Excellent Videographer

Daylight Films was an easy choice for our wedding video! My sister had Daylight Films as her wedding videographer, and I chose them as well without any hesitation! Mike and Jess were so easy to work with both in the planning stages and on the actual wedding day. Their video shots were excellent, and they are also able to capture other video shots without making it obvious, getting great details and candid moments throughout the day. We absolutely loved working with Daylight Films and would highly recommend them!

Dream team for wedding video

Michael and Jessica were truly a dream team for our wedding day! We wanted both the highlight video and the full edit video and we are so glad that we chose both options! After our wedding, we felt like it went by in a blur. Once we received our videos, we felt so grateful to Michael and Jessica because they captured every moment and detail perfectly so that we were able to remember how wonderful and special our wedding day was. We have watched our 7 minute highlight video many times in the past 2 years because of how beautifully they captured our day! There is so much joy, happiness, and love captured throughout the day between us and our loved ones that we are always smiling and tearing up when we watch it. Our full edit video was also completely worth it because there are certain details we would have definitely not remembered. We are so grateful to be able to recall every speech, dance, moment of our wedding ceremony and mass, and bit of partying that Michael and Jess captured!

On top of incredible videos to remember the best day of our lives, Michael and Jess were wonderful to work with, understanding of our needs, and very professional. Even when Michael was very ill with covid, Jess was updating us on the status of our video. We were extremely impressed by this. We would recommend Daylight Films & Videos to all of our friends and family because our experience with them could not have been better!

Absolutely wonderful!!!

Jess and Mike were spectacular!! My husband and I went back and forth on deciding if we wanted videography for our wedding and we are so glad we made the decision to go for it! Our wedding day was the most magical day we could have imagined and having it captured by Jess and Mike allowed us to relive that perfect day all over and watch all the special moments of that day! The day flew by so it is so special to us to have this to look back on and watch together! We are so glad we chose to work with daylight films, they are such sweet people and extremely professional!! We would highly recommend them to every bride and groom, you will not regret it!!!

Amazing Video, and such a kind couple!

Working with Mike and Jess was truly great. They were so kind and professional, and very easy to communicate with. They were helpful throughout the planning process, and very accommodating to our wishes for our video. Having a video of our wedding was a priority to us, and something we can't wait to watch with our future children. The video truly captured the day, and helped us relive all the special moments. The quality is outstanding, and they caught all the small things that we didn't get to experience during our fun but busy day! They were so great to work with, and we can't recommend them enough!

Love the highlight video

Jess and Mike were great to work with for our wedding! We appreciated their willingness to meet with us to discuss the different package options and to share clips of past videos. They were always great about responding to emails very quickly and went the extra mile to meet with our other vendors at our church a few months before the wedding to scope out the best drone shots and ways to stay hidden during the ceremony. Our highlight video had everyone fighting back tears and the full edit video captured all of the details of the day beautifully. We have been enjoying our “video viewing parties” as we get to relive our special day!

Awesome to work with!

From my first communication with Jessica and Michael, I knew my wedding video experience was going to be in good hands. They were so warm and easygoing and very communicative. Just from viewing their other videos they had made I was so excited to hire them. Before the wedding, day of the wedding and afterwards they did not disappoint! I was a barrel of nerves on my wedding day and Jessica's easy friendly demeanor was quite comforting. We almost had to call Jessica in for backup to button my dress! I was SO excited to view our trailer. We had posted it on our facebook page and received so many compliments. Jessica and Michael's work speaks for itself. My husband and I received the full video the other day and it is amazing! I want to watch it everyday. I told them I wish I could get married again just so I can hire them again and I truly meant it. 100% recommend Daylight!

Amazing final products!

