Kristina was the best thing that happened to our wedding.
This woman is hardworking, kind, generous, and an overall GEM to be around. My husband and I were blown away when we saw the photographs she took of us for our engagement session and wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
We called her the morning of our engagement session and said, “We found a horse we can use for the photos, do you mind!?” and she was so excited, enthusiastic, and romped around tall itchy grass with us for hours to get the perfect shots. Her personality was a perfect fit as she is very type A/take charge (like I am) and told us what to do, posed us in a very natural way, and also captured the sweet little in between moments and interactions- the genuine belly laugh photos are some of our favorites.
We had Kristina stay the weekend with us at our wedding so she could capture both the welcome party and the wedding day. Our rehearsal dinner was on a hillside at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch and hiring her for this event was such a god send. They are some of our favorite photos from the weekend- so relaxed and fun and great memories with our guests. The day of our wedding we didn’t have a lot of time for group pictures with each of our friends, so this was a great time to make that happen. We also did speeches at our welcome party instead of the wedding and she captured all of the emotions- laughing, crying, and overwhelmed with love.
The morning of our wedding she was a calming force and even had her assistant helping to steam our bridesmaid dresses- cannot ask for better service than that. Such a sweet and unexpected gesture. Kristina started the morning doing all of our detail shots and worked her booty off for the next 9 hours ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We wanted to do a first look on site and those photos are some of our favorites- I highly recommend doing a first look to spend more (uninterrupted) time with your soon to be spouse. It is such a crazy day and the first look was such a nice break/moment not to mention fantastic photo op. She directed my family through the dreaded family photos and ran around searching high and low for the perfect lighting during a *very* sunny day at 10,200 feet altitude on the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck. Our reception was at Saddleridge and the photos captured of the space are stunning. The epic dance party photos are also fantastic and it’s obvious Kristina knows what she is doing in any lighting situation.
I searched high and low to find her because wedding photos are so important! At the end of the day they're all you're left with--grandkids will see them, etc. Kristina was 100% the right choice for us--and if you can book her, I guarantee the right choice for you, too. We love you, Kristina!

Katie Sent on 05/17/2018Kristina was the perfect wedding photographer. She was such a professional before, during, and after our wedding. She shoots both film and digital, offering you a PLETHORA of beautiful wedding memories. She knows exactly what she's doing and made our wedding day run so smoothly. Besides the topnotch photography, she also brought her bright and positive energy to the wedding, making it easy for me and my guests to have genuine smiles for the camera. Her style is candid and artistic, more so than posed. One reason she caught my eye in the beginning was because she was a seasoned fine art photographer with affordable packages! Even after flying her out for my California wedding, she cost me less than other local fine art photographers! For my wedding photo vision, I was looking for a dreamy, bright, "Pinterest" look, and she nailed it! She was also very attentive and accommodating of any questions or requests I shared. She answered all our questions honestly and promptly. Overall, she made the experience feel personal - we even chatted over the phone to get to know each other, and had meetings over FaceTime - she is a bundle of joy and will make you feel safe and secure about your photography needs! On top of all that, she's simply a kind-hearted person. It makes a difference when you have vendors that make you feel supported and cared about, and she will definitely add that element and ease to your wedding planning journey! If you're thinking about using Decorus Photography, send her a little message, and I'm sure she will have you convinced in no time!

Morgan Sent on 05/20/2018About three months before my wedding and a week before I took the Bar Exam my original photographer had a family emergency and informed me that she couldn’t photograph our wedding. I was crushed and stressed, had no idea where to begin. That’s when I was sent Kristina’s work. I fell in lovemaking immediately. The exact style I was dreaming of... and then I noticed she was lived Denver. How was I going to make that work? Well I didn’t have to. Kristina made it work. She booked flights and learned my city all on her own. She traveled to Charleston several weekends before to make sure she was familiar with everything. And the day of the wedding she made all of my dreams come true. She prounced me around Charleston for passerbyers to stop and awe. She chose amazing locations that matched my vision. And I didn’t have to do anything. I’m certain Kristina probably wanted a little more help from me, but she did it all without complaining or getting frustrated. She was truly amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. And the pictures we got back are breathtaking. If you are looking for a photographer look no further. Kristina is your girl.

Mari Sent on 05/24/2018Kristina is THE BEST photographer in town. The softness and beauty of her work made every photo from our wedding weekend perfect. She is so much fun to work with, it made the picture taking experience fun!! My husband is not the biggest fan of pictures, but she made him laugh and have a great time with it! Kristina has actually become one of my very best friends. She is so sweet, funny, and one of the best people I’ve ever met. We are excited to start a family soon and cannot was to use Kristina and Decorus Photography for all of our photography needs in the years to come!!
