Sean and his team were really easy to work with. They were great at communicating with us all throughout the process, and Sean had great recommendations on other vendors to work as we were planning our wedding. Even a few months later, everyone has made a point to tell us how beautiful our photos are, and we are so appreciative of Sean and team sharing their talent with us.

Sean is absolutely amazing! My husband, Kevin, and I are very shy and awkward behind a camera but you wouldn't guess that from looking at our engagement and wedding photos. Sean was extremely professional and guided us when we were unsure what to do. He was also able to capture every special, natural, and candid moment throughout our big day. Sean was always quick to respond whenever we had questions and made sure we got our photos in a timely manner. QUALITY: When choosing a photographer, we wanted someone who was able to capture all of the "important" wedding moments, and we found someone who delivered this and so much more. In Sean's photography, we relived the anxious and eager moments of the first-look; we saw what we thought were shy and simple portraits that turned out breathtaking, grand, and simply beautiful; we saw our dearest friends and families celebrating by our sides (and on the dance floor!). We were looking for photos that did not mask or try to artificially enhance the day and we are so delighted to have such authentic, organic, yet jaw-dropping photos. Sean, we can't thank you enough for capturing our precious day filled with laughter, tears, romance, friendship, and happiness. Thank you for giving us so, so, so many gorgeous photos of our dating, engagement and wedding ceremony.

PROFESSIONALISM: When contacting Sean, he consistently responds quickly. He is also extremely flexible. Being long-distance during our engagement, Sean was able to work with us to find a time and place that worked best for my husband and me. And when my husband and I found a different venue from the original venue we wanted to be photographed, Sean happily and unhesitatingly granted our requests! It may not seem much, but we saw his enthusiastic attitude through our challenges and gained so much more respect for Sean.

PHOTOGRAPHER: Sean is so incredibly sweet, gentle, kind and down-to-earth. For shy people like us, we were so fortunate to have Sean not only to capture our story, but to also to genuinely get to know us. Sean is so great to work with! We happened upon him while searching for photographers in south Texas and ended up booking our engagement session with him. After we had gotten our engagement pictures back, it was no question that we had wanted him to shoot our wedding also. Sean makes it easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera and we couldn't be happier with our pictures. On our wedding day we had 3 photographers, Sean, his wife Deborah, and Adrianne who were all very talented. We definitely look forward to potentially doing more shoots with him in the future!

Sean is a wonderful photographer. We hired him for engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos. He made me and my husband feel so incredibly comfortable. He is professional, caring, creative, and creates stunning photography. I would highly recommend him to any and everyone.

I was particularly picky in the process of finding a photographer because I am a photographer myself. When it comes to documenting the best day of your life you want someone who is the absolute best. And let me tell ya'll, Sean is the absolute best. His creative eye, professionalism, and genuine personality makes him such a wonderful person to work with.

We were so blessed to have him as our photographer. We can't thank him enough for documenting such an life changing day for us in such a beautiful way.

Sean was so great and easy to work with, and our photos came out beautifully. We even met him prior to the wedding just to talk and he calmed my nerves about potential rain. I felt so much better just after meeting him! He and his second photographer were so great and professional and knew exactly what they were doing. You will not want to regret not hiring a quality photographer - the value is clear when you receive your photos. I would recommend Day 7 Photography to anybody getting married in this area.

If I can start out by giving you some words of wisdom, go straight to Sean's website and look at his portfolio right now. Sean is quite simply, an incredibly talented photographer. His portfolio will speak to his talent, his eye for lighting, his natural and organic style, and his ability to perfectly capture "the" moment better than I ever could. We've had our photos for two months now and I've been too busy gushing over them to take the time to write this in a way that can do Sean justice! For us, choosing Sean was easily the best decision we made for our entire wedding. As for Sean himself, he is wonderful to work with. He has a calm, friendly and professional demeanor and he made us both so comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding was at a venue he hadn't shot before and he went above and beyond by going to the venue early just to scope out the best spots for photos and lighting. That's just the type of professional that Sean is. From one bride to another, I cannot recommend him enough.

Sean was a pleasure to work with! From scheduling engagement photos, to bridal portraits, to the wedding day, he was always very professional, flexible, and easy to be around. He did a great job incorporating what we wanted and what our parents wanted into his creative style. Lots of people have commented on how beautiful and unique our wedding photos are. He is definitely more reasonably priced (more value for money) than some of the other photographers I looked at in the area. If you want photojournalism, natural looking, non cookie cutter photos, he's your guy!

