour which also helped.
All his hard work paid off because our photos are beautiful! There are so many photos to choose from even without the reveal! They are also really great to work with in the post wedding time like when making your album and thank yous! Alan and Barbara are a pleasure to talk to and they really want to make sure that you are happy and receive the products you want. They are always available to be contacted, which brides know is very important! We have not finalized our album yet however we know that it will come out just the way we want it and we are in great hands!
We used Déjà Vu Studios for our video as well. There were not many reviews about their videos when we decided to book but we wanted to go with the same vender to make things easy and I am so glad we did! Our videographer was a behind the scenes kind of guy but he always made sure he was there for the important shots! 3 weeks following our wedding we got an email requesting song selections for our wedding video and our finalized video was ready about 8 weeks later! We just received the video and the trailer and it was like reliving the day all over again! We were torn whether we wanted a video and we are so happy we decided to do it because it is a great thing to have! The video did exactly what we wanted it to do. We wanted to see the moments we missed during the day and the moments we wanted to relive again and it did just that!

Best photography on the island

A huge thank you to the WHOLE team at Deja Vu Studios. Stop looking at any other place and book an appointment with them! My husband and I are beyond thankful to have had them take our wedding pictures and do our video. They are nothing but professional and personal. And that makes all the difference. It is hard to find people who genuinely care about you as a couple and want to make something so personal to you! And that is them. Beyond grateful, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 10/10 I cannot say enough about Déjà vu. We had two photographers, an assistant, and a videographer. Our main photographer was Monika. If you have Monika just know she will go above and beyond for you! She was AMAZING!!!!!!! Our second photographer was David and he was amazing as well and really understood how to work with the kids and get them to be in the photo and out the next moment. He helped us avoid numerous meltdowns! Our videographer was Tom, and he was very cool and calm. And our assistant! He was an expert fluffer of my gown and veil! He made sure I didn’t drag my dress everywhere and made sure every shot was perfect. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better team!! Also we were running late to the gardens for our photos and they were non-stop calling the office to make sure they stayed open. They pulled up to the other gate and caught the girl in time (our permit was set to start after they closed). They made us feel so at ease with everything, and never once made us feel as if we made the wrong choice. We cannot wait to get our photos back!

I got married May 12, 2018 and we had Deja Vu Studios as our photographer. They were amazing! We had Brian as our main photographer who also did our save the dates and he is so friendly and great to work with. The whole Deja Vu team that came with him on our wedding day were all so friendly and made sure they captured every special moment of our day. Our bridal party loved all of the Deja Vu team and how they made them laugh and feel so comfortable during the long day. They really have an eye for getting the perfect picture. Having them for our wedding was a great choice! We are very happy with them and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

From the time we set foot into Deja Vu offices until they handed us our completed wedding album; Alan and his team were first class, professional and treated us with the most respect! The team have their fingers on the pulse for amazing and modern photography. Their staff listened to our wishes, made suggestions and use top of the line equipment to make those memories last forever! Their attention to detail is what we loved the most, they took such pride and care in our wedding DVD's, photo albums and constant communication. We never felt abandoned because they always got back to us via phone or email quickly. Most businesses in today's industry dont do that. We highly recommend Deja Vu for your special day!

The level of service and quality with Deja Vu's photography and cinematography significantly exceeded my expectations. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we took the most fabulous photos and have an unforgettable video. Specifically, the staff is extremely talented, not once behind the lens but the level of interaction, customer service, and care was felt by every member of the wedding. They specifically were able to work well with the kids in the wedding as well, getting them to smile and laugh while taking photos.

