We were so lucky to experience Debonaire Entertainment at our wedding - from the reception dinner to the party following, Eric brought the best energy from start to finish. Everyone had a great time, lots of dancing, and we got a ton of compliments about the music selection. Eric at Debonaire Entertainment was the best DJ and make our wedding day amazing, flawless, and an absolute blast!!!
From the beginning and through the planning process, he was such a pleasure to work with. He was always clear and responsive, and helped guide us in the timeline decisions. I had full confidence in his attention to detail, ensuring all the logistics, from ceremony to reception, were executed perfectly and on time.
Beyond logistics, he delivered the dance party we asked for!!! We had an absolute blast on the dance floor! He played our few requested songs, and also got everyone on the dance floor with his other song selections.
Our guests had amazing feedback, and appreciated that he played music that not only put on a lively dance party, but our guests of all ages could dance to! Also that he chimed in during transitions, but didn't talk too much over the music.
Lastly, he was just a great calming, yet energetic and fun presence to the night!! The DJ at your wedding really can make or break the vibe of the night/party, and Eric was the perfect presence.
He also sent a personal note in the mail the week after which was so thoughtful.
We are so thankful that Eric was such an important part of our day, and could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!

Perfect Music for a Perfect Day
Eric was phenomenal for me and my husband on our wedding day. The music was great despite us not giving him a ton to work with. He did an amazing job "reading the room" for our reception and adjusting the music accordingly. He made sure to incorporate all of our "must plays" while hitting the right mark with everything else. His transitions were pretty awesome, too! We ended up ending the reception a little early given it was a Sunday and we had folks who had early flights/car trips back, and Eric expertly adjusted on the fly after my husband let him know the plan.

Eric, what can I say, he's the best. I have had the pleasure of knowing Eric for past 18 years of my life, and working at the Mill at Fine Creek for at least 10 of those years off and on I can say I have heard a lot of DJs come and go, but I can say with the utmost confidence that Eric is the best.
From the moment I first met him when I was in high school, to this past year Eric's warm and welcoming personality is exactly what you need/want when either going to a wedding or hosting a wedding. He's quick to communicate, easy to converse with, timely, professional and the best part is he is an amazing DJ playing music that people want to hear, not what people expect. For years and years you hear DJs at weddings play the same boring crap, no offense, Brown Eyed Girl, or Yeah, Yeah, or Love Shack, but Eric tends to avoid the mundane in favor of something new and fresh, while bringing back hits that warm the hearts of every generation attending the wedding. He mixes and transitions, plays and dances, he's incredible and you would be lucky to even have him at your wedding much less be your DJ. Beat wedding DJ!
We first saw Eric DJ at my friend's wedding back in 2021 and specifically remembered how great he was! When it came time to plan our wedding last year, we knew we wanted to book him for our wedding too. During each of our planning calls with him, he was always upbeat and fun. He managed the mics and sound for our wedding ceremony and everything went perfectly without a hitch despite the ceremony being outside on a mountain! He was amazing too at our reception, the dance floor was packed the entire night! I know he's a great DJ because I didn't even have to think about the music once the whole night, I just knew the guests were loving it and we were dancing the whole time! And even weeks later I'm still hearing from wedding guests about how fun the reception was!

If you want a packed dance floor all night, you came to the right place. Eric was so pleasant to work with. He arrived with plenty of time to set up for our ceremony and had all our music lined up how we wanted. Throughout the day he would check on us to see if we needed anything. During the reception the dance party did not stop. Eric was a great MC and had great song picks the whole night for based on all our suggestions. We even got comments from couples that said that their husbands, that never dance, were even on the dance floor! We highly recommend Eric if you're looking for a DJ for any event.

Eric was so easy to work with - he did such an awesome job as our wedding reception DJ. He was professional, kind, and flexible when we needed to make changes. He used our playlist exactly as we hoped and was really great with reading the crowd and MC'ing the entire event. A night to remember
Thank you Debonaire Entertainment Inc. DJ Andrew did a phenomenal job at my wedding. Our families rarely dance, however the dance floor remained packed for the entirety of our wedding. All thanks to DJ Andrew!
He was professional and prompt through all of our correspondence. His anniversary dance was a big hit with our guests and is probably my favorite part of the night. Eric Cunningham was our DJ for our wedding and totally nailed every single aspect of sound and music! Eric didn't just play songs from a playlist, he weaved songs from one to the other and god people up and dancing! There was always someone on the dance floor, and the transitions and mixing of songs were perfect!
Eric was also able to quickly and professionally adjust to changes in our schedule. We had some last minute changes and he complied quickly and perfectly.
Eric has a fantastic professional presence, he put us at ease immediately showing us his skill with sound equipment, song choice, and not just playing songs during the ceremony but timing them perfectly. From the very start, it was evident that both Dwayne and Eric (who I spoke with first) know the wedding business completely. They asked all the right questions, put me and my now husband completely at ease. I highly recommend him! He’s such a kind soul, played all of the best music that my attendees loved, and played a huge variety. The man even played a polka! I am deeply grateful for Dwayne and Eric and will always recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding DJ. Great both on and off the stage!
Eric worked magic on the DJ stage, seamlessly incorporating songs we requested with others that fit the same theme/vibe. He knows how to get people on the dance floor and also reads the room (e.g. transitions as necessary). Eric was also a pleasure to work with before the event. Debonair Entertainment's own Eric Cunningham is the best DJ I've ever encountered. I have worked with Eric in the past but this was the first wedding. Eric is always on time - professional (in appearance, production, operations, across the board!). Not only does Eric know his business, he puts his heart into your event. Music makes an event. Do NOT trust your special day to just anyone. Do yourself and your guests a favor and HIRE Debonair Entertainment to make your wedding, cocktail hour and reception better than you could imagine. You need someone to know what to say, when to say it and HOW to say it.... with Eric & Debonair that is EXACTLY what you will get.
In addition, he is reasonable. You can pay less for this type of service, you can also pay more.....but you do GET what you pay for!
I will always hire Debonair for any event I hold at my home or elsewhere. He made our entire event.... Thank you Eric! I will be forever grateful for you!