I really enjoyed working with Day 7 Photography. I chose them over other companies because the owner was very professional and responsive to emails. He was willing to work with our needs and schedule. I've worked with 4 other weddings photographers and Day 7 is one of my favorites. I love how attentive they are to details. Sometimes, photographers will ask you to be natural, but natural does not always produce great photos. With Day 7, I asked for my specific instructions and he was able to communicate them to me in a comfortable and fun way. I recommend them and would work with them again!

Day 7 Photography was such a great choice for our wedding photographer! I absolutely loved working with Sean throughout the experience as he did our engagement session, my bridal portraits, and our full wedding day.

Sean, the owner, is very professional and made us feel at ease throughout the process as my husband and I were not used to being in front of the camera. From the beginning, Sean was very responsive via email and it was easy to book 2 sessions and the wedding day even if he was traveling to from Austin to Houston each time. He was even very helpful in planning day-of tips so that our actual wedding day was smooth and we got all of the pictures we wanted.

On top of it all, I absolutely adore all of the pictures that he and his assistant took! The pictures are so natural and fun. Booking Day 7 Photography was one of the best decisions my husband and I made in our wedding planning.

The pictures Sean took, literally took my breath away!!! Omg, he is amazing!!!! I posted some of them last night to my Facebook page and today at work everyone kept telling me about how absolutely beautiful all of my pictures were. We are so glad we asked Sean to be our wedding photographer - he did such a spectacular job capturing our day, and he was wonderful to work with!! Even though our wedding was in Hawai'i, and Sean lives in Texas, we decided to see if it was still possible to make this work because my husband and I love Sean's work and style (my husband has been following his work for the past couple years). We are extremely thankful that we could work something out, and we ended up doing our engagement photos with Sean, as well - in Los Angeles, where we currently live. Sean's calm and professional demeanor made it stress-free on the wedding day, even during our most hectic time of post-ceremony portraits, as we made spontaneous changes/additions to our shotlist. (Heh...) We really appreciated his flexibility, but also his direction and suggestions (we left the photo locations, including the first look, up to him). The wedding photography was one area that was extremely important to us, and my husband is pretty picky about photographers' styles, but we were SO HAPPY with all our photos. Looking through the pictures truly enabled us (and others, including those who were unable to attend the wedding) to live through the day again. For the things that I couldn't see in person during the wedding day (for example, the ceremony processional, the guys getting ready, etc.), I really felt like I was there experiencing it with them when I looked through Sean's photos. We really felt like he was able to capture so much of the emotion throughout the day. Lastly, we were AMAZED at how quickly Sean got our photos to us! Thank you so much for everything, Sean!!!

Sean was one of the best investments we made in our wedding day! His style of photography was exactly what we were looking for and his pricing was incredibly reasonable. He captured moments in our ceremony and reception in the best possible way. He also made us and our wedding party feel completely at ease with his direction.

Sean also worked with us on our engagement photos and made our outdoor shoot in cold, windy, and eventually pouring rain weather into amazing photos that we received a ton of compliments on. We highly recommend Sean for any photography needs!

Sean was a blessing to have at our wedding. He is extremely accommodating and patient, and had some great ideas throughout the day. The pictures far exceeded what we hoped for and our family and friends were very impressed with his work. His work is professional and just fabulous. Sean is brilliant and so kind. He is one of the best photographers I have seen. My husband, Sunny, and I were so happy with Sean's quality of work. So many of our friends and family loved our photos! I loved his artistic, soft style. He got both natural and fun photos. Like many other people, Sunny and I were unsure of what to do with our hands. Sean helped us with where to place our hands, how to tilt our heads, etc. He was so flexible and just a super nice guy. He's got a great heart and is such a genuine person. I think it's important to get along with your photographer - and we got along with Sean great! My sister and I took Sean out to lunch after my bridal portrait session, and just enjoyed chatting with him. I could say so much more about Sean, but I truly think his work speaks for itself =) Thanks Sean for everything - you're amazing!!!!!