We highly recommend Daylight (Jessica and Michael). From the first communication, Jessica was responsive, thoughtful, warm, and genuinely excited about our wedding. We met with Jess in-person and we knew right from the start that this was our videographer. Her professionalism and sincerity were obvious. We reviewed their portfolio and it left us emotional.
Our wedding day had a number of logistical aspects to it. We had bridal prep in the Biltmore hotel, groom prep at a men’s spa/barber shop, the ceremony at a church, and the reception about twenty minutes away from the church. Well in advance, Daylight took the time to help us organize and plan for each of these parts. Logistically, it was challenging, but Jess and Mike made it easy and seamless.
Daylight captured great footage of the groomsmen getting shaves and haircuts. They took the time to include some stills and pans capturing the masculine atmosphere. They also shot some gorgeous footage of bridal prep. Daylight had great attention to detail and was very prepared. They even brought a hanger and hook for hanging and filming my dress over the bed!
At the church, Jess placed a mic inconspicuously on my husband-to-be. When we watched the final product, were loved that the mic caught some candid whispers between us. During the ceremony, Daylight filmed from a number of effective angles and panned and zoomed at all the right times. They captured the entrance, vows, ring exchange, and exit smoothly and aesthetically. During the formal photos, Jess and Mike were amazing. They shot great film of us and our family and wedding party.
The drone, the drone, this was one of the best parts! Mike skillfully flew the drone in gusty winds on our wedding day. He shot footage from over the church and waterfront, as we arrived by boat. This was absolutely amazing and well worth it!
Daylight continued to capture all the key aspects and parts of our reception. From the entrances, to the first dance, prayer, and cake cutting, all of the video came out awesome; really capturing the picturesque views that we loved.
Our wedding day felt like it went so fast, but Daylight was able to document and preserve so much of it for us to share and appreciate forever. Another amazing thing about Jess and Mike is the way they shoot. We barely knew that they were there. They are so skilled that they slip around shooting without interrupting or even slightly getting in the way.
Within about six weeks, Daylight sent us an amazing seven-minute highlight video. Simply put, it is phenomenal. About a week later, and after the final payment, they completed the full video. It is just under two hours and is outstanding. The music, angles, and the finishing is perfect; an amazing sampling of the night. Watching it makes us feel like we were right there, in the moment. The final product went above and beyond and left us breathless. For all of these reasons, and more, we highly recommend Daylight!

Jess & Mike were great!

Jess and Mike made our wedding day memories last forever because we chose them for our videographer. They made us feel comfortable and worked really had to capture every moment on our big day! My husband and I got married in June and were originally on the fence about hiring a Videographer. After some serious thought (and budgeting) we decided that we were going to. Our Photographer recommended Daylight Films & Video to us. After speaking on the phone to Jessica it was a no brainer. Her warmth and compassion for her and her husband's work was palpable. Her and Michael were honest and professional throughout our entire wedding planning process.

Jessica and Michael made my husband and I feel comfortable from our "getting ready" time, to our ceremony and our reception. They captured not only our big moments, but also the small moments most people would overlook. Through watching our highlight video we were able to relive the best day of our lives. We first met with Mike and Jess after our photographer recommended them to us. We knew if a great photographer was recommending them, they would be really good to work with. Mike and Jess did not disappoint. We were very pleased with the overall process with them and the videos they do are amazing! We saw a good selection of videos when we first met with them and then met with a few other videographers. None compared to Mike and Jess's work! Not only did they have our highlight video done in less than 2 weeks, we had the full video waiting for us after our 2 week honeymoon. My husband and I got married 11/11/17 and are so thrilled that we chose Daylight Films to capture our wedding day. We had originally decided against videographer due to budget constraints but less than three months before the wedding we decided to stretch the budget to include video and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. Michael and Jessica were so accommodating, prompt, attentive and kind from the first day we contacted them. They were a pleasure to have present at our wedding, there when we needed them and nearly invisible otherwise. We just received our hilight video and final full video less than two months after the wedding and we are so in love with all of the beautiful, fun, candid and meaningful moments they captured. We can’t wait to share the video with our friends and family and someday our children. If you’re on the fence about videographer my advice is to absolutely do it and you couldn’t make a better decision than to go with Daylight FIlms to capture all the magical moments of one of the most wonderful days of your life!!