Eric Cunninghman is the best! He is so positive, good-natured, and flexible about how you want to do your wedding. He was willing to help us make a customized playlist for our cocktail hour and prelude music based on my husband's fairly particular musical vision. When bad weather threatened our ceremony and then resolved miraculously in time, he didn't bat an eye when we asked if he'd be willing to set the ceremony up outside a second time. And of course- our dance party was a total blast!

Saved the day!
Eric provided backup DJ services for us when our original had a family emergency. I never had to fear or worry if he was a good fit because he immediately stepped in and put us at ease. I would say he exceeded our expectations and then some - so we truly lucked out in the end. Even the music waiting for guests to arrive was personalized. He nailed every wish I (as a type A control freak) could have had. We had some illnesses, changeups, and no-shows - but he still kept everyone hyped and dancing. Seeing my mom and dad dance was the highlight of my night. All of these things of course speak to his experience and expertise.
I hope you’ll hire him. Eric isn’t ‘just a DJ.’ He’s a vibe creator, memory maker, and will remind you what it feels like to have someone who makes you and your loved ones feel special.

Fantastic experience! Book with confidence
Eric was on our list of preferred vendors from our venue and after our first phone call, I knew we wanted to book with him. He is extremely upbeat, full of fun ideas, and very experienced. Before our wedding, we enjoyed conversations with him as he got to know us as a couple. The process for picking music/music styles/introductions, etc. was organized. During our wedding, he seamlessly handled the ceremony mics, ceremony music, and cocktail hour music. The reception was a blast - he read the room and kept the party lively! He also gave us the idea to have a "last dance" to ourselves which I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect way to end the night with my new husband.

A magical and memorable reception
If you are in need of a DJ, look no further. We cannot recommend Eric Cunningham of Debonaire Entertainment enough!! He made our reception so special. The mood he created throughout was warm and celebratory and he did a fantastic job hyping up our crowd during announcements and on the dance floor. We had so much fun dancing, along with our guests, that we lost track of time and were completely taken aback when we learned we had 5 minutes left before the reception ended! He took our song recommendations to heart and did a wonderful job mixing those in with other genres we (and our guests) enjoyed. Amazing DJ services
We were so nervous because our venue came with a DJ in the contract but we had no idea who we’d be connected with. I’m so thankful we got paired with DJ Eric. He has a very thorough document where I was able to list out all the songs we wanted for our wedding festivities and he allowed me to send song files for shortened songs for our first dance and bridal processional. Every song played at the right time and he definitely could read the room which is a key DJ skill. I highly recommend!

Eric went over and beyond at our wedding in every aspect. To start with, we told Eric that we just wanted to people to dance and he was able to read the crowd and energy and play the right music the entire night. We did not have a minute when the dance floor was empty. Eric also set up a sound system for the ceremony, which we did not even think about. He did not do the music for the ceremony, but still set up the system for the strings ensemble and microphones for us. Eric also went out of his way the entire night to make sure that we were happy and had everything that we needed (not the DJs job at all!). We also unfortunately had a guest who had a medical emergency right before our grand entrance and Eric helped coordinate calling 911, moving people around, AND deciding how to proceed with the evening with total calmness. Eric also helped us book two amazing women to run a photo booth and there was a line the entire wedding. They were both very nice and helpful, especially with the older crowd that had never used a Photo Booth before. We also received all of the photo booth pictures 2 days later which are some of our favorite photos of the night.
If you are looking for a team that truly guides you every step of the way and helps fill in gaps where you are unsure what you want, this is the team for you. They truly care about what they are doing and care that you are having the best night of your life. We cannot thank Eric enough for everything he did before and during the wedding.

We were paired up with David (DJ Dook) for our Indian/American fusion wedding and we could have not imagine a more perfect setup. David worked with us with the many changes due to Covid restrictions, he took the time to get to learn about our culture. David started off the day with his Baarat mix that hit all the right spots. MC-ed all day and then really kept the party alive for reception mixing American and Indian music. He read the energy off of our guests and saw what worked best and played to their liking. David himself brought so much energy to the party and kept us wanting more. David kept all of our choreographed dances and music playing without and hiccups (and minimal instruction from the wedding couple who forgot to provide better details). All interactions and organization was very professional and really just more than we could imagine.