Sean shot my wedding last weekend, and he is definitely a photographer that rolls with the punches. My wedding was supposed to be all outside with an orchard ceremony and lawn dinner, but mother nature did not agree. It decided to rain, and all the wedding plans changed at the last minute. Sean never appeared to be stressed out due to the chaotic situation, and in fact, he was one of the things that calmed me the most. I've only seen a small portion of my photos so far, but I'm blown away by what I've seen. I can not wait to see the rest! I highly recommend Day 7 Photography for any of your wedding/photography needs. He was always quick to respond to any questions I had, and he was amazing on my big day!

Sean was absolutely amazing! When my husband and I decided to do a planned elopement we worried we wouldn't be able to find a photographer that would not only be up to our expectations but also available on such short notice! We are so grateful for Sean and Day 7 for providing us with such beautiful photos that really captured the intimacy of our day. Even with rainy skies he was able to find beautiful light and really take advantage of the natural surroundings. He was even nice enough to stick around a little longer than planned! Day 7 Photography, simply put, is amazing and I would recommend to everyone! From our first meeting with Sean, he was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing, and was very friendly. He always answered all of our emails and questions promptly and arrived early for both our engagement shoot and wedding day to scope out the scene. Not only are his pictures unbelievably stunning, he is so creative and had tons of great ideas for different shots and captured every aspect of our big day, and more! Our pictures were ready very fast-- some were even ready to view at the wedding! I really can’t say enough great things about Day 7. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married!

I just received my photos from my wedding and I can't stop looking at them! Sean is such a talented photographer! And a really nice guy on top of it!

We met for the first time on the day of, and he went straight to work snapping photos. He has a keen eye for catching the small details and did an amazing job of capturing candid moments.

I HIGHLY recommend Day 7 Photography. Sean responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had, was very professional and courteous, was very easy to work with, and most importantly captured my wedding events throughout the day beautifully. The portraits turned out better than I could ever have hoped! He was so comfortable to work with, and that was something that I felt was very important to me. He also e-mails you tips on how and what to prepare prior to the wedding. I even e-mailed him asking for specific portraits I wanted and he took care of everything for me. I did not have to worry about anything.

It was truly a pleasure working with Sean for both our engagement session and wedding day! He always delivered with excellence and exceeded our expectations. He wasn't expected to arrive early, but for both sessions he arrived extra early to scope out the location for ideal spots and lighting. We had our engagement session at Memorial Hermann Park and he discovered locations that I never knew existed (it turned out that those were some of our favorite pictures). Sean was ahead of the game not only the day of the photo shoots, but he was provided timelines, questionnaires, suggestions that would leave us feeling secure and best prepared on the day of shoots.

He responds back to emails in a timely manner (within 24 hours). We would give him 10 stars if possible for professionalism and flexibility! On our wedding day, there were some unexpected photographers (many guests who would jump in front of Sean with their cameras). I was concerned that those taking the formal group portraits with us would be confused as to which camera to look at, but I was blown away by his ability to work around the interference and capture gorgeous shots! During our reception, I was surprised that Sean and his associate photographer had already edited our pictures from our pre- ceremony to display to our guest at our photo booth. Within a week, he had finished our wedding highlights.

With Day 7 Photography, we were confident we were in great hands. We look forward to our last session with him - post wedding bridal portraits! Some of our other friends had used him for their wedding and I have some others who will be using him for their upcoming wedding. I would recommend him to anyone!

We had the pleasure to work with Sean for our engagement photos and wedding day photography. We knew he would be the one to shoot our special day because when we first sat down with him, we could detect his friendly and professional demeanor and his passion for what he does. He and his team produce very beautiful pictures that tell a story, obtaining those moments in very natural and easy-going ways. Sean captured some really amazing, candid shots on our wedding day. I could not be happier with how they turned out. He was prompt, thorough, and always responsive. He was subtle, not in everyone's face taking pictures like I've seen at some weddings. To be honest, I hardly noticed him. The best part is Sean adds an artistic touch to his photos that I think fit perfectly our wedding style. HIGHLY recommend Day 7.

Do yourself a favor -- stop looking and hire Sean now! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding photos. The candid shots were everything I hoped for and more, and the portraits were also so lovely. He is such a hard worker. He showed up early the day of our wedding and went out of his way to find the best locales for all of our pictures. He was super flexible when we needed to change up the order and times of who was photographed when, and he has such a calm, reassuring way about him that kept us at ease and feeling beautiful. My 3 best friends and I actually got senior photos done with Sean, but I wanted to share my review anyways because I want to convince everyone to book their session with Day 7.