If you are still looking for a Photographer or Videographer for your wedding, please read read this review. Working with Déjà Vu was one of the best decisions we did for our wedding. They are professional, always responsive & they fantastic to work with!
I’m in LOVE with the wedding photos and video (I probably look at the pictures everyday!). The quality & clarity of the pictures and videos are stunning. From beginning to end the Déjà Vu team was excellent, professional and lovely to work with. I can’t say enough how great they are! We were so lucky to have found a vendor that superseded our expectations. I feel one of the lucky brides who had neither drama nor problems with what I think is the most important thing of the wedding. The reality is that it takes a long time to plan the “Big Day” and it goes by too fast, but watching our wedding video made us re-live that day (over and over again hehe) . My husband & I absolutely love our edits and we both agree that it was the best investment we did. We cant’ thank the Déjà Vu team enough for their impeccable work! AMAZING! My husband and I used Deja Vu Studios for our engagement shoot in 2015, our wedding in 2016 and our pregnancy announcement in 2017! Their entire team has been nothing short of amazing. We booked everything Alan, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is extremely professional and made our experience so pleasant. We did our engagement shoot and our wedding with Brian and his team. Our pictures (and video for our wedding) were BEAUTIFUL and we could not have asked for anything more. I adored working with Deja Vu studios. They did my wedding and engagement photos and I would completely recommend them. First of all they were just nice people. Which in the wedding industry I found rare ! Pleasant to deal with. Gorgeous office. Pleasant and easy to reach. Second of all they were one stop shopping -
High quality photos and video and a photo booth with cute props. I was very thorough in my research - I must have looked at 50 photographers seriously. And I chose them because I loved their product. It was a perfect balance of photo memory montage and artistry and still old school portraiture. Some of these mod hipster people only take like the bottom of your shoe and a close up of a candle to set the mood but not your 88 year old great grandma. They understood the point ! And what people want ! And they were very punctual. Everything we were promised we got. I would use them in the future. Alan is a nice guy ! Monica was an absolute beyond doll - love love loved her. She felt like family and my family all felt at ease with her.and the photo booth was such a hit !!! People went nuts over it. A and I loved how at the end of the wedding the photo booth presented us with an entire adorable album of every single photo - which we promptly took to the after party and enjoyed ! And they gave us an extra photo of each to give out ! How cool. My photos are a dream and it was important to me to entrust that to trustworthy good people - deja vu !

Deja Vu Studios is an excellent choice for your event. As the mother of the bride this past year I cannot say enough about the quality, professionalism and extra care taken for my daughter's wedding photography. The owner, Alan, even met with the bride and groom out of state in Massachusetts to begin the process. His knowledge made them feel comfortable and his explanations of his company and what they could expect for engagement photos, wedding photos, videos etc. was spot on! His team on wedding day was friendly and made us all feel comfortable as they moved about seamlessly the entire day. They knew exactly what needed to be done for the most amazing shots all day -- pre-wedding, bridal suite, outdoor photos, daytime, nighttime --- they were all fabulous! Deja Vu even went above and beyond by delivering videos and albums personally to my home on Long Island timely so we could make a surprise delivery to the bride and groom in Massachusetts!! They were always available for questions and communication was not a problem. The quality of service and personal extra care taken by this vendor is what makes them top-notch! I would strongly recommend them for any event --- the proof is in the outstanding albums and videos we now have forever!!! Tremdous kudos to you --- Deja Vu!!!

After hunting all over for the right photographer, that had quality at an affordable price, I finally came across Deja Vu! I met Alan at the Oheka castle wedding expo, and after setting up a meeting to see what we would be getting, we were set! On the day of my wedding, the crew was just amazing. My husband and his groomsman had an absolute blast with their photographer, and all of the photographers/videographers were able to capture the essence of our amazing day. You can see some of my images pictured in the above collage of images- I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer, not just for their wedding, but for any special event! We had a wonderful experience working with Deja Vu for our wedding on 8/12/16. Alan was extremely helpful with planning everything we needed to do and responded quickly to all of my emails. My Husband and I can't say enough good things about this studio. We went in expecting one thing and came out in shock on what they actually provided. We told them we wanted to really enjoy our wedding but we also wanted to have many pictures to look back on..... this was achieved. The photographers that came to the bride house was so respectful and kind they took some of the most amazing pictures I have every see. When we went to pick up our photos we saw every moment that they captured was beautiful. We had so many photo's to choose from. So from this Bride and Groom, we tell you if you want beautiful photos of the most memorable time of your life.... then Deja Vu Studios is the way to go. yes the price may seem a lot but in the end you get what you pay for and no one can put a price on your memories or happiness...

I want to have another wedding just so I can use Deja Vu Studios and David/Tom again. We were a little weary about the price when we booked, but we had seen the work and our venue recommended them so we went for it. Let me tell you- I would spend every cent (and than some) over again!! David was AMAZING. He made everyone feel SO comfortable and made sure every part of our day, even if it wasn't photography related, was perfect. The running joke of the night was - everyone pinch each other's butts! to get us to laugh and genuinely smile again, even after hours of pictures. Tom, the videographer, was also great- and our wedding video captured every single moment beautifully- there is not one thing I can think of that he missed.