Michael and Jessica were an absolute pleasure to work with and we are truly blown away by the final result of our video. We decided on a 10 minute highlight video and shared a few of our ideas with Mike, who went above and beyond to incorporate everything we wanted and edited it beautifully into THE perfect love story video. No boring moments, caught the whole day, from getting ready to end of the night dancing, and aligned it all perfectly to our wedding song. It’s literally the most beautiful video ever (I may be biased) and we are SO glad we ended up getting one. We got married in September and couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Daylight Weddings & Films to capture our special day. They were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the informational phase prior to booking and helped answer all of our questions and concerns. On the day of, they arrived on time and were really friendly to everyone...and the best thing was we didn't even notice they were there! They only took a few moments at various scenes to film special requests, but the rest of the time they blended into the background which is exactly what we wanted. Fast forward to when we received our highlight video and we were IN LOVE with the end result! Our friends and family all told us they cried during it, and we have watched it on repeat so happy with how it all turned out. We loved how we were able to get some of the edited raw footage as well to relive the ceremony and some of the other moments in the wedding we didn't get a chance to see in person. Daylight Films & Video did an AMAZING job of filming and editing our wedding in August 2017. Mike and Jess were always available to ask questions and they had great communication. They did a wonderful job making my husband and I feel comfortable. They filmed my sisters wedding back in February and our family has come to love them both. Thank you! They also worked well with our photographer and the proof was in the video. It was so nice to look back on our special day and relive those amazing moments. And the interviews, BEYOND FABULOUS! So funny to watch and highly recommend incorporating those into your wedding video. :-) We plan to watch our wedding video on our anniversary each year and can't wait to begin this new tradition thanks to the two of you! Jess and Mike are absolutely amazing! From the minute we contacted them, we were sure we would use them for our Videography! They made us feel like Celebrities on our wedding day, without being intrusive to our personal space at all, or making us feel like we were being recorded. Daylight Films & Video did a phenomenal job of filming and editing our wedding, 1 year ago today! (September 2016) They had great communication from the get-go and clear, fair pricing. I was nervous about feeling awkward in front of the cameras all day, but I was very wrong - they were seemingly invisible to us whilst recording and I forgot that they were even there! Jess and Mike were super nice and professional! We were referred to them by a friend, and after seeing some of their sample videos and meeting with Jess, we happily decided to hire them for our wedding. My husband was adamant that we have a videographer to capture our wedding, and he couldn’t be happier with how the planning process and wedding day went. The entire day went smoothly, from the ceremony throughout the reception. I was really worried about having too many people in my face during the night, but I hardly noticed they were there! They were able to capture a surprise groomsmen dance and even uploaded a video later that night! We cannot express how happy we are that we chose to work with Mike and Jessica at Daylight Weddings. This was one of the best decisions we made in our planning process. Not only are Mike and Jessica great at what they do, they are extremely easy to work with. We are so appreciative of the time they spent capturing every moment of our wedding and the thought and effort that went in to creating a beautiful highlight video along with our full ceremony and reception video. I hired Daylight for my Sept wedding at Blithewold. Jess and Mike did an AMAZING job on my wedding video! They were great, you didn't even know they were there and they made an awesome video. The price was excellent, although FYI their prices have gone up since, still very affordable though. The only thing I would've liked to see different was more of the reception before the dancing. Two thirds of the wedding video was the guest dancing . that was great but I also would have liked to see my husband and I talking to the other guest etc. I would highly recommend them and I am so glad I hired them for my wedding video!

At first we wanted to save money and just get a photographer. But I am so glad we went with a videographer and choose Daylight Films. Mike and Jessica were absolutely amazing! The video and editing is top notch. I cry every time I watch the highlight video (which has probably already been 20 times). It brings tears to my eyes and a smile on my face at the same time. It is amazing what they were able to capture and I am so glad we went with them. It is going to be one of my most prized possessions and something we will truly treasure forever! Thank you for an amazing job!

Jessica and Michael are amazing. My wedding day was one of the best days ever. Michael and Jessica captured so many special moments with family and friends. Moments that we will never get back and are forever captured (my two 90 year old aunts getting down on the dance floor!). My wedding was 6 months ago and I often look at the video alone, with my husband, family or friends and still smile, laugh and cry. I spoke with a friend recently who was not able to make the wedding but still views the video and cries every time! Daylight was recommended by my makeup artist and we were so excited that they were available for our date when we booked. We already had 2 photographers and were concerned that 2 videographers would be a lot of paparazzi, but Jessica explained how they work and I'm so happy we agreed to have both of them! Not only did they work excellently with the photography team and were discreet and super professional on the wedding day, but the videos came out absolutely amazing !!! Getting the shareable highlight video was a great touch, and we loved and will love getting to relive our wedding every time we watch. We love seeing the parts of the wedding that we were not present for too! people sitting and the cocktail hour...Daylight seamlessly captured the magical whimsy of the day .