Sean is extremely professional and can capture the ambience of a moment in a single frame. As a collection, the photos tell a story of our friendship and have sparked conversation with so many people over the past few weeks. Family and friends always comment on how genuine our expressions look (because Sean made us so comfortable) and how interesting the locations/shots are (because Sean scouted the area before hand to find neat places).

I honestly could not have been more pleased with my senior photos. My friends and I are going to different states for college next year, but I will always look back on these photos and have Sean to thank for capturing this chapter of my life.

It was great working with Day 7 Photography and I have no complaints. Sean responds very quickly to e-mails and phone calls and has always been really friendly. What stood out to me was that Sean is very passionate about photography and was more concerned about taking that perfect photo instead of rushing to end the session. Furthermore, Sean sent a preview picture the same night as the session and sent us all of the photos within the same week. The photos are very detail oriented and contain beautiful surroundings that I did not notice while at the location. I would highly recommend Day 7 Photography to anyone that wants quick results, friendly service, and beautiful photos.

We took family pictures with Sean and he was great! He managed to get wonderful pictures of my very active and not-aways-cooperative kids, and was very patient with us when we had to abruptly get up and chase after them. His pictures turned out really nicely with some great suggestions for poses or positioning. We appreciated his flexibility, patience and creativity throughout the session.

We knew some friends who had a great experience using Day 7 for their wedding photos. We found out that Day 7 also offered family portrait sessions so we hired them for that. Sean was very professional throughout the process and he provided a great experience during the shoot. Our three young children had fun the whole time and when we got the pictures back, we were amazed how Sean captured what the morning was really like - a family having fun at the park together on a gorgeous Austin morning. We've gotten a lot of nice comments from friends who enjoyed viewing the pictures and we'd definitely use Day 7 Photography again. We highly recommend Sean and Day 7 Photography if you are looking for some great photographs for a great value.

Sean also took pictures for my wedding, and they turned out gorgeous! He did a stellar job of photographing every detail and important moment of the day, and I felt reassured knowing that I could trust him with this huge milestone. On the actual day, some unexpected and unwanted "photographers" (in the form of a relative and family friend) showed up that made me worried about the quality and quantity of pictures we would receive, but Sean did an excellent job of tactfully working around them. In less than a week, highlights from the wedding were emailed out, and I was blown away by the craftsmanship-every image was crisp, clear, and captured true emotion, which allowed me to relive favorite moments.

Day 7 is definitely a great value for couples on a budget looking for someone experienced to record your engagement or wedding memories. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We have only completed our engagement photos so far (on July 6th), but after two days, I had already swarmed my Facebook news feed with the finished products. My fiance and I are admittedly not the most photogenic people, but Sean and his intern Victoria were able to create a relaxing environment and various photo opportunities, allowing us to break out of our shells and come out with great quality pictures.

Even from the beginning, Day 7 Photography was able to meet with us and get to know us, communicate with us with quick correspondence and helpful resources, and create a custom photo package perfect for us and our wedding needs.

I look forward to working with Day 7 Photography again when our wedding comes around, confident that their friendly natures and great eyes for photo opportunities will give us high-quality, well-edited wedding memories to last us a lifetime!

We first came across the Day 7 Photography website by chance and I immediately fell in love with the style of photography. After days of extensive research, we decided to take a chance on this relatively new company. Hiring Sean was by far the best decision we made regarding vendors! Don't let his age fool you - even though he's young, he is extremely professional and responsible and his pictures rival those of photographers who have been around for decades.