Working with Alan and the rest of the studio was easy, and I'd do it again. We have our album to finish- but I have no doubt in my mind that it will be just as perfect as everything else.

Looking forward to the next time I may be able to use Deja Vu Studios- they were truly spectacular.

Deja Vu Studios was above and beyond our expectations. We hoped for a perfect, cool September wedding, but unfortunately ended up with an extremely hot and humid day. The photographers were absolutely amazing and helped capture the moments perfectly, despite the sweat :-) They were all so professional and easy to work with, we felt like we have known them forever. Throughout the day and especially at the end of the night, the photographers made sure to ask us and the parents if there were any other specific pictures we would like to take so that nothing was left out. The pictures are absolutely GORGEOUS and we could not have asked for anything more. We can't wait to see our album!

My husband and I got married June 11th 2016 in Montauk NY. Friends of ours had used Deja Vu for their wedding and we loved how the pictures came out. We loved Alan from the day we met him. We met him in their office in Mineola where he showed us plenty of beautiful pictures and videos from previous weddings. Alan stayed in contact with us for a year and half before the wedding. He was always available to answer any questions we had. Alan and his crew came to Montauk the night before the wedding and captured amazing moments from the welcome party. The day of the event they arrived to take pictures early and got every great moment on camera and video. Naturally it rained the day of the wedding, the ceremony and reception were outside. Alan was so professional and kept me calm. They still managed to get every picture I wanted, missing no party time. Tom and Alan drove my husband and I to the lighthouse to takes pictures when the rain let up. Guests at my wedding complimented us numerous times on how nice and courteous they were. I have now watched my video over 10 times, everyone that comes over wants to watch it and loves it. Every part of the night that i wanted to see was on the video. I am still going through the pictures to decide which ones I want. I truly love all of them, I'm having a hard time choosing. I would recommend Deja Vu to anyone getting married, I already have!

My husband and I hired Deja vu studios for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our photos were perfect, our talented photographer Brian was personable and professional. Jen helped me with designing the wedding album which we love, it came out beautiful, and our videographer did an amazing job with the wedding video. Our wedding was two years ago, I still go to them for photo enlargements, they are always a pleasure to speak to and we're always happy with the results of their work!

We're using Deja Vu for videography only. They have been really helpful and flexible. On our initial contract they forgot to record our initial deposit, and then when they resent the contract it had another events date on it. With that being said, Deja Vu was very prompt to correct the error and extremely professional. I was very happy with how they addressed my concerns and corrected everything ASAP.

Flawless! Alan and the team at Deja Vu were incredible. We cannot thank them enough for not only having a killer team at our wedding to professionally take control making sure no photos were missed, but even every price of video was captured. In addition due to our reception location, their recommendation of a beautiful black horse and drone made the day and the pictures more than we could ever dream of. The team put together a same day edit which was played during dinner and every guest was so impressed and it left my bride and I speechless on how amazing this 3 minute video was put together of our morning and all events leading to dinner.
We would hands down recommend Deja Vu to anyone getting married!

If any bride or groom is even the slightest bit concerned about how their wedding pictures will turn out, look no further than DejaVu Studios. After growing up hearing the tragic story about how my parents' wedding photographer lost almost every snapshot from their wedding, I was extremely nervous about picking the right people to capture our day. We excitedly made an appointment to book Brian who we liked immediately and discuss additional details with Alan, whose expertise with this process and professionalism further cemented our decision to book both our photography and videography with DejaVu. On our wedding day, I didn't worry once about the pictures being taken around me. As the unofficial additional photographer for all of my friends and family members' weddings, this was an unprecedented accomplishment. My guests commented how polite the photographers and videographers were and how they "just seemed to be everywhere capturing every moment of the night." They made each photo request a reality time after time and put up with our rambunctious wedding party. When it was finally time to look at our pictures, Jen called me from the studio and sounded as excited as I was to check them out. We poured over the boxes of photos together and she gave me great suggestions on how the album could be arranged. The pictures are, in a word, exquisite. They managed to photograph every memorable second of the wedding in clear, gorgeous detail. By the time the video was ready to be picked up, I was nervous that it wouldn't measure up to the pictures, but I was completely and happily wrong. My husband and I laughed and gasped over the impeccably edited video, which our film major friend even had to admit, was perfection. The highlight reel still gives me chills because they matched our wedding song to the most perfect moments of our day, even matching the lyrics to when I was singing them in my husband's ear on our first dance. We truly can't recommend this establishment enough.

