Alesha planned our elopement on the beach in less than 2 weeks time. What a blessing she was for us. Everything turned out better than I had ever imagined with such a short notice. Her connections to others in the wedding arena that she used for our day were perfect. She is super attentive to your priorities and needs. Our day was perfect and we can’t thank Alesha enough. -

Alesha was amazing from start to finish. Our original wedding was supposed to be up in Banff in May 2020 but then COVID-19 closed the US/Canada border. We decided we still wanted to do whatever we could to get married in 2020 in spite of everything, and so we had to start from scratch to find everything locally in Southern California. I was looking around Instagram for a new venue and saw Alesha's stylized wedding and loved the details! We went ahead with booking both the venue and Alesha as our wedding planner. Best decision, because she stuck by us and helped us find another venue when that one fell through a week after we signed the contract. Wedding planning for us (and I'm sure many other couples this year unfortunately) was full of ups and downs, but Alesha made things much smoother and was such a bright light shining the way! We are so happy we found her. She became a close friend, someone I could just shoot a text to and easily chat with! She also connected us with wonderful vendors and managed all the communication for us, planning our wedding in 3 months - florist, cake, signage, live band, etc. The intimate wedding we ended up having was as beautiful as we dreamed it could be and we feel extremely lucky to have been able to get married in 2020 after everything. Thank you so much for making it all happen, Alesha!! -

I have met a lot of hard working people in my life but Alesha is at the top of the list! This girl is a hustler and will do whatever it takes to get to where she wants to be. She has put in the hours to learn and practice and experience the wedding industry and since she started de la Planning, I have seen her do nothing but succeed. I am a fellow wedding professional (planner also) and I believe it is important to forge strong relationships within our industry to build a support system. Alesha is part of that support system for me and I am so thankful to be able to have a reliable colleague to refer clients to when I am already booked or unavailable. Having her on your team is one of the best decisions you can make. She will take time to understand your vision, she will carefully walk with you through the process, and when your special day comes, Alesha makes sure that the day is perfect from start to finish. Reach out to her ASAP!!! -

"Hiring Alesha for our wedding was hands down the best decision I could have ever made while planning our wedding. Not only is she organized, professional, and incredibly talented at what she does-- she is just a straight up GEM! She's so sweet, so caring, and so much fun!
From the moment I met with her I could tell she was ultra passionate about her job. I knew that she loved her couples and her mission was to make their wedding perfect and stress free (which is exactly what she did for us on our big day).
As a budget conscience DIY Bride, I can confidently say that every wedding should AT LEAST have day-of-coordination. If you are a bride reading this now, I highly encourage you to hire her immediately!!! Honestly, if could go back in time, I would cut the budget short elsewhere, so I could have had Alesha help with the the entire planning of the wedding. Her professional input and experience would have saved a lot of time (and probably money) in the end.
I made the mistake of thinking that we could handle everything on our own-- only to realize a couple months out from the wedding that I was VERY wrong and should probably look into hiring a professional. I thought about asking family to help, but wisely realized that our family and friends are our guests too. We wanted them all to be able to relax and enjoy our wedding (which again is exactly what they did because of Alesha).
The entire day we ALL felt SO stress free and SO at ease. A couple weeks leading up to the wedding, she took over contact with all vendors and curated a super detailed timeline down to the minute that made the flow of the wedding work seamlessly. Alesha and her team handled everything from the big things-- like setup, timing, and coordination of vendors, all the way down to the little things like making sure we ate, making sure people were where they needed to be when they needed to be, and even helped carry my flowers so I could focus on not snapping my ankles walking through the vineyards in my tall heels. Alesha went above and beyond what any coordinator would ever do, wearing so many different hats.
I truly could go on and on about all the amazing things she did to make sure our day was perfect. So many of our guests mentioned what a great job she did and many of the vendors mentioned that she was the best coordinator they have ever worked with. I can't thank Alesha enough for every hour, minute, and second she dedicated to making our wedding the best day of our lives!!!! I would highly recommend and encourage anyone getting married to hire DeLa Planning! -

I found Alesha through the FB group, Something Borrowed, Something New. She was the only cooridnator I spoke with and hired without having met her. Here's my feedback. I can't say enough great things about Alesha.
PLANNING:
- She took the time to get to know me, the bride, as well as our love story, how we met, how my husband proposed, etc.
- Can't stress enough that even though we hired her as day-of-coordinator, she went above and beyond checking in me with a couple months out and as we got closer and closer to the wedding to make sure I was on top of all the details
- My husband and I went to get our engagement photos done ~4 months before the wedding and our photographer said that Alesha's already keeping in touch and excited to work with her for our wedding and it meant so much knowing that Alesha was already connecting with our vendors, introducing herself to them so far out.
- At our design meeting with our venue, she came prepared with a drafted timeline with questions to ask the venue to make sure she knew who would be providing what and what was needed from her and her team
- She by far has such an amazing personality, so much love for her clients and absolutely loves her job and it clearly shows in her professional and attention to detail in all aspects of wedding planning.
-She completely made my life easier, especially from the day we had our design meeting. She made contact with all my vendors, made sure she got their COIs, finalized our timeline for us, thought everything through down to every minute detail like which napkin fold we wanted, things I didn't even think we needed to think about.
REHEARSAL:
- She was punctual, introduced herself to everyone who came, even those not part of the wedding party, got to know our friends and family and also got down to business, guiding and assuring everyone of where they needed to be and what they needed to do.
- Made sure to see how we packed the décor in the cars so she could make sure to replicate when it came time to load everything back up. Also wanted to make sure she knew how I wanted things to be done, decorated, and placed throughout the venue.
- I went up to my MIL and told her I forgot the fake bouquet she made me from the wedding shower. Alesha reached into her bag, pulled out real bouquet of flowers and said "I got you girl." SO AMAZING!
WEDDING DAY:
- My girls and I got ready at a hotel vs. the venue and she came up hours early to stop by mine and my husband's hotel (we stayed in different hotels night before) so she and one of her assistants could introduce themselves to the group and drop off doughnuts.
- I completely trusted Alesha and her team as well as my vendors to setup and do an amazing job and everything came out beautifully. Better than I could've thought. Her and her team was constantly checking in on us to see how we were doing, making sure we had everything we needed, but still getting things done around the venue.
- During photos, one of her assistants, Meagan, stayed by us the entire time, had drinks ready for us in case we got thirsty and made sure to sweep my hair in the right position and flare my train so it always looked good.
Everyone noticed how professional, kind, friendly and attentive they were to not only us but to the guests and my husband and I received so many compliments on them. Alesha was truly a blessing for us. We couldn't have done our wedding without her. We were able to be carefree and enjoy our day, feel special and be pampered by her and her team.
Best assistants ever, Meagan and Carrie. Those girls were truly amazing. Best team ever. -

