A special day captured completely

Heidi and Gerry spent all day and most of the night getting the perfect shots for my God daughters wedding. The professionalism and drive to capture her special day was evident. Thousands of pictures were taken. !! Definitely would recommend

You have to try a De La Teja Boudoir Shoot!

Want to feel like you are the sexiest woman in the world? Want to see your hubby or wifey drop their jaws? Want to do all of this alongside the most fun, creative and professional photographers in the business? Then De La Teja Boudoir is for you! I did an photo shoot as a surprise gift for my fiancé. I was very nervous at first, which I was told is very common, but I left their studio feeling like I could do anything and that the world better get out of my way because I am a force to be reckoned with.

Heidi and Gerry listened to my creative ideas and brought their own. Throughout the shoot they would show me sample shots. Every time I saw one of those photos I could not believe it was me! Shadows and angles and their coaching alongside sassy outfits really do wonders, ladies! They know how to direct your body to make it look amazing. I left with sweet and romantic shots, sultry and intense shots and shots that look like pure art!

It was so much fun to give the photos to my fiancé, but I have to say that I think they turned out to be more of a gift to myself than to him. It is incredibly empowering to see yourself look so amazing. I was always curious about doing a shoot like this and now that I have done it I wish I would have done it sooner and really want to do it again. I still walk around with my head held higher (probably to balance the crown I feel like I should be wearing all the time now). Everyone needs to give this a chance. If not for someone else, do this for YOURSELF. You will not regret it. The world has plenty of room for more Queens. Get it, girl!

Fantastic Work!

Heidi and her crew are phenomenal at taking photographs and video. My husband and I were so impressed with the amazing shots she took of our wedding day. She’s so much fun to work with and very personable. I would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for beautiful photos and videos to cherish for a lifetime.

The best photographer I could ever ask for

We absolutely loved working with Heidi. She did my boudoir pictures and my wedding pictures. It was so nice as a bride to have one less thing to worry about on my wedding day knowing she had the pictures covered. She really gets to know you and learn what you want. You don’t want to regret your wedding picture photographer and I definitely did not. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for my wedding!

I had Boudoir picture taken as a surprise for my husband. And so glad I choose De La Teja Studio. They are very professional and my pictures turned out amazing. And my husband LOVED them. I would Highly recommend them to anyone. Well worth the money.

Heidi was AMAZING to work with. She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable which showed through the pictures. Her personality is fun and outgoing and just made the whole experience fun for us! Heidi De la Teja, Heidi Niesel and Gerry De la Teja did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding! Our pictures are absolutely perfect, with so many to choose from! Simply amazing from start to finish Team Teja was outstanding!! They communicated perfect details with my sister and kept in close contact with her and I ( the maid of honor ) the entire year building up to the grand day! Heidi & Gerry help orchestrate an smooth and seamless day for the bride - her parents/family and their entire wedding party! They are extremely meticulous to details and nothing was missed or over looked. You get what you pay for! Heidi & Gerry had come highly recommend to us through other friends who had hired them - and we are eternally grateful! You could tell that Team Teja had been documenting events for over 18 years by their incredible style and sense of grace behind the camera. The images are nothing short f fine art prints. Heidi & Gerry documented a friends wedding in Chicago recently. We were blown away by the amazing images they produced. I absolutely LOVE De La Teja Studio!! From our first meeting to after our wedding, Heidi and Gerry were excellent. They responded quickly to all our questions and really cared to make our wedding photography special. I sent Gerry some sample pictures that I liked to give him an idea of what we were looking for, and he did great getting these shots and more, and we had a lot of fun in the process. When I first saw our photos on their facebook page I was BLOWN AWAY at how amazing they were-not just wedding photos, but works of art. I couldn't believe they were our photos! They have an amazing eye. I am so excited to get our photo book and hang some prints on our wall, the only problem is narrowing down which to choose because we have so many amazing shots. They are truly worth every penny! Thank you Gerry and Heidi!

Heidi and Gerry and their assistants were spectacular and I couldn't have asked for a better group of photographers and videographers for our wedding day. During the wedding planning process Heidi was especially helpful in determining the schedule of events for the day of the wedding. On our wedding day the De La Teja team arrived on time and immediately got to work capturing photos of everybody getting ready. They also found time to sneak into the ballroom and capture all of the details of our decor before our guests had a chance to go inside. I was also very impressed with how quickly they were able to proof the photographs and post their favorites on Facebook. They had a photo album posted on their Facebook page the morning after the wedding, and when we arrived back home from our honeymoon a week later a USB with all of our photos was waiting for us in the mail. Overall they were incredibly professional, the photo quality is spectacular, and there isn't anyone else I would have wanted documenting our special day!