From the minute we sat down with Alan to discuss our big day we knew Deja Vu studios would be the right pick. Alan helped us build a great package that gave us everything we would want and showed us plenty of samples to help make decisions on albums, number of videographers, etc. Throughout the planning process the entire Deja Vu team was extremely responsive and helpful. In lieu of an engagement shoot we had one of the photographers that would be with us on the big day shoot my bridal shower and do a mini shoot with my husband and I so we could get comfortable With the photo processs. It was great because we were able to see the photos before the wedding day and give feedback on things we liked and didn't like, angles and shots to avoid and things we'd like to see more of. Having done this before the wedding day really helped make us feel ready and comfortable that day. Ahead of the wedding, the team asked for a list of must have pictures and I'm so happy they did- the day goes so fast and when we got a proofs back we had shots of everything we wanted. The day of the wedding brian, Monica, Alan and team really took over- they kept us on schedule despite some things that'd had us start later than planned and after the photo sessions were over they just blended in with our guests and captured every great moment. We are so happy with how our photos and video came out and would highly recommend that when searching for a team to capture your big day you meet with Deja Vu!

At Deja Vu, you are offered options and are treated like family. They provided thorough and detailed service to both my husband and I. video is the best!!! We used Deja Vu for just our video, using a family friend for photography. I was a little nervous about the videographer and photographer working together, but the professionalism was outstanding! I was so happy the videographer was willing and able to work with our family friend, it was truly amazing to see! The videographer asked before he left if there was anything else I needed to be videoed. I said actually there was and he had no problem staying given it was within our contracted time! I felt totally taken care of throughout the entire process!

The staff at Deja Vu Studios were amazing and very professional! We also used them for our engagement shoot that came out amazing as well. I liked that we were able to have the same photographer Mike for both events. He did such and amazing job that our friends who are getting married next year are going to book them!! Working with Deja Vu Studios and Alan, David (our photographer), their videographer, and their entire team was a DREAM. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in helping create the everlasting memories of our wedding in the form of photos, a video, albums, and picture gifts for our guests.

We cannot say enough about Deja Vu Studios and recommend them for every type of event you have that requires photography, videography, or graphic design.

Let me start from the beginning. My husband and I had a big wedding at a very fancy venue. Our guests were among some of the world's key players. We interviewed a few fancy NYC photographers and they all seemed to have major attitudes. We were worried that if we had to pose in front of someone with a big attitude or a big ego, we might not look natural or relaxed. We kept searching and searching and everywhere we went--from lighting vendors to cake vendors to band offices--we kept seeing photos taken by Deja Vu Studios. We became curious, and when both our florist and lighting designer recommended Deja Vu Studios in the same week, we had to check them out.

Deja Vu was a complete breath of fresh air. Alan and his team are humble, kind, gracious, prompt, and...the best part...they take PHENOMENAL photos. They are artists, lighting designers, directors, and masters of photography technique all wrapped in one. The photos we got from Deja Vu could literally be in a magazine--the lighting, artistic sense, and quality just exude grace and glamour. Oh--and since their prices are better than the snooty Manhattan photographers, we were able to buy more from them-- a longer video, an extra album, more prints, etc.
Deja Vu Studios far, far, far exceeded our expectations in every way. We will use them throughout our lives-- we plan to have Deja Vu photograph birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events for us for years to come. Thank you Deja Vu--we made the moment, but you made the memory.

Deja Vu Studios was amazing from beginning to end. The photographers/videographers we had on our wedding day were professional and personable, they made us feel extremely special on our big day and assisted in making the day go by stress-free. Upon receiving our proofs, we could not have been happier. The pictures came out great and they captured every possible moment of our day, even parts that we forgot even happened because of all the hype of the day. Next we got back our video which really put Deja Vu over the top for us. The video was incredible. We felt like we were part of a movie. We especially loved the extended highlight video which we were easily able to share with our family and friends. Last but not least we had our album done which we just received back and it is a keepsake that we will cherish forever. The work that was put into it really shows in the final product. The process of working with all of the staff at Deja Vu has been amazing as well as the products we received. If we could go back and do it all again we wouldn't change a thing.