Highly recommend
I have been looking forward to writing this review for the past 10 months - ever since I started working with Alesha. She is so passionate about what she does, and it shows in her coordination. Her genuine interest in your vision and priorities makes it fun to reach out to her throughout the entire planning process. She won't miss any detail. I also love how calm, poised, and professional she is throughout the planning process.
The venue I booked ended up throwing many curve balls our way, including last minute changes to our parking arrangements, shuttle service, and timeline. After having everything confirmed, she had to completely redo these things. She made sure to take EVERYTHING off of my plate in the last couple of weeks by taking over all communications and wedding day details. She was so professional in every interaction.
I voiced a few things to her that I was concerned about in anticipation of our big day, and she responded to me "It's all going to be great. And if it's not, you won't have any idea because I will take care of it!" (Something along those lines) She lifted every burden so I could enjoy the process!
On the day of, all of my guests and wedding party fell in love with her. She was on top of everything, and had a smile on her face the whole time. Never once did anyone see her stressed out or frustrated. She handles wedding day like a boss!
All in all, you can count on Alesha to be on time, willing to help with anything, get along with everyone involved, and run an extremely smooth wedding. -

We loved Alesha!
I have so many great things to say about Alesha and her team, It's hard to organize this into a single review... but the main thing is that Alesha was without a doubt the perfect coordinator for us and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.
We had about 6 months to plan our wedding, which seemed like a lot of time at first but it went by so quickly. My (now) husband and I were pretty chill with our decision making and not too picky about what we wanted. On the wedding day she had two assistants who were both wonderful and their team made sure our day ran flawlessly.
Alesha as a person:
-So sweet and friendly, I wanted to be her friend from the beginning
-Calm and organized, which is so helpful during this hectic time. No idea how she stays on top of everything
-Genuine and truly cares about bringing your wedding vision to life
-Professional and has great communication skills!
The planning process:
-We had a general idea of what we wanted, and Alesha guided our thinking to plan out the details (like layout, wedding traditions we wanted included, timing of special dances at our receptions, etc)
-Asked the right questions to my vendors, one's that I wouldn't have thought to ask
-Helped me word emails to vendors
-Double checked my contracts
-Sent me recommendations for bakers and found me a great deal after our original baker discontinued the flavors we wanted
-Helped problem solve when we were stuck on decisions (for example, when looking for reception candles she found an option that was half the cost of the original ones we were looking at!)
-Responded to all my questions promptly
-Literally planned every detail
-Created a super detailed timeline and communicated with all the vendors involved in the set up and take down of the day
Wedding day:
-I surprisingly experienced no stress on my wedding day, and was amazed with how effortlessly the day went according to the timeline. It was really fun and cool to see everything play out as we had planned
-We had a day-of rehearsal which went super smooth because Alesha explained/communicated everything effectively
-My bridesmaids and I brought a bottle of Martinelli's apple cider which we didn't think to bring a bottle opener for, but Alesha came to the rescue literally 10 seconds after we found out we needed one
-There were little changes made throughout the day, which was no problem because Alesha made it happen
-All the vendors were communicating with Alesha and her assistants throughout the day so everyone was on the same page and knew what was expected
-Alesha fixed problems that came up, and I didn't even know about them until after the wedding
-My hair and makeup artists said she was the best coordinator they've ever worked with!
Even now I think back to our wedding day and think about how lucky we are that we found Alesha. She is truly one of a kind! -

Organization, Passion, Effectiveness. Without Dela Planning and their mastermind Alesha, our wedding day would have been very disorganized and stressful. From the time that we selected Alesha to coordinate our wedding, she promptly started going over all of the big details with us and even was able to walk through the venue with us to really help us envision the wedding. From there, she was in constant communication with us and scheduled different meetings to go over what needed to be done for the wedding. She put together layouts of the venue and was in constant communication with out suppliers to make sure that everything would fit just right and that it would all go smoothly. She also utilizes a talented network of wedding professionals to get the job done. We could tell that this is her passion because of how much she wanted to make the day perfect. On the day of Alesha and her team made sure that we were okay for the entire day and got to the venue early to prepare. The day flawlessly transitioned and Alesha made great decisions to improvise when necessary without any stress. Her positivity and good attitude made it easy for us to relax the entire day and we did not experience any nerves. She truly has a talent for event planning and we highly recommend her