Michael Day videotaped my son and daughter-in law's wedding last month, and had it edited and in our hands just a month later, cooperating with our need to have it quickly for my son's in-laws to take back to China this week. My son did not request an elaborate video, but even so, Michael did an elegant job editing the footage and inserting a few clips showing the venue, the table-settings, the flowers. The finished product is stunning! Michael provided a lapel microphone to the groom so that the ceremony was easily audible, clearer in fact than during the outdoor ceremony. We celebrated all over again watching the video! I highly recommend Daylight Weddings & Films (Michael Day and Jess Drew Day).

Daylight was very friendly and accommodating from the start. Jess was quick to respond to any questions we had.
Our videographers that day were Dave and Chris and they were awesome!! I kept forgetting they were there but they got everything!!!
The video came out amazing. They really captured the day for us.
I am also really happy we got the highlight video. The highlight video is short, so you can watch it over and over and post it on social media. I cry every time I watch it. We have gotten a ton of feedback on Facebook and everyone loves the highlight video!!

Jessica and Michael did an amazing job! They captured all of the important moments of our wedding. We have gotten a ton of positive feedback from friends and family on our highlight video. Jessica and Michael were able to perfectly summarize our whole wedding into a 7 minute video which captures the best parts in the perfect order. We loved that the video wasn't in chronological order and how the flow was so artistic and beautiful. In addition, Michael and Jessica were also very responsive, helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. They were extremely quick in turning around our highlight and full videos after the wedding. Jessica and Michael provided a great service and a quality product. They were so wonderful to work with and captured such beautiful footage. Also they separate the DVD into various big moments including getting ready/ceremony/formals/speeches etc. which makes it so easy to share with other people without having to watch an entire 8 hour video. Lastly, our highlight video is so incredible and special - it's so nice to share with family and friends that were not able to attend and to watch together whenever we want to look back on our special day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer that is professional, courteous, and extremely talented.

Jess and Mike were absolutely amazing! They portrayed every detail perfectly in our highlight video, everybody absolutely loved it! I highly recommend Daylight Films to anyone looking to have amazing video done of their special day. They are very accommodating and did a fantastic job with every piece of capturing our special day. Everything about the video we have is simply perfect. We will cherish it for the rest of our lives. My friends and family were so impressed with the overall final product that they were begging to watch it again! Mike and Jess were always so friendly and easy to work with. It was lots of fun, too! We are both so happy we picked Daylight Films to capture our wedding on 6.6.15. They did a fantastic job filming and editing the whole event. Our guests adored our videographer, Mike, and after watching our video it was like he was in two places at once at times! Besides during our formal picture sessions we barely felt him there so it allowed us to be natural and it showed in our videos. We decided to get a highlight film with our package and the editing was top-notch. He pieced the entire day into 4 minutes seamlessly and he made the song we chose go with the footage beautifully. The memories he captured that day will be something we treasure forever. On top of their A+ work, they were a pleasure to work with. Jess was so helpful in piecing together our package to fit our needs and they offer a payment schedule that makes budgeting easy. The best wedding decision we made was to hire a videographer and choosing them - highly recommended!

Mike and Jess were awesome. When we weren't really sure about a videographer because everyone says "you only watch the video once" they make you feel comfortable and show you how important the video is. They were so down to earth and made you feel so comfortable, since you aren't use to having a camera follow you around all day. We almost didn't do a video (thought we could just do photos and save money). Mike and Jess told us to trust them and it was worth it. Mike and Jess have been accommodating and family oriented since my initial contact with them. We decided last minute to find a videographer for our wedding, and I cannot imagine not having done so. In addition, we couldn't have picked a better company to work with. They are flexible and caring and take pride in their videos. They were friendly and worked well with our photographer which made the day fun and stress free for me as a bride! The editing was wonderfully completed, everyone looked great, and the shots flowed nicely. They used a perfect combination of music from the ceremony and band, as well as music that suited us as a couple. After having spoken with me only a couple of times on the phone and on Skype, they seemed to capture on video exactly who we are as a family. They were quick and efficient in capturing the day as well as in finalizing their product! We received the video within a month of the wedding, before anything else!