When I met Alan at the bridal showcase at Sand castle, I saw how professional he was. The photos he had showcasing his work were amazing. I made an appointment to go see the studio and I was sold when I walked in. The photos they had on the wall were breathtaking, and there was a photo taken at the church were I was getting married that sealed the deal for me. The staff was nothing but professional and very patient especially in the short amount of time I had to plan my wedding. My bridal party and my husband and I felt very comfortable with the photographer and decided to book them again for my daughters christening. The photographer Brian knew what shots to take and asked me if I wanted to avoid taking any profile shots or anything I did not feel comfortable with. They were extremely nice and I couldn't be more happier with my photos and my wedding video.

Deja Vu Studios was great from start to finish. Being out of state, Allen met with my fiance and I via Skype. He went over all of the packages from start to finish and was patient with any questions that we had for him. As we got closer to the wedding, I spoke with Brian and we went over the wedding day schedule from start to finish. I was able to get the times and confirm when everyone should be arriving from the start of the day until the end. They both were great to work with. As the day came, the photographer, Mike, and his assistant were absolutely awesome. They were patient as I was scrambling around like a crazy person. Just as I went over with Brian, the pictures were done in almost the exact order. If I felt I missed a picture, Mike was super accommodating to take the picture in whatever I had asked for. They were so easy to work with and I have complete confidence some amazing pictures were taken.

My husband and I were married on July 12th 2014. We booked Déjà Vu Studios Studios one year prior to the wedding date and we are extremely happy with our decision. We first met Alan who was very informative and gave us a number of different options based on our budget. He was always very accommodating and always available to answer questions/concerns by email/phone. One of the features included in our package was our engagement shoot. Our photographer that day was Jose, he was a true professional and has a great vision when it comes to capturing photos. We felt extremely comfortable with him and our photos were awesome! We used our engagement photos to order our Save The Date Cards with Déjà Vu, which were a hit, all our guests loved them and we got a lot of compliments. After seeing Jose’s work, we requested him as one of our photographers for the wedding with Alan. Alan as always was able to accommodate us with that request.Deja Vu was very precise with all of the scheduled follow-ups prior to the wedding date. On our wedding day, we had 2 photographers, 2 videographers and an assistant. Bride and Groom each got ready in their separate homes, the entire crew arrived on time to both of our homes. The crew was with us for the entire day. They met us at our ceremony location, then the garden for pictures, and finally at our reception for the rest of the night. Throughout the whole day, they were helpful, even fixing my dress for photos, to make it look perfect. We recently picked up our proofs from Déjà Vu and all of our photos are absolutely stunning! Hiring a photographer for your wedding is such an important decision because they are capturing moments that you will cherish forever. We couldn’t have made a better decision when selecting our photographer/videographer. Thank you Déjà vu for helping us carry these special moments forever and allowing us to relive them. Dear Alan,

I don't even know where to begin. A tear comes to my eyes when I tell you how grateful I am that you and your team were there on my wedding day. Let me start with that I am never on time for anything. Mike and Scott immediately took control of the situation and everyone was shocked that I made to church on time. Although I was not there, I am sure Zeania has a few challenges/stories to tell from her experience with the guys.

There were many obstacles and your team just jumped right in and picked up where others slacked. You would have thought they new me before this day. We knew we made the right choice after we had our engagement shoot. Pedro, our main photographer, was so much fun, so patient and so professional. We are so happy with our wedding shoot., They caught all the important moments and captured all the details, which is so important because the bride never gets enough time to take it all in. Deja Vu was so accommodating. I had a thousand requests and instructions, and they carried them out to the letter. The photographers and our videographer were very professional. They were always around when we had a shot we wanted them to get, but they were never intrusive or in the way. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them. Out of all of my vendors Deja Vu was our favorite! Alan, the owner, was amazing! He was by our side through all of the planning and any questions we had. The photographer, Luis, was beyond perfect! He made us feel relaxed and comfortable. His pictures were phenomenal!!! I recently had a few friends get married and ALL of them said they wished they had gone with our photographer because their pictures were not as good or they had issues with their photographers. The staff have all been professional and we just got our video a few weeks ago and it is better than we even imagined!