Working with Heidi is amazing. She is an artist that it will make you look unique and fabulous in every photo. Heidi took our wedding pictures on May 17, 2011 and has done our family pictures since then and always proven to do an exceptional work. She has created the most beautiful pictures to remember forever. I love Heidi's energy and how comfortable she makes you feel. Heidi is a true professional and her photos show how wonderful it is to work with such a great person! If you are looking to purchase a photo album; I highly recommend getting a photo album. Heidi and Gerry are the type of photographers you would expect to find in a place like New York City. They are the best at their craft and are wonderful to work with. My sister had them as her wedding photographer in 2009 and after seeing how beautiful her pictures were, I knew I had to have them for my own wedding. Heidi and Gerry are not only great photographers but great people. They really took the time to get to know my husband and I and we have stayed in contact with them since. They did our engagement and wedding pictures, and I plan to go to them when my husband and I decide to expand our family. I simply cannot say enough good things about them and I cherish our pictures from all our special moments.

Heidi & Gerry proved to be exceptional photographers for both our Engagement photos and Wedding Day photos! They come with lots of energy to capture every moment! They are fun yet professional and really take the input you give them to get the photos that are most important to you. They are also extremely flexible and responsive. My dad was in and out of the ICU up until the day before my wedding. I can't even tell you how many times I changed the "timeline" for the day and they were always there for whatever I wanted. With dedicating the whole day and providing all of the photos for you to keep as your own, their value is immense compared to other photographers who charge per photograph.

Heidi is truly a talented photographer and has an amazing personality. She was so genuine the first time meeting with her and really worked with us through the entire wedding day process. My husband and I had Heidi and her crew do the photography and videography for our wedding in August. They were so great about keeping us on schedule, but also willing to get 'down and dirty' to get some amazing shots. One of them even stood out in the middle of the river to get some great footage! We couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out and the candid moments they captured. Our wedding video is TO DIE FOR and I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend choosing De La Teja studios for BOTH photography and videography. You will not be disappointed!

Heidi and Gerry are amazing at what they do, true artists. They are both very professional and easy to work with. They have done several shoots to at my business and they really captured visually the look and feel of my day spa. The photos were truly artistic, they got some amazing shots and exceeded my expectations. Its almost like they see the smallest of details and frame it into their lens and they capture that moments and freeze it into a picture forever to enjoy. Both of them together as a team bring things to life and evoke feeling through their photography, which is a very hard thing to do. Not only do they do great work, but what they say they are going to do - well they deliver above and beyond. They are worth every penny, you can never get back that moment in your life, but you can always replay it by looking at the photos and its like you are brought back in time. And that is worth every penny!

We are truly excited as it was an absolute pleasure working with Heidi and Gerry. They photographed our wedding on Feb. 6th in Appleton WI. they were amazing from start to finish. At first I was a little scared as my husband wanted so much, so of course I was thinking of how expensive it could end up being but to my surprise Heidi quoted us and provided us with a package that definitely worked for our budget. She was prompt and responsive to all of our questions and we had a TON... What we both liked and one of the main reasons why I am writing this review is because of the outcome of the pictures, truly impressive; but also because they were simply amazing as they knew exactly what they were doing, they made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and you can just tell they were genuinely excited for us that very special day.

I can't lie, after our wedding we were quite nervous to see our pictures because we had a memory in our heads of what our wedding would look like in our minds and on picture but seeing the pictures would change everything! We worried for no reason because their photos perfectly captured every special moment, captured the sentiments that we remembered from our wedding, the crying and laughing that happened from so many people that we didn't even get to see live. All we can say is that the photographs are incredibly artistic and beautiful.

We can not thank Heidi and Gerry enough for that amazing work they did, that gift that will allow us to remember one of the happiest times in our lives.

Heidi and Gerry provided outstanding photography and videography for our wedding and rehearsal dinner! They were professional and lots of fun, but most importantly, they captured every special memory from those two days. They were so easy to work with and I can't imagine not having them as part of our special day.
The wedding book that Heidi created is beautiful and brilliant--I've never seen anything like it before. Heidi also made sure our video was designed exactly as we wanted, even down to specific music requests!

