I was one of those lucky Spring 2020 brides. When Covid hit the fan, we went ahead and got married in April 2020 without any family and a total attendance of 8... including us. We pushed the party out to April 2021 and went about our newlywed quarantine. That was the first postponement.
By December 2020, I realized I would have to postpone again. I confirmed a date for April 2022 with the venue and went through the rounds of calls, schedules, contract updates, etc. Now I'm an organized person but after postponing twice, having to switch some vendors, moving out of state, ordering a THIRD round of save the dates... let's just say I was not having fun anymore. I realized I needed to find a Cincinnati Wedding Planner to help me pull it off
Luckily, The Factory Events had De Evans on their recommended vendor list. The staff raved about her and I loved her from our first conversation. She is professional, friendly, and impeccably stylish. I honestly wish I would have let her design the whole damn thing but I was 2 years deep so oh well.
De scraped together my notes and documents, listened to our visions and input, made excellent suggestions when I got lost and with a little bit of magic- we finally had us a party. De dealt with coordinating vendors in the weeks leading up to the event. She kept everyone informed of the schedule and then kept everyone on it. She reorganized the ceremony at the last minute when we had VIP guests cancel (due to COVID) and managed a new layout on the day of when rain was imminent. She handled emotional family and rowdy groomsmen with poise and grace. She even peeled all the stickers off our favors because that's the level of detail she achieves. I know she did more but I didn't see because I was too busy dancing the night away while she handled business.
If you are in need of a wedding planner in the Cincinnati area, I cannot recommend Deanna Evans enough. Even if you think you have it under control, hire her anyway so you can actually enjoy yourself.
TLDR: Hire De. She is an angel. -

If you want to have an event that your friends and family will remember for years to come you must book with De Evans Events.
Deanna is definitely “The G.O.A.T”! (Greatest of all time). For my 50th birthday I envisioned having a 70’s party but I couldn’t see how it could be similar to a house party like my mom used to have when I was a child. To my surprise Deanna transformed a hotel party room into a 70’s HOUSE PARTY decorating sections of the room with the perfect ambiance for that 70’s feel.
Imagine my surprise upon my arrival I saw the guest were all dressed in 70’s attire dancing as the DJ was playing the sound of Carl Carlton, She’s a Bad Mama Jama. I was overcome with happiness and joy to see my friends and loved ones and the sparking 70’s globe that spun around the room, which I really wanted.
From the colorful living room decor, to the photo section with the high back peacock chairs and lava lamps, I appreciated every small detail.
Thank you Deanna for your punctuality, professional and most importantly for making my dream party come true. It’s was a great evening! I look forward to booking with you again for my next event. -

Deanna was absolutely amazing! When we started to plan our wedding in 2019 with Deanna we had no idea what lay ahead, including postponing our wedding due to COVID. If it wasn’t for Deanna I’m not sure how we would have survived wedding planning. She was there every step along the way and provided great ideas and input. She coordinated everything with our vendors which was a huge help and created a flawless timeline which made the day run smoothly. Her and her team were amazing day of getting everything setup. It was almost overwhelming walking into the venue for the first time because everything was exactly how I imagined it. I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Deanna and De Evans Events!!! -

The Best Wedding Day Investment
We hired Deanna as our Day of Coordinator and she truly went above and beyond our expectations of what a day of planner was. She got to know my husband and I so that she could make decisions as we would on our big day. She kept us on schedule without making me feel stressed about time at all which is a big deal as I am always late to everything thing. She also did an awesome organizing our vendors. We got lots of great feedback from other vendors about how much they appreciated Deanna reaching out and making sure they had all the wedding day details together. I know my day would not have went as well as it did if it were not for Deanna. Lastly she was lots of fun to work with. -

Deanna was extremely organized and professional throughout the entire process. Both of us wanted to be involved in the planning process; Deanna was flexible and mindful in her approach. Deanna took a lot of stress off of our plate. Our day of ceremony & reception felt seamless and ran so smooth. Deanna was able to take our vision and execute it without any issue. We feel that Deanna's services far exceeded our investment. -

We couldn't be happier that we hired Deanna to be our day-of wedding manager!! My mom, husband, and I wanted to do a lot of the planning ourselves, but we needed someone to help put it all together. Deanna was without question the right person for the job. She went above and beyond creating many detailed timelines, contacting all our vendors, getting everyone on the same page, etc. which alleviated MUCH stress from us. She took the time to meet with us more than once, within a month or so of our wedding, as it was very important to her that she knew exactly the vision we had for our day so she could help make it happen. She is also such a friendly person and super easy to work with. I will miss meeting with her! On the actual day-of, Deanna was on top of it & did an incredible job helping to make the night run smoothly. Because of her, we were able to truly enjoy the best day of our lives. We will HIGHLY recommend Deanna to anyone looking for a wedding manager. -

Deanna was so helpful in making sure everything went off without a hitch. She worked with this type-A bride and took everything off my plate for the wedding weekend so I didn't have to worry about a thing. We really saw her shine in our final details meetings with the photographer and caterer, asking questions we wouldn't know or think to ask, during the rehearsal when she really took charge and led us through the entrance, and the day-of, when she coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure our day was perfect. We're so grateful for all that Deanna did for our special day. -

Time was ticking and the pressure was on but Deanna planned a very elegant party, in a gorgeous venue. Saying thank you is not enough and cannot truly express how grateful I am for the amazing service you provided. I appreciate the smile you helped me to bring to my wife’s face when she walked into the room and saw all her closet family and friends from near and far. The personal touch you added to the decorations with my wife’s favorite color and added trinkets that match her personality was thoughtful and brought tears to her eyes. And the cake you helped me find not only was it beautiful, it was delicious. I highly recommend Day of Deanna for any event. She is very professional, personable and provides nothing less than exceptional service.

Although we had already selected the majority of our vendors, we were struggling with the logisitics and decided to explore hiring a planner. After our first phone meeting with Deanna, we knew she was the right planner for us! She was extremely organized, flexible,affordable and most importantly listened to all of our ideas. Leading up to the wedding she was on top of contacting vendors and created a detailed timeline/ checklist for us that we needed to complete each month. The timeline was very helpful and made the planning process less stressful. The day of the wedding was just incredible! Deanna worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect and all of our guests were taken care of. She was a great help in making sure our bridal party was on time and where they needed to be for the grand entrance/ceremony etc. In addition, Deanna went out of her way to polish every single detail from tying a ribbon onto our bathroom basket to creating detailed timelines for our out town guests. We really appreciated Deanna's creativity especially when we learned that we were not able to have a candy bar and late night snack bar. Deanna came up with the idea to add the bride & groom's favorite candy to our late night coney bar. Our guests absolutely loved it AND Deanna provided a beautiful manzanita tree with hanging rock candy (my husband's favorite candy) free of charge! If you are in the Cincinnati Area I highly recommend Deanna from Fresh Events!