If you want professionalism, friendliness and a FANTASTIC product - you must go with Deja Vu Studios!!! I did my research and looked high and low for the best around for what I could afford - and they were the only company willing to work with me. To this day, I was soooooo happy with the product that I continue to buy things through this studio. They are extremely fair in their pricing - and were able to beat the competition - hands down! After my wedding, my guests were so impressed that the photographer and videographer did not get in their way. My guests also said they didn't notice them taking pictures. I got all the important pictures and stayed within my budget. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them!!!!! Even when you walk into the studio - there is a great feeling about the place. It is not pretentious - like some other studios. Honestly, you will not be happier with anyone else. I did my research for the best - and I'm so lucky I found Deja Vu! My husband and I didn't start our family yet - but I already know we will go to Deja Vu for our family photos :)

DejaVu was not only an excellent company to work with because of the quality of their work, but because of the lengths they went to to ensure that everything for our day ran smoothly. From the day we met Alan at a bridal expo he went above and beyond for us. Our wedding involved a lot of traveling, from Suffolk county to Brooklyn and then back to Queens, and at our first meeting - before we even signed a contract - he spent about an hour helping us plan a timeline for our day. We were able to meet with the photographer for our wedding well in advance which was an added bonus. On the day of the wedding they were on time, professional and fun to work with. They captured the mood of our day through their work. We have been and will continue to, recommend them to everyone we know.

Alan and his staff were all very professional and wonderful to work with. Jen was always available to give us updates as to when things would get done. I also loved how they were flexible when scheduling appts. with them. We had Cecelia and Zenia as our wedding day photographers and I have to say the pictures came out beautifully. I would highly recommend them to any one that is looking for a photographer to document their special occasion.

Alan and his team at Deja Vu proved to be true professionals from the get-go, and throughout the post-production process. This was my first experience working with Deja Vu, but they are now cemented in my "rolodex" for future events. Having now been through it, the most important thing to bear in mind on an important day like a wedding, is to be prompt and at-ease. We had planned the day out well in advance and knew where we had to be, by what time, to ensure we got the best use of the sunlight. We all kept an eye on the clock, but took plenty of beautiful photos in due time.

One note: make a list of everything you want to happen on that day, for photos, video, music, anything. Keep that list and share it with your vendors. Be clear and communicate your desires because it is YOUR day, and YOURS to remember. Pay attention to what you like/don't like at other weddings.

Alan was fantastic because yes, he's been doing this for awhile, but he's also open to suggestions. No arrogance with anyone at Deja Vu, only a pleasure.

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!!!! We could not be more satisfied or pleased with our pictures and video. We shopped around before deciding on Deja Vu, and we are very happy that we did. Our pictures are incredible and the video is amazing! But it was not only the quality of the work but the incredible staff that we are so pleased with. Complete professionals. They helped my wife a lot on that day, and the pictures they took were amazing. They were very helpful to everybody, and you didn't even need to finish your sentence before they were off taking whatever picture you needed. My 94 year old grandmother was up dancing at one point, and all it took was my mother to say to the photographer "Can you do me a favor, grandma is dancing...." and he was already off to get the shots of her up and partying. They worked hard, and it shows, and we recieved the pictures very quickly. The video has been ready for a while already, but we haven't picked it up yet. They're work is amazing, they're professionalism was amazing, and the price was great.

De ja Vu studios was recommended to us for our wedding video and photography and we were thrilled with everything!! Alan, jen, Jose and the rest of the dejavu staff were wonderful to work with. They took gorgeous pictures of our wedding day! They listened to exactly what I was looking for, and delivered flawlessly. We had the most perfect day, and Jose captured it all in his beautiful photographs. Alan even stopped by our reception to ensure that everything was running smoothly! Since I am in westchester and dejavu is in mineola, they made it as convenient for me as possible. They were very flexible about meeting dates/times and Alan even met me up here to drop off my proofs! Their work speaks for itself. I would highly recommend them!

DeJa Vu Studios is an amazing studio! Alan and his staff really worked with me to help pull together my vision. On my wedding day the photography/videography team listened to me when I had an idea, insturcted me on all the classic pictures and scenes to capture and made sure to find those moments that may have seemed insignificant, but wound up being an amazing photo. My husband and I rated all of ur vendors after the wedding and decided that DeJa Vu studios deserves an A+++ !!! They were the most professional and friendly, the most cooperative and attentive, and overall the best! They continued to provide this amazing service throughout the album and prints selection. Absolute best to work with! Our pictures were fantastic, the photographers were great to work with and the album looks spectacular.

