    Stunning flowers and great service

    We had De La Flor do flowers for both a small civil ceremony and our larger church ceremony and reception this year. Both times, the entire De La Flor team was lovely to work with, and accommodating with all of the changing circumstances due to Covid. Particularly for our larger celebration, they created beautiful floral arrangements that perfectly complimented our venue and overall event design. Can't recommend them enough!

    Perfect! Extremely Helpful! Friendly!

    My husband & I recently got married on Jan. 25, 2020. We went with De La Flor for our flowers. When I first met with Deborah, I really had no idea what I truly wanted but I knew I wanted to keep it rustic. She showed me pictures of things to give me an idea of exactly what I was thinking of. Little did I know, she would be right on when it came to me not knowing exactly what I wanted. The pictures she showed me & the ideas she was giving me were exactly what I had in mind. Throughout the entire process, Deborah & her staff were so helpful & always made me feel as if my wedding was the only one that mattered. They even worked with me to include elements of my own. When I walked into my venue before anyone else arrived, I was blown away! Everything was absolutely perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better florist. I am beyond thankful for Deborah & her team! The bouquets, boutonnières, table arrangements & cake flowers were unbelievable. Even a week later, my bouquet still looked like it did the night of my wedding! Thank you, De La Flor!

    This florist is truly amazing. Considers every detail budget, time of event, style of event, right down to the dress during the consultation to determine what flowers would be best to use. Amazing. You come up with an idea for the wedding and she will run with it. Our reception centerpieces elevated above the table simply blew your mind when you waked in and she select flowers with a beautiful scent to flow over the room. Flowers included the church, the cocktail hour, the wedding reception, the seating charts, bouquets, corsages, & boutonnierses. The works and she was on time.

    Deborah and her team are amazing when it came to putting my flowers together.
    All I had to do was tell her the type of flowers I liked and wanted, what kind of theme it was and she told me if the flowers would match the theme or not and if not then she gave me other types of flowers that would go well with the theme. After I got to my venue after doing my hair and make up my flowers were already there and they were absolutely beautiful!!!! I had a winter wonderland theme she added a touch of bling, a Christmas branch and my flowers were White Roses and hydrangeas with baby's breath, my maid of honor had white mini roses and royal blue hydrangeas to match the colors, my bridesmaids had white mini roses and light blue hydrangeas with cute skinny green Christmas leaves and my 2 flower girls had pink kissing balls with a pretty pink lace ribbon to carry the flowers down the aisle. I'm extremely happy with how my flowers came out and I will definitely use Deborah and he team again anytime I need flowers.

    De La Flor was referred to me by my employer who orders flowers every year for Dr. I went and met the staff and was welcomed and instantly given a great experience. Deborah and her staff (family) are amazing and are artists. They made my wedding day enchanting. My flowers were exactly what I wanted. I will recommend them.

    Deborah and Gus De La Flor did the absolute most gorgeous flower arrangements for our wedding at The Cooper Estate in February! My mother-in-law and I flew in from California to meet with Gus in November 2013 and reviewed the look and feel we wanted, complete with pictures. The meeting went well and we received a proposal within the week! Deborah and Gus were very willing and understanding to work with us to meet our budget, including floral substitutions and even allowing us to provide several centerpieces, some California native greenery and bouquet additions. My mother-in-law (who handled the floral aspect of the wedding, since she is a florist) had nothing but positive things to say about Deborah after speaking or emailing with her, and she really loved how responsive and flexible Deborah was. Seeing our bouquets was a very exciting moment, but my favorite part of the wedding day was walking into our reception hall before our guests and seeing the amazing centerpieces. Being able to finally see what you've been trying explaining for months and how it turned out EXACTLY how you've envisioned is a jaw-dropping, goose-bump, tears-stinging-your-eyes moment. I would highly recommend De La Flor Gardens for any event requiring a florist with a creative eye, a willingness to work with you and be flexible within your budget.

    I loved Deborah at De La Flor Gardens! She is the biggest sweetheart on Earth. You really get the feeling that she is dedicated to her work, and her finished products are truly beautiful - a reflection of her personality and passion for the floral industry.

    When I first met Deborah I had no idea what my flowers were going to look like. Honestly, it wasn't until I saw them that I really found the perspective. But the way she described the arrangement to me, she really took the time to figure out all the details of my wedding (what was important to me, my colors, my favorite flowers). And she dreamt up this bouquet that truly was my ideal wedding bouquet.

    It was very important to me that my grandparents photos were incorporated in the bouquet too - as they had passed away and I wanted them as close to me on my wedding day as possible. I found some cameo charms at Michael's and Deborah knew exactly how she was going to place them the second she saw them.

    I'm so happy I went with her. She is just a gorgeous woman, inside and out, and she truly takes the time to get to know you and shares in the excitement of your wedding. She's affordable, professional and easy to get in touch with should you have any last minute questions or concerns. USE HER!

    Exceptional and unique floral arrangement that suited my personality and eclectic style. I was so happy with the halos and kissing balls! My flower girls were adorable! You did a really great job. I have no complaints. Thank you.

    My flowers were GORGEOUS!!!! Gus & Debbie were very receptive to my desires and used their floral creativity and expertise to give me exactly what I dreamed of! I was thrilled with the arrangements that were made for our reception and bouquets. My bridal bouquet was absolutely perfect!!! I loved it! De La Flor Gardens was the perfect choice for my florist! I couldn't have been happier and will definitely use them for any future floral needs :)

    Debbie and Gus were fantastic to work with. The flowers looked great and everything was done on time. Very professional. Highly recommend. They communicated very well and always kept us informed along the way.