Let me start by saying that our wedding was a 14 hour marathon. Sean and his assistant photographer, Vicky, showed up on time at 10am and immediately started shooting our getting ready pictures. Then they came to the church with us for the Catholic wedding. Indoor lighting was not a problem for this camera magician! After church, they came back to the hotel with us and shot another set of getting ready pictures, followed by a two hour long Hindu wedding (indoor lighting again). Sean did not interrupt us a single time to ask us to change positions, but I did see him a few times rolling on the floor and standing in weird positions to get the best shot possible - he found the best angle for every single picture. Then, after the ceremonies we took a few pictures by the lake with our bridal party. Everyone was tired, hungry, hot, and cranky as I'm sure he was too, but he didn't let on. He snapped pictures left and right and got some amazing shots. After that, we came back to the reception, and there he was for the next 6 hours, capturing all the fun. During the reception, Vicky manned the photo booth and our guests had a blast taking pictures! The very next day, we got a preview (3 pictures) and by the time we came back from our honeymoon, we were greeted by a collection of over 20 amazing photos as well as the photo booth pictures, which is much faster than the industry standard - our family and friends have given us so many compliments on the photos as well as on Sean and Vicky's attentiveness.
I highly recommend Day 7 Photography. You will be amazed at what Sean and his team can do! Sean will definitely make sure that you have the most beautiful printed memories of your wedding day.

Sean is a rockstar in the photography world and an even better business professional. We loved working with Sean because of his character and professionalism. He listens and communicates well, is detail-oriented and delivers exceptional results.

Moreover, Sean's contributions go far and above just a digital photo. He is calm, conscientious, and always positive. It’s an empowering feeling knowing that you’re working with a photographer that makes you feel confident and natural during the shoot.

One thing I appreciated about Sean was that his artistry wasn't forced upon my fiancee and I. We didn't have to overexert ourselves in awkward body positions or excessive prop use for him to get the right shot. We noticed that he DID overly exert HIMSELF and go above and beyond to get the picture that he needed. He was rolling on the floor, laying in the mud, and running around like a ninja just so that the onus wasn't on us to get the perfect picture. It made our engagement session VERY natural. We enjoyed it so much that afterwards, my fiance and I considered it a date and not even a photo shoot!

Definitely a great experience with Sean, and I would highly recommend him as a photographer.

Sean is an incredibly talented photographer. His pictures are amazing! He captures so much in just a picture. He uses lighting very well in his photographs, and he's also very artistic in the way he portrays the environment around his clients. Sean is also very timely and professional. We got our pictures two days after our engagement session! I would highly recommend Sean as your photographer!

Sean was an awesome choice for a photographer! We have only had our engagement session at this point, but he did a great job makes us feel comfortable and relaxed. Considering we both have having pictures taken of us, this was quite a feat. The pictures can out looking amazing!

Sean and his team from Day 7 Photography were awesome! He answered all my questions, listened to suggestions, and accommodated our super-hectic schedules (teaching, grad school, coaching!). We loved both our engagement and wedding photos. On top of all that, Sean also put together a wedding book of our favorite wedding images that all our friends and family can "ooh" and "ahh" over! For friendly, professional service offered at a real value, choosing Day 7 Photography to take care of our pictures was one of the best decisions we made.

Sean is a good friend of mine, it was a great blessing to have him be a part of our wedding as our photographer. Nothing speaks to me more than personal touch and Sean gives that to you. He connects and really cares about people, it's not just a job to him, but a passion. That in and of itself is priceless. He is a positive part of such a big day where so many things can go wrong.

When we saw our pictures we got to see just how good Sean was at capturing moments. His eye for what and when to snap is better than many I've seen. We love the pictures, so thankful we have them.

Sean hasn't been doing this for a long time, but man, you would think he was a veteren that's been doing it for 10+years. The quality of product, personal connection and taste he left in everyone's mouth at the wedding was just amazing. I highly recommend him.

Day 7 Photography shot my engagement photos [will review again after wedding day photos] and was absolutely fantastic. Very relaxed style that made my fiancee and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera even though it was our first time being photographed together. Very quick to respond to emails and very flexible in general. Enjoyed conversations with them as they are great people to be around. Photos came out better than I could've ever imagined (quality) and so many great shots that I love (quantity). Thanks, Day 7! Can't wait to have you for our wedding day.

UPDATE: My husband and I LOVED having Day 7 Photography as wedding day photographers too.

Why I enjoyed working with Sean: It is very obvious that Sean enjoys what he does. He is very intentional with each photo - the photos tell a story across the board and are artful in and of themselves. Sean is responsive in communication and punctual/early to all meetings/shoots. These are quality photos from a quality photographer.

An example of Sean's dedication and even foresight while he is at work: During our wedding reception when Sean saw that my husband and I had a couple minutes free, he asked if we could step outside as dusk was breaking. He had a vision for a photo he wanted to get of us in our reception attire on the bridge. Now that we have our wedding album, that photo is one of my favorite post-ceremony photos of us and I am SO glad he took the time to get that shot.