The videographer was a pleasure to work with but I wasn't completely satisfied with the final wedding video edit. Although the turnaround time was quick, the quality is fantastic but we opted to let them "edit" it without any real input from us - our mistake.

We had to plan our wedding within 6 weeks.. As stressful as it could have been finding a photographer.. It was easy.. Deja Vu worked with us and helped us get a package that was within our budget. We had our wedding on December 26th 2011, During a blizzard..By the time I got there the Photographer was already there snapping photos.. They were very professional and easy to work with. They came up with some great shots and made the day a lot easier on us. We are very happy with the way all the photos came out, and recommend Deja Vu To anyone looking for 5 star Work for a great price.

Our very first impression of Deja Vu Studios was that they were very professional. With the professionalism and the comfort that we felt when we met with Alan made us have complete confidence in the work that Jose, Zenia and Dominick would do on the day of our wedding. The photographs that we received from our wedding were absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for better pictures or more pictures too....We had over a thousand to go through and it was so great to have so many options to choose from. We had both traditional and photojournalistic pictures taken. On the day of our wedding, we were able to enjoy our time with our family and friends while photographs and video were being taken, the photographers were there without us knowing...The process of planning a wedding can be stressful but any questions, ideas or thoughts we had we did not hesitate to contact Alan. Wonderful all around experience!! The photographers, the staff, the album, everything was perfect. Working with Alan and Jen was like working with a friend, they made the whole experience fun and enjoyable and 100% stress free. My pictures came out amazing, despite the rain. My album is stunning, i love they way the integrated the pictures on each page and the color enhancements are such a nice touch!! I also used them for the video which i highly recommend, the videographer did a great job, you never even noticed him at the wedding and i love the way the video came out. I even used them for my pregnancy photos and now i am booking them for my daughters christening. I can't say enough good things about Deja Vu. Alan and his staff made us feel very comfortable right away and was very professional. One of the first things I asked of Alan was that I wanted to have my wedding proofs and parents albums ready by Dec/Christmas time. (I got married in Sept). Not only did Alan promised but he delievered. When researching other photographers most of them told me flat out they would not be able to meet my deadline. Also, Alan chose photographers that actually live nearby my hometown where the church and reception was held which made it nice and easy and I felt I was in good hands. Overall I had a great experience working with Deja Vu and will recomend them to anyone!

We met with the owner of Déjà Vu Studios personally and were treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. My wife and I were made to feel comfortable and understood. I hit the jackpot of wedding photographers!! This company was so professional, so helpful and so creative. Our pictures are fantastic. First off, the team is unbelievably attentive to detail. They fix your dress, suit, tie, jewelry so everything is perfect. They pick the most creative backgrounds and poses yet make everything look natural and not forced. Our ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, everything was captured beautifully and they were on time, professional and polite. I highly recommend them!

During my wedding planning I did a lot of research for each vendor and Deja Vu was by far the best quality and cost that I found for photography and videography Leading up to the wedding, on my wedding day, and after my wedding, everyone was AMAZING! The staff was great, they were so reliable and helpful, and my photographer took incredible pictures. I was so happy with my photos, album and video. Everything was detailed and professional. I definitely couldn't have had a better experience!
The one vendor that I recommend over and over again to all my family and friends is Deja Vu. Hands down they were the best to work with and provided great service. My wedding day was a great day and I'm happy that I'm able to relive that day through my beautiful photos and video.

The staff at Deja Vu Studios was absolutely amazing and very professional! Not only did we work with them for our wedding day, but were there for my bridal shower as well. What a wonderful pleasure it was to work with such professional, fun photographers for the best day of my life! Planning our day was a breeze and when it actually came all photographers were punctual, excited, and truly cared about getting great shots that will help us remember and share our day with friends and family forever. The process of making our parent albums and our own album was seamless and I really enjoyed the online editing tool for our personal album! The picture quality of the prints included in our package was excellent and we couldn't hang them on our wall fast enough. I also really appreciated that for most communications they called instead of e-mailed. Highly recommended!