It's hard to express in words what Mike and Jess were able to give to us. We did not only relive the day, but we viewed it from a completely new perspective. We saw some pieces of the day for the very first time. We experienced it together with our family. The video made us laugh, cry, and smile as we felt every emotion all over again!!

Thank you for your ability to create something so special! What a wonderful gift to have!

I was EXTREMELY impressed with my interactions with Daylight Weddings & Films from the beginning of my wedding planning process through the delivery. Jessica and Mike were always very responsive, and willing to meet with me around my crazy work schedule. As soon as I saw previous videos, and videos they made at our venue in particular, I knew I wanted to work with them! Every step of the planning process, Jessica and Mike were informative and all-around great. Mike was also wonderful the day of the wedding...I left knowing we'd have some great footage. I was also shocked at how fast I received my highlight video (within a week of the wedding), and the discs (within a month of the wedding)...and the quality of both are FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend Daylight as your videographer. The prices are reasonable for what you get and its a pleasure to work with Jess and Mike! They were professional throughout the entire process and transparent about everything. Mike put up with all our shenanigans throughout the entire day and catered to our needs on our special day. The film truly captured every moment from beginning until the end. Choosing a videographer is very important since your wedding day goes by with the blink of an eye. Daylight films holds a special place in my heart. I was intern for Mike and Jess and I got to experience their amazing wedding videos first hand. Mike and Jess from Daylight Films are simply fantastic. My sister hired them last year for her wedding and after seeing the quality of their service and product it was easy for me to choose them as my wedding video vendor. They are not only professional and easy to work with, but they truly care about capturing the emotion of the day. It is an understatement to say that we LOVE our wedding video. Every time I watch it, I am taken back to that wonderful day – it is magical. Only a video can show the raw emotions of that day. Jessica did an amazing job on our wedding video! The day was such a blur that it was wonderful to get to relive all the special moments. We couldn't be happier with the end result! The color and sound quality was great. Throughout the day, Jessica and her assistant were professional, worked well with the photographers and other vendors, stayed out of the way, and yet were able to capture everything. From the time my husband and I walked into their studio, we knew that Mike & Jess were the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. They were amazing from the start; Jess showed us several of the videos that they did, one from the same venue and we couldn't believe how beautiful the video was. They were so helpful and friendly and so incredibly nice and very professional that we did not bother to meet any of the other videographers who were recommended to us. To be honest, the video was an afterthought for my daughter and fiancé, but after meeting with Mike and Jess we insisted on hiring them. All I can say is "thank God we did"! They completed the video in a couple of weeks, which was amazing to us and we were able to watch it last night. It was beyond our expectations and felt like we were at the wedding all over again, seeing things we did not see and seeing things we forgot because of all the excitement. We are so thankful to Mike and Jess for allowing us to remember this special day in our familiy's lives over and over again and I can't say it enough, you will be so happy that you hire them for your special day, because they are truly the nicest people and really have a passion for their work and you will be so pleased with everything from start to finish. I met Jess and Mike at the Newport Bridal Show and right away I knew I no longer needed to look for a videographer. Videography was not originally in my budget, but after meeting Mike and Jess, and seing their work, it became a had to have item. I am so glad that we got our wedding video. I have watched my video many times and surprisingly my husband has too. I love reliving my day, and really getting to see all the little details. Mike and Jess were such a joy to work with, and I would absolutely recommed using them. My sister was so convinced after seeing my video that she went and hired them for her wedding too!

We loved having Daylight film our wedding. We received the video within 2 WEEKS- amazing! It was like being at our wedding all over again. Things we forgot or did not get to see were captured, and it was just such good quality! They were FABULOUS! They were timely in communication and then on the day of, they were professional and flexible (they stayed an extra hour on a moment's notice). We loved them!