Now that the wedding day is over, it is invaluable to me that I still have these precious wedding photos and a beautifully-made wedding album to remember the celebration that began our marriage.

My quick advice: Book him NOW because Sean's packages are very affordable for how exceptional of a photographer he is. Also, let him know if there's any specific shots you must have because there's a lot to photograph during the wedding day! I think that will help him out a lot.

Sean is AMAZING! The few weeks prior to our shoot date I had checked the weather and it said that it would be raining on the day of our shoot. I emailed Sean about it and without any hesitation he was willing to change the date to the following weekend. Day 7 was so accommodating and so easy to work with. On several occasions, I emailed him wanting to make sure that the location sites I picked out were okay and if the props I bought could be used in some of the shots. There were tons of emails back and forth and I never once felt like Sean was annoyed or impatient with me. He always had a quick and friendly response...which I appreciated so much given the stress of a looming wedding ahead. Yesterday, we had our session with Day 7 and we had the best day with him shooting our engagement photos. He was so creative and so easy to work with. I haven't seen the finished product yet, but I saw some preview shots he sent us this morning and a few pictures on his camera from yesterday and they were all breathtaking. We had already booked our wedding photographer prior, but we're so sad he won't be shooting our wedding. Hire him if you're in need of engagement or wedding photos!! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world having had Sean take our engagement photos. He was everything I needed in a photographer - professional, punctual, talented, original, friendly, smart, fun, and game for anything! He was a pro at putting my fiance and me at ease during awkward or tense moments, which I really appreciated. My fiance and I are excited to see the rest of our photos and are anxiously waiting! Picking Day 7 Photography is 100% a no-brainer. I wish I could give Sean 10 stars. I can't imagine having had a more satisfying experience with anyone else!!

This was only a couple photo shoot, but I had to rate Day 7 because of how pleased we were with the work they did.
This photo shoot was a surprise to my girlfriend for her Birthday so timing was very important. I contacted Day 7, 2 weeks before our shoot and even though he didn't have the weekend of her Birthday available, he wrote me down for the 14th.
He was very prompt and professional with our correspondence, via e-mail and facebook.

Our actual photo shoot was a grey day, with a chance of rain, but he said he was willing to shoot in some rain if we were game since the photos come out really nicely. We agreed to come out and the shoot was stress free and easy! We had never gone to a photo shoot before and our advice is just to have a natural conversation with your partner, and he'll catch all the shots you want and more. He was never very demanding, only occasionally asking us to look certain directions or hold each other in a certain way.

As far as location goes, he was willing to go to anywhere locally I had in mind but I had no idea so he chose the location, and although I was a bit skeptical, they turned out really well and were done the evening of. Our photo shoot was only and hour long, but we were still pleasantly surprised in the turn around time. Overall a great, easygoing experience and well worth the price!

Day 7 Photography shot my engagement pictures. I could not be more happy with how they turned out. I had some very specific requests - must integrate Scrabble tiles into the photos, must have a picture in front of Jo's Coffee, must have a picture of us walking and holding hands - but Sean dealt with all of them beautifully. He gave wonderful direction, capturing natural, beautiful photos. After I posted the photos on my Facebook, I had notifications popping up all day long from people gushing over the photos. Not to mention that they pleased my photographer fiance (who really wanted to try to take our photos himself. Ha!) I highly recommend Day 7 Photography to take care of all your photographic needs.

We did a fun trash-the-dress session with these awesome photographers, and they provided excellent and prompt service coupled with lots of creative moments. I appreciate how laid-back and flexible both Sean and Linhao were. They made being photographed very easy. We treasure the images and consider most of them better than our actual wedding photos done by another photographer!

We loved working with Sean. We did our engagement photos with him and are very pleased with the work he did. He was very good at communication, even with a venue change at the last minute due to weather. I suggested a location that he was unfamiliar with, but he did a great job of surveying the site and working with it. I very much appreciated his flexibility there. The day after the session he emailed us a preview with five pictures, which was such a great surprise! We weren't expected to see them so soon and it was very thoughtful of him to send them so quickly.
My fiance and I were a bit hesitant about doing engagement photos, mostly because neither of us usually feel at ease in front of the camera. Sean did an amazing job of making us feel relaxed and offering helpful suggestions. He is very professional and it is obvious that photography is a passion for him. He devotes tremendous energy into it and we could tell that he loves what he does. I would absolutely recommend him for your engagement and wedding photos!