    After shopping around and receiving extremely high quotes from several local florists, my husband and I were amazed by De La Flor! Deborah is creative yet flexible and mindful of a budget. We brought pictures of arrangements to our first meeting and Deborah ran with the ideas. She doesn’t just replicate pictures; she puts her own spin on them which makes her work unique. I was in love with my blue orchid and peacock feather bouquet! De La Flor surpassed our wedding day expectations and I highly recommend their services.

    We chose De La Flor gardens for our wedding on January 17, 2015. We had shopped around a bit, but from the moment we met Gus and Deborah, and saw their beautiful offices with the store and gardens, we knew we’d found our florists!! We first met with Gus, who gave us a great price on the flowers – certainly better than the 4-5 people we talked with before. We then met Deborah, who is a genius with flower arrangements. We felt very safe with them running the show.

    The day of our wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The De La Flor team showed up on time, set everything up, and were out of there before we or any of the guests arrived. The cocktail hour and reception room looked AMAZING!! The two altar arrangements at the church were beautiful, too. As for the main reception room, Deborah and the team made the centerpieces look incredible (we had selected relatively small centerpieces, but Deborah assured us that she would make the most out of them and look twice as big - that is exactly what happened). Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful the flowers were. And I love how they turned out!!

    The bride and her bridesmaids LOVED, LOVED, LOVED their bouquets!! It was just exactly what the bride envisioned and Deborah and Gus took our comments into consideration. And the flowers on the cake were AWESOME – so, so beautiful.

    De La Flor was fantastic, well-priced, and extremely professional. We will definitely go back if we need them for future events and have recommended them to all our friends getting married. Thank you, De La Flor!!

    I used De La Flor Gardens for my wedding on May 31, 2014. I used to be a florist myself and was actually looking for bulk flowers to order so that I could arrange them myself. Gus was very professional and offered me a good price for my flowers. He also offered to finish them up at a good price if I ran into any issues at the last minute.

    The week before I was to pick up my flowers, De La Flor called me to confirm my order, which was nice. I picked up my flowers the day before the wedding and they were fresh and exactly what I ordered. Gus offered to help with the set up as the venue only allowed set up right before the wedding and I had no one to handle that for me. For a very reasonable price, Gus's team handled this for me and I didn't have to worry. I just dropped the finished arrangements to them before the wedding and they took care of the rest.

    This florist is professional and reasonably priced. If I need something again, I'll definitely be using them.

    I loved my flowers, even if the colors were a little off of what I was expecting. The centerpieces were gorgeous, and everything was set up to our specifications.

    Deborah de la Flor is BRILLIANT! She can turn your color choice into something unique and spectacular and still keep it in your budget. I also love that they only use the freshest flowers so you are assured that your bouquet will be perfect on your wedding day.

    Awesome combination of flowers!

    We selected De La Flor for our daughters January wedding and were delighted . We asked for an assortment of exotic flowers in shades of aubergine. The result was an impressive combination of unusual purple/aubergine flowers: white calla lilies with aubergine centers, purple kale, blue thistles and unusual greens in many textures and shades. Awesome!! If you can get past the owner's bad temper, you will be very pleased with the amazing arrangements!

    When meeting with the florist I had several meetings with 2 different people at the store. I brought in specific pictures of what I wanted (especially for the cake, which did not look anything like the picture I had brought in) but I must say that when I received my bouquets and saw the set up, they were not what I had expected. They basically went ahead and took my version and worked it into what they liked. They didn't look bad but it definitely wasn't what I had envisioned.

    My initial contact with this florist was very pleasant. However, the arrangements they delivered were not as agreed. The flowers were puny and totally out of scale with the 16" vase they were in. They looked ridiculous. I arrived at the venue a couple of hours before the event and called to offer them the opportunity to remedy the problem and the owner hung up on me. I had to go to a nearby flower shop and buy more flowers. As my guests arrived I was cutting and putting flowers in the vases while in my party gown. The photographer commented on how the original arrangement was inadequate.

    BEWARE of DE LA FLOR GARDENS IN COOPER CITY FLORIDA!!! Although they indicate that they have a satisfaction guarantee policy, my encouter with one of the owners, Gus on Monday, February 10, 2014 was a horrid one. I ordered an arrangement of 24 red roses to be delivered to my mom for her 75th birthday on February 7, 2014. The order arrived however, the roses delivered were already in full bloom and she feared they wouldn't last into to the next day, let alone last a full week. My mom advised the delivery driver of her concerns and asked that he return the flowers to the shop. I ended the call with my mom and contacted the florist. I spoke with Gus (part-owner) and husband of Deborah (designer and owner). He indicated to me that he had already been notified by the driver and would send a out a replacement bouquet. Today, February 10, 2014, I received a call from my mom advising that the flowers looked as if they were dying.

    I immediately contacted Gus (part-owner) and advised that the flowers were dying and not going to last the 10 days as promised. Gus began to raise his voice and talk over me indicating that he has lost money on this order and that it has cost him double what I originally spent. I advised Gus that he was speaking to a client that has used his services once in the past. He interruped me and went on to say, and I quote "It's not the flowers that are old, it is your mom that is old". He then indicated that I should go and "F*ck" myself and not call his store again. He then hung up on me. I immediately called him back and told him that I could not believe how he was speaking to me. I had not used any swear words with him and did not attack him. I called to advise him that I was not satisfied with the order. I advised Gus that I would never again use his florist shop for any services and would never recommend anyone, ever, to this florist shop. His demeanor was uncalled for and very,very unprofessional.