I met Jess and Mike at a bridal expo in Newport Rhode Island. At this point in my wedding planning I did not have a venue or anything. I was simply enjoying the engaged life and wanted to go to my first wedding expo. (I wasn't even planning on having a videographer.) They were just so awesome and I knew I wanted to work with them as soon as I met them. My fiance and I went to their shop in RI and Mike and Jess showed us multiple movies and explained the different packages. They were so warming and aren't all about buisness. This is what separates them from everyone else. Jess helped me with wedding planning beyond the video. She helped me find songs and gave me different ideas for my beach themed wedding. Jess reminded me of different things to bring to my wedding so, the video would have those small details like my wedding invitation. (things you really don't think of) Jess stayed in touch with me the entire year leading up to my wedding.
On the day of our wedding her and her husband arrived early but, not too early. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. They weren't just "another vendor". They truly want to be part of your special day.
Our video is unreal, just so special. They took the time to photograph all of the things that meant so much to me. They never got in the way and were so professional to my guests. I couldn't imagine our special day without Mike and Jess.
I am Thankful that I met these two special people. I can't stop watching my video!! The quality is perfect. It looks like a video out of the movies. I have gotten so many compliments on the amazing job that they did!

Mike and Jessica will totally exceed your expectations. We just received the video from our daughter's wedding. They are true professionals. The lighting and clarity of filming was excellent. They also have an exceptional talent for capturing those special moments just the way you experienced them that day. My daughter and son-in-law were going to just have a photographer. Jessica and Mike are rarely seen, yet do an amazing job. They shot the wedding with difficult lighting - a bright sunset and a pretty dark dance floor. Watching the video, you would never know it. They are available for any questions you may have and you'll love Jessica. They are a couple that will really CARE about you and your family and do whatever it takes to make the video exceptional for you. I have never written a review before but felt strong about this one. At first we were unsure of whether or not to have a videographer for our wedding. We happened to find Daylight on the web and thought we'd meet with them. They were the one and only videographers we met with. As soon as we saw some of their video clips, and found out how nice they were in person we were hooked. They pay so much attention to detail and really enjoy what they do, this shines through in their work.

On the wedding day, Michael and Jessica made us feel very comfortable having them filming us. With their direction they were able to capture some amazing moments during the "photo session", and were a seamless integration during the reception. It was a really fun experience. Having a team that knew what they were doing and had vision was so helpful.

Along with our package, we chose to go with a highlight video. It was beautiful! We are so proud to send it over to all our friends and family. The perfect piece of an amazing day with an exceptional team.

Mike and Jess were an absolute pleasure to work with. I was pretty stressed on my wedding day and they kept me calm and smiling, while taking beautiful footage. I purchased a package with the typical, longer video (roughly 2 hours) and a highlight video. The highlight video is awesome - it really captures all the big moments of the day. They sent it to me online so I could share with family and friends. I can't tell you how many people have told me it made them cry, they were just touched by how beautiful it is. The longer video is great too - you can see how much fun all the guests had dancing. Our only regret is not booking Daylight until the end of our wedding (we had footage stop an hour early). I also think the product we got was great value for the money. We did not put aside a large amount of money from our budget for a videographer, so I was really pleased we were able to get something so professional and special for a reasonable price. They also sent both videos about 5 weeks after our wedding. It was great to have the quick turnaround! They are amazing!

I just received my highlight video from Mike and Jess at Daylight Films and I am utterly amazed. I finally stopped watching it on repeat to take the time and write this well-deserved review. Mike and Jess are the absolute BEST! The moment we met them we knew we found our videographers; we were instantly comfortable with them and honestly felt like we were working with family. They are true professionals and you can tell they really enjoy and take pride in what they do. The video is unbelievable – the details and the quality beyond anything I ever expected. Mike and Jess work as a fantastic team from the beginning of the process to the end. Every email was answered right away - I NEVER had to worry with them. On the day of the wedding I arrived late to my bridal suite and Jess and Mike had gone above and beyond and already staged the room helping everything run so smoothly and on time! They took control and I knew I was in good hands. I can’t believe the result!!! The video is the most PRECIOUS thing I own. If you haven’t decided if video is something you need let me tell you that YES IT IS! I would cut so many other things from my wedding before the video – it really is a MUST. Your wedding day is special and it goes by so fast. I am so thankful that I have this amazing video to relive all these precious memories over and over again. I can almost feel the breeze and smell the flowers while watching – it takes me right back there! If your looking for a professional videographer daylight is it! I took alot of time shopping for my videographer pricing, locatiion, etc..When Jessica Day answered the phone I knew within 15 minutes of talking to her that I was hiring Daylight. Jess and Mike were awesome! They were great to work with and were very helpful. They were always there when we needed them and made the day go by smoothly! Our family and friends loved the video and can't get enough of it! They were always available when we needed them and were amazing to work with. Even when we changed at the last minute to do a first look at the beginning a little earlier than scheduled and to arrive in a limo when that was not the original plan they were there to capture the moment! They made everything stress free and I could not have asked for better. I am so happy we chose them and I cannot wait to watch our video for years to come!! Highly recommended!