Heidi has done our family pictures for the past 2 years and she is absolutely amazing. She is creative, patient and spontaneous. Our pictures are absolutely exceptional surpasses our expectations every time. I have gotten so many complements on our pictures. From the minute my daughter and I met Heidi we knew she was who we wanted to capture my daughter's wedding. She did an amazing job and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. Heidi and Gerry are such amazing photographers. They are professional, yet know how to have fun with you on your wedding day. They make you feel relaxed and comfortable and the pictures turn out absolutely stunning!!! Heidi took my mess the dress photos the next day and they were everything I imagined!!! De la Teja studio also did our beautiful wedding video. Everyone that sees the video (and I make sure to show everyone haha) comments how they wish they had a video like that and how they captured all the moments perfect! I My husband and I are so glad we chose Heidi and Gerry . Choosing the right photographer is huge because you will always have those pictures and video. I am the type of person that likes to hire professionals to do their thing. Having an expert means having 1 less thing for me to think about. That being said Heidi and her team did not disappoint. Heidi was amazing! We live out of the area and she was able to fit us into her schedule when we were around so we did not have to schedule additional trips to the Fox Valley. Our engagement session was done very efficiently and the shots were beautiful. On the wedding day, Heidi and her associate were there to capture all of the day's moments without being too intrusive. Again, the shots were amazing! I didn't even remember her taking some of the shots. I highly recommend Heidi and De La Teja Studio for your wedding.

Heidi and Gerry were AMAZING! Our pictures are beautiful I could not have asked for better photographers. There is not one single thing I can think of that they could have done better. I am so happy I found Heidi and Gerry I cannot express how awesome they are. They went above and beyond what any other photographer would do and they didn't charge an arm and a leg like most photographers do. Gerry with Heidi Lee did an amazing job with our photos! Can't wait to see the video they did for us too! I'd recommend them to almost everyone but ahead of time I would let them know what you want for pictures so you get everything you want for wedding pictures. Also they are on the expensive side too that's one of the downfalls. Otherwise they are very good at what they do! :) Thank you again Gerry and Staff! :)

Heidi Lee was absolutely amazing to work with! Her approach to the big day was casual, candids, and captured all of the amazing moments! Looking back on all our pictures, she and her assistant had captured every single big moment that I think Nathan and I had! Amazing how she was always around, but you never saw her, felt like you needed to pose or create moments, she was just there to take them! I absolutely think her work is worth the money, and the photos she takes are just amazing and the ideas she had were just "us" and she didn't make you feel like you need to be anyone else in a "posed" photo...

Heidi and her team were exceptional! She gave us a package upgrade for free with the understanding that she could use our photos as advertising. We had an engagement video done that we played at our reception - everyone absolutely loved it! I would very highly recommend their services - without reservation. Heidi and Gary couldn't have been more of a joy to work with. They are extremely professional and run a highly-detailed, amazing-value company. Their personalities were easy and fun to be around. We worked primarily with Heidi for the majority of our contract, and met Gerry on the day of the wedding. Both are VERY dedicated to their work and quality of the outcome. It was a pleasure to work with them and we are very happy with both the engagement photos and wedding photos. Many of our family members commented on how efficient and smooth pictures went. Must have had a better gig!? A few weeks ago I had a lovely but long conversation with Heidi about our renewal of vows. I admit - I asked her a few questions, such as do you have references and what if I am not satisfied with the photos? She bragged and bragged about her experience of 30 years. She promised me 2 hours and 2 photographers- I paid her the deposit and waited for the contract to sign. It came in 4 pictures on a text message. I sent her a text about how I was grateful that Gerry would be there for my husband that is shy about pictures. She text me back asking me to confirm the date because the venue had a different one. Wrong! . She then called me and informed me that there was only going to be one photographer- so I asked if the price was still the same. Then I asked her to send the contract via email so I could print it, sign it, and send it. She then proceeded to send me a series of long emails and texts me saying that she was “shocked “ that I asked her those questions and that “ we didn’t seem to be on the same page “. The next morning she returned my deposit saying that I didn’t sign an impossible contract to sign via text, and canceled the photography session. So unpleasant and unprofessional. After all it is a business transaction. I would call it “ La Teja de caca” Beware. She must have had a better gig.
