    These ladies were very wonderful to us. We rarely made an appointment and they took us right in. They made us feel important every time we went in there. Amazing ladies wonderful place!!

    SO i honestly somewhat dreaded finding a dress because i an a little picky plus i am short as well and dreaded having to do all that alteration stuff and then didn't want to spend a ton of money on a dress to wear one time. We went to Davids bridal they were so friendly we didn't even make a appointment i had stuff saved o a online profile that they just pulled up she took my measurements real quick i filled out a piece of paper and then we got to trying on dresses I tried on 3 dresses but ended up taking home the first one i put on and also it was like it was made for me I am 5'2 and didn't even have to get it altered it was a great experience allot better that what i imagined THEY ARE AWESOME at the Terre Haute IN Davids Bridal store keep it up girls!!!

    I have actually bought two dresses at David's. I bought my first dress and had been told by a friend not to pay their alteration department for the alterations but just to take it to a outside alteration shop. Big Mistake! By the week before my wedding, the original dress still did not fit, with the alteration shop that I had taken it to telling me that they had done their best even though it still fit like it was a size too big. So, I went over to David's and ended up ordering a totally different dress! They had it ready to wear with in 3 days! I will say though, that I did have 3 pregnant bridemaids and they made them order dresses that were entirely too big on them and some of them still did not fit right by my wedding day! They also paid a ton to have them altered as best they could! So, if you have a pregnant bridesmaid make sure you stand up to them and not let them order a size 22 for a size 3 girl!

    The service was great and i felt that the lady that took care of me and my bridesmaids really cared about what style i wanted/what my budget was. I would highly recommend Davids Bridal to anyone who is in need of a wedding gown or bridesmaid dress.

    We bought our bridesmaids dresses here and the overall experience was great. The process was simple and easy. I ended up changing my mind on the color after the dresses had been ordered and some even delivered but they were able to change it and get the dresses back in plenty of time. Overall all we were pleased with the service and quality

    Wonderful dresses with lots to choose from. However, they do mislead you on the $99 dress sale because that does not include very many of their dresses.

    I love my dress! I also love the in-store service I received, although, I would not suggest calling the store for help. I felt rushed when trying to explain what I needed to see if they had it in-store if it was something I needed to order. When my slip didn't fit, I again called the store and was given a generic answer but when I came in to exchange it, they were very helpful! Overall, it was a good experience.

    I ordered my dress one year before my wedding. 6 months before my wedding I decided I wasn't happy with my wedding dress. They were very understanding and let me exchange for a different wedding dress , that I love! The only bad experiences I have had is we had to change the style of bridesmaid's dresses after one girl already ordered hers because they discontinued the dress, but they let her exchange the dress to match the new style of bridesmaid dresses. Also the management isn't the friendliest but the consultants on the sales floor are very friendly and fun to work with!

    This was a the best place to shop I found. The girls were very friendly and helpful. But they also trapped me into buying things I didn't want in the end. After a couple days of looking around I was talked in to putting everything into layaway. What I wasn't told was that once you put something in layaway you have to buy it, and layaway is the only way to keep someone else from buying it but you better know that's what you want. I ended up buying a 250 dollar hair piece I didn't even use.

    David's Bridal is a good place to go for your dress and accessories...their prices are a little high but they're not bad...The problem I had was when I went to pick up my dress, they were very rude and distant from their customers...there were other customers in there, trying on dresses, they were very attentive to them and kind of ignored me...you would think, someone who had already purchased their dress would be their first priority. I look at it this way, if someone's bought something from me, I will make sure I take care of them very well because they are the one's that are going to recommend my business to their friends and relatives...yes the other customers need to be taken care of as well but you need to treat all customers equally...That was the major problem I had with David's Bridal!!!

    When it comes to prices for wedding dresses - this is the place to go.
    My original consultant was very helpful and the lady helping me try on the dresses was great too. I would pick out a dress to try on and they would show me what veils and jewelry went best with it.
    When I went back with a different bridesmaid to have her try on a couple bridesmaid dresses, we fell in love the the lady helping us. It was like playing dress up and she was just so happy and cheerful the whole time...not like we were being a bother for wanting to do so much.
    Unfortunately, this woman and my original consultant left this store...as a result, no one picked up my bridal party's paperwork to keep track of who has their dress, what the deadlines are and so forth.
    One of my bridesmaids was pregnant at the time so we were waiting as long as possible to get her dress so it didn't have to be altered 500 times. When she finally did go in they told her they no longer carried my bridesmaids dresses (they were discontinued) and that the following day was the last day to order for the dress to be here on time.
    Naturally, being the bride, I went nuts.
    Turned out they had all the information wrong on the dresses, the one she went in for was indeed still in production and in stock, but the next day was still the last day to order. The associate helping her ordered her a size 22 (she may be pregnant, but she's normally like a size 3), then when the dress came in they wanted to charge twice what the dress cost to alter it to fit her. When we confronted the store manager about everything she apologized and said something like "they should have ordered a dress that was the right size and then a second dress for the extra fabric needed". Anyone who knows anything about sizing clothes is that you size down, not up. Of course, either way none of us had the money at the time to help her pay for the alterations and we were definitely running out of time because we "fell through the cracks" as the manager put it. After some arguing we returned the dress and drove up to Indianapolis and found a dress for my pregnant friend (we were so lucky to find one the exact same color and hue!) all 9 days before the wedding.
    Another up side to the experience is that since my wedding dress had not been altered I was able to exchange it for a different size (I had my son two months before the wedding and needed the next size up.) with no problems.

    The dress was beautiful at a resonable price. Not so sure on the customer service though.

    They were very welcoming. However, the lady that measured my bridesmaid measured her incorrectly. We spent as much on alterations as we did on the dress.

    They were very difficult to schedule appointments with, and they showed almost no interest while I was in to shop. I barely got a nod from the clerk when I walked in the door. The dresses were alright, you get what you pay for there.

    I wanted consultion on a bustle and to purchase a slip. I wanted to know what would lool best with my gown and still be cost effective. The alterations lady was very rude to me. She was short and only showed me one way to do my bustle. I was seeing what they could do for me versus what someone I knew who less experienced. I told them this ahead of time because payment is due that day and I was not sure what I wanted. Needless to say they were just salespeople and not someone genuinely concerned about my best interests. I did get a slip but that is just because I was not sure where else to be able to get one with the crynolyn(spelling?).but it is a hefty price for something you'll never use again And doesnt have sentimental valur! They also suggested I had to do a bunch of alterations... my wedding is a month out, I dont think it is okay to be doinh crazy alterations at this point. when I purchased the dress it fot perfectly!! And it still fits great!!

    The gown that I purchased for my wedding was a discontinued dress and the only option for me was their sample. I didn't have a problem with that but what I did have a problem with is that they only wanted to do one fitting and that was 3 months before my wedding. As most brides know, due to the stress of your wedding, your weight is not consistant during the planning stages. After they altered my dress incorrectly and had to be redone, my "final fitting" was 5 weeks before the wedding. I decided, smartly, to try on my gown the week before the wedding and it almost fell to ground as it was so loose on me. I was so distressed about it and they told me there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to pay for another set of alterations and "rush fees". I decided to just wear an extra strapless bra and deal with the rest of it being loose. Best advice - wait on your alterations AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!!!!