I could not recommend Daylight enough! GREAT value, wonderful people to work with. In the days after the wedding I was getting emails fwith screenshot photos from the video of special moments. They were very professional throughout the day and were SO nice. The little things like that just made their service all the more special. I am so glad that we got a videographer because we get to "re-live" our wedding again and again whenever we feel like it and we have Daylight to thank for it!

Mike and Jess were amazing to work with!! You can see from their work that they really care about you and your wedding. They were so easy to work with on our wedding day. My husband and I hired Michael and Jessica after probably doing more research than anyone in the world would do on a videographer. But I am a little OCD about things that I want to be perfect, especially after knowing a few friends that hated their wedding videos so much they told me I shouldnt bother paying for one...I loved the work I was able to see online especially their highlight videos, and after meeting and speaking to them the first time I felt very comfortable hriing them over anyone else I had talked to. They seemed very proud of the quality of their work and wanting to have that reflected in our wedding video. We recieved the video last night and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! It captures our spirit and feel in the way it was put togther just for us...I have watched many of their other highlights and its clear that each one is catered towards the coupples personality..I could not be happier!! On the day of the wedding they were very professional and not in the way!!! I cant say enough everthing was great and I highly highly reccomend them!!! We booked Daylight after hearing terrible things about our original videographer. Jessica was very informative in our initial meeting and made us feel completely comfortable with their company. Their work was very impressive and their turn around time was even more impressive. We booked with them that night and felt completely at ease with our decision. The day of the wedding, they showed up at my parent's house and videoed the girls and I getting ready. They were completely unobtrusive during the ceremony, we didn't even know they were there but they were still able to get beautiful footage. Mike was able to get details that my photographer missed, he had so many ideas for fun and interesting shots. At the end of their contracted time they checked in with us to see if we needed them to tape anything else. Mike and Jessica are extremely professional and fun to work with. Our video was ready on our one month anniversary so we rushed home and watched it. It's beautiful! I couldn't have asked for anything better, and the fact that we received 3 videos made it even better (built in Christmas gifts for our parents)! I HIGHLY recommend meeting with them before you make any decisions about Videography for your big day, they truly are the best!

We were beyond blessed to have Michael and Jessica Day as our videographers for our wedding. Originally, my husband and I weren’t planning on having a videographer for our wedding because we didn’t think it fit into our budget. My mother (thankfully) insisted that we get one and she was lucky enough to find Daylight video. As soon as we sat down with Michael and Jess we knew we had to have them. Not only because we were able to see how talented and gifted they are but because they were both such genuine people who made you feel that your wedding day is a special day in their lives as well. One of the things that touched me most about Michael and Jessica was the fact that you aren’t “just” customers them. They kept in touch with us throughout the year leading up to the wedding and even called with a friendly hello and to ask how everything was going and how we were doing about 2 weeks before the big day. They were SO EASY to work with the day of our wedding… It was such a crazy day and everything went so fast but they still were able to catch things that I didn’t even realized happened. We just received our highlight video and I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it was to see them take all the most important parts of our wedding day and turn it into something more beautiful then my husband or I could have ever imagined. Jess and Mike were great to work with! They were one of the few businesses who replied to me, almost instantly and kept strong communication throughout the year. I had to pick the videographer for my daughter's wedding since she was living out of state. No easy task!
I met with several different people to compare options available and pricing. This was the last vendor hired because we didn't think we needed one. Wrong!
From the moment I met with Jess I knew that Daylight would be easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted. We loved the "style" of the sample videos. They addressed each and every concern immediately before and after the wedding day. Communication was excellent. Mike took time to explain details about what we could expect with the finished product depending on different cameras he would use. Daylight was flexible in designing the perfect package to fit our needs. They were virtually "invisible" on the wedding day but got some great shots. Thanks Jess and Mike!

