Marriage celebration event
Deerwood staff especially Denise Brilli was very accommodating and their service delivery was excellent. The food and beverage were excellent and the set up of the room was magnificent.I would highly recommend having your event at the the Country Club. -

The place is amazingly beautiful, perfect for the wedding event ( any event) for sure. Staff are excellent. Ms. Denise Brilli the Director of Event and Catering is phenomenal. She's above and beyond, always keep us posted and handled the event smoothly from the start till the end and even after the event she's pretty easy to reach out. Very accommodating and considerate. All the staff are very nice and service is excellent. Highly recommended. -

Denise and the team were so helpful with any and all requests! We requested an indoor ceremony & reception, which was rarely done, but they were happy to oblige. When I was searching for a wedding venue, I knew I wanted a timeless, classic space with neutral tones that I could customize. Deerwood provided just that. Denise worked with me throughout the planning process to make sure the setup was exactly how I wanted it in and outdoors. The reception space looked even more gorgeous than I dreamed up. Our guests (Deerwood can hold lots of guests!) loved the food. There is plenty of parking. Joanne made one of the most stunning and delicious cakes I’ve ever seen. The staff was kind and accommodating. And the view outside makes for beautiful photos with your wedding party and family. Deerwood really had everything I was looking for in a venue. Highly recommend.
Side note: My bridal shower was also at Deerwood and was just as perfect! -

My husband and I got married at Deerwood Country Club on March 14th 2020. Our wedding ceremony took place outside on the golf course with stunning views of the lake. We had a small wedding (about 65 guests) but the dining room can hold 200+ people with plenty of room. The dining room has beautiful views of the golf course and a built in bar.
We couldn’t ask for a more perfect wedding day. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Denise Brilli, the banquet coordinator at Deerwood, was excellent and a delight to work with. She made the whole wedding planning process so easy and stressfree. She was quick to respond to emails and so attentive to detail.
All the food at Deerwood was delicious and served promptly. I loved that the groom and I had a few minutes alone to enjoy some time together and eat the yummy appetizers before being introduced to the reception. I was so happy that we had time to enjoy our dinner before making our rounds to our guests.
JoAnne, Deerwood’s own pastry chef baked an incredible red velvet cake and a delicious apple pie for our Pi Day wedding. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and exactly what we dreamed of. Many guests told me how much they enjoyed all of the food and cake at the wedding.
All of the Deerwood staff was excellent and made our wedding day so enjoyable. I highly recommend Deerwood to any bride! -

Could Not Have Asked For A Better Experience!
Denise and her team at Deerwood Country Club made our entire wedding process an absolute dream. From start to finish, Denise was calm, cool, and collected, and really made us feel confident about everything. Wedding planning is not easy, but with the help we got from Deerwood, it was so enjoyable. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! The space is beautiful, big enough to comfortably accommodate our 150 guests, and all of our guests still compliment us today, saying that the staff were so accommodating and courteous, and they had such a wonderful time. I recommend Deerwood Country Club to any couple! -

I truly don’t think we could have picked a better spot for our special day! Denise is a true pleasure to work with and is not only accommodating but so sweet and knowledgeable in helping with the brides vision! From our Hors d’oeuvres to our cake and after night treats and bites everything was AMAZING! The staff was so accommodating and friendly! I would most definitely recommend! -

100% Excellence
We had our wedding and reception August 24, 2019 at Deerwood and it was absolutely perfect. From visiting the site in the very beginning to the end of the reception, it was flawless. Denise, the venue coordinator, is very sweet and so helpful. She makes you feel at ease and you can tell this is something she enjoys and is very good at. She is responsive, insightful and helpful. Her staff is professional, and they did an excellent job with setting up, executing my vision, and breaking down. They set everything up exactly how I envisioned it, as if I had done it myself. They were the perfect amount of there-when-you-need-them, but also gave us space and time to enjoy time with our family and party during getting ready and the actual event. Through and through, Denise and her team are great.
We got many compliments on the food, from hors d'oeuvres to salads, to drinks to entrees, and of course to the cake. The chef is great at pairing food together and flavors. And Joanna, the pastry chef, made a beautiful and delicious cake that came out exactly what we had talked about. And the food and cake it so fresh because it is all made right there on site.
The venue itself is gorgeous. The entrance is impressive, the ballroom can be sized to accommodate your party size so you aren't cramped or too spread out, the bar is built-in and rich, and the veranda and ceremony site is positioned to look out over the huge lake and beautiful grounds. The men and women dressing rooms were perfect to have space to spread out, get ready, have access to multiple bathrooms and sinks, and even have lunch catered in by the Club.
I don't have a single bad thing to say about Deerwood. They were perfect and I would recommend them over and over. We are still getting flooded with compliments from A to Z! -