Needed a bigger dance floor because Eric kept it packed!
I decided to hire Eric after he came highly recommended from the wedding coordinator at our venue, the Jefferson Hotel. The coordinator told me that Eric is his favorite to work with and the best DJ, and I figured he would know after having seen so many weddings! I felt overwhelmed with wedding decisions so I just went with what the Jefferson said and WOW, I am happy that I did. Eric was very conscientious leading up to the wedding. He had so many ideas for our reception and gathered song requests to get a sense of what we wanted. He was a perfect emcee for our night as well, keeping our reception rolling and keeping the energy up. The ONLY thing I would’ve changed about our wedding was having a bigger dance floor because he kept it packed the entire night. There truly was not a single moment when people weren’t dancing. I’m so happy I used Debonaire Entertainment.

A truly great dj!
We met Eric through our venue but we could not have been partnered with a better DJ. His energy is incredible, his mic presence is so smooth, he played fabulous music for all ages and there were no technical issues or lulls in the playlist. From last minute updates the week of to the last song of the night, Eric handled everything professionally and calmly. He's flexible and great at communication and played such a great variety of music. Several of our guests commented at the end of the night or the next morning that they loved the music was played. I could literally go on forever about how wonderful of a DJ Eric Cunningham is. Because I worked at my wedding venue as a bartender prior to getting married there, I had the pleasure of working quite a number of weddings where he provided the entertainment. He is a true professional and had so many fun and creative suggestions to really personalize the experience. Fantastic DJ
Eric was a fantastic DJ at our wedding! He was so professional and made us feel comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. He took our requests and worked them in with other crowd pleaser songs and mixed songs together in a way that was fun and different too! Eric was the best dj! He really got to know our preferences and musical taste prior to the wedding day. Amazing! I need another excuse to hire them!
My wife and I booked Debonaire for our wedding. Even though our ceremony was outdoors and with no internet, or DJ came prepared and didn't miss a beat! They were easy to work with during the planning stages and responded to communications very promptly. Also, the mixing and transitions from one song to the next were seamless (I'm a stickler when it comes to this).

Eric was highly recommended by our venue and we're so glad he was! From our first conversation, Eric was upbeat and excited to work with us. He was patient and accommodating as we made several changes up to the last minute (COVID struggles). When the day finally arrived, he was prepared, professional, and flexible as we fell behind our timeline. And once the time for dancing came, he knew just what to play to keep the energy flowing! Out of this world DJ
Definitely the best DJ we came across in Richmond. DJ Eric from Debonaire Entertainment was able to provide an entire crew of Lighting Techs and Photo Booth. Lighting Tech Gary and team did an amazing job making the venue look enchanted and were able to customize Kendall’s Monogram with our Hometown Skyline. Sharone with the Photo Booth was able to capture amazing memories of our guests. DJ Eric also provided 2 DJs, himself and DJ Willy Cruz to accommodate our Spanish/English guests. Being from Houston Tx DJ Eric was able to bring the H-TOWN Vibe a reality here in the RVA. From the moment the dance started DJ Eric kept the dance floor at 100% LIVE!!!!!! Ending this review we HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ Eric and Debonaire Entertainment Inc for all your special occasions, they definitely went above and beyond in putting a huge smile on our Quinceañera!!!!

My husband Nick and I found Eric through our wedding coordinator, Mary Jane. From the get go Eric was incredibly professional, helpful and quick to respond to any questions i may have stumbled across. He was very thorough while going over the timeline for our wedding and helpful when i wasn't sure where a song would fit in best for our wedding. We had a small group of about 30 people, ages ranging from 17-78. Eric did a wonderful job keeping the party pumping and keeping people on the dance floor. All together i think my favorite part might have been my uncle singing karaoke. I would definitely recommend Eric 1000x over again. Thank you for making our wedding UNFORGETTABLE!

I am so glad we booked Eric for our wedding! If you're trying to decide on a DJ, just book Eric and be done with it. Every step of the process was great. He made sure he captured all of our requests, wedding party names, order of events, etc, and he executed everything perfectly on the day of. We got so many compliments on both the music choices and on Eric himself. He MC'd the events with enthusiasm and excitement, and he read the room perfectly to keep the dance floor busy. The floor was full for pretty much the entire night. There is literally nothing he could have done better - it was perfect.

Eric is amazing!
Eric is exceptionally amazing!!! He was personable, professional, and so much fun to work with. When I first met Eric at a bridal show, he brought tears to my eyes with the pictures he was able to paint for me with stories of things he had done in the past. His experience helped us so much in guiding the vision we had for how the reception was going to play out. We wouldn't have been able to have the same experience without his involvement, and the music selection was phenomenal. He had everyone on the dance floor all night long!!
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ and highly recommend Eric!!!