I can't emphasize how special Michael and Jessica at Daylight Weddings and Films made our wedding day. We met with them a few months before our wedding, not sure if we even wanted to even hire a videographer, and they quickly changed our mind. They showed several examples of weddings and were very open to our ideas. They were very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable; they are both such nice and kind people- Jess is so sweet and Michael kept us laughing whenever he was around. I walk out of the meeting convinced that we needed someone to capture our special day.

As for the day of the wedding. The technology they use is up to date and very high quality. The shot and situations/candid moments they captured were priceless. They made our guest who are usually not comfortable with being on camera, very comfortable and at ease.

All I can say about the value and professionalism is EXCELLENT. I would recommend them to anyone out there who is looking for a high-quality wedding video. Great people, great videos, great sound, unbelievable experience. Thank Daylight for allowing us to relive the best day of our lives.

If you’re looking for a videographer to record your big day, Daylight Films by Michael and Jessica Day is the way to go to. They are friendly, kind and professional. We liked the fact that Michael was not disturbing. We were not aware of his presence while he was filming which we think is huge and he was able to get everything on camera without being intrusive in any way. He did an amazing job capturing all the key moments in our ceremony and reception. The value of his services and the finished product exceeded our expectations. His editing was amazing and didn’t need any changes. He also put together a beautiful DVD cover using some of our photographer’s pictures. We would highly recommend them to anyone and recommend getting a videographer for your big day as the day goes by so quick.

It was almost like love at first sight…meeting Jessica and Michael and knowing they were the perfect videographers for the job! Originally there were no plans to hire a videographer. As the wedding drew closer, emotions seemed to grow stronger. The importance of family and friends gathering for this special occasion had always been a priority, but as the day grew closer I couldn’t help but want to capture those who image, voice and actions we would want to preserve forever. I had briefly met Daylight Weddings at a early bridal fair and somehow had saved their card, called them and met again. Their friendliness and understanding was outdone only by their professionalism and quality of work. They had several videos to view and a broad portfolio. They are cinematographers in my eye, capturing memories while creating art! I figured these emotions were normal for me, the mother of the bride, but wanted the approval of the bride and groom before booking. Jess and Mike went above and beyond in meeting with the out-of-state couple by Skype. They were as impressed as I had been and that feeling prevailed throughout the wedding day as well. They arrived early, worked well with the photographers and were not just a fantastic team but also a wonderful support. Once again, their professionalism and friendliness prevailed. You will not find a better team and you will not be disappointed. Jess ( and Mike) provided excellent communication before, during and after the event. They were kind enough to share a glimpse of their work in the days following the wedding (a couple of stills) and also wrote ME a note of thanks when I am the thankful one! They were so caring and showed interest from our first conversation over email. When we met them for the first time in their beautiful office we already knew they were professionals. Out of all our wedding vendors they were the only ones that actually kept in touch though out the whole process to see how wedding planning was going. They were not the type to just take your deposit, call you for final payment & show up. They even let us pay the remainder of our balance once the product was delivered. That helped us out a bunch. Lastly, after we received our product they followed up with us to make sure we enjoyed our video. I am so glad that last minute we decided to capture such a special day on video. I am so pleased with the work that Mike and Jess did on our Wedding 6-23-12! They were professional, detail oriented, and a great surprise! Word of mouth is everything and unfortunately we had only heard horror stories about OTHER videographers so after doing a lot of research I finally got to meet with both Jess and Mike and knew they were the right choice right from the beginning. They were very attentive at the meeting making sure that every detail we wanted included in our wedding video would be even with a couple of odd requests we had. Daylight Films is a professional video company that we hired for our wedding. They did a tremendous job capturing every second of our wedding day. We met with them 2-3 times prior to the wedding and they were very enthusiastic and flexible. They have a bunch of packages to choose from and they are all a great value considering the high quality service they provided. We actually chose the Music Video package along with the wedding package which is cuts of video taken throughout the wedding with various people singing parts of the song. This was all edited by Daylight to put together a memorable wedding music video that never gets old to watch. We chose the song "I'm sexy and I know it" :) Overall experience with Daylight was two thumbs up! We definitely recommend giving Daylight a call if your searching for a videographer.

Jessica nd Mike were just wonderful. We were able to discuss our musical slelections annd preferences and they abided by all our wishes. They were extremely nice, professional and competent and the video is just beautiful. This was one of our best choices even though we had originally plan to pass on a video.