Day 7 photography was AWESOME!!! I hired them to do family photos for my future in laws and immediately turned around and hired them for my wedding! Aside from being a great deal they had great service, a fantastic turn around time, and did an awesome job. You could tell they put a lot of thought and care into every image. I got married about 3 months ago. I randomly came across an ad they had on Yelp while I was looking up photographers for our wedding.

Sean and Linhao were surprisingly professional and talented, given how young they are. But don't let their age fool you. They were calm and professional throughout the whole time, made me and my husband feel at ease, especially when we had no professional wedding coordinator, and we don't have time to do any real research on wedding photography. We just gave them very little directions and they ran with it but also respected the style that we wanted as well. They respected our budget needs, our tight schedule, and never pushed us to do anything we were uncomfortable with.

When we saw our photos, within basically a couple of weeks which is an unbelievable turnaround according to my other married friends, we were thoroughly impressed. I'm so glad I caught them early on when we were able to get such a good deal for our package! But they are definitely worth it. They sent us our photo album within a month I think, and it is definitely something we are pleased with. I'm confident that they will really take off in this business, and I hope they will! I will definitely recommend them, 100%.

Wedding planning is stressful, and picking just the right person to do you pictures is even more stressful. You have so many questions and want so many answers and how can you tell from just looking at peoples websites if they will mesh well with you.... this is what we ran into at least. I emailed quite a few photographers, and liked alot of peoples work. I will say that Day 7 was by far the easiest to keep asking questions and put my mind at ease. I wanted to make sure that I picked someone that not only fit my vision but that my family would feel good with as well. I emailed with Sean continuously and not in the most effective way as well one email had tons of questions, another just one... He never seemed to get impatient and always had a great friendly attitude. Was willing to meet up for coffee or chat over the phone, whatever worked with my schedule - and we DO have a crazy one! We shot some pictures with him as a family (my fiance, our daughter and myself) after already deciding he was going to do our wedding photography, and let me tell you I have NEVER been as impressed with the way pictures turned out, or the comfort level we were put as as I was after this last session. And my mind, as a crazy bride in planning mode, is completely set at ease. We have TONS of great pictures to choose from, my shy fiance was totally at ease taking the pictures and we have amazing options and everyone that has seen them has been so impressed. I can honestly say that you cant beat the satisfaction in feeling comfortable and at ease with the person who will be shooting one of the biggest days of your life, and I am more than ecstatic to know that Sean will be shooting our big day. My 6 year old daughter loved him, and just responded to him immediately, he made me feel comfortable and not at all insecure or nervous in front of the camera, and my fiance just opened right up. He also captures moments that you wouldnt even think of, and gets great candid shots as well as posed shots, which is great when youre thinking about your big day. I would absolutely recommend Day 7 photography to anyone looking for wedding photography or portraits, as I can say first hand I am blown out of the water with the work we have already had done and the many encounters we have had with Sean.

Sean did such an amazing job with our engagement session and wedding - from the initial meeting where he really took the time to hear our story to the wedding day, Sean captured every important detail of our journey beautifully. For our engagement session, Sean traveled to meet us in Santa Monica, LA and took many photos of us on the Santa Monica Pier. For the wedding, Sean traveled down to Houston, TX and was timely, thoughtful, and polite. We are so happy with our photos and with the service Sean provided. He and his assistant photographer were able to coordinate a large number of family members and a big wedding party and the results (both posed and candid shots) are artistic, clever and sweet.

It was great working with Sean. He was flexible and went out of his way to make this happen for us. This was for a family session and there were two families with small children and the grand parents. Sean made everyone enjoy the session. We were all very relaxed and just enjoyed the photo shoot as Sean worked with all of our requests. We also loved the professional visions he brought. All the photos came out great, and that was super hard with so many people involved!

I LOVE how the photographs turned out! Sean was very professional and intentional at making us feel comfortable. I was nervous my smile would look forced but the photos looked very natural. The photographs are so vibrant and I love the variety of shots Sean got. Amazing services! Would recommend to anyone!!
