We used Deisings for our wedding cake as well as apple cider donuts as one of our desserts.
Their staff is very professional and easy to work with. Eric was so patient with us when we came for our tasting and let us try so many things!
We ended up with a polynesian carrot cake with cream cheese frosting--it was delicious!
The donuts were also a hit, several different guests had be write down the name of the bakery for them they loved them so much. My cousin even went to the bakery on his way home the next day to get more!
We would absolutely work with them again and we can't wait to have the top tier we froze next year for our anniversary!

Not only was this bakery so affordable we had everything we could possibility want in a cake crazy amount of flavor choices and we even got to make each tier a different flavor! Deisings not only gave us the most delicious cake, but we got some bomb apple cider donuts that our guests could not stop raving about! Thank you again Deisings everything was perfect! -

Picture Perfect
Coordination and tasting went really well. We provided a picture of a cake design we wanted, expecting some minor differences. However, the cake design was SPOT ON. The cake tasted amazing and the service provided was top knotch. Whenever we are in the area we will be visiting the bakery. We received many compliments on our cake. Many people were asking for the bakery's information. -

Deisings made us a small cake for our wedding, to serve about 10-12 people because we were having an ice cream bar and wanted a small cake to do the traditional cake cutting. Despite this, they still put an incredible amount of time, energy, and attention into planning and creating the cake that I had envisioned.
I requested a small cake and provided them with a photo of a frosting style that was ruffled from top to bottom around the sides, including ribbon and flowers. They made suggestions on the type of ribbon that I should provide, as well as suggestions regarding the flowers if they were fake because the buttercream frosting would affect the color and appearance of certain fabrics. They also provided me with the dimensions of the cake plate I would need if I wanted to provide one or else it would go on their standard board.
The day before my MOH dropped off the items - velvet ribbon, wood flowers, and our cake topper. They took payment from her ($40) and had no issue.
The cake was BEAUTIFUL!! To no fault of theirs, it slid on the cake plate on the way to the reception, a friend picked up the cake for us and due to traffic and an accident, braking shifted the cake, but no big deal! The "back" of the cake was presented, and the frosting work was so good that you could barely tell the seems or that you were looking at the back of the cake. They placed the flowers and the ribbon flawlessly. They returned what they didn't use in pristine condition.
Unfortunately the cake was so delicious that we ate all of it that weekend and now we don't have a piece for our anniversary... who wants to eat old cake anyways?? We may just go back for our anniversary and order the same cake, take a twist on the tradition.
We had a marble cake with vanilla custard filling and buttercream frosting. I haven't had a cake that tasted that good in a long time. Just the right texture, the right balance between cake and filling/frosting... If you want an awesome cake, Deising's is the place to go. If you're looking to have a piece left for your anniversary... you might want to put someone in charge of that, or order something small that immediately gets put away... if it gets left in your reach I promise you'll end up eating it and leaving nothing left!! -

I live about an hour from the venue, and Peter was willing to work with me by phone and email to ensure our cake was perfect! I am very last minute, and did not book until a couple weeks before the wedding, but could not have been happier with our choice! The cake looked exactly like the picture I provided, they did an amazing job! I would highly recommend Deising's to any couple looking for the perfect and affordable wedding cake!! -

We went cake tasting early on and chose the cake and filling. I emailed them a picture of a cake I wanted and we were very happy with the cake. People loved the taste and the looks.

Cake tasting was friendly and fun, but they required that we order the cake no more than one month before the wedding, which was a challenge since we live out of state. Ordering was a little rushed and chaotic. Overall, a fine experience, but nothing exceptional. -

I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment and was told to just come in. We came in and sat down with one of the owners who was kind of rude and told us we should have made an appointment. We told him we tried and were told to just come in. The rest of the tasting went well and he told me to call before I come to pick it up. The morning I had to pick it up I call and let them know, the employees gave the phone to the same owner that we sat down with the first day. He got an attitude and told me I was wrong and confused and I'm not supposed to pick it up until 10am Friday to which I replied "....yes thats an hour from now" he responded that I was correct after a long silence and told me they got overwhelmed with orders and I need to pick my cake up later that day..the day before my wedding... when I had a million other things scheduled to do. I picked my cake up and ALL of the employees I dealt with were extremely professional and kind. When I got home I looked at the cake and noticed it was a bit lopsided but I just dealt with it. Aside from that the cake was amazing and tasted great. So I really hope the owner learns from his employees how to treat customers and keep track of important orders. -

Michele Sent on 10/06/2010Both our Rehearsal Dinner cake and wedding cake came out amazingly, however the journey through meeting with the bakery and having a completed order was very difficult. We arranged for a meeting with the manager and discussed all of the specifics with him about 1-1/2 months prior to the wedding. At that time he took down all of our information and what we wanted for our cakes. Two weeks before the wedding we went to the bakery to finalize the order. The manager with whom we had an appointment was not there and no one had knowledge of our cakes. We stood waiting for someone to assist us for about 15 minutes. Once someone came out to assist us, we were told that they had lost our paperwork and we had to spend the next 1-1/2 hours going over the entire order again. At this time we could not get a complete total because the person assisting us was not a cake decorator, did not know the price for the details we wanted and there was no one available to give her the information.
I will not be ordering a cake from Deising's again, even though everything turned out fine in the end.
