Absolutely worth the price. Not only was Mark super flexible with what we could afford, and what we wanted to do, but his many years in the industry helped shape the wedding into an amazing party. He knows the small things that make a wedding a party and includes them without you even realizing to ask for them. Hes the kind of guy who knows how to blend the music you like with the bops that will please the masses. Mark took what turned out to be a more complicated process than we anticipated (who would've thought picking your wedding music would be complicated ;) ) and helped guide us through step by step, creating a day that we will never forget. He shed light on details we may not have otherwise thought about, and gave us the direction we needed to tackle our objectives. He went above and beyond in so many ways, worked with us on the music for the ceremony and reception, created a beautiful slide show from some of our favorite pictures, had several meetings and attended the rehearsal, and kept our crowd alive right to the end.

Mark from Deejay Professionals made our son and daughter in laws day spectacular. From the start of the ceremony until the clock struck midnight, Mark kept the entertainment flowing. The sound quality, lights and audio were of superior quality.
Also, with keeping the bride and grooms requests in mind, the variety of music was enjoyed by everyone. I am happy to say that the dance floor was never bare. I highly recommend Mark from Deejay Professionals!!!Deejay Professionals's reply:

Awesome experience!
Our wedding was brought to a whole new level with the addition of Deejay Professionals. I did not expect so much pre wedding professionalism with all the communication that was brought to the table. The planned communications truly made me realize just what I needed yet in my planning! Deejay Professionals personally guided me through the processes of picking songs for pre processional and post prcessional which were elements I had not even thought of, and my night was magical. They were even able to get specific songs I was uncertain would be able to be played! In addition to that communication, they were even there for the night of rehearsal so that our practice could be done to the actual music!
Some of our music was very specific requests, like The Never Ending Story theme song for our post processional and other music like It's Raining Taccos by artists not well known, and yet Deejay Professionals was able to find the music we desired and play it right on cue.
The best thing was that it was affordable to our budget needs, yet the service was outstanding. I can't say how impressed I was!
If you want your wedding to be spectacular like mine was, you absolutely need Deejay Professionals. Trust me.Deejay Professionals's reply:

I have had the opportunity to work with DJ Mark several times now, as he has been my audio tech for a number of shows that I have produced. Mark always arrives ready to work with his top of the line equipment. He is flexible, friendly, and knowledgeable about a very wide range of music and artists from a century ago, to today’s current hits. He is able to read a crowd and adjust settings, music, and volumes accordingly. One of the things I love about working with DJ Mark is how he pays attention to make the event flow seamless and without any audio issues. This was a best choice!!!
This was a great choice for our wedding. Great price and options so we could still maintain a good budget and not compromise our taste in music. Mark made us our very own Playlist with music we wanted!!! And it was great that he took our quests requests while making sure our do not play was firm ;) customized songs where we needed and made our requested priority. Deejay Professionals went above and beyond to make our wedding special. they met all our expectations and then some. We had a lot of positive feedback about their services. The highlight of the night was the Mission Impossible game. The game is awesome and allows everyone in attendance to get a picture with the bride and groom. Mark and his nephew did an amazing job at our wedding! They played some quieter music I chose during dinner which was perfect. When it was time for the dancing they kept our small group (about 40) dancing for hours! I have never seen some of our aunts and uncles dance like that before!

He came up with an idea of letting the guests help us pick songs for the wedding. It was a terrific idea and everything was perfect. Mark is a nice guy and very fairly priced for his services. However, you get what you pay for I guess. He was good with communication, and played the music we asked for at the ceremony, but when it came to the reception he wasn’t great. He asked for a playlist prior to, and then just sat there and played it. No crowd interaction at all, and he even told guests (very rudely) that he couldn’t play their songs because he was playing off a playlist. I specifically told him that if the crowd was not having fun and dancing, please switch it up to make it fun. One guest told me that there was barely anybody on the dance floor when she requested a song and he said absolutely not. He had his teenage son with him, who did nothing but sit there along side him. Mark also asked for the check in the middle of me running around like a crazy woman. I knew he needed it, but would have preferred to pay prior to the day of the wedding or even after, so I didn’t have to worry about it at an inconvenient time. I guess that’s partially my fault, but I felt like it was not very professional. There were a few other things that I wasn’t super happy about too, but won’t mention. I am honestly not sure how this guy had such good reviews. If you want someone to just sit there and play a list that you created, this is your guy. Otherwise, I would pay a bit more, and hire someone else. Sorry Mark, but you need to step up your game! Lesson learned.Deejay Professionals's reply:

Thank you for the review. We take them seriously the total average review scores speak for our performances. And I am truly sorry you and your guests feel like you had a bad experience. If the crowd does not respond we do try to give 100% in getting things moving. And sometimes there is that one percent nothing works. In meeting with you prior I did stress that it’s your day and the music list you provide and communication is a priority! And 99 percent of the time the music list provided engages the crowd, Due to the fact you both know your guests and music tastes. . The list and music you provided truly I felt should have done just that. We do try to take and play as many requests possible with your music list as a guide. Unless it is a song that was inappropriate, on your do not play list or would throw the flow of the music off. This is why the prior meetings paper work and hours of prep work and of pulling your music list together are important to us and your day. You stated there was a good communication should go both ways and we pride ourselves in doing just that. I am truly sorry your guest and you felt that our performance was not up to par and you had a poor experience. As for payment being requested it states right in our contract. “ Balance” is due at the beginning of the reception”.
