Paveena Sent on 12/09/2016David is simply fantastic in all ways possible! He is caring, extremely creative, knowledgeable, so talented in his work!! My meetings with him for my bridal shoot (four + times) and for my wedding photography (several times as well) have always been so fun and productive. His staff is wonderful too! My in-laws were talking about how professional and on-point David and his crew were the whole evening of my wedding. They were wondering why I was talking so freely & casually with him and its because I felt like he had become a true friend by the time my wedding day came around. The pictures came out more beautifully than I could ever imagine. My husband and I made the best decision ever to go with him as the photographer for our special day!! -

Angela Sent on 07/24/2014Working with David Scruggs was an absolute pleasure! From the beginning he was attentive, flexible and very interested in being a part of an Indian Wedding. He was so excited to take part in his first indian wedding and was always inquiring about our different traditions and the rituals in our culture. He was very thoughtful and chose many scenic areas to take our wedding and engagement pics. I would highly recommend David to any couple wanting a beautifully captured wedding! -
User1476535 Sent on 12/18/2013Got tons of pics, and by tons, I mean 10 shots of the exact same thing. Example: I received 17 shots of just the wedding dress and only 2 of the pics look decent. I asked for a 2nd photographer and specifically said it was to capture cocktail hour moments that I would miss. The 2nd photographer spent that time walking with a lighting device to assist the cameraman because he doesn't like to take shots with flash.
When my online albums were turned over for sharing, one was completely empty and I had to email him back to correct the problem and he made it available the next day. Then when my dvd arrived several pictures were missing from the dvd that were in the online album, and he had to resend a dvd with an added 200 pictures that were missing. I am still not convinced that that all my pictures were turned over to me. Who doesn't check their work before turning it over to a client.
When I contacted him about the shots that I selected for my album, a week later, I get a response that he was busy working on Halloween shoots so could not get to my album. When he did get to my album, I had to ask him to move images because his layout was not to my liking of something to cherish for the rest of my life and his response after my second request to fix the album was if I want any additional changes, I would have to begin paying him by the hour. Then, I had to wait a week again for the last change which was only adding words to a page and was told it was because he had commitments on the weekend and would not get to my album until after those were complete. Then again, I got a question a week later about the album cover with an oh by the way he is caught in the dallas storm so my album would not be ordered/ready until he returned.
I would not recommend for a wedding, but I would for models because a lot of our wedding pics were of my cousin who is a model who he contacted prior to contacting us after our wedding, but when we met him he said she contacted him. At thisDavid Scruggs Photography's reply:
